There's a fire inside you you can't ignore. Stand still? Not a chance. You're a lifelong learner who's come this far. Now we are here to help you keep going further. Capella University. What can't you do? Visit capella.edu to learn more.
Take a moment to arrive here, right where you are. Close your eyes and take one slow breath in. And as you exhale, Intent to let everything you've been carrying into this minute completely go. I want to ask you something: when did you last speak to yourself with kindness? When did you last offer yourself the same grace, the same patience, the same gentle understanding that you so freely give to the people you love? Notice for a moment how hard you've been on yourself lately, the inner critic that never rests, the voice that says you should be further along, doing more, handling it better. As you inhale, breathe in softness directed entirely at yourself. Let it move through every place you've been holding yourself to an impossible standard. And as you exhale, Release the harshness, the judgment, the relentless measuring of yourself against everything you think you should be. You are a human being doing your best in a complicated world. That is enough. You are enough. Speak to yourself today the way you would speak to someone you deeply love, because you deserve that love. More than anyone. Be gentle with yourself today. You have earned it. I am sending you so much love.
