Ripple Is Building A $1 Billion Business WITHOUT Selling Your XRP

Ripple announced a $1 billion annual revenue run rate from products and services, explicitly excluding XRP sales. The company is building multiple revenue streams including cross-border payments, the RLUSD stablecoin, and a Treasury cash-management platform, which means it won't need to sell its token to fund operations.

Hey, it's Kamilah Stevenson, and around here we talk wealth. And let me show you why one number Ripple put out this month matters far more than the price of XRP on any given day. Because the headline is the part that people repeat, and the one word buried inside it is the part that changes this entire story. You're gonna wanna hear about this. Here is what happened. The CEO of Ripple, Brad Garlinghouse, went on Fox Business and said the company expects to reach $1 billion revenue run rate by the end of this year. Now let me be precise with you, because a run rate, first of all, is not money already sitting in the bank, okay? It is a forward pace, taking what the business is earning right now and stretching it across a full year, okay? So this is the target that Ripple expects to hit. It's not the check that has already cleared, but the size of it is real serious. A billion dollar pace for a company a lot of people still think of as nothing more than an XRP company, okay? And here's the word that got skipped right over: excluding XRP. So Garlinghouse went out of his way to say this billion dollars does not count a single dollar from XRP sitting on Ripple's balance sheet. Once you understand why he said that, you're going to understand the entire move. For years, the biggest knock on Ripple went like this. Sure, the company exists, but its real value is just the giant pile of XRP it holds. And the fear that rode along with that was real simple. If Ripple ever needed money, it would sell XRP into the open market to fund itself, and that selling would land right on top of you, the holder, dragging your bag down. That worry was hung over this asset for a very long time. So when the CEO stands up and says the operating business is on the track to earn a billion dollar pace without even touching XRP at all. He's answering that fear head on. He's telling banks and regulators and you that Ripple is a real company earning real money from products and services and does not need to lean on selling its own token to keep the doors open. That is the part that is going to matter because of the fear that's out there about Ripple. And the price of XRP, um, even that day barely moved, right? So there— it's not like, okay, XRP's price is contingent upon what Ripple says and not say or whatever. It is not a security, okay? It is not tied to what Ripple is doing and, you know, the income of Ripple, what Ripple says or anything like that. And that's a good thing for you, that it's not a security, okay? Now, one thing I didn't say is like the video, subscribe if you have not already, and nothing that I share is financial advice. Everything that I share is for educational and entertainment purposes, so do your own research. So where is this money coming from? Well, let me walk you through it because this is what a real business underneath an asset looks like. Ripple now earns across several growing lines. So there is the cross-border payments engine, uh, there is the original business, there's moving money between countries for banks and companies. There is the RLUSD, Ripple's dollar stablecoin, which climbed into the top 10 stablecoins in the world. In only about a year and a half. There is also Ripple Treasury, a software product that has become one of their fastest growing pieces, basically a control panel that lets a company's finance team see all of their cash and accounts across the entire world in one place. And there is the brand new push into payments built for the age of artificial intelligence running right on the XRP Ledger. A lot of this growth came from outside the United States too, because Ripple didn't sit around waiting for Washington to hand them permission. They went and they built the business overseas while everyone here is still arguing about the rules. Okay, come on, right? So now let me connect this straight to you and your XRP, because this is the lesson underneath the lesson. A company that funds itself from real products is a company that keeps building the rails your asset runs on year after year without needing to dump its token to keep the lights on. Okay, so that removes the overhang that scared people for years, and it changes what you're even holding. You're not holding a lottery ticket on a logo, okay? You are holding the asset that sits in the middle of a growing, profitable infrastructure company that the most serious players in finance are beginning to plug into. And let me keep it straight with you, in the short run, the business and the token can move on completely separate tracks. Ripple's revenue can be climbing while XRP trades flat or even slips.. And that is close to what has been happening lately. But over the long arc, the business getting stronger is exactly what gives the asset its runway, because the more of the world that runs on these rails, the more the thing sitting at the center of them