So check out the links in the description. Now I want you to know something. The financial system that we're dealing with right now um, that we live in right now, it was not ever built to make you wealthy. And I'm going to share some things that I think is going to be powerful for you to know, okay? It was literally designed to profit off of your ignorance. So everything you don't know— hey Kimberly— everything you don't know about, uh, about the financial world, um, if you're not educated about certain things Everything that you do not know is going to set you up, um, for tremendous trouble, okay? Um, and the reason why is because, as I stated, the system is designed to profit off of your ignorance. So there are, there are the powers that be that are profiting off of your lack of education when it comes to being financially savvy. Okay, every time— think about this— every time you swipe your credit card and stay in debt, the banks celebrate. Oh yes, they celebrate. Every time you chase lifestyle upgrades instead of investments, corporations, they cash in on that. And every time you stick to a W-2 paycheck and nothing else— it's okay to have a W-2, absolutely— but I'm saying a W-2 and nothing else, the government takes their cut before you even see yours. I'm telling you, there are the powers that be that profit off of your ignorance. And the brutal reality of this is if you stay financially illiterate, you're guaranteeing that everyone else around you get wealthy before you do. And I want to talk about that today, okay? Uh, make sure you hit that like button. Um, it doesn't cost you anything, and it really does help me, uh, the videos, the algorithm, uh, this YouTube page, and it helps us to get more content out. Right? Um, I'm talking about this because I think that's a lot— that's a huge reason why a lot of people feel pretty stuck, um, because— and, and they're working hard, they're earning money, but they are unknowingly fueling someone else's empire, empire, while starving their own. And that's the reality of it, and we got to stop that. So today I want to break the cycle, um, I want to break this open to you, this entire cycle, and I'm going to show you why the system needs you to be broke and how you can flip the game so wealth flows towards you instead of flowing away from you. Okay, so, um, let's, let's start with this. Um, the, you know, as I stated, the financial system was never designed for you to win. It's designed for banks, for corporations, and for the government to profit off your ignorance, and they do it every single day. I'm telling you They do it every day. Now I'm going to start with the banks so you can understand how this works, okay? I'm going to start with the banks. Let me ask, um, I was trying to make sure I could see you guys' comments over here. All right, hey David, uh, how's it going? Rahim, uh, Patrice, all of you all, uh, beautiful people. All right, let's start with the banks. Now you ever wonder, um, how they build those, uh, those gigantic towers downtown in their areas. It's not from giving away, uh, free checking accounts. That, that's not it. And some people wonder, like, how do the banks make money? It is from interest, your interest, right? So for example, and I'm going to use a small example, but imagine if you owe so much more than this. Say you carry a $5,000 balance on a credit card at 20% interest. A lot of people are dealing with that. Uh, if you just make minimum payments, that $5,000 is going to turn over to $12,000 by the time you pay it off. And that's what most people do. Now again, I'm, I'm starting with a small amount. That— now if you think about it, that's over double the money straight into the bank's pocket. And while you stressing about bills, the bank is celebrating because your debt— here it is— your debt is their asset. Your debt is their asset. Now corporations, what about them? What they do is they often hire some of the brightest marketing experts in the world not to teach you financial freedom, okay? They ain't teaching you none of that. Um, they hire the MBAs and, you know, but they hire these people to make sure you keep buying things you don't need. So if you think, you know, sometimes little small things, uh, people don't realize how much they add up. So let's just say you doing $7 Starbucks you grab every single morning, and there's people who are like religious with going to Starbucks 5 days a week, that is almost $2,000 a year. And you think it's just coffee, but multiply that by millions of people and suddenly Starbucks has $100 billion, a $100 billion valuation. While you're wondering, wow, why, oh, why, why am I still broke? Why don't I have any money? This is how corporations win, is they frame spending as normal, as treat yourself, as convenient. Treat yourself. You gotta treat yourself. You don't work hard every day not to treat yourself to something. Meanwhile, your money is fueling their generational wealth. Why you treating yourself to something? They're growing in generational wealth. What are you growing in? Are you growing in generational wealth? And then you have These are things you got to stop and think about. And the reason why I share this is because I promise you, when I first got started on the one of the avenues of investing into businesses, it was because I was about