This Is The Real Secret to My Day Trading Success

Josiah Stewart says the secret to day trading profit is trading less, not more. He spends ten minutes marking zones and setting alerts, then steps away until a signal hits, avoiding the dopamine rush that makes most traders overtrade. A few high-quality setups per week beats constant screen time.

Wait, wait, before we get into the video, I have opened up more spots for my inner circle. If you guys do not know what my inner circle is, it's the most valuable thing you can possibly ever have, you know what I'm saying? In my inner circle, not only do you get access to all of my courses, my custom trading indicator, but you also get access to me personally. You get access to all of my trades. I'm live every single morning during the live sessions. We're trading, I'm answering questions. If during the live session there isn't a setup, I send the setups out no matter when with my entry, exit, and all the specific points. So you guys get access to all of my trades. You guys get access to me personally. Like I said, I'll handhold you one-on-one and walk you through the entire process of trading, whether you're a beginner or more advanced. I will handhold you through the entire process so you can become profitable as soon as possible. So I highly suggest you guys click the link down below. It'll be the first link down below to get, um, involved inside the inner circle. It's not a lot of spots. Every single time I make a YouTube video, it literally gets booked up and sold out. So I highly suggest you go down there and see if there's spots left. But yeah, without further ado, let's hop into this video. All right, so honestly, y'all, I'm not gonna lie to you. I don't know why I have never talked about this before on YouTube. I've talked about it a bunch of times on my inner circle. I've talked to it with the people that I'm one-on-one training. I've talked about it to all them, but I don't know why I haven't made a YouTube video. Maybe this is the secret that you've been been needing or you've been missing for your entire trading career. That's why you're not as profitable as you want to be, right? So basically, my secret is I don't trade. I barely, barely trade. People come to me and ask me all the time, um, how many hours you trade per day, how many trades you take per day, um, are you taking 20 trades a day, like what— like they ask me my secret, my strategy, everything. And I tell people I barely trade. I barely look at the charts at all. I'm gonna tell you guys exactly how I'm able to do that and make a whole bunch of money and not give it back to the markets. Just keep watching through the video. But realistically, I think day traders have this persona in their head that they feel like they have to trade every day. If they don't trade every day, they are not a day trader. They're failing or they're losing out on money. When in reality, that is the complete opposite of what actually happens when you are very selective with the trades that you take. So just starting off, realistically, just think about it, right? In the world— and I know why people kind of have that whole, um, persona, the more you trade, the more money you make— because in the world, when we have jobs, the more hours we put in, the more money we make. The more work we do, the more money we make, the more we get paid, right? But in day trading, it's completely the opposite. We're not trading based on— we're not making money based off the amount of trades that we take or the amount of time that we spend trading. And I think that's what gets people kind of messed up and psyched up. And also there's another side of it where people end up loving, loving trading, right? I never say anybody really loves trading because trading is a very, very stressful, um, job. I wouldn't say that I love trading. I love that I'm able to trade. I definitely love it now how I'm, um, the way I trade personally versus 2, 3, 4 years ago how I was trading, because it's a lot less stressful what I do now. And I'm going to show you guys exactly what I I do now. But, um, people don't love trading, they love the effect of trading. Trading, as soon as you press buy or sell, you get that dopamine hit instantly. You get that dopamine hit, your heart starts racing, you're like, oh my gosh, you don't even know if you're about to win or lose, you're just happy that you press buy or sell. And that's what a lot of people, especially newer people when it comes to trading, they just love that little dopamine hit that they get when they press buy or sell. They're looking for that opportunity as many times as they can. I say this all the time, it's kind of, traders are, I wouldn't even, a lot of people say traders are like gamblers. To me, they're not like gamblers. Traders to me are like fricking crackheads. You know what I'm saying? They trade one time, they make a little bit of money, they're hooked. And they just wanna keep pressing buy, sell, buy, sell, buy, sell as many times as possible, right? Because they, it's, people get addicted to trading and that's very, very dangerous when you get addicted to trading. And the way you know that you're addicted to trading is that you don't stop looking at the charts. You're always looking for a setup. You're always looking for an opportunity to press buy or sell so you can feel that dopamine hit. You can feel your heart start racing. You can feel all those emotional and mental effects that comes with trading. That's why I say nobody's really in love with trading. They're in love with the side effects of it. Not side