This Ends The Bitcoin Vs XRP Debate FOREVER

Kamilah Stevenson argues Bitcoin's 5-7 transactions per second makes it unsuitable for everyday payments, while XRP Ledger handles over 1,000 per second with 3-5 second finality. She compares Bitcoin to a vault and XRP to a payment highway, then recommends holding XRP in tax-advantaged accounts like a Roth IRA.

There's a single number sitting underneath Bitcoin that settles one of the biggest arguments in all of crypto, and almost everyone arguing about it has never actually done the math. They argue about the price, they argue about belief, they argue about whether Bitcoin will one day become the money the whole world spends, but none of that is the real question. The real question is whether the network can physically do the job people keep promising it will do. And that is not a matter of opinion. It is a matter of arithmetic. So today I'm going to walk you through the one calculation that changes how you see this entire space and why it points straight at the thing that XRP was built for. Now, I'm Kamilah Stevenson, and around here we talk wealth. Go ahead and like the video and subscribe if you have not already. And I want to say, this is not financial advice. This is only being shared for educational and entertainment purposes. Do your own research and drop in the comments before we get into it. When someone tells you that Bitcoin will one day be the money everybody spends, do you believe it or do you doubt it? Or have you honestly ever thought about whether it can? Be honest, I want to hear from you in the community. I do own XRP and Bitcoin, okay? But, uh, I believe in the utility of XRP RP much more than Bitcoin, okay? Although I do have Bitcoin as an asset. So as a matter of fact, let me set this up very fairly because I want to clear this from the very beginning. I am not here to attack Bitcoin. Bitcoin did something no one ever did before. It proved that digital scarcity could exist, that you could have a thing online that cannot be copied or printed onto oblivion., and that invention changed the world. I respect it very deeply. Okay. But respecting what something is does not mean pretending it can do a job it was never designed for. And that is where this number comes in. So here is the concept that you need, and I'm going to keep it simple. Every payment network has a speed limit, a maximum number of transactions it can actually process in a second. The industry word for it is throughput, but just think of it as how many payments can squeeze through a door per second. Bitcoin's base layer, the main network itself, settles somewhere around 5 to 7 transactions per second. Not per person, not per country, per second for the entire planet. Now think about that, because when you compare it to the size of the world, something almost absurd appears. There is roughly 8 billion people on the planet. So let us actually run the arithmetic that is going to, uh, help you to understand this. If the network can confirm about 7 transactions every second and you spread that across 8 billion people, the average person on the planet will get to make somewhere in the neighborhood of 1 Bitcoin transaction for every decade. One. Not one day, not one year, one every several decades. And I'm not exaggerating for effect or anything. That is simply what you get when you divide the capacity by population. And when you see this, the dream of Bitcoin becoming the everyday money the whole world spends collides head-on with basic math. There are not enough seats. 8 billion people cannot share 7 seats per second and call it a global payment system. Now, I want to be fair again because the Bitcoin supporters listening have a real response to this, and I'm going to give it to you honestly. And remember, I am a Bitcoin investor, like, I have Bitcoin. But they will say that there are extra layers built on top of Bitcoin, like the Lightning Network. Which is a system designed to bundle lots of payments together off the main chain and settle them later. And that's true. The technology is there and it does help. But here is the part that does not go away. Every one of those layers eventually has to settle back down onto the base layer, and the base layer only still moves that same handful of transactions per second. You can build a beautiful towering structure of payments on top, but it all rests on a foundation with a very narrow door. And when the whole world tries to walk through a narrow door at once, the door is what decides what is possible, not the height of the building above it. The foundation always wins that argument in the end. So let me show you the other side of this, because this is where it stops being a Bitcoin story and becomes a much bigger one. When a bank or a payment company or a government sits down to choose a network to actually move money on, they're not asking which coin has the most passionate fans, okay? They are running a cold, boring checklist. How many transactions per second can it handle? How fast does a payment become final and impossible to reverse? How predictable is the cost? And the XRP Ledger was engineered around exactly those three questions from the very beginning. It is built