to buy something expensive and I stopped myself. I just had a moment, an aha moment. I don't know where it came from. This was years ago. I don't know where it came from, y'all, but I just I was like, what if I bought some stock in this? Like, why am I about to spend another, uh, you know, $2,000 on, on this brand? Like, maybe I should put it in the stocks. And I did, I did, and I profited off of it. And so you got to understand, this is why I'm so passionate about this, because when I'm talking about just spending and spending on, on your convenience and treat yourself, that's fine. But let's, let's, let's set ourselves up first, okay? Because every time you spending, you making them wealthy while you're draining money from your bank account. And then you got the government. So again, if you are a W-2 employee, your income gets taxed before you even touch it. You never even see that money. But investors, they play by a different book. They play by a different rule book. They get to deduct, they get to write off, they get to delay taxes. And that's why wealthy people, people often pay lower tax rates than middle class. And middle class people don't understand why, because they're working harder, right? But wealthy people are working smarter, and the system rewards you for working smarter. Now here's, here's what you got to understand. You can't just sit back and, oh, I'm gonna blame the banks, I'm gonna blame the corporations, or even the government. Yes, they profit from your ignorance, but once You know the game. It is on you to start playing differently, and that's what I'm here to help you with. Because the truth is, every time you get money, you spend it on vacations, you spend it on luxuries, you get a quick dopamine hit. You're choosing to make everyone else rich before you ever build wealth for yourself. And that is the setup of the game, and most people never even realize they playing the game. You didn't even know you was in the— you ain't even know you was in the video game, right? And they're playing it, they playing it, and they playing it really good. Now, one of the things that we often have as a solution to this is let's just save. And I'm going to tell you why that is never the answer. You will never get wealthy saving, I promise you. Okay, so, um, if you're somebody who's thinking, okay, if I just save enough, I'll be okay, that might have worked, listen, for your grandparents But for you, it's a trap. It is a huge trap. Outside of having a little bit of a, you know, of course I always recommend emergency funds and quick access to money, but if all you got is a strategy to save, it is a trap. And here's why, because I'm gonna explain to you, y'all. I'm gonna help you guys out. Number one, the retirement crisis. There is a retirement crisis. Most people today are headed towards retirement with less than $100,000 saved total. That's not even enough for 3 good years of living expenses. I don't even know if it's enough for 2. And the truth is, is that Social Security is running out of money. I don't know if y'all notice, it's running out of money. And I think the government knows it. Now, anything I say, um, is for educational purposes only. I'm not here to tell you what to do with your money. I'm not a financial investor— I mean, I'm not a financial, um, educator. I am here to just share my experiences, and this is for education. I want to say that, okay? So, um, Social Security is running out and the government knows it, and that's why they keep raising the age. You're gonna be working forever if you don't do something. They keep raising the age requirements and they keep hiking taxes just to keep the system alive. They're hiking taxes just to keep it alive. But even if you qualify, the average Social Security check is only around $1,900 a month. Y'all gonna live off that? Are we gonna live off that $1,900 a month? That's not wealth, that's survival. Okay, now some people say, well, I got a pension. Let me tell you something, a pension, I believe at some point is going to be a thing of the past. Like, I have seen so many companies who promise pensions and they, it, they ran out of money. Y'all, you're trusting your— whoever you work for, you're trusting them to never ever run out of money. What y'all have— y'all not thinking about a different world. At some point, there's going to be what you call a different world, meaning things are going to be different, currencies are going to be different, and the old is going to be wiped away. The old paradigm, right? Even, even companies that still offer pensions, they can cut, they can freeze, they can go bankrupt, leaving you with absolutely nothing. So if your entire plan is hopefully my company or the government is going to take care of me, you are setting yourself up for one of the most tremendous disappointments of your life. I'm telling you what I know, right? So why saving doesn't work anymore. Let's break down the numbers. Um, and I heard somebody talk about this and I was like, man, that's crazy. Between 2019 and 2024, household incomes in the US grew by 18%. But in the same period, the S&P 500, the stock market, almost doubled— nearly 100% growth. Translation for you guys: investors' wealth grew about 5 times faster than the incomes of people just working jobs. The system is not set up for you to accelerate. It's not. Now let's go back even further. Let's, let's measure a good 50 years— 1971 to 2021. 