What is up, my peoples? Now I'm saying, listen, okay, y'all see the title, you know it's a little different type of video. I just felt like, you feel me, just talking to y'all for a little bit. I did one of these videos a little while ago, y'all loved it, but I just never did it again, and that is completely my fault. Um, I think the last video I did was like, um, how to get mentored by Millionaires, and I told you guys, y'all need to start reading, bro. Y'all need to start reading. Listen, first of all, we're in the Tesla right now. You see it? It's a T. Tesla. This is, this is a Tesla talk. This is a Tesla talk right now. I'm saying, I was just gonna head back to my apartment, but I was like, let me, let me just talk real quick because I was reading the comments on that video, popped up on my recommended page. I was reading the comments. I asked y'all what y'all wanted me to talk about. I hate thinking of ideas like business type ideas, like help y'all, like money, whatever it is, like whatever y'all want to know, comment down below because I'm gonna answer y'all questions. That's how we finna do this stuff. I'm gonna make a business channel soon, but for now I'm gonna do it on this channel. If y'all rock with it, then I'll make a whole new channel. If y'all don't rock with it, I don't know what to tell y'all. But, um, a lot of people surprisingly asked how to, um, like increase their money management skills, how to manage money better. Because I don't know if you guys ever heard that quote, all right? This going to be raw footage from— I ain't cutting nothing. Well, I might cut. I ain't cutting though. Y'all know I'll be straightforward with y'all. I just be— I'm a real person, honestly. I just like being real with y'all. Real sexy. Never mind. But, um, I don't know if y'all heard that quote before. It's like, um, it's not really the amount of money somebody has that makes them rich. It's really the mindset, you feel me? Because somebody have $100,000, someone can inherit a million dollars, but if they can't handle $1,000, they're gonna blow the million dollars. You need to be able to handle whatever money you're making or whatever money you have, or you'll always be in that broke type of cycle where you're doing the same thing over. You're making money, you have money, then you lose it. You make money, you have to lose it, you lose it. You feel me? So I'm gonna be giving y'all a couple tips that I personally use. I've said it to a couple people as well because a lot of people do ask me like for money advice and like business advice. Um, investing, all that type of stuff. And I, I should have been started doing these videos consistently, but I just didn't. But I'm gonna bless y'all real quick just with a couple stuff, um, I personally do. I personally have like known throughout like my time just like making money or saving money, investing money, that type of thing. Um, I'm not saying I'm perfect or my way is the only way. I'm literally just telling you, like I said, what I do. Now, um, I think like the first thing I would have to say would be like you really have to change your mindset on money. Like when you make money, especially, I know a lot of my viewers are younger people. I'm trying to like cater to my younger audience as well as my older audience. So what I mean by changing your idea, like the way you view money, your perception of money, a lot of people when they make money, let's say you work at Target, right? You're making $10 an hour. Boom, big money for me. $10 an hour. You worked a great week. You made $200, man. You made $200. Now you have $200 and then you're thinking, dang, what can I spend this $200 on? You feel me? That's the first thing that most people like go to in their head is like, well, what can I spend this $200 on? You feel me? I worked hard. Now I'm saying, I spent 40 hours at Target. I made my $200 after taxes. You feel me? First of all, I don't even want to talk about taxes. Y'all don't want to ask me about taxes. I hate taxes. I was just having this conversation with my cousin. I'm like, bro, you know tithes, right? Tithes, you're supposed to pay tithes in church, right? I pay tithes. I've never skipped tithes a day in my life. And that's 10%. Why the heck the government want 30%? The government ain't better than God. The government is not better than— why the heck do they want— never mind, we ain't gonna talk about it. But like I was saying, the first thing that most people go to, um, is what can I spend this money on? I made this money, what can I spend it on? You need to get out of that mindset because you being in that mindset automatically, you can make $100,000, now you're thinking, dang, isn't that Lamborghini like $98,000, boom, you're just thinking like what I can spend it on. You're not really thinking like how you should be thinking. What, how can I, how can I like, um, make this money work for me? How can I make this money make more money? You feel me? If you're always thinking how can I spend this money on some new sneakers, you feel me, a new outfit, um, buying a new car, whatever it is, instead of you thinking of, okay, I made $20, I made $200, right? Let me split this up and I'll get into splitting up a little later. I'm not