Best of Karamo Reacts | KARAMO

In this episode of the Karamo Show, host Karamo mediates a series of intense, overlapping family and relationship conflicts. The segment begins with a teen (Samaria) describing being kicked out of her home, forced to care for a young nephew, and repeatedly called by police, revealing a pattern of parental neglect, probation, and past sexual exploitation for shelter. The mother‑daughter dynamic is explored, highlighting verbal abuse, accusations of being called a "hoe," and the mother’s alleged use of a wheelchair to garner sympathy. Karamo repeatedly emphasizes the need for consistent parenting, old‑school values, and the importance of children feeling safe. The show then shifts to a couple (Doug and LaToya) dealing with paternity doubts. DNA test envelopes are opened on‑stage, revealing that several children are not biologically related to the father, leading to accusations of infidelity, secret phone activity, and explicit videos. Karamo’s "Unlock the Phone" investigation uncovers text messages, DMs, and sexual videos, prompting confrontations about trust, phone privacy, and the impact of hidden relationships on children. Throughout, Karamo intersperses commentary on audience reactions, social media comments, and his own style (e.g., discussing tattoos, fashion, and his "old‑school" approach). He offers advice on self‑reliance, avoiding relationship sabotage, and seeking external resources for teens facing abuse. The episode ends with Karamo urging viewers to seek help, emphasizing forgiveness, and promoting his DNA testing service for clarity in family disputes. Key takeaways: 1) Parental neglect and verbal abuse can push teens into dangerous survival strategies. 2) DNA testing can expose hidden paternity, leading to severe relational fallout. 3) Phone privacy invasions are a red flag for relationship toxicity. 4) Karamo’s mediation style blends confrontational questioning with audience engagement, aiming to provide emotional validation and practical resources.
Chapters
What we watching? What was the inappropriate question that your alleged father asked you? Oh, did I just have a threesome with my father? Ah, remember this one?
Well, I was around 20, my late 20s. He asked me to have a threesome with him and a woman.
Oh my gosh.
That he was messing with. We was—
So this is my thing. Right here, you see when she says, I might have threesome with my father, he's very calm. Because he's listening backstage. He's just like, mm-hmm. Yeah, she said it.
We was on drugs at the time and a little intoxicated, but I went through with it, but I felt uncomfortable and I just gave up. I couldn't do it, you know? And that's about all I remember from that.
Oh my gosh, girl. I'm giving y'all a little look right here. Them little feather look glasses. Somebody give me a date. Oh my gosh. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry. I understand that drugs and things were at play, but that must have been the hardest moment even after you'd gotten sober to deal with.
Yeah.
So you did go through that threesome?
I started out with it, but I didn't go through with it.
Got it. How long have you considered Mel to be your father?
All my life.
I mean, the fact that this man has always been her father her entire life.
That's all I knew.
All your life. And how has Mel been as a father? I wonder what's making him emotional backstage. See, this is the one thing I'll tell you this is that I don't know what the guests are doing backstage. And so I wish I would know, like I wish I had a camera to see them emotional on stage.
Oh, he just in and out my life. You know, he come like once a year.
Once a year.
Just pop up outta nowhere into my life.
Yeah, yeah. Have you ever told anybody, told anyone that he had asked you for that threesome?
I told my mom, but she hardly listened to me.
Okay, she didn't listen to you. What did she say when you told her?
Well, you know, she believed it because she hate him so much, you know? So she like, I told you that wasn't your daddy.
So the interesting part is, and these are notes that I was taking, is that when someone says, well, I told my mom about something traumatic that happened to me and she didn't care and she deflected and her only question was, well, he's not your father. It shows me immediately that the mother's not really there for her daughter's emotional growth and emotional wellbeing. Because if my child calls me and says something happening to them, I'm not gonna be worried about, that's not your father. I'm gonna say, how are you? What do you need to be supported? What do you need to feel better? And she didn't receive that, which also leads to why she's sitting on my stage. So that only confirmed for her that like, this man is not your father.
Well, all my life she's been telling me this man's my father. She just thought, said that he's not my father like 10 years ago. She started saying, "That's not your father. I know who your father is." Got it, okay then.
Has your mother tried to stop you from seeing Mel?
All the time. Every time I call him or he'll call me, she always be like, "Kiki, that's not your daddy. You need to stop talking to that punk. He's not your daddy." Well, why would you keep telling me that man is my daddy all my life?
Yeah, and all of a sudden switch up.
Yeah, now 'cause you mad at him, he's not my father. Just don't make sense.
Got it. How's all this affected you?
It affected me terribly. I just can't function sometimes. I done got on drugs even more. I just, I'm a person, I just, I don't know, I just stay to myself.
Poor baby. The fact that after this traumatic event she's isolating, she is using, I mean, the behaviors that she's experiencing I just feel like nobody don't care. Yeah.
So that's why I'm really here to find out this man's my father or not.
Yeah. Well, I will tell you this. I'm glad that you came here because I do care. And I'm thankful that you felt safe enough to talk to me and talk to my producers because we do wanna give you the answers. We wanna make sure you feel seen and we wanna make sure you walk away here a little bit better than you found you. Well, I think it's time to hear what Mel has to say about all this. So please welcome your alleged father, Mel, to the show. Can you come take a seat for me? Thank you for being here, Mel. Yes, sir. How does it make you feel about what was just said? I was hurt. I'm just hurting by all. He's hurting by what he heard. She done been through, and I just thank God for this day that she get a chance to see the real deal here. Do you believe that you're her father? Yes. Not 50%, 100%. You're 100% sure. So if you're 100% sure, why did you ask your daughter for a threesome? I asked my daughter for a threesome? See, this is the part that gets me. Because when you were backstage and you heard it, you did not react. Your body language let me know that you remembered. And now in front of us in the audience, myself in the audience, you're trying to pretend as if you don't remember because you're embarrassed. But what the response should have been is, If there was ever a moment that you remember that experience like that, I'm so sorry. See, I think we forget that when a child in our lives or someone has shared something with us in their lives that they say is their experience, it's not our point to debate their experience. It's to say, I apologize. If that's what you experienced, I am so sorry. Because especially when drugs, alcohol were involved, you're not gonna have a clear memory or state of mind to understand what happened.
A little while back when we was in the trailer and we was intoxicated, Eddie. We was high drunk.
Back then, we was getting drunk and getting high, everything.
It was like we started out, but we never went through with it.
It's something I don't know about.
You don't remember?
I don't remember that. Okay. So the drugs and addiction for you just blanked out your mind. How many years were you two using together?
We really didn't use together like that in years. I was the one using. I came around my dad and I think I pushed it on him, so.
Got it, okay.
'Cause I was out there, I was intoxicated, I was in a strip club.
Okay.
I was just, I was out there.
So how much during that time did you two use together?
We only did it like once or twice.
Once or twice. Also, by the way, it's wild to me that you're using with your child. You know, if you ever watched my Co-Parenting Unlocked series with me and my son's mother, Stephanie, you should click and watch that episode. We talk about the fact that she and I have different points of view when it comes to like, you know, smoking weed with your child. Of course, they're talking about doing something a lot deeper, but I don't feel like there should ever be a place where a parent and child should engage in anything like that because there's a boundary that should always be held. When that boundary gets crossed, that's when things get a little murky. Hearing your daughter tell you that, or your potential daughter tell you that now, what does it make you feel?
That's what even, that's what made me have my daughter.
I feel like that's something her mother probably put in her mind. Say, I don't, there ain't no way in the world. It shocked me. I'm there and I hear somebody.
I was very intoxicated that day.
I had just left the club. You just don't wanna make a bad look for your mama, what she done, what she put in her head.
That it is something that in her brain.
Never, I never, never did say that.
God never went through with it, so why?
Why would you still deal with me?
I wanna know, Daddy.
So can I tell you something? He just said something. Why would you still deal with me if I did these things? Let me tell y'all, pause before we get to the mama real quick. Okay, 'cause I want y'all to understand this. She just said, the father just said, why would you still deal with me if I did these things? And she said, because you're still my dad. Now there's a term that is often misused, which is trauma bonding. And people think trauma bonding is because I went through some stuff and you went through stuff and our stuff that we went through is similar, we're coming together. What trauma bonding actually is, the true definition, is when someone who's been abused actually still is in love and still needs validation from their abuser. They're still looking and seeking for validation and connection with their abuser. It's about someone who's been abused and the person who's been abusing them, not about two people who have the same trauma. And so when you see this woman talking about the fact that even though my father and I did drugs, he might have been the one to like make me have a threesome with him, all these different things. This is similar to trauma bonding where it's like, even though you've done these things and you've hurt me, I still need to be around you. I still want to validate— validation from you, I still want love from you. So, just want to be clear about that before we get into this, mama. So, you can get that definition because girl, y'all love being on the internet talking about, yeah, me and my boyfriend trauma bonded. Unless he abusing you and you're sticking around, y'all ain't trauma bonded, okay. Thank you, that's my little PSA. Now to back to mama. Please welcome her to the show. Dorothy, I thank you for being here. I see that you're emotional. What's making you emotional?
Well, number one, my daughter is in my heart right now. And the man that's sitting next to her, he's a liar. He one of the biggest liars on earth.
So why are you saying that Mel isn't Cheryl's father?
Because he can't make kids. He don't have no children.
Why can't he make kids from your point of view?
Okay, when he was a little boy, he lived in New York. His mother used to make lye a lot.
Do y'all know what make lye is?
He came in one day.
Is that the cleaning stuff? You talking about the cleaning stuff?
Lye, you know, your makeup lye?
Oh yeah. You make it up with acid.
It was sitting on the step and he got it. He thought it was water. He drunk it. And when he found out it wasn't water, they rushed him to the hospital up in New York. He was there for 4 months to keep him alive. He got cat guts right now sitting on that chair.
Is this true? Is this true? No. You went to a hospital and you're saying that the hospital gave him, instead of getting a transplant with human organs, they gave him cat organs is what you're saying?
Right.
I just wanna be clear.
You can't give children.
That's what she suggests.
You can't give no kids.
Girl, where she come up with this type of? The stories that people tell themselves and repeat to themselves and they start to believe in. Does she think that a hospital gave this man cat organs and that's why he can't have children? Mel, your son Howard is in the audience.
Yes.
