Is This The End of Crypto Currency (China Banned It)

In this impassioned vlog, the creator wakes up to discover his cryptocurrency portfolio has plummeted by roughly 30% overnight, prompting panic and a frantic search for explanations. He recounts his routine of checking multiple apps, the emotional impact of the loss, and his initial attempts to find solace on Twitter, which only offered memes and hype. The narrative then shifts to an investigation of the root cause, focusing on recent Chinese regulatory actions that banned businesses and institutions from dealing with cryptocurrencies and warned investors to be cautious. He speculates that China may be trying to undermine existing decentralized assets to pave the way for a state‑controlled digital currency, contrasting this with the core ethos of crypto. Despite the severe dip, he argues that the market correction is not the end of cryptocurrency, citing long‑term growth potential, especially for assets like Ethereum, and urges viewers to HODL or even buy more. Throughout, he repeatedly emphasizes that he is not a financial advisor, includes a disclaimer, and promotes a Webull referral offering free stocks for new sign‑ups. The video blends personal anecdote, market analysis, geopolitical speculation, motivational advice, and affiliate marketing.

I've never wanted to cry so hard, so much. I've never shot a video this early in the morning. It's around 7 o'clock in the morning. I literally just woke up probably an hour ago and I checked my phone and instantly my heart just stopped beating. I was— and it's not like the good stop beating where it's like, oh my god, something great happened. My portfolio was butchered, man. So apparently everybody thinks cryptocurrency is dead now. So let me take you all back, right? Last night, it was a great night, you feel me? Had a great dinner. I watched some nice TV while I ate my food, got ready to go to sleep, checked my phone before I went to sleep, you feel me? Check my portfolio like I always do, you know, a little refresh on Coinbase, a little refresh on Exodus, Trust Wallet. Webull, all that, you feel me? A little refresh, you feel me? Just to make sure everything's good. Everything was not good, okay? My portfolio was down, I believe when I refreshed it last night, it was down 8% total, which is a lot. It might not seem like a lot to y'all, but it's a lot. And what I'm about to tell y'all is even worse because I went to sleep, I was like, boom, okay, it's down a little bit. Usually in the morning times, right? Don't mind why I'm wearing these glasses. I put them on when never like my eyes look tired like right now when I just wake up, so people don't talk about my eyes, but I took them off. So I do have some good news for you guys though. If you want to make some money real quick, all you gotta do is sign up with Webull, first link inside description. If you sign up and deposit $100, you get 2 free stocks right up to $1,400. So you can at least have somewhat of a good day. But anyways, I went to sleep, so I'm like, okay, most of the time in the mornings crypto was down. Like when I wake up at 6, 7 o'clock, crypto is at its lowest. Then usually throughout the day it goes higher and higher, um, whatever it is. It just starts up on its lowest early in the mornings, but I've noticed, right? But before we get to the video, I'm not your friend— I mean, I'm not your friend, we're best friends actually. I'm just not your financial advisor. I'm not a CPA. This is not financial advice. We're just friends having a conversation, you feel me? Yes sir. But in the morning times, like I said, usually crypto is down when I'm awake is usually when it's at its lowest point, then through the day it goes up higher. So I'm like, okay, maybe it's just starting a little, the little downtrend a little early, because I want to see probably like 12, 1 o'clock, something like that. So it's like, maybe it's just having a little downtrend early in the morning. So I'm like, boom, I'm not thinking nothing of it. I'm not stressing, I'm not staying up, you feel me? I'm not staying up to see what the market's doing, none of that, you feel me? That was a mistake. I told y'all my portfolio was down 8% last night. I woke up this morning Prayed, read my Bible, meditated, all that. Checked my phone. My portfolio was down 23%. You know, I don't— 23%. Do y'all understand how much that is? While I'm sleeping, I lost thousands, tens of thousands of dollars sleeping. Sleeping. I thought it was messed up. I thought my phone was glitching. I thought I've been hacked, to be honest. I was checking my emails like, who hacked into my account, sent all my crypto out? Where's my money at? Feel me? And then I realized I didn't get hacked. The market was dying, and I'm feeling like KSI at this point. What the fuck? I don't know what the fuck I got. Fuck! Stop screaming! Stop! So as any educated crypto person or stock per— any educated person, honestly, when something's going wrong, what do we do? We run to Twitter, and Twitter wasn't helping me. It was full of freaking memes. It was full of hold the line, was full of HODL memes, it was full of buy the dip, and when you buy the dip, the dipper gets dipper. It's a bunch of memes. It's not helping me. I'm confused. So I go into smart Josiah mode, you feel me? And I start digging deeper into what has caused it to dip, because there are certain times when a cryptocurrency will dip And it'll be like, okay, let's say Bitcoin dips. There was some news about Bitcoin that went out that was bad, so Bitcoin