You. It's only awkward if you make it awkward, right? It's true. It's only awkward if you make it awkward. For example, if my neighbors see me naked or doing weird things in my house, that's on them. That's not on me. If they want to bring it up with me and say, you know what? It'd be nice if you closed your blinds or curtains because we don't want to see. Well, look away. Sorry, Steve, Crystal, Mike, others. But what I want to the point I want to make is about setting, setting boundaries and standards. For example, in creating that time freedom, the intentionality in your day to day life is expressing or communicating your quote unquote service standards for responses to your communication. I I respond two to three times in intentional chunks for all my messages. I don't respond when I get a text, I don't even hear it. I don't have those notifications on my phone because it's too distracting. Remember the whole ADHD thing and wanting to be more productive and that downward spiral. So my rules are a text, you're going to get a response within 24 hours. Facebook messenger, probably 48 hours. WhatsApp, maybe 72 hours. Email probably around the same time. And if you really need to get a hold of me, call me. If I don't answer, it's because my phone's off, because I'm on zoom calls or I have other priorities but leave a message or try back again later. There's, there's telephones. That's how we used to get a hold of each other in in years past. It still works. And a lot of people get upset for my response time with text.