So everyone please welcome Howard to the stage. He said I can't have no kids. So I'm gonna ask you, how do you feel about what was just said? I can't have no kids, this shit going to kill. How do you feel about what has been said on the stage? Standing here today, I heard a lot that I really didn't know about. Sister, I want to say I'm sorry for everything that you have been through. So this is a clear example of somebody who wants to heal and wants healthier boundaries in the family. His first thing when I asked him, how do you feel about what you hear? His first response is, sister, I'm so sorry what you've been through and what you're going through. That's so beautiful. I didn't know half of this. But on my test, I'm 100% sure that my dad is my dad. I look just like him. So you don't have any doubts about him being your father? No, no. Because I wanna let everybody at home know, not only are we here testing you, Cheryl, we've also tested you as well, Howard, because of the fact that Dorothy makes claims that he can't have any kids. Yeah, she told me. And since you've been told that as well, that he can't have any kids, to give everyone clarity, we've tested you as well. What happened when you were 8 years old? 8 years old, we was— Tell it. I had stayed with Ms. Dyett and she told me, she said, "I wanna talk to you." And when she talked to me, she told me that he was not my father, that he cannot have me.
You're my dad.
Go ahead. And his brother is my dad. How sad is it that a mother, a woman, an adult would talk to a child and tell them, an 8-year-old, that the person you think is your father is not your father. Why rip a child's security and stability away like that? Both of those children, those two, these two human beings in front of me, all I see is two kids hugging. All I see is like two little 6-year-olds just hugging and saying like, my gosh, we trying to figure out this. And like the ramifications of these choices of these adults that are still affecting these poor babies is just heartbreaking. I'm so glad they are there for each other. At 8 years old, you were told that. Yes, sir. You know, Howard, I actually want you to come down here and come on stage. Told my other daughter that too, same day.
He just said his brother is his dad. I know you. I'm sorry for everything.
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, son. So Dorothy is not your mother, correct? No. Yeah, okay. Well, I think before we can get to any other Healing, we still need to get these first answers. And I think it's important for us to, let's start with you, Howard. Howard, in this envelope is the DNA truth. This is your truth to open, not mine. So I'll give that to you.
I'll do the honors for you.
Thank you.
'Cause I love you.
I love you too.
And today we gonna find out the truth.
Yes, we are. Thank you, Jesus. He look like him. They got the same eyes and nose. That gotta be his father.
You ready?
Yes. Like it.
Howard, Mel is your biological— Oh Lord Jesus.
So that woman told an 8-year-old something that ruined him and made him feel like, where do I belong? Years, years of him having to deal with that trauma and pain. I'm glad that he got his answers there. You gonna come to the light. You gonna come to the light. You big liar. This the day you plead my charge. That's not true.
That's not true.
Big liar. You hurt me all these many years, but the truth gonna come out. Dorothy. God said what go in the dark come to the light. Well, he said what God said comes to the dark come to light. Girl, what you did in the dark with your daughter just came to light and you didn't acknowledge it. So Dorothy, we do know that you said that, you did say that Mel cannot have any children. You said that he was not able because of something that happened as a child. We now know, Dorothy, that Mel can have children.
That's impossible.
Impossible, girl. Well, it's not impossible anymore. So I think now you have to understand that it is possible and it is the truth. This is his child. We're gonna show everybody, see a big lie. So I'm gonna ask you, Dorothy, before we go any further, is there anything that you wanna say to Howard? Because from his perspective at 8 years old, you told him that that was not his father. See a big lie. I believed it.
Well, that's what his mother said.
You gotta doubt in your heart.
I'm going by what his mother told me. Big liar.
Okay, though his mother's not here, and rest in peace, I want to make sure that you who are living and knowing that you did take a hand in this, do you want to give an apology for burdening him with that? He just said that he spent his life thinking that was the truth.
Mm-mm.
Ugh, she said mm-mm. It just kills me when I try to give adults, I give adults the opportunity to just acknowledge and rectify and just make amends and they just can't. It just breaks my heart. It's like, come on. Their fear of being wrong or acknowledging what they did is so great that they'd rather just like keep the pain going.
I don't.
Okay. She didn't wanna apologize? All right, she said she does not wanna apologize. Okay, so in this envelope here, Cheryl, is your DNA truth. Again, you were told some of your life that this is your father. Then you were told other parts that this is not your father. What? So here you go. This is your truth to open now. Can I say something before you do this? Can I say something to you? Of course you can. Let me just say something for you.
Mama? It's all about this test right now.
Daddy?
This test, if I open this test up and this man my father, I'm gonna be really pissed at you, Mom. I'm gonna be really pissed at you.
That's right. What is it? That gotta be her daddy. Oh my gosh.
Cheryl, Mel is your biological father.
Do y'all hear that guttural scream? That was a child letting out so much pain. Oh my gosh. Oh, that guttural scream. Oh, that just still gave me chills hearing that scream.
That can't be possible.
This— oh my gosh, his mother is still denying it. I love you, buddy.
From this moment on, Mama, you cannot— oh Lord Jesus, this is something you got to accept, Mom.
I mean, the fact that this mother is Sitting here and she is not willing to acknowledge what she did is hard. It is so hard.
I love you, but this is something you got to accept.
I'm gonna retest that. Not retest it as if we— Why can't you accept this and apologize to your daughter for the lies that you've said to her?
It wasn't lies.
It was lies. Well, Cheryl, it is lies because it has been confirmed that that is her father, that Mel is her father. You said even on this stage—
I don't know why I was pregnant while I wasn't with him.
So what this does lead me to believe, to be very honest with you, is that there was something that went on with their childhood. There was something happening there. And so she's also trying to disassociate on top of the fact that she's lying. But there's, I can see there's something in her life. I will tell you this. I will tell you this though. I was a little disappointed by the fact that the father is being celebrated because clearly, this is what I mean. We're focused on the mother's bad behavior right now because she doesn't wanna acknowledge, but we gotta forget that this episode started with my father and I did drugs and he asked me to do a threesome with him. And he then said, I don't remember that, never apologized, never did anything. And yet she's hugging him, embracing him, and she's not gonna get closure from that. And so what I've learned is the dynamic in this family was very easy to make one person, one parent the villain that allowed the other parent to seem as if they were the, I'm okay. Look, my behavior's not as bad. Look what she does. She's a liar. She does this. And I think we have to make sure that we're conscious of the fact that both parents are exhibiting really negative toxic behavior. And this young woman in the middle has to understand, if you're watching this, that just as much as you want your mother to step up and take accountability, you must demand that from this man who is your father. Because just loving on him and looking for this validation is not gonna help you to heal. Because at the end of the day, what he did and how he engaged with you and how the boundaries he overstepped was wrong. Did she hang up the feed? She probably did. She hung up the feed. She can't deal with the truth. Yeah, she hung up the phone.
I got my daddy, that's all that matters to me.
See, talking about she got her daddy. You might know who your father is, but there's still a lot in healing that needs to happen there. And unfortunately with my show, we only got 45 minutes and it hurts me. I will tell you this one thing that I can do now that you've gotten your answers. During your time of being high, and I can't let this slide over. Okay, I'm not accusing you of doing anything now, but I will tell you that was a critical moment in your daughter's life. Oh good, I'm glad I acknowledged it. I'd be wondering what I'd be doing on this show. Good thing I ain't too stupid. Okay, she felt something was crossed the line, and she does need acknowledgment and closure from that. She said out of her own mouth, nothing went far, that she ended it. So no one's looking at you as if you did something to your daughter, but in a moment of addiction, something did cross the line. And whether you remember or not, she remembers it. And so what I would encourage you to do is to give her that closure and say, "I'm sorry." Can you give her that? But lemme say this here before I say this here. Just give the sorry. Why everybody gotta give an explanation? See, that's what I'm talking about. I'm gonna say it in the right way. Of course. Exactly, son. Now I feel, feel like this here, that's something I don't remember. And I just wanna say this here. If I did do that, if you feel I did that, something like that, I apologize. She still got a lot of healing from this, man. Still got a little healing from this, man. But you think that way. I think that way. You'll do real. I do wish y'all the best of luck and I hope to see you again so I can really help y'all, all right? Wish y'all the best of luck. Still got a lot of healing from this, man. Ooh, that was a lot going on. Girl, I need a break after that. Okay. Girl, bye.
Lenny was messing with my mother until I was 3 years old. He was the only father I knew.
Ooh, we remember this girl. We thought this was gonna be so normal. She just wants answers, right? The emotions, ugh. We were all in it with her. But I should have known when you had 9 gold chains layered that something was coming. Sometimes you gotta know. Them gold chains layered, I should have known. Girl, you was about to come with something.
I just wanna know where I came from. I was a black sheep in the family.
You deserve to know. Please welcome Lennie to the show. Ooh, I forgot that outfit. It's kind of cute though, right? Little burgundy on burgundy. Lennie, why is this DNA test important to you? He look like Carl Winslow, don't he? Y'all see it, Family Matters. Carl Winslow wouldn't be on my show, or would he? Give me closure. Yeah. And most importantly, give her closure. Mm-hmm, I hear that. Tell me about your relationship with Shamelle. Well, we had an up and down relationship, you know. I cut off one time, this is the second time cutting off. But when you disrespect, I'm old fashioned one. When you be disrespectful as a kid, you know, I'll cut you off. You gotta show, I was raised to show respect for your elders. And I think I want her to do the same. As well. But I met her mother back in the '80s. This is such a gag because this is such— you think this is gonna be such a normal, calm Karamo show. Look at me, I have no idea the storm that's coming. I'm relaxed, I'm like, hmm, let's hear about what happened with you and this young woman's mother. I'm gonna take a note 'cause this seems normal. We met at a bar going out and she got pregnant. She said it was my baby. And then she said it was the other guy's baby. So I still stuck with her till she was 3 years old. Then after 3 years old, the mother kicked me out. I guess she wanted to pursue somebody else. Yeah, so at 3 years old is when you stopped having a relationship with your daughter? Yeah. Okay then. I haven't seen my daughter, potential daughter, since I was 3 years old. Did you come back into Shamel's life? Yes, I did. I came back in her life and then— And at what age? Oh. About 40. Ooh, and look at it. She got a new gold chain that she didn't have on in the other piece with a broken heart. Let me tell y'all something. The storm that's about to come. So between 3 and 40, you weren't in her life? I wasn't in her life. I met her on Facebook and— Wow. Ooh. Wish I could go back to that. I met her, a friend of hers, she phoned me back and she asked me, who are you? And you know, 3 years old, you're supposed to know who raised you. But you know, she went, she'd been through a lot of stuff. So. Yeah, that's the part that breaks my heart is because outside of like what's about to come, this is a sad story. A young woman that doesn't know who her parent is and who's looking to just have answers about who she is because she's probably went through some hard things. "Oh, I asked if I could be your potential father." And then we met up, I took her out to dinner. She's suckin' me in buying the chain. And then I bought her a chain. And what happened to the chain you bought her? Well, the chain I bought her, she called, she said her boyfriend snatched it off her and it broke. And she wanted me to buy another one. So I bought her another one. You know, she a girl, you know. So I bought her another one. See, when he was telling me this story, I had no idea that she was backstage with 19 gold chains on. After that, I said no more buying chains. Okay. You're gonna lose chains like that no more. Okay, did Shamel ever visit you in Florida? I can't lie, I got two on myself, girl. She do like a little chain, girl. No, they attempted to visit me in Florida, her and her mother. Uh-huh, yeah, get to the good stuff. Fast forward through this. He talking about, yes, I didn't know her mama, I didn't know her daddy, we didn't know each other, I was young, I went around. I was in there. Okay, I see you. Okay. Oh, and here she come. I should have known. Look at that stank walk she came out there with. Rewind for me. I want y'all to see that bop in her shoulder with that stank walk. Look at that. Uh, uh, uh. I'm coming out here to start shit. That's what that walk meant. And then she sit like this. How do you feel about what was just said?