dips, but the whole market is down 20— let me check— the whole market is down 29% right now. So everything's down. It's not just Bitcoin. It's not like some news came out about Ethereum or some news came about Chainlink that made that coin drop down. Every single freaking coin is down. I do not see any green on my portfolio on none of my apps. Do you know how that feels? I'm just looking, I'm scrolling through all the cryptocurrencies that I have, right? I don't see a green number. It's all red. It's literally all red. I'm at this point, I'm mad. I'm upset. You feel me? I'm like, what the heck is going on? So like I said, big brain energy time. You feel me? I put on the glasses, I start studying, I start looking into things. So apparently China has put out a ban on businesses and cryptocurrencies from from— I mean, not cryptocurrency. They put a ban out. They might as well have put a ban on freaking cryptocurrencies. My account down 30% with the whole market down 30%. Crazy. But they put out a ban on businesses and institutions from doing any business with cryptocurrencies. Um, they also put an advisement or advised people to not— to be careful. Not— they didn't say not. They said to be careful in investing in cryptocurrency because it's fluctuating, which is understandable. It's understandable. You have to be safe when you're investing in crypto. But what I'm confused about— China, right? So if you watch my video on— I'm about to get real smart with y'all. You already see the way I turned my seat like this, my glasses came down a little lower. I'm about to get real technical with y'all, right? So if you watch my cryptocurrency video, I explained what was, um, what cryptocurrency was, how it was unregulated, how it was decentralized, how it was just completely its individual, it's its own island, you feel me? What I'm not understanding is literally, um, last month, I believe it was April 6th, China's, um, one of China's lead banking people has suggested that they put out a cryptocurrency of their own. Like China, because China wants to have its own cryptocurrency. So what I'm thinking right now, this is the big brain energy talking, is China is doing all this, they want to discredit Bitcoin, Ethereum, all these other cryptocurrencies so that they can push their cryptocurrency. But that's not the point of cryptocurrency, is for it to be unregulated, away from the government, completely decentralized, so it's not controlled by a specific entity. But if China makes its own cryptocurrency, right, they would be the ones regulating it. It would just be like another US dollar, or what is the dollar for China? Alexa, what type of dollar does China use? According to an Alexa Answers contributor, CNY which is called renminbi in China, and its unit is yuan. Did that answer your question? I think so, but you gave me like 3 answers, but it's okay. Bye, Alexa. Thanks for your feedback. Yen? Is that it? Chen? It's something. It's just not the US dollar, but they're basically— that's basically like creating just another US dollar because they're going to be the ones controlling it. It's not going to be decentralized, not going to be unregulated at all. It's literally going to be another freaking dollar, and I don't understand that. So that's what some people are saying the reason for this drop is. Um, is this the end of crypto? Do I believe this is the end of crypto? Okay, so let's say China completely bans cryptocurrency, right? That would completely suck. Do I think cryptocurrency can survive? Well, China has banned a lot of other things like gambling, uh, fireworks, um The Bible— they can't sell the Bible online, or so I've heard. I don't know if it's true, I don't live in China, but I've heard they cannot— like, online sales of the Bible is— they can't sell it online. I don't know why, but if all this is banned in China and God is still real and people still popping fireworks and making million dollars off of fireworks and gamblers still losing billions of dollars, then why can't cryptocurrency survive, you know? No, but in all seriousness, I do not believe this is the end of cryptocurrency. Currency at all. This is a nice little retracement. Honestly, if you think about it, we low-key did need it because Ethereum's up freaking 1,100% this year. There had to have been a time where it dropped down. I think today is down 30%, something like that. So taking 30% off of an 1,100%, um, percent increase is kind of expected, but it does still suck. I'm not gonna hold y'all— it still is kind of scary, but it's not because you have to realize in the long term cryptocurrency is the future. Like I said, this Not financial advice. If you want to sell, go ahead and sell. But if you don't want to sell and make some real money, hodl it, man, hodl it. But cryptocurrency is the future in my beliefs. I doubt China will ban it completely and totally. It's kind of hard to ban something that is decentralized and underwrite— it's really hard to ban something like that because there's so many ways around that. Because the only way they would be able to ban it is like putting a firewall on every single person's computer or some extra thing that China is probably not going to do. So I doubt this is the end of cryptocurrency. It's a little retracement, I guess. Well, a big retracement, I guess. But I do not believe this is the end. So you know what we're gonna do, right? Well, what I'm gonna do— I don't know what you're gonna do, but I'm gonna buy more, my guy. Let me know what y'all think inside the comments down below.
