Ripple Is NOT Dumping XRP — Here's The Proof

In this video Kamilah Stevenson tackles the prevalent narrative that Ripple is "dumping" XRP on public markets to suppress the price. She explains that Ripple has not sold XRP on any public exchange since 2019; all sales have been private, escrowed deals with institutional buyers. Using analogies (real estate auctions vs private sales, wholesale tomato market vs private contracts) and on‑chain data, she shows that price only moves when XRP is deposited to or withdrawn from a public exchange, and that the 40 billion XRP Ripple has sold to institutions never entered the tradable float, which has never exceeded about 4 billion on exchanges. Consequently, institutional purchases actually shrink the available supply, creating a bullish supply‑squeeze rather than a bearish dump. Stevenson also warns viewers that fear‑driven narratives can cause premature selling, and she recommends tax‑efficient holding strategies (e.g., a Roth IRA via iTrust Capital) and her coaching program for deeper clarity. The video ends with calls to action for comments, likes, subscriptions, and sharing.

Something is spreading through the XRP community right now and it's costing people their position. And no, it's not a market crash or bad news from Ripple or a regulatory setback, although we are still waiting on the Clarity Act to pass. But it is a narrative and it sounds like this: Ripple is selling XRP to fund themselves. They're dumping it into the market. They are suppressing the price. And while you are holding and waiting and believing, they are getting rich off of your patience. And I've seen this in the comments section. I've seen it on other videos. And, uh, I've watched people who held XRP for years start to question everything because of this argument, and some of them sold. Okay. So I wanna address this directly and, um, try to help you to understand what's going on here because here's the thing about this narrative. It's not coming from people who wanna hurt you. It's coming from people who genuinely don't understand how Ripple actually sells XRP And there is a difference between someone who's lying to you and someone who is working with an incomplete picture. Okay. So the incomplete picture is what we want to fix today. And I'll be upfront, by the time we finish, you're not going to need me to convince you of anything. Okay. The math is going to do it on its own. By the way, I'm Kamilah Stevenson, and around here we do talk wealth, and nothing in this video is financial advice. I'm just an educator sharing my research and perspective Always do your own due diligence. Go ahead and like the video, subscribe if you have not already, and leave me a comment and let me know, have you heard of this argument? Is this something that is scaring people out of their position? I do want to address it and we're going to get ready and do that right now. So let me start with this one question that the entire dumping narrative never stops to answer. When people say Ripple is selling XRP, who are they saying Ripple is selling to? Because that answer is everything. All right. It is the difference between a narrative that makes sense and one that's completely going to fall apart under scrutiny. So we're going to give you that scrutiny, right? So you can know the facts. Now, Ripple has not sold XRP to any public exchange since 2019, not even one. And that is not an opinion. Go do your own research, right? That is documented in Ripple's own quarterly market reports. Which are publicly available. So anybody can read them and anybody can verify this. Since 2019, every single XRP that Ripple has sold has gone directly to institutions, private deals, negotiated agreements off the open market entirely. Now, I wanna make sure that you understand what that really means in practice because this is where a lot of people are gonna get lost. All right. So think about the difference between selling a house at a public auction versus selling it privately off market. All right. And I don't know if you've ever done real estate, um, but I have. And so this is something that happens time after time, right? So at a public auction, everything is visible. Bidders compete in real time and the price gets discovered publicly. So the market reacts. Everyone watching knows exactly what that house sold for, and it influences how they think about every other house in the neighborhood. But when a property sells privately, meaning a direct deal between a developer and a buyer negotiated quietly, I mean with specific terms, conditions, an agreement that never ever hits the public, uh, the open market is not gonna see it, right? So other buyers never knew it was even available. So the public auction market is completely unaffected because that transaction happened in an entirely different world. So that is the exact structure that Ripple uses when it sells XRP to institutions. Again, they go through private agreements, which is non-disclosure agreements, escrow structures with specific release schedules and terms that are not available to retail investors on public exchanges. So the open market never sees those transactions because they were never part of the open market to begin with. And here's something important to understand about why institutions agree to these terms. When a major financial institution buys XRP from Ripple through a private deal, they are not making a speculative purchase. They are making a strategic acquisition. They are buying operational inventory. They are securing access to a bridge asset they intend to use inside of financial infrastructure that they're building. So that's a completely different motivation from someone buying XRP on Coinbase, hoping that the price goes up. So in this transaction, they're gonna sign contracts. They agreed to terms. They structure their acquisitions specifically because they have a long-term reason to hold. So you don't go through that process for a quick trade. You go through that process because you are building something that requires this asset to function. And that, uh, distinction between a speculative purchase on an open exchange and a strategic institutional acquisition through a private deal is the entire foundation of why the dumping narrative hold up. Ripple is not selling to the market. Ripple is distributing to the builders, and those are not the same thing. Now, let me get into the mechanics because this is just gonna help you go a layer deeper. All right. So there is one rule about what moves the price of XRP, and it's just one. And once you understand it, you'll never be confused by buy this narrative again. Price moves when XRP enters or leaves a public exchange. That's it. That is the complete rule. So when XRP gets deposited onto a public exchange, the available supply for trading increases. It goes up, right? And then more coins available means more selling