Karamo discusses how she pretended to be straight and appeared on The Fifth Wheel to help her ex-boyfriend get cast on the show. Producers required a female partner for him, so she agreed despite being over the relationship.

Okay, let's start this. What y'all about to show me today?
This future politician's on the booty camp. Oh my God, how did you find this?
That was my ex-boyfriend. Oh my God, I told y'all about this.
Did I tell y'all about this?
Oh my gosh. Okay, so that light-skinned boy was my boyfriend at the time, and he wanted to be on TV really bad, and they wouldn't cast him without me going on. So I had to go on this show and pretend to be straight, and I was like, girl, I'm over this. I'm doing this for you. For you.
