The Fastest Way to Lose Your WEALTH? Falling for This

In this livestream, Dr. Kamilah Stevenson warns viewers about the growing threat of cryptocurrency scams and shares a live recording of a fraudulent "Coinbase support" phone call to illustrate typical scam tactics. She begins with a disclaimer that she is not a financial advisor and that all content is for educational purposes only. Throughout the session she recounts personal experiences with scammers targeting her comments, DMs, and even impersonating her online. She describes how scammers mimic usernames, send fake contact information (WhatsApp numbers, Telegram handles), create urgency, and use official‑sounding language and background music to appear legitimate. Kamilah then outlines concrete protective measures: only use official links (provided in her video description), never share seed phrases, enable two‑factor authentication, use cold wallets, verify email and link domains, and be skeptical of unsolicited messages. She also shares her own diversified crypto holdings (Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP) and emphasizes that institutions are increasingly entering crypto, making awareness even more critical. The livestream includes interaction with live chat, empathy for viewers who have lost thousands, and promotion of her community resources. The overall message is that fear is a costly emotion exploited by scammers, and by following her non‑negotiable security rules viewers can safeguard their wealth.

All right, um, what I'm gonna talk about today is gonna save your life, I promise you. I was trying to get my nose ring, uh, to align itself. What I'm going to talk about will save your life. Please listen to this. I'm gonna, I'm gonna share something, um, real in real time. Um, I recorded a video of someone trying to, um, scam me for my cryptocurrency. I'm going to play it in just one moment. I want you to see this because this is what they do, um, and I have been hearing some crazy stories. I mean, when I tell you these scumbags are everywhere. I just watched a video of, um, of some scammers acting as brokers and trying to scam an influencer uh, or his followers out of money. And I'm— I want you to hear exactly what it sounds like. And please, I need you to beware because I went back to my comments and saw where people had my picture in the comments trying to like respond to people in my comments and sending phone numbers. And I tried to delete as many of them as I could but I know that they're going to keep coming. And you just need to understand that there are people trying to steal your cryptocurrency. They're trying to take your money. They want you to click on links. They're emailing, they're calling, and I need y'all to be safe. So I'm gonna play something, I'm gonna play something in a minute, um, where you can hear exactly how it sounds. And, um, it's kind of funny actually, so y'all might like it. And then I want to talk about just very, uh, a very safe way, especially if you plan on having cryptocurrency, um, which I, I have. I own a lot of cryptocurrency. And, um, everything I say is, is only for educational purposes only. I'm not your financial advisor. Um, so what I'm saying, um, is just for educational purposes. So don't, don't take everything I'm saying, go spend all your money, lose it, and then you know, say that I told you to do something, um, that I didn't tell you to do. All investing is a risk, and I need to say that, um, so do it at your own risk. All right, I want to make sure, uh, that I'm in proper protocol when I say that, so I have to say that. But, um, yes, somebody said I got scammed out of $4,000. I need y'all to hear this. I'm, I'm watching the chat, um, not on YouTube, but I'm watching the chat somewhere else because I have, uh, different streams on this, uh, watching this video. And yeah, the bot sent a WhatsApp number. Yeah, Lakeisha, I'm telling you, that's what, what's happening. And I need y'all to pay attention to how this stuff works. I am so sorry that you got scammed out of $4,000, by the way. Um, my man, I don't want anybody to get scammed. I need y'all to hear this. I need you to listen to this so you can protect yourself. Um, that is— I, I've almost, you know, there's some people that almost tried to swindle me back in the day, and, and thank God, I just— something clicked in me like, this is a scam. Um, I am very, uh, real telly. Is XRP my biggest bag? I am very diversified, so I have a lot of different cryptos, some very hot, some stable, some medium, some extremely high risk. Um, but I love XRP, but I'm, I'm pretty diversified. Um, with, uh, especially with, um, as far as safety, I believe, you know, for myself, Bitcoin, Ethereum are all, uh, really solid plays. I love XRP. I love that particular utility coin, so I have a lot of it, but I have