How To Make Money With NFT's for Beginners | Full Tutorial 2021

In this beginner‑focused tutorial, the presenter walks viewers through the fundamentals of non‑fungible tokens (NFTs) and how to start making money with them. He begins with a simple definition of NFTs as unique, verifiable digital assets, using the analogy of a verified social‑media handle. He explains that NFTs are more than just artwork – they can grant status, community access, and be used in play‑to‑earn games such as Zed Run. The core money‑making methods covered are (1) minting NFTs early at the project’s launch price and later flipping them for profit, and (2) leveraging NFT‑based games that reward players with real earnings. The tutorial then demonstrates how to navigate the primary marketplace OpenSea, interpret listings, floor prices, minting history, and rarity traits. It introduces RarityTools as a research hub for discovering upcoming collections, and outlines a step‑by‑step evaluation framework: check supply, mint price, rarity percentages, community size (Discord members, Twitter followers), engagement metrics, and the project’s roadmap/utility. The presenter stresses the importance of due‑diligence, warning against buying solely on aesthetics or hype. Throughout, he encourages viewers to engage via comments, suggests future video topics, and promises deeper dives into NFT gaming. The video concludes with a recap of the strategy and a motivational note for new traders.

What is goodie, my people? We are back again with another gem, you feel me? Listen, I have been super, super, super excited to start making videos about the whole NFT space as a whole. If you did not watch my last video, I kind of broke down the different altcoins you should be getting into. I broke down my portfolio that I have right now, the coins that I hold right now as well. Go watch that. But in that video, I talked about and asked you guys if you guys wanted me to make a video about NFTs and my whole journey with NFTs, because for the past month or so, I've been studying hours and hours and hours and now hours of studying of NFTs, trying to learn the market, trying to learn how to make money in it, the different avenues of NFTs, what you can do with your NFTs, um, the different— just NFTs as a whole. And I've been very excited to make videos about it. So today I will be making the first video. We're going to go into just a calm little general description or explanation of what NFTs are, as well as how you can get started with them, where you can buy them at, where you can find the new ones that's going to be coming out, how you can tell if one you're going to you're about to buy is going to be profitable in the end, what NFTs can do for all of us in the future. I'm going to get into all of that, so stay tuned. Like the video right now if you're excited for more NFT videos. Also drop in the comments down below any other type of videos you got me— you guys want me to do. If you want me to make some more crypto videos, you guys need to, um, make a video about a certain cryptocurrency you might be holding, a current stock you're holding, um, a website. Honestly, just let me know. I'm a man of many trades, so let me know in the comments down below. What videos you guys want to see next. And without further ado, let's just hop right into this. So if you do not know what NFTs are, like I said, I'm not going to go deep into explaining what NFTs are. I'm just going to go on a surface level. If you need more explanation of what NFTs are, you can literally YouTube it. There's videos all over the freaking place of what NFTs are, explaining it and everything like that. But in simple terms, NFTs— you have to first understand what the heck NFT stands for. It stands for non-fungible tokens, and what that means is basically non-copyable. It's a one-of-one type of thing. It's if you own this NFT, it is yours and it's verified. Gary Vee made a great, great explanation of what NFTs are a little while ago, and he explained it like this. So let's say we all have Instagram, right? Let's say my account— if you want to find me on Instagram, @juver_— but, um, let's say my account, there are a lot of accounts with my name in it. Let's say there's juver, there's juver123, there's juver_0, there's juver with nothing by it. There's Juveer with two zeros instead of the O's. There's a bunch of different versions of Juveer, but let's say, which I don't, let's say I had a verification mark, the blue check mark. Everybody, once everybody sees a blue check mark next to somebody's name on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, whatever it is, they automatically, that whole symbol or that whole icon of the check mark, the verified, automatically values you at a higher level than everybody else with that same name. It sets you apart. It's like, this is the real deal. There can be all these copies, but this one, the verified one, is the real deal. That's technically what it is like for NFTs. Let's say we have a picture, um, let's see an NFT. We have a picture of this remote, right? Let's say this is the picture right here. NFT. This picture can be copied, this picture can be screenshotted, this picture can be Somebody can draw it, somebody could paint it, sketch it, whatever it is, but only one person actually owns that NFT as a whole. So there can be all these copies of it, but to actually own that NFT, you actually have to own the NFT, and you would be the actual person with the verification mark next to that picture. You would be the person with the actual verified first image of that picture of me holding the remote controller. So on a small scale, that's what NFTs are. NFTs go so much deeper than just pictures and just art. They go into NFT games, which I'm going to be getting into as well