50 years. Household income rose by about 600%. But remember, household income, uh, there were more people working because remember, at some point a lot of women didn't work. It was just the husbands working or the men working more so than women. Okay, so now it grew by 600%, but you also got more people working. Okay, now it might sound okay until you compare it to this: S&P 500 rose by almost 4,000%. So tell me who came out ahead, the saver or the investor? This is why I keep saying you cannot earn your way to wealth. You cannot save your way to wealth. You can only invest your way to wealth. I'm telling you, there are going to be some very disappointed people. We're gonna have to— those of us who are paying attention— thank you so much, Percy, for this, um, says I love these videos. Um, those of us who are— can I do a video on ETF? Yeah, that's fine. Those of us who are paying attention to this and getting our, getting our whole life in order, okay, because that's what it is and that's what I'm trying to encourage everybody to do. We're gonna have to bail some people out, believe it or not. I'm just telling you the truth. So just know it's just some people who are just so blinded. They, they are living for today. They are not thinking about any of this stuff that I'm talking about right now. They're not thinking about the, the how the system is set up. They— some people just so reliant, they want the government to say— they want their pension, they want— I'm telling you guys, that's not a good way to live. The world is changing as we know it, and we haven't even seen the type of change. Have y'all thought about the AI generate— like, when I'm talking about for real, like, when it gets indoctrinated in our culture, we ain't seen nothing. We have not seen nothing. The layoffs are coming more and more. There's gonna probably at some point be a huge crash because the system is— it can't— it can't continue when you got so much new stuff happening in an old wineskin, in an old culture, in an old way of doing money. It's gonna— it's gonna collapse. It is. Now, another problem I want to talk about is inflation, okay? Because again, it's the illiteracy. It's the fact that we're not even thinking about none of this. We just moving on with our little day, you know, just skipping away, you know, not paying attention. Inflation. Inflation does happen. And you know what? It will eat your savings alive, and it is the nail in the coffin Okay, because if you saved— like, for example, if you saved $10,000 5 years ago, today that same money only buys about maybe $8,500 worth of goods, probably much less. I dare to say half. Okay, $5,000 worth of goods. Um, I'm just being generous. Okay, but you get what I'm saying. The money that you saved 5 years ago could barely buy anything right now. Meanwhile, think about this. If you invested that same $10,000 into the S&P 500, it would have nearly doubled. The system is literally built to benefit investors and punish savers. Every dollar you leave sitting in a savings account is silently losing value. Every dollar you put into an appreciating asset will be working for you while you're sleeping, while you're snoring, if you snore. Okay, I hope y'all don't snore, and if you do, just, uh, get that fixed, all right? Because nobody likes to, uh— you probably don't like snoring yourself if you do snore, all right? Uh, I don't know why I said that. Even while you're sleeping, even while you're snoring, okay? There's a lot of people who snore, but, uh, I, I don't know, it's something about snoring. I just can't— I can't sleep through it. Um, y'all let me know in the comments, do y'all feel the same way? Do y'all feel the same way about snoring? All right, so retirement— we got to look at retirement different, y'all, because retirement is going to— a lot of people are going to have to work until they about ready to fall over and die, you know. And I'm not, I'm not laughing at that or making light of that. I'm just trying to— I'm trying to have a happy personality about this because there is there's a rainbow on the other side of this, okay? There is. And if you start to make the changes, I'm, I'm telling you, it'll be so different for you, okay? But the reality is people are working later than they should have to, you know what I mean? And, and when I say working, I'm talking about labor that they don't want to do. Like, if you retire doing what you enjoy doing, doing what's in your purpose, doing what you naturally have a grace to do, that is very different. Okay, then retiring at some job in some institution that you gotta work for that you already don't want to work for, and they not really paying you what you worth. Like, they're— most, most jobs are not paying you what you're worth at this point, right? So look at how much teachers get paid. Look at all the work they do. My goodness, they gotta deal with these knucklehead teenagers and kids, and they bad, y'all. They be bad, and they real bad. And, and then we got some that's struggling, you know, my heart goes out to that part, is they're struggling with depression and anxiety. The kids are even different, you know what I mean? And then you got the violent ones that's slapping the