Jackson Sudderth argues most companies lose revenue by waiting to present offers until a second call. With only 50-60% of appointments showing up, most qualified leads never get an offer. Presenting on the first call, even at a 10% close rate, generates 2-3× more revenue than a 20% close rate on fewer offers.

Shockingly enough, it's not actually your close rate that's killing your business, and it's not even the fact that you have unrealistic sellers. You know, I used to think the same thing, um, but after analyzing hundreds of companies across the country— thousands actually— I found that there's actually a bigger bottleneck that's killing everyone's deal flow. Um, I'm going to tell you that on this call today, and I'm going to tell you the one solution to be able to fix that. So hit the follow button, save this video, and then implement this, what I'm about to teach you, into your sales process so that you can literally 2 to 3x revenue with one switch. So one thing I've found is that a lot of people are optimizing for a 2-call close instead of a 1-call close. But fundamentally, that system is flawed because only 50 to 60% of appointments even show up in the first place, right? So here's the real issue. A lot of people aren't offering all of their qualified leads, either A, because they have no urgency on the call, or 2 because they're optimizing for a one-call close. But I wanna break this down for you, what exactly happens even if your close rate decreases with a one-call close, right? So say right now your close rate is 1 out of 5 offers. You have a 20%, you have a 20% close rate, right? If you were to optimize for one-call close, it might go down to what? 10%. But we're gonna get into that. Most companies are only offering 1 out of every 10 qualified leads, and you need to know this KPI in your business in order to be able to really track this. But if we optimize for offering all of those qualified leads, then what happens? Now we're able to offer 10 people, and if our close rate goes down to 10%, we get 1 deal for every 10 total leads, right? Now let's look on the opposite side. Right? Our close rate is 20%, right? So we have to get— in order to get 5 offers out, if we're only offering 1 in 10 people, we need to get 10, or I guess we need to get 50 total leads. So we have to 5x our lead flow to get 1 deal when we could have made the same amount of offers if we optimized for a one-call close. Because think about this, If you're offering 1 out of 10 people, it usually comes down to 2 things. Like, like we talked about earlier, the urgency aspect, or if you set the appointment, only 50% of them show. So if you set 10 appointments, only 5 of them show, and then you have to set 5 more or 10 more appointments to get 5 more to show in order to close 1 deal, right? So guys, optimize for getting offers out on the first call because the chances that you get the person back on the phone if you don't offer on the first call is actually slim. So it's super important that you optimize for one-call close so you don't lose lead— you don't lose revenue because of an offer issue instead of a close rate issue. Go implement that into your business and follow me.
