Take a long breath in, and as you do, picture someone, a pet or a person, that has shown you love in your lifetime. As you exhale, bring in a smile at that remembrance. As you inhale again, engage more senses— their scent, their voice, a happy memory together. As you exhale, smile again and let that love fill every cell of your body. One last time, inhaling, truly remembering that love and feeling it viscerally. And as you exhale, repeat to yourself, "I am lovable," and feel the calm that brings. Take this calm and love with you. You can always return. I am sending you so much love.