effects, you guys know what I mean. Like what it does for you when you press buy or sell. And I'm obviously, I can speak from experience 'cause I still, get that same feeling. It's just I don't let that addiction— I'm saying addiction is kind of like a strong word, I ain't gonna lie to you— but I don't let that addiction, for lack of better terms, force me to want to trade. When you want to trade, you start end up looking for stupid setups, setups that make you lose money. This is exactly how I trade. This is my setup right now. This is my secret strategy, my secret sauce. I literally look at the markets for about 10 minutes at pre-market. Around, um, well, I'm in Dubai right now. I've been in Dubai for a couple months now, so for me it's at around like 5:30 PM out here, which is like 30 minutes before a New York session starts in America and all that, right? Um, so I look at the charts for literally like 10 minutes. I mark up my zones, I, I mark up my lines, I mark up my support and resistance, I mark up my breakout zones, whatever setups I'm personally looking at. If I see the market is bearish overall or bullish overall I'm looking for only buy setups during bullish markets. I'm looking for only bear setups or sell setups in bearish markets, right? So I'm setting up my zones, my horizontal lines, my boxes, my trend lines, all of that. Any setup that I want to trade, whether I mostly trade support and resistance and breakouts. So any of those setups, I put those setups up, I draw them out on my chart, I set alerts., and then I get off the charts. I'm saying that's the beautiful thing about TradingView, um, or any real platform that you have, any platform that you use to kind of mark up your charts. I'm pretty sure it has an alert feature in it, and what that alert feature does is I put my alerts like right— let's say I'm looking for resistance zone right here, right? And I want to sell off resistance zone. I put my alert right down here so when it starts coming close to my box, I'll get a notification on my phone. I'll go to my computer, wait about 10-15 minutes for an entry hop into the trade, wait for it to hit my take profit or stop loss. Only time I'm sitting at my computer is when I'm actually trying to record the trade for YouTube, and I'm not recording all my trades for YouTube, you know what I'm saying? Or if I'm obviously live trading with my inner circle and stuff like that, I'm sitting down watching the charts. But realistically, I mark my charts for 10 minutes, set alerts at all of my points of interest— that's what I call them— whether it's a support zone, breakout zone, whatever it is, right? I set an alert close to any of my points of interest so that I can get back to my computer, get on my phone, whatever, so I can actually wait for my entry signal and then hop into the trade and I go about my day. You know what I'm saying? I'm not sitting there looking at the charts waiting for setups because what that does is something extremely dangerous. Let's say with that same example, I'm looking for a resistance setup with a sell-off here. Let's say price is down here right now. I see it make a little double top or something and I'm looking for a breakout right here, right? Well, then I start looking for a breakout here because I'm, I'm watching the chart 24/7 just waiting for something to happen so I can press buy or sell, right? My setup is up here, but I'll start making up setups in the middle of my setups, my setups that I actually want. I have a zone here, zone here, price is in the middle, right? In the middle of it, I'm gonna try and think about, let me see if I can catch a breakout to the upside to then sell off that resistance zone I was talking about, my, my keep my point of interest zone up here., right? You start making up setups that are not your original setup, and those setups are never, ever A+ setups. And that's what I preach about all the time, taking those A+ setups. Because if you think about it, if you guys go through your stats right now, your trading stats right now, and look at your P&L and relinquish all the losses you had and just look at all the profits you had, it's probably a very, very good number. It's probably a great, a great amount of money that you've made profit from the markets.. But then obviously you have to factor in the amount of money that you've given back to the markets. And that's what makes a lot of people unprofitable. It's not the fact that they can't make money in the markets, it's that they keep giving it back to the freaking markets. You know what I'm saying? And it's their— most of the time they're always giving it back to the markets in a way of not taking A+ setups. They make their money with the A+ setups and they want to trade again. So they end up taking some foolishness type of trade and end up giving all the money back to the markets and then revenge trading and then losing more. It's just a spiral effect. Versus if you just stuck to what I say. You draw your points of interest, put an alert right by it, close your laptop, wait to get the alert on your phone, you know what I'm saying? Hop into the trade when you get that entry signal, when it tapped into your zone, obviously a point of interest or your breakout, whatever you're looking for, right? Then hop into the trade, set your stop loss, take profit, and let it ride out, you know what I'm saying? It's way less stressful doing it that way, way less time consuming, because you have to think about it, everybody you included, got into day trading to have financial freedom, make an unlimited amount of money, location