gonna make this video mad long. I'm just trying to like get all these points real quick. Um, this man is looking at me crazy. I don't No, I'm doing a Tesla talk right now. Who go tell him? You go tell him he's coming. Y'all see him? Yeah, that dude right there. Yeah, crazy. He go watch this like, oh, that's me. But, um, what was I saying? Damn, I lost my train of thought. This is— oh, I'm in a Tesla. Look at the ceiling, it's the sky. Beautiful, beautiful. Um, dang, what the heck, bro? I suck at this stuff. I can never keep— I can never stay— okay, so you need to change your mindset from like what can I spend this money on to how can I make this money work for me, you feel me? Because my second point, I'll get into that right now actually, is you need to have more assets than liabilities, right? And what that means, if you don't know what an asset is, an asset is something that adds value to your life. An asset is something that makes you money technically. A liability is like something that takes money away. It's more like a pleasure type of thing, I would say. Like a liability could be going to a concert, right? Paying to go to a concert. An asset could be buying a sewing machine so you can sew clothes and start selling those clothes, you feel me? That's just a little example. Liabilities, they don't add value to life. Assets add value to life. So for you to be successful, you need to have more assets than liabilities, of course. But how this goes back into what I was saying about, as soon as you get money, don't try and spend it or think in your head like, what can I spend this on? I just made $500 and I think the Gucci bag is like $490, you feel me? I could buy that right now. Think of it as, okay, how can I make this $500 make me more money, you feel me? So like, for example, right, let's say you made $500. Let's say you, you work at Target, you made $500, but you want to make more money. Let's say the max you can make at Target— they only give you a certain amount of hours— the max you can make at Target is $370 a week, right? But you want more money than that. Of course, that's not buying you the Lamborghini that you want, you feel me? So let's say you take that, that $370, you go buy yourself— just because I said already— a sewing machine, right? You might not be into sewing, you feel me? This is just an example, of course. Now, there's multiple things you can spend your money on that will make you more money. Invest your money on, sorry, not spend. Let's say you buy a sewing machine. Now you have a sewing machine, plus you do Target, right? You have a sewing machine, you watch a bunch of YouTube videos for free, bro. You can learn all this stuff for free. YouTube is the best college you can ever attend, I promise y'all, unless y'all trying to be a doctor. Do not watch YouTube videos to learn how to operate on people. That's bad. You gonna kill somebody. But almost every single other field, you can literally learn everything on YouTube for free, which is crazy. It's, it's really crazy. It's like, bro, if anybody wants to make money, they— and they— if anybody's broke these days, honestly, it's because they're not putting in time to learn something, you feel me? Because you can learn mad stuff for free on YouTube that'll make you money fast. But that's besides the point. We'll get into that another time. Uh, like I said, y'all gotta drop down comments down below what videos I want to talk about or what topics I want to talk about, uh, whether it's money, investing, business, whatever it is, and I'm gonna get to it. But like I was saying, let's say you buy the sewing machine, boom, you spend— you get a nice sewing machine, $200, $200 on a sewing machine, right? Then you start sewing t-shirts, right? I was just talking to, uh, somebody about this before. You can buy embroidery, uh, sewing machine. I think this one was probably like a great— a good one was like $400, but you can get a small one for like $250, and that like does the embroidery. So y'all know like when y'all see your shirt and look like patches on it. That's literally like a sewing machine, like the, the type I was talking about. So you could buy that, literally get some t-shirts, right? Buy t-shirts for $3 on Amazon, buy them bulk, 10 of them, right? You sell the shirts for $20, $25, right? You just do the embroidery. You bought the sewing machine, you don't got to do nothing. You don't got to pay somebody else to make the design— I mean, to, to print designs on there. You can do it all yourself. That is, um, just an example of what you could do versus, okay, buy some sneakers, right? So let's say you, let's say you have $370. You spend $300, say $300 on a sewing machine. Boom. Another $20 on t-shirts, right? You make 10 t-shirts, you sell them for $20 each, that's another $200, right? So, you made your $200 back already, plus this is something that's going to keep making you money, the sewing machine. You made your $200 back, so you can go buy your freaking, your Skechers, whatever you want. Your glow-in-the-dark Skechers, you can go about it. But now, you have an actual money-making machine with you because you took the L the first time. I always talk about this. Take the small L, for the bigger W in