Are you consuming more content than you're actually producing? Well, if the answer to that is yes, then I'm sure to you that feels good, don't it? Right. It feels good to be informed on knowing what to do and how to do it before you actually do it. But for the potential clients that could be yours, if they knew that you existed, it doesn't feel good. And they're thinking to themselves, man, I wish it was someone out there let's solve this painful problem that I have. And if you are the person who could solve that problem that they have, but you're refusing to do so because you're consuming all this content, all you're doing is hoarding value that can help them become the person who they could be. So in this video, I'm going to share with you why it makes no sense any longer to consume that content and how you can actually start producing it today. Now, I've been fortunate to create over 600 videos in the last 5 years. But before I could get to that point, listen, I wasted 827 days avoiding the camera like an ex-girlfriend. And during that time of procrastinating, wasting time and creating all these excuses, all these excuses, I was watching all these videos. I was watching content on how to create the best YouTube channel, how to have the best setup. How to edit videos properly, how to edit thumbnails creatively so that people could want to watch and click on those videos. I was consuming motivational content and I was treating it— I was treating it like Red Bull that would give me the energy to create that content. But for some reason, every time it was turned, it was time to turn on that camera, that energy wore out and I ain't create no content. Or if I did get a chance to create some content, I treat it like a prisoner in my gallery, never to have the freedom to be seen again. Is this crazy for you? Can you relate to this somehow? Like I said earlier, it feels good to consume all this content because you want to be informed on how to do it the right way. I'm sure you don't want to put out no mess that can devalue your brand and your business. And I understand where you're coming from. But when you're consuming more content to the expense of producing that content, nobody is winning from that decision. The potential clients who could be yours, they're not winning from that decision. Why? Because they don't know that you exist to solve the problem that they have. So they can't become who they can be because you feel like you ain't ready. With you consuming all this knowledge, you're probably consuming contradicting knowledge, right? You're consuming ideas from different people who opinions clash and now it's got you more confused. And now you feel like you need more information on how to do it the right way. Or if you're consuming motivational content, you're relying on that motivation to be that energy that you need to create that content. But then you realize you're not motivated enough, right? Because motivation is like gas in a car. It can only take you so far and it's going to eventually run out. I hope you got a to-go plate because I'm cooking today. Listen, I know what it's like. I told you I wasted 827 days before I got to the chance of posting that first video. That was the start of my own greatness. When you're consuming all this content rather than producing it, you're looking for the permission to be ready. You're looking for the permission to show up as you are and showing up as you are is uncomfortable because you're thinking to yourself, what if someone judged me based on how I show up? What if somebody talk about my expertise and say that I'm not as informed as I should be? What if somebody just disrespect me for no reason? Right. And so in order to avoid that potential judgment, you numb yourself by consuming all this content. You ain't consuming all this content because you just love, love to learn. You're consuming all this content because it feels logical. And I put it in air quotes. It feels logical to not show up. But the fear isn't about the camera. It's about someone seeing you as who you are and deciding you're not enough. And coaches specifically feel this fear inside. Because your expertise is woven into your identity. So if someone questions your knowledge on camera, it feels like they're questioning your worth. But here's the truth. The judgment that you fear is only imaginary because ain't nobody waiting to tear you apart. But somebody is waiting to be helped by you because only you with your expertise your knowledge and your story can be spoken in a way that signals them and can help deliver them from their problem. And the person who would possibly judge you harshly, they was never going to be a client of yours anyway. And that's what I love about social media. Not only does it have the ability to attract the right people, it has the ability to repel the wrong people who wouldn't be a great fit for your business. So every day that you consume rather than you create, you're allowing an imaginary person make real decisions about your business. But more and more people are going to miss out on the value that you can share, on the knowledge that you can use to inform others of how they can become a better version of themselves. And you're going to be stuck with a business that's going to have to continue to rely on cold approaching or stagnant, stale referrals. Why? Because creating content is the greatest marketing vehicle to attract people. Think about it. There are plenty of business owners that are utilizing other platforms to send them customers. All they have to do is show up in a way that will, that will attract them. That could be you. You don't need any more permission from these gurus. On how to build the successful social media presence. You don't need any more motivation to energize you to create that content. You can create content today after this video. And this is how you start. Simply, I've put together a blueprint of the first 3 videos that you can film, and I'll leave with you some instructions on how you can get started easily. You don't need any more information, all right? You just need one decision. That's why this blueprint gives you 3 specific videos to record. And it, it's not because they're perfect, it's because they break that consumption cycle. So the first video is going to make your audience feel seen immediately. The second one is going to break a belief that's keeping them stuck. And the third one is going to help them get a win and is going to position you as the person who delivered it. Your phone is enough. Your background is enough and your knowledge is enough. The only thing missing is for you to make the decision to start producing. In one video, it changes everything because it proves to you that you can do it. Don't allow that to be the excuse that keeps you away from showing up for the people who can benefit from what you have to offer. All right. Don't allow all the excuses that you don't have the right equipment. You don't have the perfect background. You see this background right now? Ain't nothing on this wall except some whiteness. All right. You don't need the perfect background. You don't need the perfect gear. You don't even need to be the perfect person. You just need to be present for the people who will benefit from what you have to say. So click the link down below and record your first video. Will it be uncomfortable? Yes. Will you be nervous? Yes. But once you create it and you upload it, That's when that confidence starts to arrive. That's when you start to get more comfortable on creating content, and that's when you put yourself in a position to attract the people who you could best serve. So this video was valuable for you. I hope you subscribe and like it because I'm just going to do more of it. All right.
