THEY CHOSE ELECTRIC SHOCK: The 95% REASON Your Brain Chooses PAIN Over TRUTH

A psychology-trained health coach argues that people choose pain over truth because confronting truth is psychologically painful. She cites the University of Virginia electric-shock experiment and explains how repeated harmful choices rewire neural pathways, but neuroplasticity allows new wiring through intentional habits and systems.

Hey guys, what's going on? Um, I have something tremendous that I want to talk about, and I think it's so important, um, when it, when it comes to why, despite all the information and all of the how-tos and anything, any toolbox that you're working with There's oftentimes where people feel like, I can't make the choices that I need to make because of not having the correct information or the right tool— uh, toolbox or the right resources. What I'm going to share with you today is probably 95% of why it is impossible, regardless of how many resources you have, how much money you have, what is at your disposal, how much information you have, why it is still impossible, um, to become unstuck if you don't pay attention to the underlying root issues that are happening way beneath the surface and oftentimes way beneath your awareness. I want to pull that up today. My background is in psychology. Um, I'm a degree counselor and I've worked with the brain for over 15 years in research, studying Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, right under neurologists. There's a lot I've learned along the way, and one of the things that I often evaluate is human behavior. And I want to talk about something that I think is absolutely important, and it's extremely vital to your success. These are identity issues. These are root issues that nobody is going to talk about, and I'm here to talk about it. What's going on, everybody? Drop in the chat where you are from. Where are you from? I want to see who is in the house today. Hey Joy, what's going on? Hey Danielle, I see you guys. Um, like and share this video. I often have more people watching the video than liking the video. If you feel like the information is valuable, then like the video. And if you want to wait to the end to do that, by all means, go ahead. Um, but I would really appreciate it. I'm here always serving you. That's what I desire to do, and I'm going to keep bringing, uh, wisdom to you and resources to you and keep, um, adding value to this community. I want to make sure you can hear me as well. Uh, but what's up from Denmark? What's up from Florida? What's up from, um, from Beach, Florida as well? What's going on, guys? Detroit is in the house. Connecticut, I believe somebody said CT. Um, let's— let me open this up a little bit. Brooklyn is in the house. Uh, bear with my voice, it's been shaky since I returned from the country and I didn't I just regret not taking my, uh, the, the supplements that I use, my traveling supplements. But don't worry, I got y'all. I'm here. New Jersey is in the house. Delaware is in the house. I'm gonna get started because I have some things I want to cover. And like I said, share this video. It's gonna— I wanna, you know, it may be a little bit deep, okay? Um, but not deep in a way where you can't comprehend it, but deep in a way where it— this, this requires real work, okay? And this is the work that 99% of people will not do, okay? It's the mystery behind everything that happens, um, when someone is in a stuck place and they're not able to get over that hump, right? And you see it in the title, Why We Choose Pain Over Truth. I want to unveil that, I want to reveal that, and I'm going to go to scripture to talk a little bit about this. So if you don't believe in God's word, this ain't for you, okay? But, uh, but I'm gonna use God's word because God's word is true, and I believe that it has the power to set people free if they can receive, okay? So I'm gonna mix a little bit of psychology, biology, scripture, and it's gonna all make sense. What's up from Atlanta, Georgia? Um, what's up? Hey Sonia, how's it going? All right, what's going on everybody? All right, so I want to go ahead and get started because This is important, and here is why I'm doing this video. Because I was talking to a friend, and sometimes when I'm just sharing, I bubble up and I feel passionate about certain things. And I started to ask the question, why do we hurt ourselves rather than face the truth? Why do ourselves rather than face the truth? Think about that. Why would a person choose pain over peace? See, there's actually a study on this, uh, I believe it was the University of Virginia. I hope I'm not quoting that wrong, but there was a research study where they brought in people into a quiet room, no phones, no music. They just had them and their thoughts for like 15 minutes, and if they wanted to leave early, there was only one way, and that was to push a button and give themselves an electric shock. This is real, and here's what happened. Most of the people shocked themselves. Some