A speaker uses the metaphor of liquid gold delivered in shot glasses rather than all at once to explain why blessings come gradually. God gives daily droplets of favor to shape you into someone who can handle bigger success. Stay disciplined, consistent, and grateful for both the good and hard parts.

I can go back in time to the beginning of my entrepreneurship journey. This is the story I would tell myself. Imagine I have a bucket full of liquid gold. Of course you want it. So you open up your mouth, and I just dump the whole bucket on you. You might get a few sips, but you're gonna miss, like, 99 of the bucket. Now imagine I had that same bucket of liquid gold. I'm like, hey, I'm gonna give you a shot glass of this every week. It would probably take 50 times longer, but you wouldn't miss a drop. Now let's apply this to real life. Imagine all the things you pray for every day. If God was just to dump them all on you at once, you wouldn't be able to handle them, because you're not the man you need to be yet. You wouldn't be able to handle all the great things God could give you. You'd probably ruin some. But every day, God gives you a droplet here, a droplet there, a droplet there, until you have all the blessings you could have ever imagined. In due time, you will get everything you wanted. Stay focused, stay disciplined, stay consistent, and be appreciative of all the blessings and hardships you face. Because that's God crafting you to become the man that you need to be in order to achieve all the things you've always wanted.