a lot of other coins too, so I ain't gonna— you know, I got a lot of other coins. Um, yeah, so in my chats, they are, they are trying to, uh, send Um, is just— hey Justin, what's going on? Chase bank fraud link. Oh my God. Oh my goodness. All right, y'all got to be careful. Listen, let me, let me, let me pray. I'm trying to see if I want more Bitcoin or XRP. Hard to decide. Oh, it is hard to decide. Um, my crypto, uh, my XRP has made me more money than, than Bitcoin, but Bitcoin is safe. It's a, it's a reserve. Why don't you do a little bit of both? I mean Um, I'm just— again, everything I say is just for— I'm just, I'm just suggesting, um, but it's your decision. I'm not giving financial advice, uh, anything I say. I'm not saying anything to buy, hold, or sell, or, or what to do, but, uh, I'm just asking a question, you know. What if you thought about— thank you so much, say, uh, he says, I love your videos. I share them with my ex, okay, and who didn't believe in crypto. She only seems to listen to him. That's so, that's so funny. All right, um Yeah, well, I hope she listens. Yeah, crypto, um, in my opinion, uh, you got to understand institutions are starting to follow crypto now, and so even businesses are starting to invest their businesses in cryptocurrency. I mean, if you're not exposed to crypto, I mean, and you're going to be in trouble in the next several years, and you are going to be probably in some level of regret. Again, everything I say is for educational purposes only. Um, but I have a lot of crypto exposure and I love crypto. Yeah, Sharad says, I love crypto videos. Thank you. All right, um, I want y'all to listen to something because this is what's out there. I don't want you guys to be fooled by these scumbags, these losers. Whatever they sow, they're gonna reap anyway, okay? I really believe that, okay? Ethereum all the way up. Yes, and I love it. I've been buying Ethereum for a long time when it was bloody in the streets. I Okay, all right, okay, listen to this, guys. Listen, so I can let you know how deep this go. This was a whole system. They, they— so if you have an exchange crypto, and I'm sure they'll do it with brokerage accounts and everything, they're going to do it with everything. They're just doing it a lot with crypto because it's easy for them to ask you to send your information, right? And so, um, Sometimes they'll send you something, they'll send you an email, you know, um, your Coinbase has been, you know, uh, exposed, or just something that makes you want to reach out or to, you know, hit the button or whatever. I learned this years ago when I had an Apple computer and then something popped up and said you've been compromised, or you've, you, you know, some— it was saying something like my computer had been compromised or whatever. It was a scam, obviously, and it had like an Apple number, like call your, you know, it's been violated or whatever. Um, call, uh, this number or whatever. And so then I, I called the number and somebody picked it. It wasn't Apple, but I didn't realize it at the— I instant delete. Yes. So when that pops up on my phone now, I just turn my phone off and then turn it back on, right? So it might say you've been exposed to a virus or just something, but I'm gonna walk through the steps because I need you guys to pay attention to this because it's getting worse. All right, listen to this. Um, this was somebody who called, and I guess they were trying to get my cryptocurrency. And I want you to understand how they play games like this. So, uh, I want to make sure you hear it, and here we go.
A representative will be with you shortly. Please stay on the line.
First of all, let me just say this: they have music in the background playing, like, like, you know, a representative will be with you. So don't think just because they have all of that that it's not a scam, okay? Just want to FYI. Here it is. It's a short video. I mean, it's a short audio.
Welcome to the Coinbase support. A representative will be with you shortly.
Well, y'all can't hear it because I don't have my mic on right now. Can y'all hear that or you can't hear it? You can't hear it. Oh man, okay. I wish I had— I don't have my mic connected right now. Uh, I should have connected it. I didn't connect it before this. Because I was just coaching. All right, let's see if, um, I'ma just—
Welcome to the Coinbase support. A representative will be with you shortly. Please stay on the line.
Yeah, this is Jessica. All right, um, this is Jessica. How are you doing today?
I'm good, how are you?
Yeah, I'm not bad, ma'am. So this— what is this call in regards to, ma'am?
Uh, it's in regards to a Coinbase-based text that I just got.
All right, no worries, ma'am. And did you initiate that?
I know I didn't.
All right, and do you have a Coinbase account with us, ma'am?