comes to matter. So you have to understand what it is that you're holding and why these type of situations are very good for the long-term position of the asset that you hold. Okay, now if this is your entire thesis and you believe that XRP will appreciate and it will do well, and it does have a company like Ripple who is treating it as its North Star, as they say it, then you probably believe that XRP will appreciate at some point and will make you lots of money, right? So what you need to think about in regard and in respect to that is how you hold your XRP, how you hold your digital assets. You should hold it in a way that matches the same long timeline. Ripple is playing the long game, funding itself from real revenue instead of selling its token in a panic, okay? And yes, they do release it on escrow. I'll talk about that another day, but it's going from wallet to wallet. It's not touching the exchanges, which is not going to move the price. That's again for a different day. But they're not selling their tokens to create income for their company, and obviously they're structuring their business the way they need to. And you can borrow that exact discipline for yourself. Anything that the institutions are doing, you can say, hey, I need to structure my own personal, uh, assets in a way that protects me in the long run. So for the portion of my own XRP, I am holding for the long haul. I keep it inside a Roth retirement structure through iTrust Capital where you can hold XRP, other digital commodities and metals. And as it appreciates, I get a chance to keep everything in that account. It is tax-free and it's one of the most prudent things you can do with your money right now, with your assets right now, is protect them from the upside so that the government does not come back and want you now to really probably cash in your assets to turn them into fiat currency just to give back to them. It doesn't make any sense, and it takes a lot of money away from more appreciation even in the distant future. Because there's a gain that we're going to have in the short future, and then there's a gain that we're going to have in the distant future. And you got to prepare for the long haul of this, okay? And so now, if you're holding for years away, holding it inside the right structure is how you get to keep more of what you've been patiently waiting for. All right, so again, I do leave mine inside of an iTrust Capital Roth account, and they do give you a $100 funding bonus to this community if you use the link in the description. That is something they've been gracious to do with this community, and I thank them for that. Um, make sure that you have your house in order, uh, for the future, and make sure you put guardrails around your assets because I don't want you to miss out on this opportunity and have to give anything back that you don't need to give back. You're already going to sell, you're already going to have to pay taxes off of what you sell for. So it would be wise for you to have an account where you do not have to worry about taxes. And if you're looking for a full picture to help you with your position for the long arc, that is what my clarity calls are for. We sit down, we look at your portfolio, we analyze together where you need to position your money and what kind of assets you need to hold, what kind of accounts they need to be in, how to structure them, how to protect them against taxes, and how to preserve your wealth for generations to come. If that interests you, then go ahead and click the link in the description. And then also let me know, is Ripple a company that you believe in? Do you believe in their business model and the way they're doing things? I'd love to hear from you on what your thoughts are about Ripple. I often ask what your thoughts are about XRP, but I don't ask enough what your thoughts are about Ripple. So I'd love to see that and hear about that in the comments. So go ahead and share with me. Also, like the video and subscribe if you have not already. Hype it if you're feeling extra kind today. And understand that, uh, we are, we are close to really experiencing something, uh, phenomenal in, in our lifetime. And, um, you know, I don't ever come on here and give you time frames for that, but I'm telling you, we are, we are close to something very, very special happening. And, and I think you better position for it, you know, because if you're not positioned, it'll catch you off guard, and then you'll be more reactionary than you will intentional. And everything I say when I come on here is for you to be intentional, so you can organize things, so you can plan ahead. And really, you want to plan for any scenario to happen. You want to plan for all four seasons. There are always four seasons to life in anything. Everything is cyclical, okay? There are things that happen in cycles, and you really want to be prepared for whatever cycle you encounter. So do yourself that favor, and become more intentional as the months go on and get serious about this, because your wealth is at stake and your family is either going to suffer or they're going to be blessed by the decisions that you make. And as always, I want you to stay wise, stay wealthy, and I'll see you in the next video.
