Joshua Riggs shows how to link text to a stage message in ProPresenter and use visibility settings to automatically hide a red shape when the message is empty. Useful if you're already sending stage messages to your team.

Hey, it's time for another ProPresenter training tip. This one is all about visibility and how you can turn shapes or text on and off depending on the visibility of that content. I have a stage display here with a shape that's colored in red, and you can see it says "Stage Message." If I look at the text, my text is linked to my stage message. If I go to shape That is checked with visibility. All of the following conditions are met, and that's if the stage message has text, because I don't want this big red box to show up all the time. That would be distracting. I only want it to show up when there's a stage message. So if I click back on my Show tab, you can see my back screen here. If I type in my stage message and I click Show, Now you can see that that message is visible above all of the other text. And then if I hide that message, now that Sage message goes away. I'd love to hear if you're using Sage messages like that, uh, or if that's brand new feature for you. That's your ProPresenter tip for today, and be sure to follow for more and stay tuned for our brand new ProPresenter training course.