Um, no, I don't have one with you guys.
All right, no worries, man. Thank you for confirming that. And do you have any other cryptocurrency exchanges, ma'am?
Uh, not for the scam artist. Absolutely not, I don't. Um, this phone call is being recorded. I'm Officer, uh, Danielle. Um, we're recording your voice because we're tapping back this call and we're collecting the data for this call because, um, we believe that this is a potential scam artist. So who are you again?
Well, oh, now you're going to change your voice now.
Okay, wow.
Okay, okay.
No, you're already under investigation.
We've already got the routing to this phone, to this information.
Beep, beep, and hung up. So what I did was I made him think that I was investigating him and that I was getting, you know, tapping the phone or whatever. He changed his voice trying to sound like somebody else, like, hey, I'm sorry. Listen, y'all, the— they have the music playing and everything. Listen, I— you should have told him you can't withdraw your $10 billion. I mean, these people are crazy. But I'm telling you, uh, I'm, I'm telling you this because I want to make sure— oh, I hope my Uh, I'm looking at making sure my, uh, my Wi-Fi is still connected. Can you guys still hear me? I wanted to, uh, share this because this is exactly what is happening to a lot of people. And you know, I got people in the chat saying, hey, I lost, you know, thousands of dollars. I talk to people all the time who say that they lost thousands of dollars, okay? Um, and so let me know if you guys hear me. I just want to make sure. And so anyway, I want to help you to understand what it is that you need to do to protect yourself, okay? Because, um, this isn't going to get any better, I'm telling you. Like, um, it's getting worse. And I'm looking at the chat— it's getting worse. And I want to make sure that you are all protected, okay? So, um, if you own any crypto— good, I'm— thank you for letting me know you can hear, hear me. Somebody said I was muted. Okay, hopefully I'm not muted and y'all can hear me. I hear— I see somebody say that they can hear me. Okay, so I'm gonna, I'm gonna just go ahead and continue. Okay, good. All right, thank you, Gregory. Um, so if you own crypto, I'm telling you, there's probably a target on your back. Okay, the scammers, they are getting smarter. Um, they're everywhere. Like I said, um, they're in the YouTube comments. That is not me. If there's a number sent, I'm gonna walk through us how you can know and make sure, um, that you're not being scammed. Okay, so I just want to help you to protect yourself, especially with crypto, right? They're in the DMs, they're in the comments. Even when I go to other people's comments, I have to put something in there, watch for the scam artists. They're coming in, in droves. They, they work together, you know, in groups even. Um, so some of them are pretending to be me, um, and they're not me, right? So, and, and they can make stuff look very, very official. Okay, let me just be very clear. I will never DM you asking you for any money, any crypto, or to do a trade. I do have my programs, I do have my communities, um, I do have my official links. They're only in the video description. Now, if you like, if you someone on YouTube, yeah, I do have people, um, on YouTube, um, who work for me and in my DMs but it's only triggered when you contact me because I'll usually give you a word or something to send me if you want something or whatever. But I'm not going to just come in your DMs or come to you asking you for money. So just know that when you're on anybody's page or you're following somebody who's teaching about wealth principles or any of that, because that— those are the videos that they pretty much target, okay? So there's a few ways that they trick you, and I want you to know the few ways that they trick you. Number one, they mimic usernames. So So those people, but they, but they have my face in there, they have my picture in there, right? But they'll mimic the username. So they'll— it'll say, it may say something like, um, it'll have my, my username currently is @DrKamilahStevenson. They may have something like @John.DrKamilahStevenson. They'll have part of the name there but not the full name, not my name, not my name, okay? Um, and then number 2, they always reach out first. So if somebody's reaching out to you, I don't— if whether it's me on my page, anybody's page, that's usually somebody else. Even if you join a community, sometimes they'll sometimes try to reach out to you when you join. Like if you're a person who are on a platform called Discord or something like that and you join somebody's