You know what? You're a messy man. You can't talk about me. 'Cause you ain't living a good life, thank you very much. You say that I'm the reason.
See, at first I still thought this.
Where was you when I buried my mother?
See.
You was nowhere around.
I'm feeling your emotions.
When they take her out my house and see my mother dead.
Okay.
You was nowhere. So you do not say I'm the reason my mother is gone.
Did you say that? See, I was still with her at this point. At this point we're still thinking like this is the trauma, this is the pain that's coming out. We didn't know what was coming. Maybe you don't know what's coming 'cause you ain't seen this episode. Got it.
You think people ain't gonna tell me what you said about me? You ain't too good.
See how she acting? She ain't done yet. That's drama. Drama. This is what I don't need. Okay. See, normally when a father's like, this is what I don't need, I'm like, no, you need to be here. You need to do the work. And when she talk about getting my life together, my life together?
You're not getting it together.
You're messy. You're messy. If I'm messy, then why I'm in your life?
Your bestie, thank you very much. You don't take care of your own child. A father doesn't charge anything for somebody. You don't take care of your own child. It takes a real man to be a father. You're not gonna be a daddy. You're a daddy.
See, this is where we went left. What is poop pot, girl? Have you ever heard of poop pot? 'Cause I never heard of poop pot. Shamel, when you first reconnected with Lenny, was there any good?
No, there wasn't.
There wasn't. So it's just— He was a baby, you wouldn't know. So when you reconnected older, did you have a good relationship at all?
No, I did not.
Okay then.
He chose women over me.
Okay.
Who does that?
See, I'm still with her here. I'm still with her. I'm still thinking like, you know what? She's angry about the fact that you weren't there. Do you have any memories of Lennie from your childhood?
No, I don't. I know what I was told.
Got it. Okay. If I choose women over you, how come I came back into your life?
Yeah, whatever. That's why you stayed out my life because that lady didn't like our relationship. You're a poop pot.
You know what? You got a man that loves you. And that's where the shift happens. When you see that face, I'm like, girl, what is going on here? He don't know if you're the father or not in your life and you should run with that.
I shouldn't run with nothing. I was told two other men played a role in my life. That I know about. Thank you very much, poop pot.
Girl, what is poop pot?
I want clarity. I think it's best for me to know the truth. Me and my kids, poop pot.
Girl, what is poop pot? Anybody at home, y'all know what poop pot is? 'Cause I don't know what poop pot is. What is that? What's that?
That's a deadbeat. Somebody that want people to take care of them. They don't take care of their children.
And you call them what?
A poop pot.
A poop pot? Did your mother ever tell you that— The whole audience is confused. Girl, that was a day to be there, girl, 'cause we didn't know what was going on. Your mother said there could be two other men?
Yes, there can.
And I didn't even know that. You didn't know that either? No. So you didn't know? Okay, so there could possibly be other men that you're finding out today? Yeah. There could be, okay. And what happened during your first meeting with Lennie? There's this person that, this is a side note, this has nothing to do about her. That hit me up in my DMs and said, wrote like, it was like a 5-page message that was like, Karamo, can you stop saying, okay, got it? No, girl, I'm not. 'Cause that's how I let people know I got it. I wanted to respond so bad. Sometimes let me see a message, I wanna respond so bad, but I have to be classy. He distanced himself.
Yes.
Okay, got it. Okay. Did you ever have issues with Lenny's wife? 'Cause he said you did before.
Yes, I did. Because she didn't like our relationship.
Got it. Okay, and that's a trigger for you. I can tell.
Yes, it is.
Yes, I can tell. But you didn't know her.
Whatever, she still is a hoe.
You didn't know her. You—
she's a hoe. She's trying to come between me. Oh well, you ain't with her now.
She is animated. Okay, she's animated. And, um, how did you and Lenny's son Milton connect?
Because his ex-wife, she Facebooked me and said he wanted to get connection with me.
Okay, got it. And what's going on between you and Lenny's son now?
We are good brothers and sisters. We have a good relationship.
Okay, okay, cool. Okay, we saw.
He took the chain.
Okay, that's the one with the chain. That's the one you're talking about. Yeah, he took her chain. Okay.
It doesn't matter, we're still talking.
We're still brothers and sisters. So this is the interesting part. We're hearing about this person who took one of her chains. That she's still talking to that's her brother. And then my producers are like, she got a secret for you. And I'm—
Lenny, my secret is me and Milton are together. He is the love of my life. I love him. He knows how to be a man. I'm praying that you are not my father, Lenny, because you raised a good man, someone I love.
Somebody make the girl in the yellow hat a meme, because she was— every time I see this clip and she be in there, I'm like, somebody need to make her a meme. Girl, I know, it's a gag. This woman just said that she is dating her brother, that she don't know if it's her brother. And they didn't tell me. Okay, Lennie, we gonna take that in together. So we're gonna digest this right now. So your potential brother and you have been dating?
We don't know about being sisters and brothers.
Mm-mm, not the photo. Oh, look at the sandals she got on, girl. Where's Milton? He's in prison. Milton's in prison. Okay, so this is a Karamo show first, and it got me over here crying. This girl said she, she said she was dating her brother. Girl, what is going on? They need to make her a meme too. Look at the disgust on her face, girl. Look at the disgust on her face. Look at that. Pause right there, girl. The two of them Their reaction is exactly how I felt, both shock and disgust. They're telling me right now it's a letter from Milton. You know, you just ruined somebody's life. Hold on. You better be sure. Hold on, the father was shaking because you could tell. Milton wrote a letter. He said, this is yesterday. He said, "Grand rising." Pause. There's so much about this episode. Y'all not gonna understand this, but he wrote a letter from jail and the first thing he said to me was, "Grand rising." There is so much comedy in that. If you know, you know. And if you don't know, you don't know. Okay, unpause. But when I read grand rising, when you possibly are sleeping with your sister. My baby Shamelle is a piece of work, but she does mean well. Awesome woman with great intentions. And if you please have patience with her. Calling you guys, I'll be calling you guys later about this show upon my release. She's gonna be taking me. So upon the release, y'all have planned for him you to take him in. So did you get his name tattooed on you?
Yes, I did.
She got her brother name, her brother or potential, and got a crown over it 'cause that's her king, okay? That is her king. She don't know if that is her brother or her boyfriend. Pooh-Pah. You got this tattoo this week?
Yes, I sure enough did.
Okay. Do you see your brother?
I don't see him as my brother.
Oh, you don't see him as your brother, okay. You see him as—
We was not raised together.
So you don't see him as that?
We've only seen pictures together.
Okay then. Have you two been intimate?
No, we have not.
You have not been intimate?
No.
They haven't been intimate. Do y'all believe they haven't been intimate? I believe it 'cause the way she be doing stuff. But you wanna have a relationship, which means you want these to come out that he is not your father.
Yes.
But if it does come back that he's your father, what are you gonna do with the fact that you have your brother's name name tattooed on you now. He's not my father, but your brother's name. Before Milton, you wanted Lenny to be your father.
I don't want Lenny to be my father. He's a poop pot.
He is a poop pot.
He ain't been in my life.
Well, not anymore, but like, I, I just watched what you said when you came back and you went to dinner with him. You wanted him to be your father. She just—
she— she's doing— because that's what I was told. I want the clarity for me and my kids.
She's doing this because I cut her off for being disrespectful Disrespectful.
No, because you're talking about my mother is the reason I'm dead. I'm the reason my mother's dead.
There is so much going on in this episode. I mean, like, literally. And I know a lot of y'all are going to say, like, y'all going to try to put some diagnosis on this woman, call her some type of name about her mental health, or, you know, like, I'm not sure what her mental health is, and I'm not going to even speculate. All I do know is that she's in a situation where she's making choices that will be detrimental to her if this is her brother.
My mother wanted to be buried, not cremated. Thank you very much.
Well, I didn't find out about your mother through Facebook.
You still didn't come to her funeral. You still wasn't there when I had to see her go out my house dead.
Okay, girl, this messy, girl. 'Cause either way, this either gonna be your— Girl, I know, girl, this— I mean, because let's be real, either way, either way, this about to be your father or your brother. Your father-in-law, girl, and I ain't got time. I love when y'all get me to the place where I can be super gay on this show. I don't know if this is gonna be your father, your father-in-law, girl, bye. So girl, let's get to this DNA results, girl. All right, so, Shamelle, and this is the DNA truth. I don't remember, was it her daddy? It wasn't her daddy. It could have been her daddy. It could have been her daddy. Was it her daddy? I know it couldn't have been. If this is your father, about to be your father-in-law, girl, this is yours to open, girl. Let me let you find out.
Like I said, I need my clarity.
Girl, we all need the clarity. We all need the clarity. We right there with you, girl. Let's find out together.
Hallelujah! You ain't my father!
Oh, thank God.
You ain't my father! Yes, yes, yes! I got my clarity!
Thank God that's not her father.
I'm gonna be with my baby mama. I'll ride by his side. I'll make him comply.
