A short personal vlog by Hinesh Chauhan recounting how he missed his son's ultimate Frisbee tournament after going to the wrong location (Walter Baker Sports Centre vs Walter Baker Park). He reflects on a similar childhood memory when a bus took his family to London Bridge while they had meant to visit Tower Bridge. The piece centers on miscommunication, attention-to-detail, and parent-child pride.

I'm pretty bummed. Yesterday I missed watching my son play at his ultimate Frisbee tournament where his team ended up winning. And it's because of a lack of attention to detail or better coordination and communication. I thought I'd break up my day and go surprise him in the middle of the day. And drove out to a place called the Walter Beaker Sports center, where he told me it was. Well, he told me was that Walter Baker go around, walk around, ask questions, try to find him, couldn't find him, come back and wait for him to get back and have him tell me the great news that they won and he was forwarded as the MVP for the first game. And he's a handler. So in regular people terms, that's a quarterback. And I. He's my son. I think he's an impressive kid. I love being able to enjoy these moments and share them. But I missed the opportunity because there's a Walter Baker park, which is in a different part of the city. And so I completely missed out. And I was just thinking about that and kind of sulking about it and remembering a moment when I was younger with my parents visiting London. And we had asked to the bus driver to. Or the bus required, does it take us to London Bridge? And he said, yes. And we get there and sure enough, there's a bridge, plain old regular bridge called the London Bridge. Turns out we were looking for the Tower Bridge.