community, a lot of times somebody will start texting you or saying, hey, welcome to my community. It's not it's not the person who you join. Trust me, just be very careful. Um, number 3, they, they will drop fake content, uh, contacts in the comments, okay? WhatsApp numbers, Telegram handles, sketchy links. Um, they're gonna post hoping that you're gonna trust them because they think it, you know, they think it's me and it's not me. And I don't want nobody, you know, calling these numbers and then coming back thinking that this is me. This is— that is not me, and I want you to know that. And if you're again in other people's comment on YouTube or any other social media platform, just understand that that's usually not them, or that's usually not the influencer whose page you're on. And then also, number 4, they may try to pretend to be part of my team, you know, like, um, I'm Dr. K's broker, I manage her trades, I do this. No, that's not me, that's not nobody from my team. Again, scammers. Just be very, very careful. And then the last thing I want you to know is they will create some level of urgency, like act now or your account is in danger. The opportunity expires 30 minutes. It's like a fear-based selling. I don't do that to anybody, even in my own program. So just make sure you are safe. Now, I want to tell you how to protect yourself and your wealth. Okay, here's the thing. If a scammer— and again, I've talked to people whose accounts have been drained by scammers. If they drain your account, what's going to happen is you're not just going to lose money, you're going to lose trust in the process. You are— it's go— it's, it's like the enemy wants you to be afraid to invest. That's the whole scenario behind it. And fear is the— I've mentioned this before— fear is the most expensive emotion in the world. It has stolen more wealth than any market crash ever could. Okay, so there are some non-negotiables that you need to have in place to protect yourself and keep your wealth very safe. Rule number 1, only trust official links, okay? When you're, when you're buying a program, when you're out there, you know, or even if on your email, make sure that you look and see if it's Apple sending you something saying call this or hit a link. Click the, the name, okay? It might say Apple, but click the actual name and see what's under the name. You'll find that it's usually some kind of weird name or something. So don't— be very careful even with your email, clicking links and stuff, okay? Now for me, the only, the, the only safe links to my programs, my communities, my resources are in my video description. Scammers can't get in my description. So if you go into my description, all right, make, make sure you like this video, um, please. It does help me in the algorithm, uh, just please help my video. I, I'm doing this video because I really, um, know a lot of people who are getting scammed and I really want to make you aware so that nothing bad happens to you and your money because you guys are going to be very, very wealthy. You're going to have lots of exposure to crypto, to the stock market, to wealth-building capacities. And I'm telling you, there are scams that are probably somewhere in your future waiting for you. It's just— it's the enemy, you know what I mean? So, um, uh, make sure you understand all of my links are in my description, okay? They're in my description. Or if, like, if, if I'm someone who have a book call with you or something like that because you booked a call, okay, um, and I send you a link from from my customer support line or one of my team members send it, that is a different thing. Okay, just be again very, very careful. Um, they, they, they can put links in the comments, but they cannot put them in my description. So just make sure you understand that if you get looking for one of my links, go in the description. Okay, and there's a, there's a link in the description even now for my community if you are interested. I'll share a little bit about that in a minute. Um, never, for your cryptocurrency, never ever share your seed phrase ever. There's a seed phrase Uh, that when you're storing your crypto on your cold wallet, when you're moving it off the exchange to your cold wallet, there's a list of words that you have to have. Okay, those lists of words, don't ever give it to anybody else. This is the key to your vault. This may not make sense to you right now if you don't have a cold wallet currently, but it will at some point. It'll register once you get a cold wallet or once you understand, um, cryptocurrency and how to move it from the exchange to the cold wallet.
Okay.