pressure is possible. When XRP gets withdrawn from a public exchange, The available supply decreases. Everything else, every transfer that happens between private wallets off the open market is invisible to price because it never touches the mechanism that determines price in the first place. So let me give you a picture of what that looks like so it's concrete to you. Think about a wholesale food market, the kind that supplies restaurants, hotels, and catering companies. That market has a public floor where prices are posted, buyers walk in, and transactions happen very visibly. The price of tomatoes on that floor is determined by supply and demand. How many crates are available? How many buyers are competing for them? Now imagine a large farm sells 10,000 crates of tomatoes directly to a national hotel chain through a private contract. The trucks show up at the farm, the crates get loaded, the hotel receives everything it ordered. That transaction happens completely outside The wholesale market floor. Does that private deal change the price of tomatoes on the public floor? Not at all. And I'm hoping you know that by now after the explanation. Why? Because those tomatoes never touched the public market. They moved from one private party to another through a direct agreement that the public market never saw and was never a part of. That is exactly what happens when Ripple transfers XRP to an institutional wallet. The XRP moves, but it moves through a private agreement that never connects to the public exchange. So the price on that exchange determined by what is available on the public floor does not change at all. And now let me give you the math that makes this impossible to argue with. Ripple has sold over 40 billion XRP to institutions through these private deals. 40 billion. That is a number that most people cannot even visualize. But here's what makes that number significant. Public exchanges, the place where retail investors buy and sell XRP, have never held more than 4 billion XRP at any point in time. Right? So just let that sit for a moment. 40 billion sold to institutions and 4 billion ever on exchanges, somewhere around there. Okay. So if institutions were taking that XRP and dumping it into the open market, if they were selling it back into the public exchange system, where did the other $36 billion go? Exchange balances would've exploded. We would've seen wave after wave of massive sell pressure every time Ripple completed a private sale. The public floor would've been flooded constantly. None of that has happened. Why? Because the private deal and the public exchange are two completely separate systems. And $36 billion XRP, as a matter of fact, $40 billion has been sitting in institutional wallets off exchanges, out of the tradable supply, completely invisible to the price mechanism since the moment it was transferred. Okay. So they're two different sectors. All right. That is not a theory. That is what on-chain data shows. And on-chain data doesn't lie. So the dumping narrative requires you to believe that 40 billion XRP was sold to institutions who then quietly moved it onto the exchanges without anyone noticing, without exchange balances spiking, without on-chain data reflecting it, without any of the visible evidence you would expect to see if that was really happening. None of that evidence exists because the thing people are describing never happened. So what did happen is exactly what Ripple said was happening. Private sales, institutional wallets, strategic acquisitions, a private deal running completely outside of everything that most people are watching. Okay. Let me also flip this and let me say this because here's what I find fascinating about the dumping narrative is that the people spreading it are looking at something real, which is Ripple selling tens of billions of XRP and concluding that it is bearish. And that it is suppressing the price and that it's working against the holders. But when you understand where XRP actually went and why it's sitting there, the exact same fact becomes one of the most bullish signs in this entire space. And let me show you why. Think about a limited edition sneaker release. Okay. Not the ones that go to retail stores where anyone can walk in and buy them. The ones that go directly to the small group of collectors through a private allocation. Serious buyers. Okay. People who have been in the sneaker world long enough love to have relationships with the brand. And there's people like that, right? These are people who acquire things not to flip them immediately, but because they understand the long-term value. Now imagine you find out that 40 billion pairs of that sneaker went directly to those private collectors and the retail stores, the places where regular people go to buy, never had more than 4 billion pairs total across all of them combined. Would you be worried about those collectors flooding the market or would you recognize that 40 billion pairs are sitting with people who understood the value before most of the world caught on. The answer is obvious when you frame it that way. The institutions that bought XRP from Ripple through private deals did not sign NDAs and structure escrow agreements because they planned to dump it on the exchanges the moment the price moved. You do not build that kind of, again, legal framework around a short-term flip. You build it along a long-term strategic position. These are Treasury departments, asset managers, financial institutions that are accountable to regulators, to boards, to fiduciary standards. They're not day traders. They are builders. And what they're building requires XRP to function as operational inventory, not as a speculative asset that they're waiting to unload. So think about what operational inventory means. A shipping company doesn't buy containers and then sell 'em back when the container prices go up. The containers are how they operate. They are the infrastructure of the business. You hold them because without them you cannot function. When a financial institution holds XRP for cross-border settlement, it is holding operational infrastructure. The XRP is not sitting there waiting to be sold. It's sitting there waiting to be used. And when it gets used, it does not go back to the exchange. It goes back into operational cycle. Now here's where the supply conversation gets involved because You gotta see this as understanding where the supply-demand dynamics start to, uh, come together. Every XRP sitting in an institutional wallet is XRP that is not available on the public exchange. We established that 40 billion XRP has been absorbed into institutional holdings and never touched the open market. So that is supply that is permanently left circulating as far as retail trading is concerned., and it's not stopping. The OCC again just cleared banks to officially custody crypto. We got the