because I just started actually doing NFT games. I've known about them, but I've started trying them out, and I'm excited to make a video about them. There are a couple different ones you could check out. Um, just for right now, I'll tell you, I'll give you a little example, a quick sneak peek of one of my future videos. Look into Zed Run. I'm really deep into Zed Run right now. It's basically a horse NFTs. But basically, NFTs can work in a lot of different ways. They're not just pictures. A lot of people get stuck at the whole, okay, why is it just a picture of this monkey? Why would somebody pay 5 Ethereum for this? They can be used and they offer you different things. Like, honestly, some of these pictures just offer status symbols. Some of them get you access into some communities. Some of them get you access into some games. Some of them make you money. Some of them people just sell. It's really so much in the whole NFT space. And if I were to take all the time right now to explain everything NFTs can do, this video would be way too long and I'm really not trying to do that. So in short terms, owning an NFT means you own the original verified version of something. Now you might be thinking, how the heck am I gonna make some money with an NFT? With a picture of a turtle or a picture of Josiah Stewart Stewart holding up a game controller. How the heck am I gonna make money on this? How is this considered valuable? How is this going to make me money? You feel me? There are multiple ways actually. Like I already explained, there are NFT games where you need these NFTs to unlock or to get yourself into these games so you're able to start playing these games that make you actual money, real money. Also a big part of making money in the NFT market is flipping and selling these NFTs. So let's say you have an NFT project, you see it, you've been studying it, you've been watching it, you've been waiting for it to release. Let's say you got it at the, the beginning of it when it's the cheapest price, right, before everybody else had it. Now they're, um, the community as a whole of this NFT, for example, let's just say it was a project about turtles, right? Let's say you saw the project coming up, you knew it was going to be big, and you decided you was gonna go and be one of the first people to get this turtle NFT. So you went and got the turtle NFT, then let's say after a week or 2 weeks or a month or a couple days, the project just ended up exploding. There's a whole bunch of buzz around it. There's a whole bunch of clout going around anybody that holds these turtle NFTs, and you happen to hold one in your account right now. Now this picture of a turtle that you were studying and you realized this, or you thought would be pretty valuable. You've held it this entire time. Now you're ready to sell it at a higher profit because now there's clout around it. Now people are wanting this turtle. Now people think that the turtle will go even higher, so they're willing to pay you for them to hold it again for the long run to kind of recycle the whole movement of buying it and flipping for a higher price. A perfect example again of what NFTs are, they're just like collectible items. There's a lot of things that people buy this time and age or this day and age and also tens of years before that people just buy just because they're collectibles. Think of Pokémon cards, think of pennies, think of honestly anything, stamps. People collect these things and to me or to most people in the world, these stamps are worth nothing or these Pokémon cards are worth 90 cents. But to a collector of these Pokémon cards, this Charizard shiny gold, whatever the heck it is, Pokémon card is worth $20,000 to them just because it is collectible. That's the same kind of logic that is used in the whole NFT marketplace with kind of trying to determine what's going to end up being a valuable collectible for people. What are people going to want to collect? So I'm going to go into my little strategy on how I find NFTs that are upcoming projects of NFTs that I can go through and study and see if I want to be a part of that project, get in early so I can end up flipping it for a profit in the later end of it. So let's just hop right in. I'm gonna show you guys a quick little strategy, how to get into it, how to even find NFTs, how to know what the heck you're looking at, and all that different type of stuff. So here we are on OpenSea. This OpenSea market right here is opensea.io. This is going to be like your main shop for NFTs on the Ethereum blockchain. Um, now there are different blockchains, of course. If you, if you watch my video I put out, um, my most recent video I put out about Solana, ADA, Cardano, Ethereum, there are all different blockchains. And all these different blockchains have different NFT projects on them. They're all these NFT projects built off those blockchains. But OpenSea is mostly Ethereum. So if you are going to be, um, buying NFTs with Ethereum This is the website you're going to want to come to, opensea.com. There are a lot of things you could do on here. It kind of breaks down a lot of it just on this website itself. If you go to marketplace, you can click all NFTs and it'll kind of just go through all these, um, different NFTs. They'll kind of show you the price of them, people are selling them at. Um, also if you click into them, you find a good example, if you click into them, you can see the offers that it has of the NFT. So say you're trying to buy a certain NFT, let's say I wanted to buy this one, and I see, okay, 3 days ago it had a price offer of 0.18 Ethereum, then 16 hours ago it had the same price offer, then 7 days ago, well, this is the expiration, but, and then it had a price offer of 2.7 Ethereum. You can also see down here