A guided mindfulness exercise teaches you to listen to your body's signals: place your hands on your heart, notice tension and exhaustion, and ask what your body needs. The episode frames your body as an ally trying to communicate with you.
There's a fire inside you you can't ignore. Stand still? Not a chance. You're a lifelong learner who's come this far. Now we are here to help you keep going further. Capella University. What can't you do? Visit capella.edu to learn more.
Your body speaks through tension, exhaustion, and gut feelings. Most people never slow down long enough to hear it. I'm asking you to slow down now, to open to your body's messages. Close your eyes and place one or both hands on your heart. Your body communicates with you constantly through the tightness that says, "This is too much," through the exhaustion that says, "Please slow down," through the gut feeling that knows before your mind catches up. Most of us have been taught to override these signals, push through, ignore the pain, keep going. As you inhale right now, ask your body one simple question, not with your mind, but with genuine curiosity: What do you need from me today? Don't search for an answer, just breathe in and out and listen. Let whatever arises be welcome. Your body is not your enemy, it is your most loyal ally. And it has been waiting patiently for you to ask. Please remind yourself to continue the conversation your body has been waiting for. I am sending you so much love.