Don't give anybody this. Then number 3 is don't click on random links and DMs, emails, comments, um, in general. Not just for me, I'm talking specifically for me where my links are, but just in general. I just want to make sure that you— if somebody's— if you send somebody a message or you're, you know, asking somebody about their program or something, that's different. But usually, again, they will come to you and send you links and stuff. Be just very mindful and careful Um, if you're trying to type in a website or something, type it in yourself, or save it on a bookmark or something. You know, one wrong click can connect your wallet to some kind of malicious site, okay? And the drain could happen in seconds, okay? Um, number 4, turn on your two-factor authentication on all your accounts, all right? Every single account. It's an extra step, but it is worth it. It's where you sign in and then you get another— you have to you know, give them a phone number, get a text, or something else like a secondary thing that you have to do. Okay, even if someone has your password, without a 2FA code they cannot get access. Okay, so that is very important. Um, I mentioned storing it on a cold wallet, uh, and then slow down when you feel an urgency. If somebody's pushing you aggressively, like scammers want to rush you, okay, they want to rush you, uh, because most people when they're rushed they make irrational decisions, they, they skip steps. Somewhere along the way, okay? So make sure that if somebody's like, oh, it's a now or nothing, you know, deal, is, you know, don't— just slow down and just make sure that if someone is pressuring you, um, that you just take a step back, okay? Because that— you can't make a decision out of anxiety. Nobody needs you making a decision out of anxiety, okay? I'm not saying you can't have— sometimes people are afraid to move forward because they're dealing with their drawbacks, their scarcity, their issues, or whatever, of, of never feeling, um, safe enough to invest in themselves. I'm not talking about those type of hurdles. I'm talking about a real push of anxiety rushing you, like, come on, you got to do this now, you know. Make sure it's your choice and it's your choice only, okay? Now think about it, um, when you grow— because again, I believe that you're going to be wealthy, I do, that's why I'm here sharing this— but when you're talking about growing your portfolio, that is only half of the game, okay? Protecting what you have built is what keeps you in the game, okay? Because it doesn't matter if you 10x your money, you 20x your money, if you lose it to a scam, you're starting over from zero. And wealthy people know this. They spend just as much time protecting assets as they do finding new opportunities, okay? And if you serious about building long-term wealth, you need to think the same way about this. Now, um, protecting crypto and, you know, your brokerage account is just the start. Let's zoom out for a second real quick. And I want to, I want to share this really quick and then I'm gonna, I'm gonna, uh, uh, end here. But this is very, very important because most people don't understand this. It— here's the truth. It doesn't matter how much you make. Um, if you can't protect it, you're not going to keep it. And wealthy people do things, certain things very, very well. And here's 3 things that they do very well that you have to understand that you need to do as you're building your wealth. Number 1, they always control where their money lives. Number 1, they always— you know how many documentaries I've seen where other people was managing and controlling where somebody's money go, and then they look up like 5 years later and then, you know, they, they thought that they had millions of dollars and found out that the person who was managing it and controlling it like took them for everything they have? No, you must be in control, okay? So Wealthy people, um, and I don't want you to do it either, don't just hand it over to someone else and hope for the best and hope they gonna manage it, okay? Now if they use a bank or whatever, they, they diversify a lot of times between accounts. Um, if they invest, they know how to move assets between platforms, wallets, and opportunities. They just, they're always in control. Number 2 is just 3 things, and I want you to notice. Number 2, they build, um, guardrails before they build speed. Everybody trying to get rich quick. All right, you want to build speed, you got to have guardrails. Okay, wealth is like driving a fast car. It's exciting, but if you don't have any brakes or steering wheel, you're headed for a crash. And that's just the truth. You are headed for a crash. So guardrails would be like the cold wallets for the long-term storage, uh, diversifying your assets, legal protections and insurance. Legal protection and insurance, written plans for what to do, um, you know, in a— for everything in a market swing or whatever, okay? Um, you got to even think about your will, how you have all of that set up, how you have your assets set up, your power of attorney, you know, get all of that organized at some point. Um, I don't even want to say at some point, get it organized as quick as you can because that is important. You gotta know, you gotta be in full control of your wealth-building capabilities if you have anything, a retirement, any assets. If you invested in cryptocurrency, you got to get that stuff organized. And the third thing I do want to say, because this is about identity, is when you're, when you're wealth building, you, you must stay calm in chaos, okay? The, you know, stuff like the scammers, the market dips, the viral hype, everybody overhyping on this and that, they all do trigger