teachers upside the head, like knocking them out. I have seen so many videos, I just wanted to come through the screen and knock them kids out for putting their hands on teachers. But I'm just saying, like, we dealing with a different generation, and you barely get enough. Now you can make do with what you have if you do the right thing, because it's never about the money, it's about the mindset and what you do with money and the game plan and the vision behind all of it, okay? But retirement is not an age, and it's not an age. Retirement is when your cash flow exceeds your expenses. Now, how many people in retirement now? When your cash flow exceeds expenses. And the only way to get there is to stop letting fear and ignorance keep you in this 'I'm gonna save and pray,' I'm gonna We gonna save and pray mode, all right? And start— let's— we got to move into investor mode, okay? Now I want to tell you really briefly how the system rewards investors and how to join in, right? Because most people will never learn that the system isn't broken for everybody, okay? It's, it's not broken for everybody. In fact, it works very beautifully if you are an investor. Let me explain this, okay? Let me explain. Um, one of the things I was telling one of, uh, one of my coaching groups today is that you got to realize, uh, for people who get upset at how the tax bracket works, uh, for a lot of people where again middle class can wind up paying more than, you know, wealthy people, um, your income— all your income is not taxed. What— all income is not taxed. The only thing that's taxed is taxable income. Okay, so all income is not taxed. So when you see somebody who make a lot of money and they don't pay a lot of taxes, it's because all income is not taxed. The only income that's taxed is taxable income. Do y'all get that? Taxable income. What if your income not taxable? Debt is not taxed. So if you earn income from your job, you pay taxes, of course, before you, uh, touch it. But if you borrow against an asset like real estate equity or cash value in a life insurance policy— I talked about that in my last video, I think, go back and check that out— you don't pay income tax on that loan, right? And a lot of people leverage their assets and they borrow against them. So think about that. You could own a property, you could pull money out with like a cash-out refinance. And technically, that's debt. It's not taxable. So if you use cash from your asset, that's not taxable. It's not taxable income. It's debt, right? Or again, the, the right life insurance, you can borrow against that policy while it continues to grow. The government doesn't punish investors for using debt. They actually reward them. So if you use debt against your own assets, you get rewarded. Meanwhile, somebody else is working hard, getting a paycheck, and boom, they taxed, right? Number 2, um, inflation works for investors. So most people hate inflation, and yes, it does hurt when groceries and gas and prices go up, but the secret is, and inflation will benefit investments. So if you own stocks real estate, other appreciating assets, inflation often pushes their value higher. And that's why in times of high inflation, the wealth gap can actually explode, because consumers are watching their paycheck buy less and less and less while investors are watching their assets climb in value. They're getting wealthy during the inflation. And then number 3, the system pays owners. Owners, not spenders. Okay, so if you spend money, like I said, on us, on Starbucks, you just made them richer. But if you own Starbucks stock, inflation and consumer spending makes you richer. Meaning, if I own Starbucks stocks, I want other people to go and spend their money and, and They go— they are gonna get poorer and poorer if they're consuming and they're spending. But my assets are gonna go up because I'm invested in this, and now you spending money on it. Now don't get mad at me, this is you, this is your spending habits. I'm here trying to educate you and help you to understand why you gotta make the changes necessary. And, and don't get mad, don't get upset. Say, you know what, Well, I'm gonna get on the other side of this. I'm jumping on the other side of the road. See, that's the entire difference, is that consumers fuel the machine and owners get the rewards. That is the— that's the whole thing. And I want you to be on the other side of that, right? So how do you join the investor side? It's not by being a millionaire. It's by starting with where you are. What you got to realize is that wherever you are is enough. Just— I want you to know that where you are, I don't care what you got, I don't care if you ain't got nothing, it's enough. I promise you, I promise you that everything that pertains to life and godliness is within your reach. It's in you. The power to become wealthy is in you. It is within you. The kingdom is within you, right? It's not about being a millionaire. It's time to become creative. It's time to use our intuitive powers to make better decisions. God has blessed us with so much. I'm telling you, even the faith of a mustard seed can get you to the other side. You just gotta believe, you just gotta see, you just gotta have vision. Everything within you, if you can just change the direction of how you're thinking and