did it multiple times. Why is this? Because sometimes it is too painful to sit with themselves. Now I want you to pause right there because you may be looking at the study and thinking, I would never do that. But this is exactly what we do in life. Instead of facing truth, we'd rather run into another kind of pain, okay? We numb ourselves up with spending. We numb ourselves with food. We numb ourselves with busyness and scrolling. We numb ourselves with toxic relationships time and time again. And the Bible actually talks about this in Romans 2, and it's about how people suppress the truth and they allow for their convictions to be burned away. All right, that's what many of us do. And I want to talk about what happens when we suppress truth. Okay, now I want to start with Romans 1:18. Okay, share this video, like this video if you like what I'm talking about. Guyana from Guyana, what's going on? Hey Kimberly, I see you. Uh, what's going on? Hey. Um, Romans 1:18 says this. Romans 1:18 says this. Um, I'm looking at the chats, the— and I'll just shorten it just so you can understand. The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of people who suppress the truth by their wickedness. Now, that word suppress is important because you got to understand what it means. It means to push down. It means to bury or to keep from coming to the surface. So it's just, if you've ever been in water and you have like a beach ball and you're trying to like push it underwater, you could push it down for a while, but eventually the pressure builds and it kind of shoots right back up. That's what happens when we suppress truth. And we all do this from time to time. We know the truth about our health, we know the truth about our finances, we know the truth about our habits, but facing the truth hurts. It's painful to admit sometimes where we really are, so what do we do? We push it down. But when we bury truth— listen here— we also bury vision, we bury joy, we bury hope. All of that is being pushed down as well. Romans 1:21 talks about— for there's a scripture that says, for although they knew God, they neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Look at that. They knew truth, but because they didn't embrace it, their thinking became futile. In other words, when you reject truth, your mind starts to lose clarity and then confusion starts to take over. Now, psychology has a word for it. It's called cognitive dissonance. It's the, it's the inner conflict that you feel when your behavior doesn't match what you know is true. And because that conflict is very painful, most people choose to silence the truth instead of changing their behavior. Oh, it's inner work that needs to be done, right? And, and this is, again, this is beneath the surface stuff, y'all. And that's why people ignore doctors' reports instead of changing their diet. I'm exposing to you how this works, how this plays out. That's why people swipe the credit card instead of facing their budget issues, right? That's why people stay in toxic, toxic patterns instead of doing the hard work to heal themselves, right? Let me go— I'm missing some of these comments and I want to just glance at them, right? And so here is the danger in all of this. Right? Joy taking some notes. Joy and Kimberly taking some notes. Here is the danger, um, in all of this. The danger is that when you suppress truth, um, when you do it long enough, you, you sear your conscience. So your conscience becomes seared. Now the Bible uses that word, um, in 1 Timothy 4:2. Having their conscience seared with a hot iron. A seared conscience means you no longer feel conviction, um, you're no longer sensitive to right and wrong. You stop flinching at what you should grieve, okay? What should it— what should heavily grieve you, right? You stop flinching at it. It's cool. You're desensitized. You are, uh, dispassionate towards things that your higher self is calling for you to be. Right? And that's why some people can keep making extremely destructive decisions without even blinking. It's not that they don't know better— people know better, y'all— it's that their conscience has been dulled by years of suppression. This, this is a slow burn, y'all. Okay, now again, um, Romans, uh, Romans chapter 2 actually tells us that the truth is written in our hearts, okay? And I'll, and I'll go into this in detail in a minute. The truth is written in our hearts, and that our conscience bears witness with the truth. And that's why even when we bury truth, deep down something inside of us still knows, okay? That's why when you hear truth, it resonates. It awakens something that's already in you. So here is the reality in this: the truth is there, but if we keep pushing it down, our lives become darker, more confused, and more hopeless. And instead of freedom, we end up enslaved not to circumstances but to the lies that we've chosen to believe. I'm telling you guys, as a, as a person who has— like, like I said, and I'll talk a little bit about