Joshua Riggs shows how to display your current slide and next slide together in ProPresenter by editing a theme. Duplicate a text block, resize it, link it to the next slide, and optionally add a dispersion blur animation to preview what's coming.

I want to show you how you can show your current slide and your next slide on the same slide with it faded out and a little bit smaller. The way to do that is to use a theme. So we're going to come up here to Theme. I'm going to edit this theme by clicking the pencil here. So I have 2 identical themes. So this one, I want to copy this text. I have this text block, so I'm going to copy that. So I'm going to press Command+C and Command+V. Now I'm going to take this, drag it underneath, and I'm going to come up to my Text tab and make this text smaller. And let's go ahead and change the color, or actually just change the opacity of this color. I'm going to make it a little bit opaque so you can see there. So we've got bigger and smaller. Now all you need to do is make this text block linked to the next slide. So I have the text block selected. Under Text, I'm going to go to Linked Text, choose the type, and we'll choose Next Slide. So now this will be my current slide, this will be my next slide. So if you want to get really fancy, you can select the text block, go to Build, and you can add an animation for that text block. So let's scroll down and see which one we like. Let's do this dispersion blur, and I'm going to do a duration of a second, and I want it to come with the slide. And let's delay it a few seconds so it won't show up exactly at the same time. So now if I come back to Show, reapply my theme, go to Theme, reapply that theme. So now as I click on this slide and go to the next slide, the next slide shows up and the next text animates in. Hey, follow for more, and I'd love to see you at our free ProPresenter training course.
