Jason, a coder and agency founder, argues AI extinction means the end of traditional work, not humanity. By 2027-2028, routine tasks will be automated, forcing professionals to master prompting, outsource execution to AI, and develop judgment by comparing multiple models. His agency already automates 60% of operations.

Hey, it's Jason here. I wanted to share an incredibly important idea with you, and I probably could do this video better with slide decks, and maybe I'll make a better video in the future. But here is the basic idea of what I want to get across. You probably saw from the thumbnail I was talking about how AI extinction is going to happen, but I don't talk— I don't mean about the species. I mean about a certain way of thinking. And if we can look at where the world is going, looking at current trajectory, you know, OPUS 4.7 just came out and it is a noticeable improvement already over the previous generation. And if you can just start to think how this will continue into the future, uh, one thing to, to be very aware of is how your role in any work you're doing is about to change. And if you are not adapting to this new technology, it is going to be really hard for you to keep up in 2027, 2028. And that's what I want to share with you. So, you know, a little bit about me. My name is Jason. I have been coding since I was 14, so 15 years ago. and I've also, I'm running a 7-figure marketing agency and I'm using AI to automate more than 60% right now of all aspects of our business. So on our HR, on our service delivery, working with clients, uh, marketing, there is AI and agents that are starting to run everything. Now, what I wanted to talk about in this video again, is this concept that in 2027, we need to change how we start to go about our normal work. So what I wanna get across is, is first of all, you do not need to know how to do anything in the age of AI, which is why you can do everything. Let me explain. Because what we're dealing with here is intelligence, raw intelligence that can be put towards whatever you want. The best skill you can learn is how to ask. If you don't know how to do something, ask it. If you don't know if it's good or not, ask it. You don't know where to start, ask it. If you can get good at doing that, that is the first step. Then comes step number 2, which is incredibly important. You wanna outsource everything as much as possible except your thinking. Your thinking is the most valuable premium resource that you have. And you could argue that this was always true, but execution is starting to become commoditized. The thing that the AI is not good at is being able to abstract itself at a high level and and oversee everything that is going on. And that is the power of, of amazing thinking. And that's where everyone needs to be spending more time. You should ask yourself, what can I, what am I doing that I, that the AI could be doing for me and start to just let the AI do more of these things so that you have more cognitive, cognitive resources to spend on higher-level thinking. And that's where things start to get really interesting and really fun. Because if you know that the AI can do certain tasks, then you can start to think about how multiple different parts of your work play together and different relationships. And it just becomes this game of zooming out. So what I'm trying to do right now in my, in my business and in my work, is I have several different, you know, ideas and projects and things that I'm trying to build. And I'm starting to get to the point where the AI is able to execute these things on its own. And what I need to be better at is planning, planning and thinking long-term about the outcomes that I would like the models to, to create. And That is where I would encourage you to start really spending more time. Even if you start small, even if maybe you think it can't do majority of the things that you're working on right now, try and ask it. That's exactly the point, right? Ask it, what could I be using AI more for in what I'm working on? and I think this comes to the third point, which is, yeah, well, you don't want to just take everything it says at face value. You need to have a strong filter, but a strong filter is built by using the products and using these various different tools, whether it's Gemini, Claude, ChatGPT. You want to be understanding the differences in outputs. So you can start to again, have the best thinking and make your own decisions about what the AI is telling you. That cannot be overstated. Otherwise at that point, you are just a robot. Like if you're just, if you're just doing exactly what it says, then you're just a meat puppet that it's, uh, it's, it's giving its commands to, which is definitely not what you want. But yeah, that's the main concept I wanted to get across. So I'm excited for what's happening in the world right now. And yeah, I feel like everyone is in the same boat because no one knows what's gonna come next in this world. And yeah, we're all alone in a way, but we're alone in this together. So thanks for watching this video, and I'll see you on the next one.