the future. You gotta learn that you can't always take the W all the time, like with buying what you want to buy now. Buy what's gonna make you money to afford what you want, you feel me? If y'all want me to go more in depth into that, I can, but like I said, I don't want this video to be super, super long, right? So I just gave y'all 2 tips. Of course, y'all need to change your mindset on when you get money. It's not what can I spend this money on, it's what can I use this money to make me more money? How can I use this money to make me more money? Another tip I would give you guys is to split up your money, right? So when you're first making money, let's say you are making money now, say you have a job, you get an allowance, whatever it is, no matter how little the money is or how big the money is, you're gonna need to hide the money from yourself, right? For me personally, I like to hide the money from myself. And what I mean by that is, okay, say I made $100, just for easy numbers, let's say I made $100, right? $60 is not mine. I do not— that $60 is not mine. That is going into investing, right? That is going into, like I was saying, money making, put into something that's going to make me more money. Now I can take that $40 and blow on whatever the heck I want. I could buy Uber Eats for days. I could have Chipotle for years. Well, that's probably like 3 Chipotles, but let's just say I can, I can blow that money. You can, you can without even thinking about it. You won't even feel bad about blowing that money because you know you have $60 put away that's going into investing into something that's going to make you more money. So, I always did like a 60/40 type of split with my money. Well, that's actually cap. I don't like spending money, so I would really only take like 10% for myself, whatever money I made, and I would be able to blow. I would not feel bad about blowing 10% of it because I know 90% is away over there getting built up to invest into something else that will make me more money. So, but for like an average person, I always say 60/40. 60% goes away. To make more money, use that money to make more money, go use that money to tell his friends to come here, you feel me, that type of thing. Then the 40% you can literally use for yourself. Now, if you're an adult, right, you have bills, of course you need to split the percentage up a little bit more, but this is just like a basic percentage split if you're just, let's say you have a job and you're living with your parents, right? Because I said most of my audience is kids. Let's say you have a job, whatever it is, mowing people's lawns, freaking shoveling people's houses, painting people's house, whatever the heck it is. Let's say you have a job, but you don't got to pay rent like that. This is— that's what I'm saying. Whatever money you make, 60% goes into investing to make more money. And investing doesn't have to be stocks, it doesn't have to be crypto, it doesn't have to be none of that. It could be invested into literally anything. I said a sewing machine. It could be invested into getting a lawnmower so you can go mow people's lawns. It could be invested into buying paint to go paint people's houses, car cleaner to go wash people's cars, whatever it is, you feel me? Just something that's going to make you more money. It's an investment. And then you can have that 40% that you— the 40% of the money that you made, you keep that. You can spend on your Lamborghini, on your Balenciaga sneakers, whatever the heck you want, your Tesla, whatever it is that you really want to do. Let's see, another tip. I kind of said this, but I feel like a lot of people don't really understand it. I feel like this has always been So I always did like a 60, 40 type of split with my money last. Actually, Cap, I don't like spending money, so I would really only take like 10% for myself, whatever money I made. And I would be able to blow. I would, I would not feel bad about blowing 10% of it because I know 90% is a way over there getting built up to invest into something else that will make me more money. So. But for like an average person, I always say 60, 40. 60% goes away for., right? You feel me? And that's just gonna always keep happening. So you saving up money and sitting inside a savings account, it's not making any money, it's literally losing money. So everybody's always like, save, save, save, they're yelling, yo, save your money, save your money, bada bada boom, which is true, but that's only half the truth. Save to invest, right? You don't save to save. You don't save to have a bunch of money in your freaking bank account. Of course you need to save and have an emergency fund. I always say that, have an emergency fund. I usually have 3 months rent or whatever, at least 3 months rent. But like I said, if you're paying rent, but having an emergency fund is where it's money. It's like, okay, let's put it aside in case I'm about to freaking die, right? I need to pay some hospital bill. My kid just freaking— I don't know. It's something that you do not touch unless it's a real emergency. You need to go out with your friends to get an outfit. That's not an emergency. Know that you've seen some sneakers about to drop. That's not