In this YouTube monologue, the presenter argues that the fundamental cause of most illnesses is a deficit of cellular energy due to mitochondrial dysfunction. She explains how mitochondria convert nutrients into ATP, the energy currency that powers tissue repair, immunity, and overall health. The video identifies three primary modern stressors that sabotage mitochondrial ATP production: (1) excess linoleic acid from seed oils, which creates reductive stress and impairs electron flow; (2) endocrine‑disrupting chemicals (EDCs) such as BPA and microplastics, which elevate intracellular calcium and generate oxidative stress; and (3) pervasive electromagnetic fields (EMFs) from phones and Wi‑Fi, which also trigger calcium influx and peroxynitrite formation. The presenter describes the cascade of consequences—poor gut microbiome balance, chronic inflammation, and a host of chronic diseases—when energy production falters. She then offers a step‑by‑step protocol to restore mitochondrial health: eliminate high‑linoleic seed oils, minimize plastic/EDC exposure, reduce EMF exposure, consume nutrient‑dense whole foods (grass‑fed meat, wild‑caught fish, fermented vegetables), and incorporate regular movement and stress‑management practices. The video concludes with a call to action to join her community for personalized support and to engage with the channel.

Why do we get sick? If you've ever asked yourself that question, welcome to the clan. For decades, people have believed it's about germs, genetics, or bad luck. But what if the real answer is much simpler and yet far more profound? The truth is, we get sick because our cells don't have enough energy to function properly. And while many people understand the importance of energy, few grasp the devastating consequences of energy depletion or how to turn it around. Today I'm breaking down the science behind why energy is the key to your health, how your body produces it, and what's secretly sabotaging it. Now, before we get started, make sure that you hit that subscribe button and turn on your notifications so that you can get more content like this. I found out that sometimes 70% of people, they'll watch the same channel over and over and still don't subscribe. So do me that favor because it helps the channel and it helps me to get content like this out to you. All right, let's jump in. So you can first know the science of energy and health. Now, inside every cell in your body, there's a powerhouse called mitochondria. These tiny engines are responsible for producing the energy your body needs to heal, grow, and thrive. Here's how it works. The food you eat, whether it's protein, fats, or carbs, is broken down into molecules and sent to your mitochondria. Your mitochondria use these molecules to create ATP, often called the energy currency of your cells. ATP is what powers everything your body does, from repairing tissue to fighting infections. To put it into perspective, each mitochondrion can produce up to half a million ATP molecules per second. With about 40 trillion cells in your body, that's 200 million quadrillion ATP molecules every second. But here's the problem. If your mitochondria aren't working properly, this energy production slows down or even stops. And without enough energy, your body can't perform the basic functions that keep you healthy. So what's destroying your energy, and why are so many of us running low on energy? There are 3 major culprits. Number 1, excess linoleic acid found in seed oils like canola, soybean, and sunflower oil. LA, linoleic acid, is one of the most harmful ingredients in the modern diet. It clogs up your mitochondria, causing something called reductive stress, where electrons get backed up and ATP production slows down. And the result? Chronic inflammation, metabolic dysfunction, and a gut microbiome that's out of balance. The second culprit is endocrine disrupting chemicals. From microplastics to BPA, these chemicals interfere with your estrogen receptors, leading to increased intracellular calcium and oxidative stress. Studies show that the average person consumes the equivalent of a credit card's worth of plastic each week, contributing to mitochondrial dysfunction and poor health. And the third culprit is excessive EMF exposure. Every day we're bombarded by electromagnetic fields from devices like cell phones and Wi-Fi. EMFs trigger voltage-gated calcium channels in your cells, leading to an influx of calcium, production of peroxynitrate, a highly reactive molecule that damages your mitochondria. Now, there are consequences of energy depletion. When your energy levels drop, your body can't maintain critical functions like repairing tissues, regenerating cells, and balancing your gut microbiome. One of the most immediate effects of mitochondrial dysfunction is poor gut health. When your mitochondria don't produce enough energy, harmful bacteria start to take over your microbiome. These bacteria produce toxins that can lead to inflammation, a compromised gut barrier, chronic diseases like heart disease, cancer, and even septic shock. It's a vicious vicious cycle. Low energy leads to poor gut health, which leads to more inflammation, which further drains your energy. So how do you restore your energy? Here is the good news: you can turn this around by taking steps to support your mitochondrial health. You can restore your energy levels and transform your health. Here's where to start. Number 1: eliminate seed oils and reduce linoleic acid. Avoid all the bad oils— canola, soybeans, sunflower, safflower, corn oil, cottonseed oil, all the bad oils— and instead focus on healthier fats like coconut oil, butter, ghee, maybe MCT oil, avocado oil. These oils and fats are definitely much better. And then if you are sensitive to linoleic acid, you might want to limit nuts and olive oil. Olive oil can be good, but it does have some small amounts of linoleic acid in there. All right, number 2, minimize exposure to EDCs. So reduce your use of plastics, especially when it comes to food and drink. Opt for glass or stainless steel instead. Avoid products with phthalates BPA. Number 3, protect yourself from EMFs. Use EMF blocking tools and limit your exposures to devices like cell phones and Wi-Fi routers. Create a low EMF environment at home, especially in your bedroom, to support restful sleep. Number 4, fuel your mitochondria with the right foods. Focus on nutrient-dense whole foods like grass-fed meats, wild-caught fish, and organic fruits and vegetables. Support your gut health with fiber-rich foods and fermented options like sauerkraut or kimchi if your gut needs it. And number 5, incorporate movement and stress management. Exercise supports mitochondrial biogenesis, which helps your cells to produce more energy. And don't forget, stress management techniques like deep breathing and mindfulness lower oxidative stress and protect your mitochondria. Listen, your health boils down to energy, and usually if you're struggling with a sickness, it's because of an energy deficit. When you have an energy deficit, your body does not have the power to be able to heal and restore the way it needs to. This is about managing energy at the end of the day. So do everything in your power to get your energy back restored again and limit the things that drain your energy, because your health is your most valuable resource.
