Joshua Riggs shows three ways to add a slide in ProPresenter: the Add Slide button, copy-paste, or the Command+Shift+N shortcut. The keyboard shortcut is fastest and duplicates existing content or creates a blank slide if the layer is empty.

but I've had people ask, how do you add a new slide to a presentation? Well, whatever presentation you have selected, come down here to the very bottom and click that plus button that says Add Slide. Then you can choose a theme, and it's actually a little bit hard to see, but notice it says Add New Blank Slide. So you can actually add a blank slide like that. You also can copy an existing slide. So on Mac, if you hold down Command, if you're on PC, hold down Control, select it so it's blue. Then you can use the shortcut Command+C for copy or Control+C and then Command+V to paste. But I think my favorite way is to use the shortcut. So I'm going to select this slide. I want the new slide to come here. So I'm going to press Command+Shift+N for new and it will add a new slide. Keep in mind if you have anything on the slide layer and you use that shortcut, it's going to copy that as well. If there's nothing on the slide layer, then it will just give you a blank slide. Hey, if you like that training or that was helpful for you, I've got a free ProPresenter volunteer training coming up on September 1st. I'd love to see you there.
