See EVERY Screen at Once in ProPresenter (Multi-View Setup Tutorial)

Joshua Riggs shows how to set up a multi-view stage display in ProPresenter so you can watch every output at once: back screen, LED wall, lower thirds, lobby feed, preaching TV. He walks through creating a custom canvas, adding preview boxes for each destination, and formatting them with titles and sizing.

Okay, some of you have been asking how are— do we have multi-view so we can see what's on the back screen, what's on the LED wall, what's on the side screens, what's going to the lobby. So you can see we have multiple outputs happening here and I'm going to show you how you can get this multi-view set up in your preview screen inside of ProPresenter. So the first thing that you need to do is go to Screens and Configure Screens and then you're going to create a new stage display and I just call ours multi-view. Notice I have ours with a size 2000 by 2000. You could really make that whatever you want, but however many screens that you want to preview, you would put those inside that box. So ours is just a 2000 by 2000 box, but it could be whatever size you want depending on how many outputs you have. So if you click the plus button and you go down to the bottom, click New Placeholder all the way down there, and then just choose a custom size or choose an existing size. So I'm going to choose this size for now, and notice I've got a new stage screen. Then you can rename it, double-click and just name that Multi View. So I'm going to name it Multi View 2. If you want, you can rename this as well so that you can have everything called Multi View. Multi View 2. So now you need to set up your stage display with these preview screens. So I'm going to close that. I'm going to come up to More and go to Stage Editor and then click the plus button at the top. You're going to create a new layout. So I'll click the plus button and let's just start with blank for now. So you have this blank screen. Go ahead and change the size of that to the size of your new multi-view. So there it is, multi-view. So there's the size. So now I want to add in my preview screen. So come up here to this top and notice the little icon with the eyeball. These are screen previews. So I want to preview my full-screen graphics. So it gives you a little square. You can drag this and put this wherever you want it to be. If you want to make sure that it's the correct size, change that here. So we'll do— I know these are 1920 by 1080, so that's the size. So now I just want to keep that ratio. So I'm just going to hold down Shift so I can keep the ratio and then shrink that text block. So now I'm going to hold down Option, click and drag to duplicate this screen. I'm going to do it 6 times because we're going to add 6 different previews. And so now I've got my 6 different preview screens, but I don't want all of them to be full-screen graphics, obviously. So click on the square, and where it says Shape Fill, instead of filling the full-screen graphics, we're going to go to Screen Preview, and we'll do lower thirds on this one. We'll do this one and change the Screen Preview to Screen. So now choose this one, and we'll make this one the Screen Preview. And let's see, we got the lobby feed. Now choose this one and screen preview. And we got the LED wall one. And then we do last one, screen preview. I don't want to do multi-view because that's just going to copy the multi-view. So I'll do preaching TV. Okay, now you can format these however you want to. For instance, if you add a stroke to the box, it's going to add a white box around it, right? So that's— but that's the basic concept. You can format these and make these whatever size you want. So size these so they fit exactly where you want them to fit. If you want to put titles above them, you can put titles above them. Any— you can design this however you want. Okay, so the last thing to do is to give this layout a name. So notice it's called blank. You don't want it to be called Blank, so rename that also to Multi View. Now we'll come back to Show, and if we look at the Multi View, we'll change it to our Multi View 2. There it is. If we look at it, something's not right. So let's see, we need to assign the stage layout to this output. So I'm going to come up here to Screens, then go to Multi View 2, Add Layout, and we'll choose our Multi View 2 layout. So now we can see all of our outputs exactly the way that we configured them. Hey, if that was helpful, go to this website, And you can get free ProPresenter volunteer training.
