God Will Show You This When You Are Ready

Stop drifting and define three concrete goals with a step-by-step plan to reach them. The speaker uses Habakkuk 2:2 to argue that writing down your vision matters spiritually, then walks through a framework: pick a destination, build the bridge to get there, walk it daily. He challenges you to spend 60 minutes writing it all down.

Look, I don't know who you are, and I don't know what you're dealing with, but I'm gonna share with you something that I wish somebody told me when I was first getting started. And I wish they would have told me this earlier. If you keep living on an accident, you're gonna wake up to a life you didn't even choose. And if you clicked this video, I don't think it was random. Not because I'm special, but maybe because God's trying to get your attention and you've finally taken the moment to slow down long enough to listen to him. So let me just ask you this straight up. Do you really feel like you're on track to achieve the life that you want? Not hoping, not thinking about it. Like, do you feel. Not hoping, not thinking about it. Do you truly feel like you're on track for what you want? Because if we're being honest here, most people aren't stuck because they're lazy or they don't work hard. They're stuck because they don't even know what they want. Or maybe they know what they want, vaguely, but they don't have, like, a plan to get there, and they don't have, like, a tangible goal and there's no way to actually achieve it. Think about this. Would you get into a car and just drive around hoping you end up at your destination? No, you have to get in the car and know where you're going. And if you never pick a destination, you'll just continue driving. You'll just stay busy. And if you don't pick a destination, you'll still be driving, you'll still be busy. And you feel like you're making progress, but really you don't know where you're going. Then you ask yourself, like, this doesn't even feel like it's working. Then you ask yourself, like, why does none of this feel like it's working? It's because you're moving a bunch of places, but you're not moving towards anything. Another great analogy for this would be like, a bridge. A bridge needs two points. Where you are right now and where you're trying to go. And what happens for most people is they actually never choose that second point. Where are they trying to go? They don't know. So they do the default stuff. They. They just pick the safe path that everyone else tells them to get on, and they just kind of follow it blindly. And again, I'm not saying college is bad. I'm not saying jobs are bad. I'm saying that 90% of people live up in a life that they never even planned because they never identified the destination first. And then one day they look back and they're like, how did I even get here? Have you ever gone on a vacation and then came home and had like so much clarity? It's not because you went to the beach and it healed you. It's because you finally took the time and had space to think. Think. Most people don't really have a thinking problem. They have more of a noise problem. They're listening to all these other people tell them what to do. They don't even know their goals, so they just kind of follow what other people say. And that noise keeps you stuck. And here's where faith actually gets practical. In Habakkuk, chapter 2, verse 2, it says, Write the vision and make it plain. The verse is so simple that it almost feels too basic, but that's the whole thing. Write your goal down and make it clear. Because if you don't, you never know where you're actually going to go. And your life just becomes a loop. You'll feel motivated for 10 minutes, then reality hits, Then you go right back to scrolling, surviving and then distracting yourself. So here's what I want you to do right now. There's three steps. And number one is I want you to actually pick the destination. Don't say I want to make more money. Make it tangible. How much by when and what do you want it for? What do you actually want your day to day life to look like? 2. Build the bridge. Build the plan. Number two is build the bridge. Just make a simple plan and the plan is just steps. If your goal has to do with income, identify what skill, what offer and what daily action steps you need to achieve that. If your goal is fitness, training, food, sleep. If your goal is peace, boundaries, routine, and cutting out what is poisoning you. And three, the part that nobody likes is walking it daily. Because once you get specific, you know the actionable steps you need to take in order to achieve the goal you want. And you'll probably realize it's going to take more work than you thought. And that's why it's the road less traveled. But the difference between the people who win and the people who don't, it isn't talent, it's that they keep walking even when it gets hard. So I'm giving you a challenge. A very simple one, not a cheesy one. Tonight I want you to set a timer for 60 minutes. Phone down, no distractions, nothing but you, your thoughts and a piece of paper. You're going to write down these four things. Number one is what do you actually want? I want three things maximum. Then I want you to write why you actually want those things. Then third, what's the bridge? How are you going to get there? What steps do you have to take in order to achieve what you said you want? And then four, what do you need to cut out? Like what distractions do you have? Or what things do you need to eliminate in order to be able to take those actionable steps to achieve those goals? Then pick daily non negotiables. And they can be small, just so you're making progress. But these things need to happen every single day and they need to push the needle forward and do it tomorrow. If this hits you at all. Don't just sit there and feel something. Actually do something. Do the hour tonight. Look, God puts you on this earth to do incredible things and he loves you. Don't listen to those people who aren't living the life you want to right now. God has shown you what's possible. God's given you examples. All you have to do is hold yourself accountable, set goals and actually take action to reach them. Go pray about it and stop living on accident.