this, about neuroplasticity, um, but there is a wiring that is happening with you, um, and, and you're, you're almost not— you're pre-programmed. You're not even choosing your decisions, whether you know it or not. You gotta have such a hard stop when you're going in the wrong direction. You gotta have such an initiative power, right? A, a, uh, a discernment to be able to start identifying consciously the unconscious parts of you that are in operation outside of your control, right? So again, Romans 1 and 2:8, um, Again, and even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, the Bible says God gave them— because I want to dig into this again— over to a depraved mind, okay, um, to do what ought not to be done. So now they're doing what ought not to be done. Now some translations again say a reprobate mind, but again, what does that mean? It's a mind that has been so corrupted, a mind that can no longer think clearly, rationally, or morally. Okay, do y'all see that in this world when you look around? Do y'all see that? Do y'all see that when you— I don't get it, but I'm telling you, I understand the mind and the brain. But when you see people buying luxury cars and they have no insurance for their family, when you see somebody take a $5,000 vacation with no emergency fund Not rational, guys. When you see women rather show their back parts to a camera rather than their brains— not rational, not clear at all. Confusion. In other words, when you keep suppressing truth long enough, God doesn't force you. He lets you have what you have chosen. If, if this video is blessing you, just hit the like button, okay? God lets you have what you have chosen. He allows you to live in the dysfunction you've embraced. You embraced it. And here is what's very scary: eventually irrational becomes rational to you, abnormal becomes normal, wrong feels right. And that spirals, uh, people all the way to the reprobate mind. Let me show you how science actually backs this up. Psychology and neuroscience tells us something called, as I mentioned, neuroplasticity. That is the brain's ability to rewire itself based on repeated patterns. Every single time you make a decision, your brain fires neurons. And the more you repeat that decision, the stronger the pathway becomes. It's like walking through grass, right? For the first time, you're bending those tall little, uh, blades of the grass, right? But if you keep walking the same path every single day, it turns into dirt. It turns into a dirt trail. Eventually, that dirt trail, that's the only path you're going to see. That is what happens with sin. That's what happens when, uh, when truth is suppressed. You repeat bad decisions, and those decisions literally get wired into your brain. If you lie often, lying is going to become your default. If you overspend often or enough, debt is going to become normal to you. Debt is just going to be normal. Spending, just spending, don't have nothing, just spending, just going, just spending, right? If you eat poorly or often enough, sickness is going to feel inevitable, and after a while you're not even thinking about it anymore. You are literally on autopilot. Dysfunction has become cemented into your neural pathways. That's why it's very important for you to start making the right decision, even if you have to in the beginning use your willpower. Now, I'm not going to get all the way into that because willpower is never enough to keep you down a consistent path. But at some point, you gotta make— you gotta get your brain to start seeing different patterns and different decisions that you're making. And when when you allow dysfunction to become your neural pathway, toxicity. You know, some people are addicted to stress and they're addicted to toxicity. They addicted to gossip. They're addicted to toxic cultures. Okay, this is what the Bible means when it talks about a reprobate mind. It's not just about doing wrong, it's about no longer being able to discern right from wrong. That, that's how, that's how cemented this stuff gets in people's brain, is now they have no, uh, barometer to— should I spend this or should I save this? You know, should I, you know, take this trip or should I invest my money? Should I, you know, uh, do all of this extra, um, stuff? You know, like buy extra clothes and shoes and jewelry? And should I do this or should I set up an emergency fund in case something happens, or should I go get insurance because I don't have any for if I exit out of this earth and now my family has to figure out not only how to pay my debt but now how to bury me? Like, the fact that most people are not stopping and thinking about that already lets me know the dysfunction has been cemented in the neural outputs. Of their brain, right? And they're no longer even thinking about this. And the dangerous part is you are not even fully in control anymore. You have programmed yourself. Your brain has rehearsed dysfunction so many times, it feels so natural. It feels natural, right? And you justify