Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy Festivus. Whatever you're celebrating, I hope you have a great day and enjoy yourselves again. Fill your hearts and bellies with all the things that matter to to those who may be spending today alone because you're newly separated or for whatever the reasons may be, please take the time to connect with others, reach out to others, and don't stay in any pain. And also recognize that if this is your first or second Christmas alone, it does get easier and that shitty feeling feels less with time. And I also want to remind you to take the opportunity to start creating your own traditions, whether it's in those moments where you are alone or new traditions with and for your kids. This was definitely a challenging process for me, and what changed over the years were those beautiful new moments that I created with my kids and that we continue to enjoy together. And over time, I've come to really appreciate the solitude I get in being able to sleep in on Christmas morning when my kids are at their mom's and we can open gifts later in the day. So there are sulfur linings. It's harder to see at the beginning and in those moments, but it always gets better. Have a great day.