Clarity Act. I wanna keep reminding you, and we got more institutions stepping in with private deals and being structured. So that means more XRP is getting absorbed into operational use and out of the tradable float. The float is the amount of an asset that's actually available for trading on the open market, and the XRP float has been quietly shrinking for years while most people are focused on the total supply number and concluding that 100 billion XRP means that the market is saturated. But the total supply and the available supply are two different things. Okay. When the available supply keeps shrinking and institutional demand keeps growing, that's not a recipe for a suppressed price. That's a recipe for the exact opposite. So the people who have built the dumping narrative saw Ripple selling billions of XRP and assumed the worst, but they never asked where it went. They never looked at the exchange data. They never traced the on-chain evidence. They just felt the fear and they let that feeling become a conclusion because sometimes people are just looking for something to be wrong because the price is dictating their emotions and all of the narratives in their mind have to align with their emotions. It's just fear. Okay. The real story is not that Ripple is selling XRP. The real story is who they are selling to and the fact that what those buyers are doing with it is removing it from the market permanently while most retail investors are being talked out of their position by narratives that are not supported by data. And, um, I think it's really a positioning move, right? You got all these, again, institutions that have XRP. What do you think is gonna happen when all of this comes together? All right, so these are the signals that I really want you to continue looking through. Now, I do wanna say this. Um, because this is a conversation about supply and institutional accumulation, and it leads directly to the question that you should be asking yourself right now, which is if institutions are accumulating XRP through private deals at these prices, what are you doing with your position while the price is still here? Okay. While it's still so-called suppressed, right? Which is a deal, which is a great deal to buy. And while you're thinking through this, the only question that comes up with a lot of people is whether to hold or not., but there's very few thinking about how to also hold it in a way that's gonna maximize what happens when the supply squeeze plays out over the next cycle or whenever that is. I'm not giving a time horizon, but I am saying it's gonna happen, right? And I'm not giving financial advice, but I believe with all of my conviction that it's going to happen. And here's the thing, you can be completely right or wrong or whatever you want about XRP. And if you are right about it, what are you gonna feel like when you still lose a significant portion of your gains to taxes, right? If your assets are sitting in the wrong structure, you are available to that. And, uh, after holding through everything this market has thrown your way, the volatility, the narrative, the noise, the last thing you want is to realize that your gains are now going to be flooded with taxes, having to lose the money to taxes. Okay. And so in order to help that with your structure and your portfolio, I suggest that you think about looking into holding some of your crypto inside of a Roth IRA through iTrust Capital, specifically because of this reason. The growth inside a Roth is tax-free. Okay? And iTrust lets you hold XRP alongside other cryptocurrencies and also, uh, silver and gold that's backed by physical silver and gold. These are real tangible assets. And you can hold them inside the same account so that your digital assets and your hard assets are working together inside of one tax-efficient structure. They also have another account that operates as a closed-loop custody system, which means your assets are secured in a way that protects you from the kind of exchange failures and security breaches that we've seen wipe people out. And you gotta think about as you— opportunities develop on certain assets in the future, that infrastructure is already in place to participate. All right. And so the link is in the description for that. There is a $100 funding bonus when you fund your account. And also, I do want to share this. I believe that the people who get shaken out of good positions almost never lose because they picked the wrong asset. They do lose because they did not have a strong enough understanding of what they owned to hold it through the moments that tested them. And that's why you're going to see a lot of people miss out on this. And so even the dumping narrative that we talked about today, that's one of those moments. I have heard of people selling their XRP because of, oh, they got RUSD, so let me invest in that. Or, oh no, the price will never go up because they're dumping it on the open market, which is not true. And so there's all of these different narratives and fears and different reasons that the noise is going to try to convince you to move before this all plays out. And Man, you're gonna, you're gonna look up and, and I really believe that there's a lot of people that's gonna be full of regret when they look back, right? And the investors that are gonna hold steady through all of this are not always the ones with the most money or the most experience. They are the ones who did the work to understand what they own deeply enough that no story can unravel it. And that is the work that we do in our coaching program and community. We build clarity, the structure, and the conviction to hold through everything between now and the moment this plays out. And so the link is in the description for that. And also for my one-on-one clarity calls, my calendar is open to you. Now, before I go, please put in the comments, let me know, did you even a little bit think that Ripple was somehow suppressing the XRP price by selling it into the markets? Be honest, yes or no, because I do want to see how many people came in carrying that belief, or if you heard of it before, and whether the math changed that belief for you. And also, if you have a follow-up question that this video did not fully answer, drop that in there too, because those questions help everyone in the community who's sitting thinking the same thing, and it helps me to know what kind of content to get out to you. Also, go ahead and like the video if it added clarity. Subscribe if you haven't already, uh, because we're going to drop videos every week, and I want you to be notified when the next video drops. And also share this video with someone who you think may need it because they're confused or they just want to learn a little bit more about what they hold. And as always, I want you to stay wise, stay wealthy, and I'll see you in the next video.