it. You justify spending the extra money. You justify eating fried foods and unhealthy processed foods, even though your blood pressure is raising, you're already on medication, you know you need to drop a few pounds because it is weighing on your knees, there's inflammation in your body, you know that you're headed for a stroke if you keep in this direction, you know you're headed for chronic disease, for diabetes, or whatever. But your brain has rehearsed the dysfunction so many times it feels natural. The dysfunction, the bad patterns, the negative toxic decisions daily being made feels natural to you. But let me tell you something, family. Let me just say something real quick. Here's where the blessing comes, because the same science that shows how dysfunction gets wired into us also proves that new wiring is very possible. Neuroplasticity, it works both ways. And just as failure can become automatic, so can success. Now, looking back again, remember, uh, Romans 2:15. They show— the Bible says they show that the requirements of the law are written in their hearts. They're, they're conscious bearing witness, and their thoughts sometimes accusing them and at other times even defending them. You got to catch this. The law, the truth, is written in our hearts. It's written. That means— hear me out— truth is— I want y'all to catch this. This, this is the, the heart of everything. Brianna said, woo, truth! I want y'all to hear somebody Latai said, love you, girl. Love you too. Um, I want y'all to hear the heart of all of this, right? The truth is written in our hearts. That means that truth is not something that has to come from the outside. I'm not giving you truth right now that you don't have. The truth is already inside of you. That's why when you hear truth, something in you says, man, that's right, that's me, that's what I need, I resonate. See, I can't put truth in you. No preacher, no teacher, no counselor can put it there. What I can do is awaken what's already there that's been suppressed. Everything that you know you should be doing is there. It's being suppressed. It's being suppressed by the culture that you put yourself in, because people like to get around culture that reinforces the decision that they making so that they can feel good about themselves, so that they don't have to look in the mirror and really see the heart ache and the pain of the decisions that they're making. It's hard, it's rough. Jesus asked Peter, who do you say that I am? And Peter said, you are the Messiah. And Jesus said, flesh and blood did not reveal this to you, but my Father in heaven. Truth was already in Peter, but it had to be drawn out. That's what emotional intelligence really is. It's learning to ask the questions, to pay attention, to become aware of what God has already placed in you. You have the solution and the blueprint already to become wealthy. You have the solution to overcome your sickness. And here's where psychology and scripture meets. Just as bad habits, again, can cement dysfunction in your brain, good habits can cement success in your brain. Success has to be automated. It cannot be an effort. This is why neuroplasticity proves your brain is not fixed. It changes. It can rewire. If you choose gratitude every day, your, your brain starts to rewire towards joy. If you choose discipline with your health, your brain rewires towards strength. If you choose wide, wise, wise stewardship over your finances and with your finances, your brain rewires towards abundance. Okay, what you repeat, you're going to remember, and what you remember, you're going to reinforce, and what you reinforce, you will eventually become. And here's the catch: you've got to face the truth first. You cannot rewire what you refuse to acknowledge. You got— it doesn't matter how much it hurts, and that's why God lets painful moments come. Because pain has a way of breaking suppression. Here we go. This is why we choose pain over truth, because truth is usually not enough. You need pain, right? Pain has a way of waking you up to the truth that's already in you, whether you're in rebellion or not. Here's what I learned after years in psychology and research and counseling: most people don't change when they hear truth. They change when they feel pain. And this is why somebody will go to the doctor and the doctor like, well, you're gonna die if you smoke one more cigarette. And all of a sudden they find the strength to stop smoking cigarettes, even though they mama, they daddy, their kids, they friends, and research, and they know people don't talk— stop smoking cigarettes, you're ruining your health, right? They've been taught. Then you go to the doctor because all of a sudden you have some issue and the pain becomes big because it's the pain of death, the fear of dying. It becomes so strong that now you change. You can hear something for years— your health is failing, your money is leaking, you should not be spending this money, you should be investing, right? Your mindset is