the trading history of it. You can see it was minted, and minted basically means you were the first person to get it. At the beginning of these projects, a lot of these companies will, have a limited amount of these collectible NFTs made. So it's always a finite number. It's always, yeah, I don't believe I've ever seen any NFT with an unlimited amount of NFTs to be minted. But most of them is between any, it could be anywhere between 1,000 to 10,000 or 15,000, 20,000. It's really all up to the projects. Most of them stay around the 10,000 inventory, I guess you could use that word. But they have 10,000 of them made, and that's gonna be circulating through the entire world up until whenever the heck. But that's basically what minting is. That means you're one of the first people to get it, and anything after minting is you're buying it from the marketplace, you're buying it from other people. But when you're minting it, you're buying it directly from the project itself. So that's why it says here minted, then it has a couple of transfers, then it has a sale right here. It says from him to him, And it has transfers, transfers, transfers. So if you come in OpenSea, you can see a lot of data itself already just on the actual NFTs themselves. You can go through all these different, um, projects. You can see the description of them. You can see the properties. It also breaks down here the percentage of the certain traits that each NFT has. So if we go to every single— every single NFT is not the same. So say this is the project about this Crumbies Bakery. Um, let's see if this is a good example. They're all basically under the same NFT project, but there's different variations of them, which make them more rare versus less rare. It's the same type of logic with the Pokémon cards. Like a regular Pikachu card is pretty common. Let's say 100 people have a Pikachu card, but only 1 person has a Charizard card. That Charizard card is gonna be way more valuable than the 100 Pikachu cards, just because it's so limited in number and just 'cause it's so rare. So it's the same type of concept with NFTs. So let's say, let's just, sort this from high to low. I'm just trying to give a good example. So let's say this one right here. This one looks insanely different from all the other ones. So all these top ones right here look crazy different. And if we were to go from price, um, low to high, these all look pretty basic right here. They just all look like regular gingerbread people versus high to low. So the more rare or the more, um, yeah, the more rare or limited the NFT you have, it could be from the same collection, but if you have a more rare version of that item from the collection, it'll be worth more. Like they're selling these for 500. Well, that's what they have it on the market for, 500 Ethereum, which I doubt anybody's gonna pay for that. But what I was saying about the properties is down here it says only 0.15% of the entire collection. It could have been 10,000 people in the whole Crumby Bakery collection, but only 1.5% of the Crumbie thingies, these right here, have this spooky bamboo background. I guess that's what that is. Then the Chocolate Samurai face, only 0.15% have the Golden Samurai, all the same type of stuff. So that's basically just how you see a quick breakdown of each NFT. Now you might be asking me, okay, I see it on OpenSea, but this is— this marketplace is from person to person. This isn't from project to person. I told you guys about minting. You guys are probably wondering, how can I be the first person to buy this so I don't have to pay the same prices? Because usually once it's on OpenSea, it is now people trying to make money off their initial purchase. So let's say they minted a certain, um, NFT. Let's go with the whole— um, no, let's go with the whole turtle. And if you say we minted a turtle at NFT NFT for 0.04 Ethereum. Now I held it for about a week and I wanna make a profit on it. I wanna sell it for 0.08 Ethereum. I would then put it on OpenSea and try and find a buyer, an actual person to buy my NFT. Even though I had bought it directly from the project itself, directly from the source, and I got it at the lowest price possible. So I'm gonna show you guys how you can find upcoming projects so you can be on the waitlist or you can be right there refreshing your page, when these new NFTs are about to drop. So if we come to this website right here, Rarity Tools, this is personally what I use as a whole. This, honestly, when I first went on the website, I first heard about the website, I was like, this looks very like old. Like this, it's just like an old version of a website. It doesn't look that new age, but it's very simple if you get just familiar with it. Honestly, I only use a couple tabs in this whole website itself. If you look up here, we have the All Collections. If you don't know, CryptoPunks is the biggest, um, crypto NFT collection on the market right now. A lot of them are selling for a very, very high price. If we go to OpenSea and type in CryptoPunks, the floor price is, uh, it's— let's just see price low to high, or most— no, price low to high. But usually you'll have the floor price right here, which basically means the lowest price that they're selling for, they're going for right now. Um, but this is the lowest price right here, 33 Ethereum, which comes out to $109,000. So that's the minimum you can pay to get in, to get yourself a CryptoPunk. And it goes all the way up to, to very, very, very, very high. I don't even know how high it goes. This one just sold for 90 Ethereum. This one just sold for 89 Ethereum. This one just sold for basically 100 Ethereum. It's— CryptoPunks is just the biggest, um, collection out right now. Then of course there's Bored Ape Yacht Club, New and 8 