Joshua Riggs shows how to set up ProPresenter's Calendar to automatically start a countdown every week. You create a recurring event, pick a time like Monday at 6:00 PM, select your countdown playlist, and test it. He also mentions a free ProPresenter volunteer training on September 1st.

So somebody recently asked, how can I trigger something to start automatically? Well, we do this every week using the calendar in ProPresenter. Let me show you how it works. So you're going to go up here to View, go all the way down till you get to Calendar. It will pull up your calendar. If you don't have any events, you can click the plus button in the bottom, give it a name. So we'll just call this New, and then you— it's going to start on You choose the date that you want it to start on, and then you can choose when does it repeat. So let's say it repeats every Monday. Then you can also give it a start time. So if I click and let's say 6:00 PM, so every Monday at 6:00 PM, and then you would choose your action. So you can choose a playlist, you can choose a macro, or you can capture, start your start or stop your capture. So if I go to playlist, I can choose my playlist here. We'll choose Adrol Worship. And then Worship. And so now I'll choose which item one I want to start. So let's choose Countdown. So now I'm going to start my countdown every Monday at 6 PM automatically, and I can click Test and make sure that works. And there you go. Now if you don't want that to happen, just uncheck this box, Calendar Enabled, and then your calendar triggers will not happen. But if you want it to happen, check the box. And then you'll see this little calendar icon next to your playlist that will be triggered. If you want more training like this, I've got a free ProPresenter volunteer training coming up on September 1st. Be sure to join the waiting list so you don't miss the training.