Could you imagine coming on a show and the young woman that you did raise some part of her life that you were disconnected with comes out here and tells you that she is in a relationship with your biological son? I mean, this is the Family Matters episode that we did not want and never asked for. Thank you. Okay, good job. Well, listen, I'm glad you got your clarity, okay? Sir, I'm glad you got your clarity too. Yes, indeed, thank God. Hey, help your son get some clarity as well, okay? Yeah, I'll be—
He don't need no clarity. He don't do nothing for his son.
I'll be talking with him. I do everything.
He don't take care of his son. His son don't want nothing to do with him. Thank you very much. Y'all write that back.
My son calls me all the time.
Pooh Pah! Pooh Pah!
My son calls me all the time.
Like I said, pool party. Like I said, pool party.
Most of my kids call me all the time.
Yeah, just like he told me.
You see, this is the thing. When you have people who act erratic like this— now, this is some real truth for y'all. People who act erratic like this, you can't try to logic with them with reason or truth. Because he keeps trying to logic with her with reason or truth, which is why he feels like he's caught up in some drama with her. You see this? The way she's acting like this, you just got to get quiet. You just got to get quiet.
You said I'm the reason my mother dead. He don't want shit to do with you.
Okay, well listen to her. Why he jackass me all the time? He jackass me all the time. He keep trying to reason with her with logic and truth. And when you have individuals who act like this, you can't. Now I just wanna make sure y'all know because a lot of people watch these shows and they like, are these people staged? Y'all not paid actors, right? No. No, y'all are not. Y'all, this was actually a call to show, and this is actually your son who wrote us from prison.
Free my man! Free my man!
Free her man, girl! Free her man! Free my man! Free her man, girl. Poo Pot. OK. Girl. Do I think her and her man in jail still together? Yes, I think that the dysfunctional ass is still together. What I will tell you about this family dynamic is that I think that the fact of the matter is that I'm sure that this father needs to have a moment of reconciling with his choices as a parent. And if he's honest with himself about the choices he made as a parent, he would understand why maybe his biological son would think it's okay to make a choice like this. Because there is something about the way that you structure your family and how you, you support the mental and emotional health of your children that allows them to make better choices as adults. And clearly, his son and this young woman who he thought could have been his daughter, who we now know is not, there was clearly an absence of something that he should reflect And maybe through acknowledging that, he can feel better, they can feel better, and everyone can start making healthier choices. Because at the end of the day, this whole episode was a poopah!
Poopah!
Free me from this episode! There's pictures of [MASKED] in the phone as well. As long as— Did that just say I found sex tapes and men nude photos on my boyfriend's phone? Ooh, I remember this.
This crazy boy that I've been with for—
Look how she already started, this crazy boy I've been with. Well, how crazy, girl? Let's find out.
10 years. It'll be 11 years in February. He's been, I just been having a lot of trust issues with him. He's giving out my address.
Oh.
In the daily.
Giving out your address, okay.
Yes, like it's always a lot. He's real protective with the phone. He just, I don't know, it gives cheating. It gives cheating like all the time. Like sometimes I'm just standing behind him like, doing something on the couch or something like that. And he's like, why are you standing behind me? Why are you over my shoulder? Like, why are you doing? I'm like—
Too much going on. Sometimes men need to know less is more. We don't need the vest, the chain, and the bow tie, you know?
I'm not even thinking about you.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And it gives like, okay, so what are you doing?
What are you doing?
Have my friends watch me at the club. And then like, my friends are my friends, so they're gonna tell me like, yeah, your dude came up to me. He's like, let me know. Or like, I got you if you let me know what she's doing at the club.
You don't think your friends gonna tell you that?
What do you mean by that? Come on now, it's like that he's expecting my friends to have more loyalty to him than to me.
Got it. So you found a video on his phone last year, what was it?
It was of him having sex with another girl.
If I find a video of my man having sex with another girl on his phone, that's when the relationship ends. And y'all been together 10 years?
We've been together for 10 years.
And how did you find the video?
His phone broke and we had like an extra phone at home and so I went to the AT&T store to get it turned on, you know, just with his old number. And so I'm sitting there and I'm just like, you know, just sitting there and I'm like, hmm. And then I have, I don't have angels. I have a good demon and I have a bad demon. And the good demon is like, the bad demon's like, go through the phone. And the good demon is like, no, don't do it. And the bad demon's like, go through it.
By the way, I got that same bad demon on mine. Go through the phone. That's how we created Unlock the Phone. How many phones have I unlocked in my personal life? I unlock everyone's phone, friends, The worst thing you can do is leave your phone around me. I will look through it. Don't leave your phone around me. I will go through the passcode. Seriously, there's a way to get through passcodes. Okay, well, y'all know that. Watch, Google it. Google it. Google it.
Google it.
Google it.
Here's bad Damon again. It's like, hidden, go through the hidden messages. And I'm like, hidden messages?
Not, not the bad Damon voice so deep.
So I go through the hidden. I found 3 videos. 3 sex tapes. One with red hair, one with brown hair, and one with blonde hair. Meaning 3 different occasions.
So what did you do? What did he say about it?
So I immediately left the house.
'Cause did that bad demon come back and say, girl, whoop his ass.
I immediately.
'Cause that's what came to my head, girl.
I didn't even tell those people I was coming back or nothing. I jumped up and I'm out the door. I'm getting in my car.
I'm on my way home.
So we have a house guest. So when I come in, oh, I was so mad about it because we had a guest and I'm not like big on putting people in our business. So when I came in the room, I'm like—
Again, the bow tie, the chain, the vest, too much.
How dare you do this to me?
This girl is so fun. I like her. She seems like somebody I hang out with. She fun.
At first he's like, no, that's old. All those are really old. And so that one specific video with the red hair. I had just bought him a Louis Vuitton backpack. The Louis Vuitton backpack was in the back.
So you can't say it was old.
So not only is this phone old, you've been taking it around to record your sex tapes. 'Cause you don't even use this phone.
With the bag I bought you.
There's a very good chance.
With the bag I bought you.
With the bag that I bought. So.
So I'm gonna ask you this because I understand 10 years, but why did you stay if you found it?
Well, around the time, I would say we were kinda rocky, but not that rocky, you know what I'm saying? It was like almost forgiveness because a lot of times with DeAndre, he's a very sporadic, he's a drinker and he's very sporadic. So a lot of times I do forgive him when he goes and does these drunk things. You see what I'm saying?
So you got the good demon, the bad demon, and the stupid demon.
Stupid demon. Let's put stupid demon right here. We're gonna put stupid demon right here. That's the one that be like, it's okay, Yeah, the stupid demon comes in my face and she's like, no, girl, you know he's good.
You know that's your man.
He loves you.
Yeah, so I hear somebody who is cheating, who's drinking and doing erratic things, and you're still staying with him. And so I need y'all to understand this. Sometimes people get in relationships and they're like, well, we've been together for 10 years and I've forgiven him, so I've invested this time. But I want you to understand that the amount of time you've been in a relationship, if it's 10 years, let's use that as an example. How old are you and how many years have you been by yourself? And how many more years do you have on this earth? In the scheme of your life, 10 years is a lesson that you need to learn, not a destination. And I want you to understand that because people get trapped in this idea that because I've invested this amount of time, that this is where I'm supposed to be. No, this was a moment that you needed a lesson, that you would learn something about yourself. And if you don't stay there, that lesson is going to bury you. And it's going to murder your self-esteem and your self-worth. So move on, all right? Don't allow some timeframe to be the determining factor in you living a good life or a bad life. Allow it to be what propels you to the life you deserve. Please. Y'all both work in real estate and you said that you gotta work all times of night. They both work in real estate, working all times of night? My real estate agent ain't never called me at midnight, okay? And I own a home or two. She ain't never called me late, okay? Well, Dre, you want to know if Javelin has DMs with other men, if Javelin has any dating apps on her phone, if Javelin has any explicit photos on her phone, and if she has any inappropriate text exchange on her phone.
This is very much irrelevant. It's very irrelevant because that's one, there are none. Two, he only wants it done because I'm doing it to him.
Okay, we unlocking phones. I don't know what's in this phone 'cause I already remember what's in this phone.
And for 3, I'm telling you, like, I've been loyal to DeAndre for the last 5 years.
That's beside the point. Literally. By the way, anytime somebody do this, I don't know why I love it. Like, it makes so many things. This, okay.
No one has had this for the last 5 years faithfully. He has not even tried to put in the same amount of time and effort that I put into the relationship.
I think you're lying. I don't know about it though. Got it. All right, well it's time to unlock the phone. Unlock, unlock, unlock. So we unlocked your phone, Dre. All right. All right, Javelin. Ooh, and now white shoes with that outfit? Oh my gosh. I did not see that. I would've had to break up with you. This outfit alone would've made me break up. Javelin, you want to know if Dre has any explicit videos on his phone.
Videos, pictures?
Dre says he does not. My Unlock the Phone investigators searched his videos and found that Dre is not telling the truth.
Hey, now, but listen.
I need to show you one video from September 21st, which was a couple days ago.
September 21st of what?
Uh-huh, September 21st of what? This year. This year, girl. September 21st. I love— this is, uh, remember, no violence here, but this is a video from September 21st of this year. You know who this is? Oh yeah, I saw the video, girl, and I didn't want to see it. Let me tell you something, sometimes I see stuff when I unlock these people's phones, I don't want to see it. I want to throw up. Somebody put the throw up emoji right here and know that's That's what I was looking at.
Oh my God, are you kidding me?
Hey, oh, this is you giving a woman oral sex.
How do I get out of here?
Yeah, that was—
that— oh my gosh.
So the way our investigator works, we don't work on— we work on when the video was actually timestamped to be recorded, and that video was timestamped to be recorded in September. I ain't gaslighted, I'm just saying, like, it It ain't, it's not, it wasn't in September though. Like, that's all I'm saying. Why after I just told you we have the timestamp from your damn phone are you gonna tell me that's not when it was? Javelin, you want to know if Dre has any explicit photos on his phone? Okay, now we in photos, girl. What photos are on his phone? Karamo, what photos have you found? We found 28 explicit photos since April. Of this year. What photos are on this man's phone? Put your hand in my face. I don't know what these are. Hey, Raph. Raph the one who be bringing me everything. So I don't know what these all are. I haven't looked through them. These are text messages. You know what this is? Not an uh.
I just said, mm.
Yeah, girl, what is it?