start to envision something different, I'm telling you, you're going to another place. So it's not about becoming a millionaire. It starts with where you are, and where you are is enough. I want you to know that. I want to encourage you, right? You can invest in stock market basics, ETFs, blue chip companies, own pieces of companies that you already spend money on, you already spend money on, right? You already watch it. If you watch Netflix, you can buy little small slices of Netflix. Then you got real estate. Even small rental properties can build equity and cash flow over time. Now I know real estate is a different sector, and you know, sometimes you do have to have a little bit of leverage for that, but Also, you have cash flow policies, which is properly— again, I talked about this in one of my videos, go back and look at them— um, where you have prop— uh, properly structured life insurance policies that can be used to store wealth, to borrow against, to get income that's not taxable and still grow your money. The point is, you don't have to stay a consumer. You can be an investor with as little as $25 a week. You really can. It's not— you got to reframe, uh, reframe everything in your mind. Okay, um, so inflation is not your enemy if you own assets. Inflation is only your enemy if you only consume, meaning when the prices of everything go up. And we will have inflation over time, it's just a natural thing, right? And that's why the system can look unfair from the outside, but if you learn the rules, you can flip it to your advantage. Now, I want you to know, knowing is never enough. It's not. Once you know the rules, it becomes now your responsibility to play differently. You have to start playing differently, okay? If you know the system really works, um, let me just tell you something straight. Let me just say this, um, it's not your fault if you didn't know, okay? Nothing— most stuff that we have to deal with is not our fault. Honestly, some of our financial problems come from our upbringing, our culture, right? But it is your responsibility now that you do know. It may not be your fault, but it is your responsibility. And the truth is, financial illiteracy is a choice. It's a choice today. There are free resources everywhere. I'm on here. Subscribe, please. Like the video, like the video, like the video, y'all. Like the video and subscribe. I'm on here educating. I'm here to serve as best as I can to get as many people out of this rut, right out of this stuck place, to take back control of their financial wealth. The truth is, it's just a decision. There are books, there are podcasts, there's communities, there's videos. Like Y'all, ignorance is expensive. It's very expensive. And in 2025, there are just no more excuses left. Ignorance is too expensive, right? And, and we got all of these different things keeping people stuck. They're waiting, waiting on a raise, waiting on the market to calm down, waiting until they feel safe or until they have enough. And I'm telling you, you got enough. You are enough, okay? You don't need tons of money to get started. You don't need the perfect condition. You don't need permission. What you need is movement. You need movement. Some of y'all are not moving, you're not acting. If you find somebody, you walk down the street and you find somebody who not moving, and you just sit there and they just not moving, you think they dead, right? They, they— you think they dead. Being immobile is diminishing you. It's like death. Not being mobile, not moving, it's like death financially and physically. If you're not moving your body, you're dying, basically. You know, you're deteriorating. Okay, so you must overcome inertia because the longer you wait, the more you guarantee that somebody else is getting rich off of your delay. Think about it. Every time you put off investing, the banks keep making interest, the corporations keep profiting. They, they keep going forward while you're in delay. They're, they're benefiting from your delay. You're literally fueling someone else's wealth engine while yours stay parked. Going nowhere, right? Stop thinking about the money you might lose and start thinking about the freedom that you will never have if you do not move. You gotta move. You gotta act. At the end of the day, it's always your decision. It's always your decision, okay? Um, don't keep making everybody else wealthy, right? I'm challenging you. Listen, take one step back this week. Just take one step. Do something. Break the curse. Break, break it. Break it if you, if you're spending too much money, um, and if you feel like you just don't have enough, figure it out. Put it into an asset instead of blowing it off on something that won't matter even next month. It won't matter. You won't even know where you did what you did with it. All right, if you usually do, you get your toes done or whatever, you know, just don't get your toes done. Do your own toes. Okay, I'm just trying to make it so simple that it's just like, you can't fight me on this. You can't fight me on this. Put in the chat, I refuse to be financially blind any longer. I refuse to be financially blind any longer. Hey, from New Jersey, from Jersey. I refuse to be financially blind any longer. Okay, now, uh, I'm just looking at, uh, I don't know what to invest in.
