Hey, I just want to take a quick, much-needed moment to really share some stuff with you that can really help you as you make positive, healthy changes to your life, to your process, to your daily regimen. Um, I want to talk to you about including your mind in on the journey. A lot of times people are making decisions and they're like, okay, I want to lose weight, I want to start exercising, or I want to turn over a new leaf, whatever that looks like for you. And they just start doing things, and maybe it's something that somebody told them to do. But if you don't include your mind in on the process— and when I say mind, I'm talking of the definition thinking, feeling, and choosing— meaning that the way you design your, your mental efforts and your mindset is going to affect your thinking, your feeling, and your choosing, your choices that you make on a day-to-day basis. And this is very, very important because there's like this energy exchange that happens throughout the day in every moment from your mind to your body. And for example, if you have negative thoughts, if you are worried, if you're depressed, if you're angry, if you, you have frustration, if you're bitter, there's so many different negative mindsets that you can have that can damage, bring damage to your body. Even so much so that if you sometimes have negative thoughts going on, again, that energy and it controls you know, the, the healthiness of your body. Sometimes when you eat, it don't matter if you're eating organic, healthy, uh, not, you know, non-GMO, uh, food items that are, you know, supposed to do good for your body. Sometimes your body won't even digest or get the nutrients out of them just simply because of your mindset, your mind capacity, how you're thinking. Because again, it regulates a lot of different things that's going on in your body, your organs and all of that. And so This is an important topic because again, a lot of people try to decide that they're going to take, you know, the health, the health walk, and they're going to do things healthier, but they don't start to think about what that looks like and prepare their mind. Eating is a, is a mental event. It's a thinking event. And if you're just doing things without including the mind in on it, then you're not going to have last long lasting results. Okay. And, and What I want you to have is results that last you a lifetime. This is a life change. This is not some temporary, you know, just quick fix that you can do. Just, you know, I know people who say, okay, I just want to lose weight to get into an outfit or something like that. You know, that's not something that's going to really change your life. That's not something that's going to change your health. You know, that's a temporary fix. And if you, if you don't include this as a lifelong journey, then you'll lose the weight, you'll take care of whatever you need to take care of as far as fitting in that, making sure you fit in that outfit. But then, a couple of months from now, it's gone. There's a lot of people who yo-yo in their weight up and down, up and down, up and down. And it's because they don't include their mind. They're not being mentally prepared for the journey ahead. And I wanna make sure that you start to consider and think about that and understand again, the energy the energy that comes to your life, your decisions, your outcomes that come from the place of the mind. I know, for example, when I'm working out, a lot of times my workout is going to reflect what I'm thinking. You know, if I'm like, oh, I'm so tired, I don't feel like doing this, I'm, you know, I didn't get enough sleep, you know, if I'm just thinking thoughts that are draining my energy, then I'm not gonna be as productive in my workout as I would normally be if I'm telling myself, you can do it, let's go, come on, it's time to get moving. You know, it's, it's that again, that mental focus, that preparation. It's that constant feeding yourself. You're feeding your body with the way you think. And so if you're going to embark upon this journey and you're going to make some health moves, then I'm telling you, start to mentally prepare and continue to feed yourself, feed your body and your mind positive things. Let me share with you something really quick that I wrote down from a neuroscience scientist. That's, uh, some proven, um, uh, statistics and some— or not, I don't want to say statistics, but that it's a prove— some proven facts that they found while doing studies. And this is so profound, and that's why I wanted to really share it with you, just so you can see how important this is as far as making sure that you are mentally prepared, that you don't have negative thoughts, that you are you know, making sure that you're feeding your mind good, healthy things, healthy thoughts, that you're meditating in a positive way, that you're not allowing negative environments or people to speak negative things and plant negative seeds in your, in your brain and your mind and your heart. You know, you want to make sure that you are guarding, you're guarding these, these areas, because again, these are areas that really help you to, to get out the outcome that you're really looking for. And And so I wrote down a few, um, a few mental negative, um, thought patterns that actually have been proven to affect certain parts of the body. Here's one real quick, and this is just so you can understand how deep this is. The emotion of grief affects your immune system, and specifically your lungs and your colon. The emotion of anger affects your liver and your gallbladder. Again, these are proven statistics proven— this is proven research, um, to get these findings of, of what, uh, thought patterns will affect certain, you know, uh, parts of your body, certain organs. The emotion of worry affects your upper GI and pancreas. The emotion of anxiety or nervousness— and I've experienced this— affects your heart and whole central nervous system and your blood vessels. So, and it's just so much more than that. I'm just sharing with you just some of the things that they've discovered on connecting the mind to the body. And again, the body will follow the mind. The mind is such an important aspect, and I don't think we include enough of it in our decisions that we make on a day-to-day basis. So I just want to encourage you to feed your mind and to start to mentally prepare yourself for the decisions that you're going to make so that you don't yo-yo back and forth. Now, I'm not saying that you don't have days where you're not as achievable the other, you know, in whatever you set out to achieve, as other days. So don't get me wrong, we all have rainy days, you know, but we're able to bounce back. And this is, again, this is a long-term, uh, plan. This is a lifelong plan. This is not something that we're just trying to do in the next month and then we just turn away and, and reverse everything that we learned, all right? And the way— the best way to make sure that that does not happen is to mentally prepare yourself, feed your mind, let your mind get ready for the journey. Because once you create a strong mind on the inside of you within, then look, there's nothing left but for your life, your body, and everything else to just follow what you set out to do. So I just want to encourage you in on that because this is my key factor on how I've, you know, walked out my health process and how I continue to really, um, add to my life and, and gain knowledge and continue to apply and to do the things that I know to do. And, and it's, it's the key factor is my mind. Depending on the state of my mind is going to depend on the choices I make and where I am in this journey. All right, so be encouraged and make sure that you do some mental preparation.