Oh my God. Karamo, what the fuck is that?
These are what we found in the phone. I'm so messy because I want to say what it is, but I can't. I'm like, girl, that's what we found in the phone. Don't be surprised. And look at me over there looking. Look at me over there looking. I'm so nosy and messy. I'm like, girl, what's on the phone?
You gonna ask him or me?
You ask him. That's you to ask him.
Oh, wow. DeAndre, I am not— What is this?
It was a lot of photos.
What is this, DeAndre?
Of human beings.
We're steady going.
That don't share the same—
Sights.
Genitals as she shares.
Where is the vagina?
She said, where the vagina, girl? Not in them photos.
DeAndre.
Man, hey, hey, you say I'm crazy right now?
Karamo, you looking at this like, am I trapping right now?
No, girl, I saw the same pics you saw. I think there's a conversation.
What the fuck is this? DeAndre. Hey. Herpy bitch, the herpy girl.
There was one girl in there. One girl. And we call her the herpes girl.
I mean, yeah, true.
Yeah. My producer tell me there's pictures of in the phone as well. As long as— I want to know, you talking about an update? I wanna know if she stayed with him. Now this is the real question. Because if I go through my man's phone and I find a bunch of photos of women, I'm gonna be confused. 'Cause I'm gonna be like, mm, why do you have photos of women on your phone? Why do you have photos of new women on your phone? So I can only imagine for her if she finds photos of the opposite sex on her male's phone. I hope they not still together. And not even just because of the photos we found. I hope she's not together because he came on national TV with a bow tie, that chain, that vest, and white shoes. That alone for me is reason enough. Done.
Uh-uh.
So this is not something that you knew?
No. Bring his ass back out here. Now ain't no shame. Ain't no fucking shame.
These are all since April of this year.
Wow. I really, I mean, I don't have words for this right now. Like, I really don't know what to say about this, right? I don't know what to say. Like I'm shook right now. I don't know what to say about that at all. Oh, shit.
At least—
Please regain yourself. All those nights that I be out late and back and forth to different cities and stuff, I be pimping.
I be pimping. That's why you see all them pictures in there when they holding up different numbers and this, that, and the third. That's why I be having so many different girls around.
Prostituting people bodies type different, different, different girls and stuff.
That's why, that's why I got, that's why I got the house with all the girls in it, the ones that just sit there. So, okay, let me ask you a question though, because you're supposed to be renting out to all them thot-ass bitches. Yeah, let's say Karamo, what we talking about? That's how they rent. No, but let me ask you a question though. Let me ask you a question for it, because like Y'all know I'm from the hood, and so I've never had to collect men's naked photos. Well, why do you have to collect a man's naked photos? It's just, it's just like, listen, you are allowed to do whatever you want. It's a different day and age, and you losing folks nowadays, so that's just a verification for— But the verification is the face. But why would you— No, anybody can just throw up 4 fingers and have their face. This is me trying to like, you know, I'm not in the business of, you know, let me just— Y'all know that I've been around for a while and y'all know who I am and I'm very true to who I am. I've always been true to who I am. Roll the tape, me in my 20s. I am who I am. I love being who I am. You ain't rocking that way? You sure, girl? I mean, let me stay mind my business. Okay.
Like, I'm so done with your man.
Man, you said that before you even got to this.
Yeah, I'm done with your ass.
Okay, well listen, Javelin.
I'm so— we not even talking about right now. I'm so done with this. After 10 years, you said you smart decision.
Smart decision. Smart decision. Listen, you got all your answers now and you made the smartest decision right there.
Get outta here.
Listen, all I know is that this had a lot going on and I just pray and hope that these two are not together. Out the door, go. Samaria, tell me about your mother kicking you out.
Okay, when she kicked me out a few weeks, it was just, I woke up that morning, I was very tired because I always take care of my 2-year-old nephew. Like I'm always taking care of him, doing everything for him when that's her responsibility. Which I just had a deceased niece that passed. So she's real up and overprotective about him. So I woke up that morning and she walked in there. She was like, well, get up and take your nephew to school. But she's not doing nothing. So I'm like, why you couldn't do it? She didn't even say much. She just started arguing with me, yelling. Then she called the police.
I think all of y'all got this wrong online when y'all watch this. All of y'all comments were wrong. Talking about old school parenting is what we need, all this stuff. All of y'all got it wrong, but we can watch this together. And I'll tell y'all how I really feel.
Usually when she called him, she told him I'm not supposed to be there, so I got real scared.
You said usually when she calls him, so this is a reoccurring?
She called him all the time.
On you?
So when she called him this time, I knew she was gonna try to, oh, she not supposed to be here, send her there, send her here. But this time I had been and got put on probation.
So I need y'all to remember that anytime a child tells you about things that they went through when they were a kid, like I was in probation, Yes, children have choice, but they are children who need guidance, and they need someone to be there to show them what to do, to show them love, to make sure they feel secure enough to be honest, to know that they don't have to run away. These things— there's a lot of factors of why kids misbehave. And so a kid having police on them, all of that is wrong. I just want to make sure y'all had that context. Because y'all was in the comments talking about, yeah, she's too unreal and she ain't doing this and this. I want to have context. A child. So you sent my producers the video that you said you took that day. Can I see it?
All she did was kick me out this morning because I didn't want to wake up and feed my nephew. And I got the messages. I've been living here for months. I called y'all yesterday and told y'all these things that she keep doing.
Yeah, that stops today. Okay, but let me talk to the police officers right quick and unrecord me.
No, now I don't appreciate you lying, so I'm not gonna unrecord.
I don't want to be on social media, that's why.
I'm not gonna post it, I'm just keeping it for my record if I get in trouble.
Okay, I was very triggered by her coming to the door and switching up. I want to act one way when the door is closed, but when the door is open and people in front of it, then they want to be like, I'm just so sweet and, um, And yes, this is, I just don't know what's going on. No, girl, stop. Get the same energy you just had when the door was closed.
Oh yeah, that's my stuff.
You said there was a, your police being called and all this stuff, so.
Yeah, like she usually called them a lot, but the only reason she started calling them was 'cause they put me on probation. After they put me on probation, she just called them every time.
What are you on probation for?
Okay, my mom, she be putting me out.
Did you hear that? My mom, puts me out.
Around the time that I was 17, when she first put me out, I had to go sleep with a man for somewhere to go.
And I had to sleep with a man for somewhere to go. For all y'all talking about in the comments, she really— imagine being a kid getting kicked out and having sleep with somebody for somewhere to go. Oh. You know, I'm over y'all. I'm really over y'all because how y'all was in the comments.
Okay, that man, he slept with me that time and he didn't give me anywhere to go. He put me right back outside after we slept together. That made me real uncomfortable because I slept with you to have somewhere to go and now I still don't have anywhere to go.
Let me go to the comments. I want to see the comments because that's what I more preferred about. I already know what I'm feeling about this. Let me go to this thing. Um, they can still keep talking. I'm gonna find that Karamo show. And where are you staying right now?
Okay, okay, I'm like basically couch She said, I'm couch hopping still.
And y'all know how old she is? Sometimes I think y'all see this girl, think she 25, she 30. She's still a kid and talking about she's still running the streets. Oh, so hold on. On YouTube, y'all have some sense. Oh, on YouTube, y'all had no sense. Not gonna lie, the way the mama did not care about her child having sex. Oh my gosh, so on YouTube, I take everything I said back. On YouTube, y'all had sense. It's the other people and them other comments that had no sense. You know what, I take that back. Back. Thank you, Mike, for letting me know that y'all did have some sense. So I'm back open, cuz I was over y'all for a second. People talking about I hate the old school. Thank you. Oh my gosh, you're not ugly, you're beautiful. Thank— this is what I'm talking about, encourage her. Oh my gosh. So I need to go to YouTube comments. Okay, good. I was so over y'all for a second because I remember this video had came out, y'all were really online acting like y'all was on this mama's side, and I was over y'all. But Mike has just saved all of y'all. And now we still have a relationship. We still friends. 'Cause we weren't gonna be friends for about a week. I just wanna let y'all know that. It was a wrap for about a week between us. But now we're back. Sorry, forgive me. It's my bad.
If I'm put out, I'm your daughter, you love me. Why you don't care about the fact that I don't have nowhere to go? Why you don't care about what may happen to me? While nobody, you know.
My producer told me that your mom did know when you were 15 that you were sleeping with men to get by?
Yeah, she knew that.
She did know that. Do you have an Aunt Shalonda? Mm-hmm. Let me hear what she's saying.
Karamo, I'm telling you, you got your hands full with Samaria. I'm not going to let a child disrespect me the way that Samaria disrespects her mom.
You kicking me out at 15, telling me I'm a hoe, doing all this stuff? No. Uh-uh. That old school antiquated, because you're my parent, I still got to love you and respect you is dead. We're not doing that no more. You don't want to respect me. You don't want to show me love and security. Then I'm going to have to find community that's going to love me, heal me, and I don't need to be disrespectful to you, but I'm gonna learn to walk away from you. What do you want from your mom today?
I want for her to understand me. I want for her to talk to me better. The way she's talking to me like bitch, hoe, I don't want her doing all that 'cause I'm gonna bitch and hoe you right back. I'm gonna say the same shit to you, so it's gonna forever be conflict. We gotta learn to fix the problem. And another thing, she be calling me ugly. I don't think she know that that make me feel some type of way. I be feeling like that shit true. I feel like she don't love me, but that's why we here.
I like that blouse on her though.
Hey, Karamo.
Hey. I like her hair too. Everything that was just said. You very disrespectful.
Yes, I am. You don't know I—
Yes, I am. Tell it. I'm your mother. You're not my mother. Well, you not act like a mama. You're at the age of 18.
That makes you partways grown. Not all the way grown. As long as you in my house, There are rules to follow in my house.
Thank you. In my house.
I barely been in the house.
I barely been in your house. So now you want to act like the two times I was in there, now I got to follow your rules? Girl, bye.
The reason for me putting you out.
What's the reason?
Vanity towards me.
What's the reason? How to talk to me. What's the reason for putting your daughter out?
Regular though. You have this. Regular, not just when we're arguing, when we're going through it. You have manic Behaviors to where you destroy property. I do not have to tolerate that from you. Do I have many behaviors because you— Baby, I'm old school raised. You understand me? Old school.
I could stand up. See all this, I'm old school and all this, all this aggression and intimidation. Stop all that. Stop the aggression, stop the intimidation, and then don't be surprised when she come back at you with aggression and intimidation, especially since you've been kicking her out.