an emergency. Know that. But okay, you have your emergency fund, of course. Um, but then you need to save to invest. Save up to a goal. Save up to be like, okay, once I reach, uh, $500, I'm gonna go buy these, um, these new freaking whatever it is you're into, whatever it is that's gonna make you money. I'm gonna buy these new— this new machine, right? This new machine for my business I want to start, or this new— this new sneak— if you flipping sneakers, not so you can wear the sneakers, let's say I'm gonna say I have $500, I'm gonna save it for when a sneaker comes out. I'm gonna buy that and I flip it and make $1,200 off that $500. Whatever it is, you're saving up to invest. And on a higher scale, of course, let's say when you save $60,000, you're saving up to $60,000 for you to use that $60,000 to go buy an investment house, right? Buy an investment property, a duplex, you feel me? Something that's gonna pay you money. You're not just saving to be like, okay, I got $100,000 in my savings account. For what, you feel me? For what? Um, but yeah, did I give you all 5 points? I don't even know, but that's just what I, um, had off the top of the dome. I don't want to make this video that long. I hope y'all kind of got something from this. I ain't even gonna hold y'all, I'm low-key forgot what the heck I said, but I'm pretty sure I spit some gems. Like I said, if y'all want me to talk about anything else, answer any other questions, comment down below. If you do not comment it, I probably won't talk about unless God really be like, yo bro, make a video about this. But if you want something specifically like in your life or whatever, comment down below. For real, comment it. I don't care what it is, comment it. I'll answer them, you feel me? I'm gonna make the video. But, uh, I hope y'all was able to get something out of this. Um, number one thing, change your mentality around money. Money is not a hard thing to get, you feel me? And I'll explain that. Why is this man pulling out so close to my car? Oh my God. But I'll explain that, um, in another video if y'all want me to. Like I said, just put inside the comments and I'll do it for y'all. Um, yeah, another thing, just a quick little, a quick little thing that I'm thinking about now, um, something that I do still right now to this day. Um, if you're an older person, you kind of want to know like my split or like what my money is, like let's say what percent goes to bills, what percent goes like for me to spend on whatever the heck I want. What percent goes to savings. Like, let me know, I'll make a whole in-depth video of my percentage breakdown of what I personally do myself. But it's— if this helps you think of it more clearly with the whole percentage, let's say 60% is going inside your savings account or is going into your investment account. We'll say investment account, we don't do savings account. Investment account or your investment area, investment box. You can have a box just full of money that you're saving up to invest into something, whatever it is, honestly. Um, I used to think of it as I'm paying myself a salary, right? So let's say I made $100. Let's say I got paid $100 at Target, right? Just for use of number. Um, I'll be like, okay, Josiah Stewart Stewart, your salary, you get paid $40, you feel me? Because they paid me, and I'm like, okay, I'm paying myself $40. I could spend that on whatever the heck I want without feeling bad. I could spend it on Chipotle. I could give it to a homeless person. I can, I can do whatever the heck I want with it. I won't put back because that's my money, you feel me? That other 60% is not mine. Like I said, I got paid $40. Even though I got paid $100, I got paid $40. 100%, don't cheat. I got paid $40, you feel me? You did not get paid $100, you got paid $40. I'mma keep saying it because you got paid $40. You ain't get paid $100, you got paid $40. So that $40 is yours, spend it however the heck you want to spend it. Man. Blow it, bro. Blow it. Thrive, you feel me? Do whatever the heck you want to do. Now, y'all could change the percentages. That's just what I would personally suggest, um, because that's easiest. If I say, bro, only give yourself 10%, a lot of y'all not gonna do it. But if I say y'all got 40%, y'all do that. And, um, at least to start, then of course you can work your way down. And then that other 60%, make sure you have a goal for what the heck you're saving for. Now, you can start saving right now even if you don't have a goal,. But make sure you're thinking of trying to get a goal. What the heck I should be spending this on to invest it in, um, so I can make more money. Um, so yeah, that's what you all wanted to talk about. Call it 17 minutes. Yes, I hope y'all enjoyed it.
Like I said, just, um, comment down below anything else you want me to talk about, whatever. Y'all can ask me any questions, like whatever crypto you in, what book I'm trying to read, what stock I'm trying to be in, um, how to get into stock, literally any question. Throw a random question out there, like a good question. Don't do like a regular question like, bro, how do you make a million dollars in 2 days? But if I knew— I do know. Anyways, all right, goodbye. See y'all later. Good talk.