Yacht Club. The, the trick is to get into these collections way before they've blown up. It's kind of like getting into a cryptocurrency way before it blows up. Let's say you got into Dogecoin when it was at 0.00000003 cents. You— it's much better to get into that than to buy Dogecoin at 20 cents, 30 cents, whatever it is. So the, the key is to find them before they blow up, and this is how I personally do it. I'll come right into here. Of course it has the new, um tab right here and shows you all the new ones that have like just been released. Um, Doge Pirates, um, they have their own collection here. I'm not actually familiar with it, I was just clicking it for an example. Um, and any of these entities I show you guys throughout this, this video, I don't recommend you go buy it. Um, you can of course go look at it, see if you're interested in it, see if you personally believe in the project itself, if you believe in the backing of it, the developers, all that different type of stuff. But if I show an NFT in here, do not just go and buy it because honestly you shouldn't just go and buy anything just because anybody says. Even if I say go to buy, go buy Bitcoin at 20 cents, you should not do it. You gotta do your own research in it before you ever end up investing your money, your hard-earned money into anything. But like I was saying, this is how, where I come to come find out about new projects that are going to be coming out soon. I just click upcoming here The first couple ones are always the featured ones. I believe they, it's just they get featured up here just like so they're in everybody's faces. And it'll tell you the name of the project right here. It'll tell you the description of right here, have all their links right here, which is very, very, very important. I'll get to that in a second. It tells you this price and supply, which they're minting these, these, the price right here means this is the minting price. This is the price to get it directly from the project itself. It tells you when they're going to be able to be minted. This one is Wednesday, September 15th. So I will literally come through here, I will look for different projects that interest me. Now it can be different for everybody. Some people look for cool graphics, some people say, oh, this is a cool graphic. Some people say, oh, this is stupid, I wouldn't buy that. Some people say, oh, this is really cool, I want this. Some people say, this is I personally do not just go off of artwork. I do— I would rather buy NFTs that look cool versus getting an NFT that is just like, um, ugly. I'm trying to find a good example of one that's just like super, super ugly. Like, this looks very cool. This looks very cool to me. I've actually heard about this project before. I might make a video about it. I've heard of this project. I want to research this more. But, um, like I was saying, when you're coming on here looking at or trying to find different NFT projects that you're interested in getting into, you of course want to see what it looks like, if you're— if it's appealing to you. But these social media links right here are really what you want to pay attention to. All of these collections, like I said, compare it to Pokémon cards. Pokémon would be nothing if it didn't have a community of people that wanted Pokémon cards. Pokémon cards, they look cool, of course, but if there was not millions of people that loved Pokemon and millions of people that wanted to collect Pokemon cards, all these cards would be worth absolutely nothing. So you need to make sure when you're studying these NFT projects that they have a community, a strong community, and a good-sized community of people that are actually interested in the project itself. So what I do personally, they always have Discord and they always have Twitter. I would personally go to their Twitter, I would see how many followers they have. 6,000 is a pretty good number. I think anything over 5,000 followers is pretty good. Also, you're going to want to go through and look at all of their— see how active they are on social media. This was posted 6 hours ago, this post September 3rd, this post 16 hours ago. Um, and you also want to pay attention to the engagement. You want to see how many, um, retweets they get, how many likes, how many comments. You want to pay attention to the whole engagement as a whole of all their social media accounts because a lot of these NFT people can end up buying fake followers just to make it look look like they're lit or there's a whole community around them, but make sure you go into the actual comments, go into the, just seeing the engagement as a whole, just to make sure there's a genuine community around these NFT projects. 'Cause you do not wanna be the only person buying an NFT because just 'cause it looks cool, just 'cause it looks cool, it does not mean it's gonna make you money. So you wanna make sure there's a community of people out there that are waiting to buy it. And once it goes out, once it gets minted, there will also be a community of people that want to buy it after it's minted by above the mint price. Um, so then like I said, obviously click the Twitter, the Discord as well. Go into the Discord, but this Discord right here has 20,000 members of the Gelbirds. Um, so there's 20,000 people inside of Discord for this NFT project Gelbirds, which is pretty great as well. I think anything over 5,000 people on Discord and 5,000 people on Twitter is a good start. Of course, the more the merrier. And like I said, open up the Discord, go into the Discord, see what people are talking about, see if the community is very engaged, see if, um, they're excited about this project. And especially as the time comes closer to minting and stuff like that, let's say, um, it's minting