How you talking right now? You don't talk like that at home. When I get in trouble, I'm not going to use any profanity on this show.
Me as a character, if I call her bitches, I call her bitches. You heard her?
Hoes.
I'm just being honest with you.
That's what I do in the heat of the moment.
So, you know, normally on our show, we do sometimes see mother and daughters who use very colorful language. And I actually appreciate that more. And I say this in the sense of that's real. I'm all about transparency and real emotions because when I see that, I'm able to give you some type of tools to help you to be better. When you try to hide and pretend who you really are, that's what gets me. This goes back to when the police were at the door and she turned into this whole other woman, like, I don't know what's going on. And I hate people who do that. Keep the same energy you had every day, every minute when people around, because people need to see the real you. I need to see why you kicking your 15, 16, 17, 18-year-old daughter out and forcing her to sleep with men. And yes, I use the word forcing because if you are not encouraging her to be in your house to keep her safe, then yes, you are forcing her out and having to survive.
I do want a relationship with her.
Yes, I do.
I mean, it's hard to believe.
Your daughter says something and this is real. She said, I want you to understand what I've been through, what I'm going through. Through. Do you think that you ever take the time really to understand what she's been through?
I have took the time out to understand her and what she goes through.
Yeah.
But to be honest with you, that's some fairy tale stuff.
No, this ain't how they talk to each other at home. Everybody know this not how they talk to each other at home. She just said I call her bitches and hoes when I'm at the house. And you see these tears streaming down this little sweet girl's face? Your little baby. Has had those situations and those situations are traumatic.
They are.
15, she didn't understand that. And as much as she's nodding her head, tell your mama what you've been through.
Yeah, like, and it ain't even just like, it's like I done been through a lot of stuff. Like it's a lot of stuff you didn't tell me that I was supposed to know. You ain't never came to me and sat me down and told me how I was supposed to be as a woman or anything like that.
I don't think the mother received anything that was said on this stage. I'm glad that the daughter was able to say her piece. I believe that this mother has her opinion set about her daughter and how she parents, and she believes it's right. And she's being reinforced by her sister, the aunt, telling her that this is how you gotta do it and this is how you gotta be. And so instead of having people around her saying, hey, maybe evaluate your actions when it comes to your teen child, she is instead acting as if like, this is what I'm supposed to do. This is how it's supposed to work. Thanks, Karamo, for telling this girl she a child. I'm not taking you away. This is not your fault and it also does not have to be your story. It's not gonna be your story, girl. I'm gonna commit to this.
I can't say I'm gonna not have them talk about you because I can't control anyone's action.
So I'll be— I can't say I can't have anybody talk about you. Girl. This triggers me. If you're 15 and if you are in this situation where your parent treats you like this, The only thing I can suggest to you is like, if you're still in school, please talk to like your school counselor, social worker, because if your entire family has created an opinion in you of in their mind, unfortunately they're not gonna be a safe space for you to go to to talk to. You always have to be able to be in control of your own security, and that's, and that's so sad. I'm so sorry. But what I would encourage you to do is find people outside of the home that can help you and can get you real resources. I want anybody who's 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 to know that there are resources. You don't have to live on the street. You don't have to sleep with men. Good luck to y'all, all right?
Thank you.
So when you have a parent who goes into that heightened emotion, you know, we want is for children to say, well, they're the child to like control the emotions, but it's not the job of the child to control the emotions. It's the job of the parent to control their emotions. So I don't really have advice for kids because kids are going to feel, they don't know how to process what they're feeling, and especially with this type of emotional abuse, you just can't— I don't have tips for a child whose brain is not developed to say, you know what, in this moment, walk away, find it. Like, of course that's the thing we want to say, but if mom is screaming at me and I feel unsafe and I feel like I got to protect myself, they're going to do what they need to do, and I understand why. And I think we have to start remembering that it's about the parent. Now, parents, why are you getting your yourself to some level, and how do you walk your ass away and say, you know what, this is not for my child. My frustrations is for me to talk to another adult about and then figure out a solution to come back to my child and speak sweetly, kindly, and with love with. And even in my most aggravated moments, you got to speak with love. Please tell me, when did he start denying your children? Are we watching If These Babies Aren't Mine? I'm going to be devastated. Ah, I remember this one.
Ooh. Karamo, we've been together for about 3 years now.
So first of all, let me let y'all know something. The cutest comment I've ever seen is somebody called me Karamo Bradshaw after this episode. My little gay heart. You call me Karamo Bradshaw because I got a flower. Y'all know Carrie. There's a lot of straight people in this room, so they probably don't get the reference. Gays and females, y'all understand? Aw.
About when my son was 3 months, he started having doubts saying that his hair was a little too straight to be his son.
Okay.
But I called about my son, but I'm just now finding out from your producers he wants to test my 2-year-old.
Mm, the older child.
Yeah, he went in behind my back and told them they wanna test both.
Wow. So how old exactly are both your children?
2 and 11 months.
2 and 11 months. He clearly doesn't believe either is his.
Yeah, like, and I didn't know that because with our 2-year-old, like, She looks just like his mom, so it's like, but I feel like the doubts came about our son because I had a miscarriage.
[Speaker] When you're hearing this woman's story, you fall, you just really feel for her, like miscarriage, like this man is denying. You're just like, wow, this is so sad. But this is why on this show I always say I gotta hear both sides, because you fall for one side, you might not hear the rest. I never like to sexualize my guests, but the man that she's dating is fine as hell. He fine as hell. Y'all don't think this dude coming out is fine as hell? I'm sorry, I just like a dude with golds. You don't like it?
I think he looks better than her.
Oh, he definitely looks better than her.
Right before I had Gideon.
The trigger. No, no worries. Here you go, love.
Yeah, right before I had Gideon, I had a miscarriage. But with that, I went through my miscarriage alone. He went to the doctor's appointment with me, but they told me it wasn't a viable pregnancy due to the low heart rate. And he went to Miami to go work, and I went through my miscarriage by myself.
I'm so sorry to hear that. So why do you think he was denying her?
He said she was too light-skinned.
I mean, you're just hearing this story and you're just like, wow. This young woman has had 2 children after miscarriages and she's just looking for support. She's just looking for love. And then you hear the fact that she's like saying that he's cheating 'cause he goes out of town a lot. I mean, you gonna be suspicious. What do you expect from him if the DNA test proves that he is the father?
Well, when it proves that he's the father.
She said, when it proves that these are his children. She said, period, when it proves when it proves. She said when it proves. She stood 10 toes down on that. When it proves these are his children. The fact that we are doing a DNA test and we are also unlocking phones, there's a lot going on in this relationship. It's time to hear Nikko's side of this story. So everyone please welcome Nikko to the show. Let's bring out Nikko. How y'all doing? How y'all doing? How you doing, sir? How you doing, Karamo? Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. Yeah, man. Khalil, you know I care about you and all, whatever. But to my side of the story— Yes. Okay, so I was raised in Texas, and then at 9th grade I moved to Florida, and then I went to undergrad in Florida. And he is a typical Florida man, and that's why I think, like, that I like that whole look. I enjoy it. She know when we met, I work a lot. I travel a lot when I'm—
I'm a foreman.
I do construction, freelance construction. Okay. So I can be working from 2 weeks to a month at a time. It all depends on how long the job is. Yeah, that makes sense. But I also got 2 places. I have my own place in Miami and I also live with her in Jacksonville. So I'm paying rent at 2 places. Got it. You feel what I'm saying?
But the place he has, that's where I came from. Came and I saw female stuff at the house in Miami though.
Is that true that she's here? And at the same time, she know that I rent my spot out when I'm not there to help me pay with the bills, and other single men live there.
Yeah, I was never told that.
What am I supposed to do? I can't control who they bring there when I'm not there. Got it. I mean, he's justifying what's going on. He's letting you know. It sounds, sounds good. Why do you question if these children are yours? Let me get to that. Uh, mainly with my daughter. She is a lighter child, you know what I'm saying? I don't really have lighter complex in my family. So, but mainly is that she's kind of starting to look like my mom now. Okay, okay. She said that, she said that you start to see a resemblance to your mother. So even with the resemblance to your mother now, you're still questioning? Yeah, because my background, where I come from, I've been an athlete all my my life. I've always been popular. I've always had, you know, a lot of attention. And not only having a baby pimped on me before— Oh wow. How y'all feel about gold teeth and grills? I know that's not what we're here to talk about. How y'all feel about it? I think it's cute. I like it. You like it too? Okay, we all like it. I like it. I love it. Okay, so in this envelope, you questioned if Gideon could be your child. She said that you treat him a little different. So in this envelope is the DNA truth to know if this is your son or not. This is not my truth to open, it's yours. I mean, the babies do look like their mama, but I don't see the resemblance with him. So here you go. You can read it out loud for us. Man, I, look, man, I really, 'cause I really want these kids to be mine, actually, yeah. I don't want it to be no bad blood between us, you feel me? She already said to you that she stands 10 toes down, these children are yours. And like I said before, I done been through this before where I've had to go back and forth with a woman and get my name taken off the birth certificate and all of that. Oh, the fact that he's been through it before where there's been a woman that has said that these children are his and there wasn't, I can understand his nerves. What does it say? What does it say? What does it say? Let me read it again. Maybe if I close it and open it again, it'll say something. He acting a fool now. What does it say? Oh, I remember this one. This all come back to me. Okay, now I'm back. Nikko Gideon is not your biological son. I'm back, I remember this episode, I remember every bit of it. Yep, uh-huh, not his child. And she stood 10 toes down saying it is yours, not a doubt. Tell me what happened. And she's still looking there like, what? No, we don't want them crocodile tears now. Why do we say crocodile tears, by the way? Is it because crocodiles don't cry, do they? Like, what does that came from? What do you have to say? I felt like something wasn't right, bro. My mama told me to. She said, you better go get it done. You know what happened last time. Oh, the poor man. To have one woman lie about saying that this was your child and now to have another woman do it. Oh, I remember this. Yeah, he's in shock and he's disappointed. Khaleel, what are you saying? 'Cause you're quiet in this moment. Yo, that's crazy, bro. That's crazy, bro. Do you have anything to say to him? I would hope so. I hate that I'm asking her, "Do you have something to say?" and you have nothing to say. It's a lot, bro. All that you was accusing me of doing for nothing. Were you trying to backtrack? You was trying to cover some pages up or something? Khaleel, anything you want to say to him? Anything, what do you want to say? 'Cause you just told us that in this entire time, Oh, I remember this one. What does it say? This. I'll come back to me. Okay, now I'm back. Nico, Gideon is not your biological slave.