freedom, be able to do it from anywhere in the entire world. I told you I've been in Dubai for the past 2 months, and I've been making way more money than I was making back home. Well, I don't say way more, but I'm making more money than I was making back home. I can do it from anywhere in the world. I have that location freedom and time freedom. I can do it whenever the heck I want to do it. And like I said, it takes me max like 40 minutes throughout my entire day to trade because I'm just waiting for my setups, pressing buy or sell, letting my setups play out, you know what I'm saying? And a lot of people end up giving away that time freedom because they sit and look at the charts because they're addicted to press buy and sell. They're addicted to that, that emotion that they get from pressing buy or sell. And that's why you're losing all your money. That's why you're not— it's not clicking for you. That's why you're not profitable yet, because you're too addicted to trading. Don't let trading be what it's, it's, it's meant to be, which is, like I said, to give you those 3 kinds of freedom: time, location, and financial freedom. Do not spend all your day sitting at the charts saying you can't go out with your wife or your daughter or take your mom out to dinner or something like that because you have to look at the charts. That doesn't make sense, you know what I'm saying? You're giving away the very thing that you wanted to day trade for in order to day trade. Like, it doesn't make sense when you realistically think about it. And if you take this video seriously and implement what I'm telling you guys about not spending all your days and hours and minutes on the charts, I guarantee you, you will be able to consistently make way more money than you were making before and not give away all the money that you've previously been giving away to the markets. I feel like I went on just a huge little tear right now, just, just screaming a bunch of stuff at y'all, but hopefully y'all understand exactly what I'm saying and you're able to implement my secret strategy into your trading day. It only will help you. It will only save you time. It'll only save you stress. It'll only make you more money and save you from giving all your money back to the markets. It will only create positive benefits to you. You also have to realize, like I was saying before, most people think the more they trade, the more money they make. I used to think that too. I'm not saying that I never thought that. Like, I probably still thought that a year, a year and a half ago. Right? But what I've realized is that I can take 3 trades a week and double my contract size or my lot size because I'm taking A+ setups and make more money than I'm making trading 10 times a day or taking 5 trades a day. You know what I'm saying? It doesn't make sense to stress 5 times throughout the day during a trade rather than 3 times out of the week for my A+ setups that I'm way more confident in, that I can let ride out to my TP zones and let um, go to all my, my, my full TP, you know what I'm saying, without stressing about it, it changing in a bunch of different small factors inside the trade because it's an A+ setup, you know what I'm saying. But that is the end of the video. I really hope that you guys understand the value that I just dropped on you guys, like the amount of money that this will be able to save you, the amount of time this will be able to save you. You don't have to look at your charts 20 hours a day just so you can be a profitable trader. That's not what profitable traders do. I want you to look at any profitable trader right now, look at any profitable trader Go to their Instagram account, click on their story. Is any of them sitting here posting, I'm on the charts still looking for a setup? No, they're out buying freaking Lamborghinis, going to the golf course, um, going to restaurants all day long. You guys never see profitable day traders sitting at their chart 24/7. Never. If you know one, tell me, because I'll probably be able to expose them and say they're not actually trading. They probably— I don't know. I don't know, you know what I'm saying? But anyways, hope you guys enjoyed the video. If you guys did, I hope you guys smash the like button. I'd appreciate if you guys subscribed already. And like I said in the beginning of the video, I opened up more spots for my inner circle. Like I said, they never last. People think I do like a marketing gimmick to say that it's a limited amount of spots. This is not a marketing gimmick. This is literally something legit. Like, it closes down, there's no more spots. You can literally probably find people inside the comments right now that's like, oh, it's all out of spots, we're not even gonna open up spots. 'Cause I don't let everybody in, 'cause it has to be intimate. Like I said, it's a whole hand-holding and one-on-one kind of thing, and I can't be hand-holding 100,000 people a month. Like, that's just physically impossible. But if that is something that interests y'all, and y'all wanna get all my trades, and get all my courses, you wanna get access to me one-on-one, and I'll teach you everything that I know about trading, to be able to personally help you in your day trading, click the link down below. But honestly, if you guys found value in this video, I know you guys will find value in this video right here. Watch that one all the way through, through all the way to the end, and pair it with this knowledge in this video, and I promise you, you will never struggle again with, um, making money day trading.