on the— these already minted, but, um, say it's the 10th. So let's say a project is minting on the 11th, go into the Discord, see if people are hyped about it minting tomorrow. And then an hour before it's minting, see if people are hyped about it minting in an hour. Just make sure the community is actually legitimately, um, interested in the project and like excited about the project. Another great thing, or another key thing you need to keep in mind when you're looking at NFTs, is Of course, there are some NFTs that do absolutely nothing. They just look cool, like CryptoPunks. It really has no, um, value behind it besides the fact that it's just like the biggest one now, um, and they just look cool. A lot of people use them as their Twitter profile pictures or their Instagram profile pictures, whatever it is, and it's just like a status symbol. But a lot of these NFT projects, they, um, well, some of them actually have stuff backing them. Like I told you guys before, before about Zed Run, you could buy NFT on OpenSea for Zed Run and you buy these horses. I'm not sure why it's not popping up. Uh, okay, let's just say this. Um, you buy these horses and these horses, I mean, they look cool, but there's not like nothing crazy. They're all just really different colors. Um, but they're able to be used inside an actual game. The Zed Run is an actual game where you can breed your horses, you can race your horses, and make actual money off of these different things. So, um, what you want to make sure you're paying attention to in these NFT projects, you want to go to their website, of course. Um, I don't even think I said that. I should have said that. Definitely, you want to go to their website, you want to see what their plan is as a whole of an NFT project. Um, I did not mean to press that. You want to read up about them. What, what are they actually going to use these NFTs for? The Samurai Wars is the story of war between 5 clans for the control of, um, Shogunate. I don't even know what the heck that's saying. A total of 7,700 each unique samurai are summoned. I don't know this project at all, I just randomly clicked one. But you want to go to it and see what these projects have in store. A lot of them will have like a plan of what they plan on doing with them as a whole, the roadmap, that's what they call it. And it'll break down their different goals with the NFT. You want to make sure you're investing in an NFT project that's actually doing something. It's not just a cool picture, it's not just some cool colors. Make sure it's actually doing something, it has some usability in it. That's why I believe so heavily that the NFT gaming marketplace and the whole NFT gaming community as a whole is going to be so big in a couple of years, just due to the fact that it's actually, it's merging crypto with real world stuff because you can make real money off of these NFTs. You can make real profit off of these NFTs. You can make real profit off of just playing these certain games that they have. So if you're looking to get into an NFT, I'm gonna break it down real quick. This is just a quick little run back, you feel me? Because I made this video too long. I did not want this video to be this long. If you're still here, make sure you like the video. Let me know in the comments down below. Drop a grape emoji right now in the comments down below if you're still reading this. Or if you're still watching this, but you're gonna want to go to raritytools.com. You want to go to upcoming. You're gonna look at all of these designs. You'll say, okay, these all look cool, but what do they have to offer? It's like you're getting a girl, right? And a girl could look nice, but she has no personality, she's worthless. You feel me? But so if these all look nice, they have nothing behind them, they're worthless. That's how we think about them. You feel me? Not that any female is worthless. But it's just, you know what the heck I'm saying, man. But you want to go to the Discord, make sure they're active, make sure they have a whole bunch of members that are actually excited about the program— or about the— I keep saying the program— the project. You're also gonna want to go to their Twitter, make sure they're active on there as well and everybody's excited about that as well. And then lastly, go to their website and make sure the project is actually doing something. It has a plan, the developers behind it have a goal that they want to reach, whether it be a game, whether it be a community that you get added to if you have this NFT, whether it be other NFTs that you get access to if you hold this NFT. It could be a bunch of different things, but make sure it's not just a picture, because those are very, very, very, very, very hard to profit off. Just a cool-looking picture— picker— cool-looking picture. But that's the end of the video. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Hope you guys were able to learn something. I did not mean to make this video this long. But I wanted to put as much information into this video as I could, because I remember when I first started learning about NFTs, nobody told me what the heck minting was. Nobody told me where to find these new projects before they went out to the public. Nobody was telling me, nobody was making any of this clear. So I hope I made it clear. I hope I was able to break it down for you guys. And I'm just excited about the whole NFT space as a whole. I'm excited about the NFT games. I will be making a video about Zed Run. Kind of explaining how much you can make, how you can make money using Zen Run, and a bunch of different other NFT games as well. So like the video for more NFT videos. And, um, yeah, that's the end of the video. Hope you guys enjoyed it. Good luck on all your trades.
