In this short monologue, the speaker advises that the very first thing to consume after waking should be a probiotic supplement taken on an empty stomach, followed by a wait of about 20 minutes before eating. They explain that probiotics support the gut microbiome, which in turn bolsters the immune system, and note that many people lack sufficient beneficial bacteria. The speaker also recommends pairing probiotics with prebiotics—either through food or supplements—as prebiotics serve as food for the probiotics, enhancing their effectiveness. Additionally, they mention taking apple cider vinegar mixed with water as another gut‑friendly practice. The speaker warns against excessive sugar, which can harm gut health, and emphasizes that maintaining a healthy digestive tract can help prevent food‑borne illness and general sickness.

All right, if somebody asked me what is the first thing that I put in my stomach when I wake up in the morning, what would I say? And what should you probably put on your stomach first thing in the morning? It would be a probiotic. All right, a probiotic. That is important for you to have probiotics. Now you can definitely get them in food, but it's always good to take a supplement because a lot of times people's immune systems are not well, and there's far too many bad bacteria and microbes in the immune— the digestive tract than it is good bacteria. And so I want you to start taking a probiotic as soon as you wake up in the morning. You put it on an empty stomach. I usually don't eat anything for about 20 minutes, let it digest, and then, uh, you can go about your day. Now, I mean, I take also apple cider vinegar mixed with water afterwards, and that's another form of kind of like probiotic. Um, but I definitely like to just take my probiotic before I pretty much get up and going. That's just really the first thing that I do. And I also want to say, if you're taking a probiotic, it's also important to include prebiotics also into your diet. You can get that through foods, but you can also get it through a supplement. Uh, prebiotics are pretty much the food for the probiotics, so it makes the probiotics work a lot better. Okay, so I want you to take both of those, start including them. And if you don't take one when you wake up in the morning, you should. It can help protect you against a lot of digestive problems and really protect you against, um, you know, like sometimes when people get sick from food poisoning and, you know, or just get sick in general, you want your digestive tract to be very healthy. It is your immune system. And so sometimes when people get sick a lot and they, you know, catch bugs and stuff like that, a lot of times it's just because they don't have enough probiotics in the, uh, in the gut area. And so, and of course, watch all that sugar because sugar will make you sick too. All right.