I'm back. I remember this episode.
I remember every bit of it.
Yep. Uh huh. Not his child.
And she stood 10 toes down, saying, it is yours. Not a doubt. is that you've been telling him that this is your child. See what I'm saying? If you felt during that time that he was not being the right man for you because he was out of town, then you make a decision to leave him. You don't make a decision to lead him on. You heard that? You make the decision to leave, not lead on. He trying to preach to y'all. He trying to preach to y'all. That pink lady is trying to teach y'all. He's trying to tell y'all, okay? Listen to the pink lady. Pink Lady.
It's not like I knew for a fact that it wasn't his baby, 'cause like I said, it wasn't a one-time thing.
So if you thought it was a possibility, why didn't you tell him? I asked you if you had doubts. And I told you too, like, if it happened, it happened, you know what I'm saying? Give me the opportunity to choose to participate. I grew up with a household with a stepfather. In this envelope is the DNA truth for your daughter, your oldest daughter. Okay, we got the second DNA truth. I don't have too much faith now. After she done lied about the first one, I don't got too much faith. Again, this is not my truth to open, this is yours. So here you go. Once y'all see my foot start doing this, y'all know I ain't got too much faith. You ready? Yeah, I guess. Here you go.
I guess I don't have a choice.
Uh-huh. You see that foot down there? I know exactly how it's feeling. Uh-huh. Oh, it's got a 2 on it too. I got her age on it, bro. What does that one say? Oh, she trifling. She is trifling. Yo, I feel so sorry for this brother. I don't know if to laugh or cry, bro. Nicole. Onyx is not your biological daughter. 3 children pinned on him, 3 of them not his. The PTSD, the trust issues that will come, it breaks my heart. Oh. Okay, Khaleah, what do you have to say about this? How dare you? Savannah, he was a good man. He is a good man. And you did that to him?
Like with Onyx, like I didn't be with nobody else.
Well, you clearly was with someone else. Is there anything you wanna say to Nikko?
Onyx is his daughter. I wasn't with nobody else.
Onyx is not his daughter. Onyx is not his daughter. Onyx is not his daughter. I can't stand when people like still stay committed to their lies. Like, you've been caught. Onyx is not his daughter. So is there anything you wanna say to him?
Do you actually have actual tests and stuff like that just says that?
See, Khaleah, this is what it is because this is starting to get me upset. Oh, please. Because the thing is like, he's been a great, this is the thing. Cuss her out, Karamo, get her ass together. You're sitting here and we're listening to your story, you're crying tears, and the person who should really be crying right now is the person who's been lied to consistently by you. It has been clear that for 3+ years, you have been sitting here lying to this handsome, attractive, smart man. You've been lying to him. You've been lying to this beautiful man, girl, what is wrong with you? Talking to this man, telling him this, accusing him, even though you had access to his phone, you had all these things that were, you had, you had every, he's going to work, coming back, paying bills. And yet during this time you're still lying to him. And in the moment where you can say, I'm sorry for this, you are sitting here like, well, what you want me to say? I want you to woman up and say, I fucked up. When y'all get me in my Steve Wilkos era, me cussing, you know I'm upset, okay? And I'm sorry for cussing, I apologize. I apologize, I try to be a professional on this, but this is the same thing I feel for when men do this. This is inappropriate. Don't try to walk away. Brother, you don't even need to worry about her. Brother, don't even worry about her. Don't even worry. Well, I'm gonna tell you right now, she's affected your whole life, everything, and this is the best decision you ever made. But the thing is that man to man, I'm sorry because I can hear that you've been working hard. I'm just glad that you now can be clear, and I hope that you clean your slate with her. And let me encourage you with one thing left. There's gonna be a moment you're gonna have to grieve the relationship with her and these kids. You're gonna have to also reconcile the fact that you have trust issues now. There's now some trust issues. And I had 'em before, I really have 'em now. Yeah. I told her, I went through this in college. I know. You can hear the tremble in his voice. Oh, that's so sad. But what I want for you is I want to give you some tools to understand that there is a woman out there that's going to love you and value you. I know that this man is not with her, but I really hope that he understands to continue to trust his gut. The lesson in this for you is take it slower, trust your gut, continue to trust your gut. That's crazy 'cause I wasn't even gonna come. Oh, he wasn't gonna come on the show. See, this is why y'all gotta come to the Karamo Show. I'm gonna give y'all the truth. You heard that? He said he wasn't gonna even come. So he was about to raise this woman's two children for 18 years and then find out at 18. You mean, you're concerned about sleeping with somebody else, bro? Yeah, she was sleeping with somebody else. Yeah. You gonna take me up on my offer? Yes, I will. All right, give me a handshake, bro.
Thank you.
Cheers. Thank you so much. Cheers to you, man. I'm glad you're outta here. Oh, poor thing. She took this kind and smart former athlete with a beautiful jawline and literally tried to lie to him and entrap him and didn't wanna own up to it. Ugh, she gets on my nerves. But I'm glad that he got his answers. And hopefully he finds somebody who's gonna love and respect him. Can I get an amen? Amen. And if you need the DNA truth for, if you need some DNA truth for the clarity in your life, you hit us up 'cause we gonna do that for you, okay? We gonna figure it out for you. You saw how he didn't wanna come on the show and you see what happened. He came on here and got his clarity and his truth. So hit me up. I'm always gonna be there for you.
When I first got shot, I was very like, you know, mean. Like I didn't even wanna be here. So I was a certain kind of way where—
Let me tell y'all the okie-doke about this. Not to give Barry the lead or tell y'all what happened later. Let me give y'all the okie-doke. I was so like, oh, she's so calm. She's so healed, she's so ready. And that attitude changed quick. That's why sometimes, you know, like when I work the social services, you gotta do multiple visits because like somebody present their best foot forward and then later on you'd be like, oh, now I see the real, real. Has she become negative and argumentative with you?
Very.
Uh-huh. In what ways?
I can't tell her nothing.
Mm-hmm.
She's not in school. She was kicked outta school. She stole from the stores, but it's all because of other people. Like, 'cause when we lived somewhere else, she didn't do it.
And she fighting at school too?
She was fighting in school, physical with the teachers as well. I be feeling like school could make you, you know, not like your kids 'cause they always calling, you know? So, and that's what I be trying to tell Mimi. Like, it's like things give me a reason to be mad at you. Like, I be just minding my business and either you do something where the cops gotta be knocking at my door or the school calling me. School was calling me.
Yeah, that's the realest thing I've ever heard anybody say. And I've never heard anybody say this, but I just took myself back to when my son was in 9th grade and he was having some problems. When you just said school will make you feel like you don't like your kid, that is the realest. I mean, every time my phone rang when I was at work, I was like, you a damn lie. My phone is, I was like, you a, my phone is not ringing again. And it was like my frustration was just, I've never heard anyone put it like that. But it is the realest thing I've ever heard.
And then it's the stuff that they tell you.
I gotta ask you, what do you remember about that day in August of 2018?
When I woke up, my mom was on the floor. She told me to go outside 'cause she got shot. So I went outside and I called the cops and they came.
Got it. And what do you feel like your mom does not understand about you?
That I'm gonna do stuff and she's not going to accept it. Like, yes, I'm gonna go outside with my friends, and she always want me to go in the house and do chores every fucking day. And I'm not finna do that.
What kind of chores does she want you to do?
Like the dishes and shit. I'm not finna do that. Lying. I do my own dishes, shit. You're lying. Clean up after your cats. You're lying. And I do. And you don't.
Mm-hmm.
Anyways.
You do realize teenagers have chores, right?
Mm, okay.
That we all do. Okay, listen. That we all do.
She was able to get $80 a week, right? Right? She got it one time.
That little stank look on her face. What's up, girl?
First of all, she didn't give me the money. I gave you $40 'cause I said I'm gonna hold $40. I'm smart. You ain't even hold the $40 up. Where's my other $40 though? Oh. You didn't do it the next week. Whatever. What? Think about it. Be for real though. Why would I give you the whole $80? I explained everything to you.
I spent my money.
You gonna get $40 and then I'mma hold $40. Did you clean up the next week to even get another $40? To even be able to save another $40? Okay, I tried, but— You're never consistent. We can have heart to hearts. First of all— We can have all that and it doesn't get to you. I do do my chores too. When my brother was in a program doing my chores, you're just ungrateful.
Ooh! Did this girl call my mama ungrateful, girl? Girl, not my house.
Mm-mm.
Mm-mm. You said—
And then you tell me that I don't do chores. OK, yes, I do. If you did what I tell you to do it, then make it make sense. And y'all can shut the fuck up, too.
Ooh, she got my audience to shut up, girl.
Ooh.
She got a little mouth on her.
Make it make sense. All right, so—
I'm not impressed by those type of actions. That's clearly, you can see. What's going on? What just made you say that?
Because they keep, yeah, like if you got something to say, say it.
Because they were having a reaction to how you acted?
Yep.
Okay. Tell me from your opinion, why did you get kicked outta school?
'Cause I was fighting and I got suspended. I got a smart mouth.
Mm-hmm. Where you think you got the smart mouth from?
Her.
Okay. And why are you fighting at school?
Because these got me fucked up.
And what do they have you messed up about?
They pop like it won't do nothing. But these is people that be friends. These is people that be friends though. These is people that be friends that she'll sneak out the window and do all type of shit and then y'all fight.
Okay, okay. And I heard you were stealing stuff. You were stealing makeup and hair stuff. Hair dye?
Yep.
You told my producers something that they just told me, which is you think your mother uses her wheelchair to make people feel sorry for her?
Yep. How the fuck can I use this wheelchair to make people feel sorry? Because you do that. I do everything by myself. Okay, watch your mouth. Like I said, like you said, she start shit. Explain. Like nobody was not coming at you crazy. Explain. Like I said, she talked to her friends. Don't waste your breath. Explain. Why you still talking though? I'm talking to him. Explain. Like I said, she literally talked to her friends about me. And all she say is, I'm in a wheelchair, yeah, she gonna do this in a wheelchair, in a wheelchair. Yeah, 'cause you popped the shit. 'Cause if I was standing up, you wouldn't be doing none of this shit. You don't know that. You don't know that. You are a liar. I'm not lying, you're lying. Since we moved to our new house, we've been cleaning the house. Yes. Yo, I swear to God, I don't care. It was only me and the house. I'm not lying. I'm not even playing right now.
