When I got separated from my now ex-wife in 2021, I started to go to therapy for the first time. Amen. Hold on, let's give that up. Okay. Seriously. And when I did, I started to say things out loud that I never said to myself. And it was like looking at this mirror. Like what? What did you say to yourself out loud? I'm too in tune with my ego. I'm too prideful. I'm too worried about me. And I don't care if my actions affect others. And those are things that I had to say to myself out loud. And it was traumatizing. Yeah. To me. And I was like, you know, I need to shift and stop this act of being a nice guy and shift to my purpose of being a good man. Yeah. And it was a journey. And I would say the journey to being a good man, there's never an end goal, right? Yeah. Your goal is to tap into your morals and your principles whenever your character is challenged. Because when your character is challenged and when your integrity is tested, a good man is not a nice guy. Mm. Wow. Listen, now y'all understand why I immediately picked up this book.