to settle on the order of well over 1,000 transactions per second with finality, meaning the payment is completely done and cannot be clawed back, in around 3 to 5 seconds. That is not a small upgrade over a handful per second. That is a completely different category of machine built for a completely different job. And that's the whole insight I want you to walk away with. This was never Bitcoin versus XRP in some fight to the death. They were built to do two different things. Bitcoin was built to be scarce, a digital store of value that a relatively small number of people settle into and hold. XRP was built to be plumbing, the rails that millions upon millions of payments move through every single day. Asking Bitcoin to be the world's everyday payment system is like asking a vault to be a highway. The vault is excellent at being a vault. It was simply never meant to move traffic. And the thing that has to move the world's money at scale needs throughput that Bitcoin's base layer was never designed to deliver. The architecture decides the destiny. The networks built for movement are the ones that end up moving the world. Now let me bring this home to you because the math points in one direction, which is that the network built for the job tends to get the job. Even while the crowd is staring somewhere else entirely. So I'm not giving you a date. I'm not giving you a price or anything. I am telling you that the direction, the arithmetic is pushing. And if the rails built for settlement are the ones the financial system actually adopts, then what matters most for you is not whether the adoption happens. It is, first of all, which assets you decide to position yourself into. And the second thing is where your assets are sitting when it does. Because if you're holding on to the next financial infrastructure, you have to understand what kind of move that's going to look like, what kind of asymmetry advantage you're going to have, what the ROI looks like for you, especially when you're buying them at these prices. But if you're holding everything in a taxable account, when the network built for the job finally gets put to work at scale, A real piece of whatever you build gets handed straight to the tax system the moment you sell. That is its own kind of math that is completely different. That is going to be the math that devastates you. And it is also the part that you can actually control. You can actually make a decision on how to protect yourself from this. So here's the move that protects the upside that you're positioning for. The institutions building this settlement layer, think in 10 and 20-year horizons. And there is exactly one account an ordinary investor can use that is allowed to think on the same timeline without the tax drag, and that is the Roth IRA. You pay your tax going in, and from that day forward, the growth is untouchable no matter how high it climbs. So when the building phase finally turns into the usage phase, you are not splitting the results with anyone. You are keeping the whole thing. And this is why I do hold a piece of my own XRP exactly this way through iTrustCapital alongside metals and a handful of other digital assets in the same account. And they also give you a $100 funding bonus into your account when you fund it. Okay. And so you can take that money and invest in more assets. The link for that is in the description. And if you are concerned about your own specific situation and not sure, you know, what to move in what order, how to protect it, what the timeline looks like, if you should rebalance your portfolio, what to reallocate into, uh, then that is what my clarity calls are for. We're going to look at your numbers, your portfolio, your specific situation, your family, your timeline, and we're going to develop something that is personalized for you and your family to protect you in the future. All right, and so the link for that is also in the description. Also tell me in the comments, after understanding the math and going through, uh, exactly what Bitcoin and XRP are designed for, let me know what your thoughts are. You know, let me know how you see this going. If you feel like Bitcoin is the money of the future, is the, the financial infrastructure of the future that, uh, institutions will be using, or do you see, um, the XRP Ledger being used for institutions. I just want to see what you are thinking about it. All right, go ahead and like the video and subscribe if you have not already. And one thing I want you to walk away with understanding is that there are assets that you should be thinking about investing, uh, your hard-earned money in. Hopefully you are working and building your cash flow up, but what are you going to do after that? Because your purchasing power will be eroded over the next, you know, 10 years. And so if you're not positioning in something, I think you're leaving a lot of money on the table. All right, and so I want to encourage you to use this time very wisely because your family will be affected by what is going to take place in the future of our economy. So position yourself wisely, and as always, I want you to stay wise, stay wealthy, and I will see you in the next video.