an emotional decision. But wealthy The wealthy, uh, or wealthy people in general who have— who are wealth-minded, okay? Because wealth is not always how much money you got. It's all about your mindset, okay? They do not let fear or FOMO run the show. And some of you may be allowing like urgencies, or, you know, uh, being afraid, or FOMO, fear of missing out, and, you know, like all of that. That's how you're making decisions. And emotionally, you're not going to make good decisions when you're operating like that, when you're operating in and, and all of these are different, you know, scarcity. And I'm afraid of the future. I don't know if, you know, I hold on to my money because I'm afraid that it's something gonna happen. Those are not ways to make good decisions. You need a plan, you need to stick with it, and you need to adjust with a strategy once you get feedback, once you get information, and not panic. I always say this, always collect data. Data is good. Data helps you make better decisions. It's always about information for transformation. Okay, you got to gather information. All right, and so this is why I want you to know that you must protect yourself. You must protect your wealth, your assets, your crypto, everything you have, your real estate. You have to protect it. Okay, protecting it is really a training ground. Protecting your crypto, for example, is a training ground for protecting all of your wealth. If you can build the habits to safeguard your digital assets, you can use the same mindset for everything— for your stocks, your business income, real estate, for everything— your high-yielding savings account, your CDs, your silver and gold. Okay, so here's what I want you to remember: wealth is built in two stages— growing it and guarding it. And we got to do a really, really good job with guarding it because it breaks my heart to hear about how many scam artists are calling and sending and, oh, we can do copy trading, just send me your money, just do this. And people are doing it. And, or, you know, I don't want, like I said, anybody to think that if they see a picture and I'm in there like, here's my WhatsApp number, give me a call, or whatever, like, I don't want you to think that's me. It— I, I'm so disturbed by that. When I saw it, I had— I deleted it. But I, it, you know, I don't— I can't keep track of every single one. My team can't keep track of every single one. So it's, it's hard because people are constantly putting stuff in there. I just want you to know it's not me. Um, don't be scammed. Don't be scammed by anybody, um, on any YouTube page. I know if you're watching me, you probably watch other YouTube videos. Do not fall for it, okay? I want you to know that. Please hit that like button. Hit the like button for me. Just do me that one favor. It really helps the video. It's your way of saying thank you. And if you're not subscribed, subscribe, because I am going to continue to release content that's going to help you on your wealth-building journey, help with, you know, exposure to cryptocurrency and stock market, the economy, all of it. I want you to build your future well, okay? Because that's what you're supposed to do. So please hit the like button and subscribe if you have not. Turn on your notifications. One thing I do want to share now, there is a link in the description Um, and let me share this, um, because we do, we do still have our challenge going on. Most people think honestly that like, uh, losing money is about, I don't know, I made a bad trade, I did this, bad luck or whatever. In reality, a lot of times it's just really about not having a plan. What I notice is most people don't have a plan. And guess what? They don't have a plan because they don't even know what they want. Most people don't know what they want. So how do you have a game plan if you don't know what you want? How do you reverse engineer back if you don't know what you want, right? You need a game plan. Most people um, don't have a plan. No plan. No plan to protect it. No plan to grow it, um, their wealth. No plan to use it to create real freedom. And so that's why I did build my 90-day, uh, Health and Wealth Challenge, to give you a complete blueprint for keeping your wealth safe, growing it with confidence, and building the kind of life where you feel like you're in control. I want you to be in control and not feel stuck. I'm also a health coach. I've been, um, a health coach for over a decade. I help, um, with reversing um, you know, chronic disease naturally. I take a natural approach to reduce the risk of any type of chronic disease. I've dealt with people with cancer and autoimmune disease and strokes and weight issues and metabolic issues. You name it, I've dealt with it. I've been doing that for quite some time. And so I take a part of that because honestly, if you're not well in your body and your mind, you're not going to experience life the way you need to. Even if you're not going to experience life in the way that God designed even if you have a lot of money. And so we got to make sure that we're in alignment, um, and, and a lot of this, a lot of the— like I said, the decisions we make comes from like our brain power, you know what I'm saying? So what we're going to be doing is working on your money, your mindset, and your overall well-being so you're not just chasing numbers in an account and trying to do the math. You're living the life God designed for you, um, with health, with freedom, and with joy. Okay, so we want to make sure your finances is Uh, all the way protected. Your wealth is growing, your energy is up, and you're finally experiencing life without the constant stress of uncertainty. And I know a lot of people feel like that.
