Joshua Riggs shows how to use ProPresenter's transport controls for media, announcements, and audio. Right-click the skip buttons to set custom intervals like 60 seconds. His team uses this to jump to the final 30 seconds of countdown videos before the band plays.
Okay, it's time for another ProPresenter tip. This area right under the preview window, this is called your transport controls. So the first tab is your media layer, your foreground and background media, and this will allow you to pause or play that media. You can see here, you can skip back 15 seconds, you can go forward 15 seconds. The second tab is your announcement layer. So you can see I have transport controls over that. Now I can scrub through that announcement layer. And the last one is your audio layer. You can scrub through, you can go back 15 seconds, go forward 15 seconds. But you may not know that you can right-click on this and change this to whatever seconds you want it to be. 60 seconds, 15 seconds, etc. And then as you're playing, you can click on this and it will skip to the last 15 seconds of the video. We use that button every week during our service run-through. We skip to the last 30 seconds of the countdown and then the band goes from there.