broken, but you don't act until something hurts bad enough. That's why people say, I've been hearing you, but now I hear you, okay? Because pain has finally brought them face to face with the truth that they've been suppressing. It's already there though. Romans 1 shows us what happens when we bury truth. Our thinking becomes dark, irrational, and even reprobate. Romans 2 shows us that truth is still there, is written in the hearts, and is waiting to be awakened. That is the— that's the blessed news. That's the blessed news, is that it's already there. It's just waiting to be awakened. And often it's the pain that pulls it up. The health scare that forces you to change how you eat. The financial collapse that finally makes you face your debt. The broken relationship, the pain that comes, that finally lets you say, I need to face and confront some patterns in my life. See, the truth never ever left you. It never leaves you. It's only suppressed. If you haven't encountered it, it's because you suppressed it. And when you face it, when you stop running from it, it awakens vision. And the Bible says, without vision, people will perish. But vision doesn't come from the outside. It comes when truth inside of you finally breaks through the lies you have believed. There are lies that you're living by that you believe, and when that is broken, that is finally when you can have vision, right? So, uh, here's the thing: we can all just, you know, keep suppressing truth, keep numbing ourselves, keep pretending until life just hands us over to irrational living. And some of you all are in irrational living. You know how I know? Because Because if you ask yourself, man, why do I keep doing this? Why do I keep spending? Why do I keep— you know, like, what is it about me that needs to, to buy this stuff, to code this stuff? What is it about me that is not dealing with my health, that wake up every day and say, okay, I'm gonna change, today is the day, I'm gonna exercise, I'm gonna do what I need to do, but I still find myself struggling, you know, to eat right, you know, run into junk food run into processed food. Like, there's a struggle. It's the irrational living that you just can't seem to break out of, right? That's from years of suppressing truth until now. You just, you, you just, you're wired. And it's hard when you go against your own wiring, but we can just go ahead and face it head on and just know that we have the answers within us. Or we can face the pain and let it teach us, and then let God rewire you for freedom after you experience whatever pain that's going to look like. It may be really bad, and you know what, that pain may leave you dead. That's what happened to my brother when he was on his deathbed, because he realized he didn't take good care of his body. And on his deathbed, when we, you know, was believing God for him to change He looked at me, he said, you know what, sis? He said, I messed up. I messed up. I knew what I should have been doing. I knew how I should have treated my body, but I just messed up. I didn't do it right. But guess what? You still here. You still breathing. Neuroplasticity proves your brain can change. Scripture confirms that truth is already in you, but your pain is the alarm clock telling you it's time to wake up. Okay, and if you're in any type of pain right now, any financial pain, any emotional pain, any mental battle, why let it get worse? That's what I want to ask. Why let it get any worse than what it is right now? You could be living the abundant life that you're supposed to be living, living your best life, full of joy, peace. And happiness. And I'm not gonna say everybody gonna necessarily be happy all the time, but joy, peace, and righteousness in the Holy Spirit. Peace that's a prize that, that surpasses all understanding, a peace that you can't even comprehend. You could be living in that, in that way. Many of you all are sacrificing being multi-millionaires because you're spending all your money today. You really are. It's easy, actually. It's easy, but you spinning everything. You don't want to take a moment to invest yourself, invest in yourself, invest in your higher self, not your lowest self, because most of you all are investing in your lower self. If you're not where you want to be, I'm not speaking that over you. I'm saying if you're not where you want to be, it's because you've been investing in whatever that space you've been— you've been investing in that direction, right? And if you ain't, then that means you're going to blame somebody and it's somebody else's fault. And I'm not here to make you, you know, make it easier for you to blame somebody for what's happening in your life, because that's not going to get you set free. The truth is going to set you free, right? So I do want to encourage you, and I want to say this: you don't ever have to stay stuck in the spiral um, like you're flying on one wing. You don't— you don't have to keep suppressing what you already know. You don't have to live