Welcome. I'm so glad you're here. Please close your eyes and take one breath in, holding it Just exhaling out, decompressing, releasing. Your brain has processed more information today than a human being living 100 years ago would have encountered in an entire month. The emails, the headlines, the social media feeds, the texts, the notifications, the endless stream of other people's words, opinions, emergencies, and updates flowing through your nervous system without pause. We were not built for this volume, and your brain is showing you that right now in the foggy thinking, the shortened attention span, the low-grade irritability, the feeling of being simultaneously overstimulated and completely numb. As you inhale, imagine a dial in your mind. Turning the volume of it all the way down. Just not off, but down to a level your nervous system can actually metabolize. As you exhale, let the information overload drain downward through your body, through your feet, into the ground beneath you where it can be neutralized. You are a human being. You're allowed to go offline. I'm sending you so much love.
