Quick Basic vitamin rules that you need to know

Soft-gel vitamins and MCT oil break a fast, so swap them for black coffee with L-citrulline and beta-alanine before fasted workouts. Skip synthetic multivitamins and use sprouted green powders instead. Both supplements have placebo-controlled study backing.

All right, as you— hey y'all, as you see, I'm kind of relaxing right now for a moment, um, but I did want to leave something with you this week and I wanted to share something that is important. I know last time I talked a little bit about not taking certain vitamins because it can complicate, uh, if you're fasting, it could break a fast. And I know there was a lot of questions about it because the vitamin world is crazy. And so, um, here's a piece of advice that you could just take away because you're not going to learn all this overnight. It took me decades. It's taking decades more to learn and be updated with research and information. So whenever you get nuggets, don't feel like you have to do everything all in one day. Just take one piece of advice and that could be very helpful for you. All right. So last time, I believe I did a video, I talked about vitamins. And okay, just don't take any soft gel vitamins or anything that seems like oil is in it if you are fasting. There are some vitamins that you shouldn't take together. You'll learn about that as pieces of wisdom go forth. And I think one of the things I did also mention was to replace your multivitamin with maybe some superfood. And what I mean by that is like maybe a green superfood or something like that, okay? Um, like a— in powder form. It's just— at least it's food. A lot of it is sprouted, um, uh, sprouted foods, uh, food items. And it's just a lot healthier when you're getting it in the form of food versus synthetic vitamins, okay? Now, um, as far as, you know, I talk a lot about, you know, fasting, especially if you're exercising and you want to make sure you don't break your fast with exercising, because I see a lot of people, they are— I think they think they're fasting, but then they go get coffee and they put sugar in it, or cream, or MCT oil, which I love MCT oil and coconut oil and all of these healthy things to put, you know, in your drinks or whatever. But just know that anytime you do that, you are still breaking the fast, okay? So You know, it's very hard to find energy when you're trying to work out and not still break a fast. And that's why I drink, you know, green tea sometimes mixed with black tea with nothing in it, or my coffee just black. But you can also, if you're trying to get like, you know, and if you're taking a pre-workout, most of the time it's going to break your fast. It has calories and sugar and things in it and flavors that's just going to break the fast. And so if you're trying to work out and still fast, I'm not saying you have to. Some people are on medications and they can't do that. That. But if that's what you're aiming to do, then in order to make a fasted pre-workout that's kind of similar to what you would get in a traditional workout, you know, something that'll energize you, you can take some black coffee, you can mix it with beta alanine and L-citrulline, okay? And, and I love L-citrulline because it, um, helps with nitric oxide, you know, and, and that helps with so many different things like hypertension. It helps to get a better blood flow, to relax the blood vessels. It helps against vascular issues, vascular injuries, especially diabetic vascular injuries. And it also helps with performance, so it helps with athletes. And this is, you know, these are, these are tested. These, uh, this information I'm giving you is tested with placebo effects, okay? So you have some taking placebo, some who take L-citrulline. And yes, the ones with L-citrulline are gonna do and perform a lot better. But again, that nitric oxide is, is gonna help so much. I mean, some people take it even if they're not taking it for a workout supplement. Now, beta alanine is in all pre-workout stuff, you know it, because you're gonna get that tingly feeling. I know some of you are— if you had a pre-workout, you got that tingly feeling. And usually, you know, if you're taking between 2 and 5 milligrams— I think it's milligrams, um— you'll feel that, that tingly sensation or whatever. And so you can mix those two together in your coffee, um, and of course you're getting them in perfect form where there's no sugar added or anything like that. And you'll kind of get you a little pre-workout, um, and, and again, beta alanine has again placebo studies that show that, you know, if you're cycling or if you're performing and you're an athlete, that you're able to do— it'll help you with your performance. And again, this is all proven. And so a lot of times if, you know, I don't always take energies, anything energy related when I work out, but if I just feel like I need to, that's something I'll do is I'll mix that with, you know, some green tea or some black tea or, you know, water even. But I guess the caffeine from the coffee kind of helps it out. So you're getting a little bit of coffee mixed with the L-citrulline and the beta alanine, and it is amazing and you'll feel a difference. All right.. So that is something that you can do. Um, and again, some people take again the citrulline, the L-citrulline, outside of working out because it has so many benefits, um, just to your blood vessels and your blood flow and hypertension. I know people who have taken it and didn't even try to take it to lower their blood pressure, but it did lower their blood pressure, um, tremendously and brought it into normality basically. Um, so check that out, get some more information about that. I did want to, uh, just give you this information while I'm here resting. And of course, I will continue to get information out that can make you healthy and better. A, and be on the lookout because I'm doing some really big things with, um, some coaching programs that I'm about to, um, roll out. And it's going to be quite exciting because I've had a lot of people who want, you know, coaching and more access to me. And, um, yeah, and, and, and we're talking holistic, we're talking wellness, all right? Physical, mental, emotional, all of that. You know, we need to be well, all right? So be on the lookout for that. I'm going to get some more information out to you. Till then, have a blessed day.