numb or hopeless or, or blind to your future. You don't, because there is life beyond this. There is a joy, a peace, a freedom that God has designed for you. And the moment you stop burying the truth and start embracing it, that life is going to open up to you. I want to encourage you, actually right? Your health doesn't have to stay that way. Your finances don't have to stay where they are. Your mindset doesn't have to stay stuck in patterns that keep destroying you. But it also won't change by accident, guys. It won't. It won't, right? It changes when you take intentional steps. Now, if you do need help with this, uh, what I would say help getting out of the way of your own way, because that's what it is, then, uh, definitely come join us in our, in our community, in our Health and Wealth Challenge. Definitely stop burying the truth and start embracing it. That's right, definitely click the link in the description. We have, um, first I want to say this is a proven game plan to help you reset your health, rewire your habits, build the kind of financial freedom that gives you vision again. And for some of you, it is a wake-up call. You've been hearing it for a while, and, uh, but now you hear it. Okay, don't suppress it, don't push it down. We do have a few, um, spots left, um, uh, a few spots left at a special rate, um, but, but those are about to be gone. So, um, I suggest that if you are interested, that you go ahead and check out the information. Just click the link to check it out. Make sure you hit that like button, by the way. Um, but it— but all of that is about to change, so you, you have a small window of time and it's only certain slots left. But, um, click the link if you want more information about that. I'm just looking at the, um, I'm looking at the, uh, the comments. Uh, you're doing a great work. Thank you so much, Billy. Bill the Greatest, thank you. Much love to the Stevenson family. We receive all the love we can get. Um, confirmation. I know it starts with taking care of God's temple. Yes, that's right, Stacy. That's right. And you know, again, with, with, with all of my background, like, I love— y'all know I love the health world. I'm a health coach. Um, I love investing, um, and building wealth, um, for generations, for generations, not just for ourselves but for generations to come. And but I do know beneath all of this, I'm telling you guys Uh, you're not going to— you got to be programmed in the right direction, and that takes work on you. That is just not about— and I'm telling you, I could give somebody who don't have this programming yet, who don't have the wiring, I could give them his $10 million. That means nothing. Just the— those resources are going to mean nothing to a mind that is living in an irrational place. Matter of fact, it's going to cause more self-sabotage. They're going to do more harm to their body, and you'll look up 2 years later and that money will be gone and they'll be in more debt. It'll empower them to become worse. It'll, it'll reveal them. It'll reveal their mismanagement. So it's never what you think it is. It's really not the information. It's never what you really think it is. All of this stuff is identity work that has to be done beneath the surface. And people just don't— they don't— they don't want to put effort into that. And that's 90% of the work. It's the hard work. It's the dirty work, right? The real fight is internal, uh, Joy said. So anyway, I wanted to share that because it's a powerful principle, and I don't want you guys to think that, like, you know all of this stuff, you know, we talk about investing, we talk about our health, we talk about the things, the, the choices and the decisions that we should be making. But I want you to know, underneath that, you're the person that's carrying out your decisions. And that's, you know, you're stewarding over your own brain, over your own mind, over your own life. And it doesn't matter what those little things that you do, those tactical things that you do if you don't reprogram this, all of it is going to come crumbling anyway, right? Because once you step outside the boundaries of your heart, right, outside the boundaries and what I call the limitations of your heart, you will self-sabotage. You're coming back into the confinements of who you are. You will never outperform your identity. It's never going to happen. I don't care how successful you think you are gonna get— you're not gonna outperform your identity. And that's why you see people self-sabotage who are wealthy, right? Right. Because their identity didn't elevate to where they were financially. So if you plan on being consistent and being able to sustain your, your growth in a financial way, or your health choices You've got to reprogram you. You got, you got to reprogram you because you, you're gonna get in the way of your own self. Nobody's gonna have to do it before you, by the way. You might blame other people because you don't want to look in the mirror, but it's really