Today is World Social Work Day, and I want to take a moment to honor my brothers and sisters and every human being out there who is in this field. You know, I was a social worker for 10 years, and let me tell you, that job is hard. It's about community, it's about empathy, it's about understanding, it's about listening. World Social Work Day is a perfect reminder to do good and be better in our communities. Dedicating your time to even one social cause can do so much good in the world and for our society. So go out there and be good to one another. And to all the social workers out there, I just want to personally say thank you so much for the work you do. Thank you for showing up. Up and going out there and supporting others. And remember, take care of yourself because you got to replenish yourself before you go out there and can give to others. And that's just a reminder to everybody as well— take care of yourself while also taking care of the rest of the world.