you getting in the way of you. Nobody else is. It's you versus you. You versus you. You are fighting you, okay? Nobody else fighting you. Nobody else is fighting you. Not your mama, not the culture, Not politics, not leaders, no, nobody's fighting. Not your job, not your boss, nobody's. You are getting in the way of you, okay? All right, um, I know it's a real word, but, uh, I, I had to say it, okay? I had to say it. All right, well, I hope that this bless you. Please go ahead and like and share this video and put in the comment box, um, What are, what are you planning to adjust that you know, that you know you should have been adjusting, that you just haven't been? Just real simple, share with us. Because sometimes when you make that confession, it just opens up strength to you, and it helps you to connect with other people who are going through the same thing, and they become encouraged by it. And so I like to share in the comments Tell me something that, you know, man, I know I should have been doing this, but now this is confirmation that I'm about to start doing it. Share with us, right? Sleep schedule. Sleep. Oh my God, that's so good. I love that. I love that. I'm outside walking right now, somebody said. I love that because that is so hard, right, to get your sleep schedule together. Because, and I tell people all the time, my day starts at night. It does not start in the morning, and yours don't either. Your day starts at night, whether, whether you know it or not. You stay up late, you don't get the rest. I'm telling you, you setting the temperature for what your day is going to look like. Your brain power, your, your, your blood sugar levels, all of it, you know. Your energy levels. Getting more sunshine. Sun time is important. It's free medicine. Drinking water. There we go, you know what I mean? Like, it's that simple. Like, you know, you should be drinking more water, okay? I gotta make myself do this, okay? I don't care if I gotta put an alarm on my, on my phone and say, sip some water, okay? Sometimes you just got to put things in place and boundaries to protect yourself, okay? I actually, I want to say this, I have an alarm that goes off every day that says time to sleep, every single day. And even though I've been doing it you know, going to bed at a good time for years. I'm not saying it's perfect, you know, it's never perfect with anybody. That alarm still helps to, you know, put me in my place. Like, I, you know, the time get away, I don't even know what time it is, and then boom, 9:03, it goes off and it says time for bed. Because I, I really want to be in bed by like 9:30. So it's just like my, my last little nudge, like it's time to get in bed, but I have— it goes off every single day. So even when you have healthy habits in, in certain areas, you still don't think you too good to— you know what I'm saying? You rise to the— you don't, you don't rise— always say you don't rise to the level of your willpower like all the time, like, oh, I'm gonna make sure I get it done, I just got it in me, I'm strong, you know? No, no, no, you don't rise to the level of your willpower, you fall to the levels of your system. You got to put systems in place for yourself. That's where you fall into. And when you put those systems in place, they really do protect you. I'm working on not eating after 7 PM. That is amazing, because honestly, you should not eat at least 2 hours before you go to bed. 3 is even better. You're going to get better, uh, sleep pulse at night. You're going to get better deep sleep, REM sleep. You're going to have a better HRV. Test it yourself. I know what I'm talking about. Um, so your recovery is going to be better. Just make sure that you're, um, that you are eating enough during the day and that you're getting enough nutrients. That sometimes is the thing that people have to be concerned about. And then make sure you're loading up on protein early in the day so you don't have to catch up at night. You need enough protein. Um, so wow, uh, so good. Somebody said, I have an alarm set to stop eating daily at 7:45. It says to honor myself and release all foods. I love it too, Wendy 22. That's what I'm talking about. Like, if we just got to put the systems that we got to put in place, like, let's not think it's too small. Let's get ourselves right together, okay? We going into the last quarter of the year. Let's, let's, let's in— let's exit out of this year on top, y'all. Higher self, higher— nothing but higher self. These systems and these alarms and whatever you got to put in place is for us to get to the higher place, okay? And, and we just reverse engineering back and knowing what we got to do, okay? All right, again, make sure that you like this video, share it with someone who needs it. All right, so, um, again, listen, um, I want to say this before I leave: truth ignored are going to become chains, but truth embraced is going to become freedom. Which one will you live with? That is the question. I'll see y'all next time.