You talking about producers that you said?
I ain't even playing with you right now. I'm not lying, you are.
You talking about producers that your mom maces you?
Yeah, she maces me. Do you mace me? And do.
You do?
Yeah.
It's the and do that I hate. It's like, don't stand in ignorant business. Don't stand in it.
She put her hands on me. Did you hit me with a bottle? You're lying. It's your lying. No, May May, you didn't hit me in my head with a bottle. No. Oh my God.
May May, Oh girl, it's a mess. Well, May May, you hit me in the head with a bottle.
Like I said, she literally hit me in the head with a bottle. I did it! Go get my phone so we can see the text.
What happened? What's in the phone?
Go get your phone. You really lying out here. Go get your phone. May May, did you hit me in my head with a bottle? I did it. You did not hit me in the head with a bottle. No, I didn't. She literally come in my room and shit the whole room. It's literally orange shit on the wall. You literally threatened to shit me too. I'm not like, okay, fine. I'll shit you again, you bitch. Hit me with a bottle. And what you talking about? I did not, bro. Do you ever lie on me? I'm not lying.
I'm gonna let you go back.
No, you are lying.
Yeah, so that you can see it. And then bye to you too.
You mad? Yeah, you're not even talking to you.
She says that her and your brother They're survivors. That's what she constantly says. My producers told me you said. She always says they're survivors. Does she call you a survivor?
No.
She doesn't call you a survivor?
Mm-mm.
Got it, got it. See, like I said to you, I saw the real you. You're 14 years old and I know the behavior we all watch, we're seeing you mimic it. We heard how your mom talks to you, so we know why you talk this way. So I don't blame you. I don't think you're a bad person either. I actually think you're pretty intelligent. I actually think you're pretty responsible. I actually think a lot. I think very highly of you, even with what I saw on this stage.
Thank you.
I do. I do believe you when you said that you have been taken care of a lot. When it feels like it's my responsibility responsibility where I feel like I don't know how to have a time to just be a kid. When I feel like I'm always having to do something and it's been years compounded. To your mom, it might seem like, oh, you're lazy today. But for you, it feels like I've always been doing this, right?
Yes.
Yeah, I know. That boy know how to relate to kids, girl. That's that training, girl. I could talk to a child.
I don't do a lot. Like, it's just, That's how my mom just don't understand me at all. And I'm like, talk to her. I keep trying to talk to her, but like, I just really can't talk to her.
Poor baby. There are so many kids that we look at them and we think that they have bad behavior. They're just bad people, but we forget they're just kids. And when they don't know how to deal with their emotions, they lash out. They do things that we as adults say, why are you doing that? But they're still just kids. What do you want her to know?
Like how I'm feeling when she's like calling me out my name and stuff.
How do you feel?
Like she brings me down. Like she talks about me. Like she calls me like a whore. I'm not a whore. I know who I am. I don't know, but like.
Yeah, so it brings you down. If your mom's calling you out your name every minute, like yeah, it can bring you down and make you react a certain way. I totally understand. I'm not saying it's right. So hear me out. I'm not saying it's right, but I understand it and I get it and I don't blame you. Does it feel nice to have somebody who understands you a little bit?
Yes.
Yeah, I can imagine. I talked to her. But can I ask you this? And this is where we gotta take accountability as adults, as parents. Would you talk to another little 14-year-old girl the way you talked to her?
I do.
Oh, she's so angry. She's so upset, which I understand why. You done been through a lot. You've been shot. This is, this is the only one that survived and came out with nothing. But you talk to other 14-year-old girls on the street like that?
If they, if they saying something to me smart, is that what you mean? Because I'm not just going to come up to a 14-year-old girl and be mean to her unless we not going to make it seem like she came out of me and I was I was talking to her like that. We're not gonna make it seem like that either.
I'm not gonna make it through over time.
This is somebody I gotta be around that'll look at me in a wheelchair, somebody to tell me to stand on that. Oh, I forgot you can't.
That is the most powerful thing I've ever heard. Stand on it. Oh girl.
Oh, that's, that's some kid to you?
That's still a kid. Oh, because you know kids say nasty things. Oh, they do, they do. And I'm sure you said nasty things when you was a kid too. And unfortunately kids say nasty things to their parents sometimes too.
I did not know that. I did not know a kid would say that to their mother.
Yeah, I've heard worse.
That's crazy. That's a shame.
It is a shame.
It's a shame.
But what I want you to understand is that it doesn't make it right. And I'm sorry she said it to you.
What I'm supposed to say? Oh baby, don't say that shit. What I'm supposed to say?
I didn't say that.
Tell me. No, I want you to tell me for real what I'm supposed to say. I really honestly wanna know. Like I really do.
I would tell you that matching her energy is not gonna help you to figure out what to say or to figure out how to make this relationship better.
So I'm just supposed to feel this small as a child?
I don't think you should feel this small as a child.
It's saying something to me.
But it's the communication.
Even if I'm telling her to leave me alone, get out my face, none of that works? I still just gotta be the bigger person?
Unfortunately.
Oh, can't do it.
Unfortunately.
Can't do it. It's only a couple people that said some shit about this wheelchair that'll never get the same me again.
Are y'all crazy? Hold on, you just said the issue right there. There's a couple people who have said things about me in this wheelchair who would never get the same me again. And unfortunately, one of those people is your daughter. Mm-hmm. So that is something that you have to heal before I can heal the relationship with you and your daughter.
I don't know how to do it, so I don't know.
If I get your daughter to apologize, can you receive it?
I guess.
You guess? All right, so I talked to your mother and we talked about what we talked about. I shared her with what I said with you and I understand her feelings as well. I understand how she's feeling, but there's a comment that you made to your mother that It still sticks with your mom. And I know when we feel hurt, we say things 'cause we gonna jab. Do you remember what you said to your mother?
Mm-hmm.
What was it?
You can't walk, something like that. But like I said it 'cause like she was coming at me crazy.
Hold on.
Sorry.
I understand. Look at that little girl. She says sorry to me quick. I'm telling you, you can get a little kid to like understand boundaries. But not when you act crazy. They'll model your behavior quickly. I understand. I heard you and I heard her. She came at you crazy, so you said something that you felt was gonna hurt her back. I know. Can you apologize to your mother for that comment and really mean it?
I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I will never accept you because you said that shit.
Oh, damn, and she knew that was coming, that's why she was smiling. Girl, done. So, yeah, so the thing is when you've been through trauma and you've had these issues, is there a way to forgive? Yes. But the thing is that you got to let go. And sometimes people get— it's easy for them to hold on to the pain, hold on to the anger, hold on to something said because it gives them— it makes it— it makes it it seem like it gives an answer or a reason for what went on. Like her anger towards that one comment is misguided because I'm sure other things have been said she forgot, but she cannot forget this one thing. And because she's holding on to that anger, they'll never be able to go anywhere further. And the sad part is that that little girl would be willing to do what she needs to do. As you saw, I told her to hold on and she apologized and she got right back in line. There's a path for that little girl to get back in line. She just needs somebody who's going to be stern, but also loving. Even you taking the opportunity to model that behavior and try to like apologize and do it when I know you felt uncomfortable. I understand. I see who you are. And I think that there's still even more room to be grown.
Mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm-mm.
We should do an update on them, see where they at. I know that you want a relationship with your mother. I know you do. You're gonna have to do some work too. And you're young right now, but you can start to learn that you can actually make different choices. You know, you see the smile when the daughter was apologizing. Yes, that apology was genuine. She's a 16-year-old kid on national TV. She's smiling because she's uncomfortable, because she's nervous, because she also knew the reaction that was gonna come from her mother. So yes, it's genuine. She just needed, she was trying to give it to her. You gotta forgive. These moments?
Why would I say I forgive her when I think she gonna do it again? How about I know she gonna do it again?
Well, that's the cycle there. Until you can forgive and believe that forgiveness, you're never gonna see your daughter the way that you're supposed to see your daughter. Poor babies. I feel sad for them. That all has to do with the mother. When you hold onto anger, there's nothing this kid can do. Relationships that need to be forgiven need to be fixed between parents and children, it's the parent's duty, not the child's duty. And so if the parent can't take the first, second, third step, then the child will never get there. And that's point blank. It's not the opposite way around. And anybody who tells you differently, tell them to call my show and I'll cuss their ass out. So I heard you were upset, um, when you were asked to unlock your phone.
Yes.
Okay, why? Hold on, so I got a question to ask y'all really quickly. Have y'all been noticing I've been trying to ease up my style a little bit, do a little everyday chic. Y'all like it? 'Cause I ain't got no feedback yet. Y'all like this outfit? Y'all think it's cute? 'Cause I'm trying to do it like suits and a little something. Anyway. You two have kids?
Well, I have 4 kids. Hold on.
So y'all got— Do that math real quick. So, 'cause it said that y'all got together in the first 3 months. Y'all got married in the first 3 months. So you've only been— With knowing this man 9 months? So yeah, they've been together for such a short amount of time. That's why you're on the show. If you ever been in a relationship and all of a sudden you find yourself on a daytime talk show, just let you know that relationship is toxic. If you've been together less than a year and you on a daytime talk show, just know it's not worth it. It ain't worth it.
He thinks I'm still in love with my youngest child's father.
Got it. Is this why he wants to go through your phone?
No, 'cause he's the one that had a girl calling him that he would never answer when I'm around. That's his best friend. Come to find out they used to sleep together.
Mm.
And I caught him talking crap about my kids to her.
No, no, no, you can't talk crap about the children. Don't do it. Listen, if we dating, you talk something about my kids, just know you gotta go. What about him and his phone?
Exactly.
Okay, you said my exactly.
I need to see his phone.
My producers say a specific female kept popping up on his phone. His phone. Is that the one you were talking about?
Yes.
So I saw some comments online, they were talking about her tattoos. People were like, she got— you can't trust a girl with the tattoos all over her neck and stuff. I don't know if y'all know this from my arms, I am very tatted up, so I don't know, like, I ain't gonna do the tattoo judgment. And I see all them tats, there's tat tat tat tat tat underneath this. Hey Doug, nice to meet you. How you doing? Thanks for being here. We love a short king. That looks young, okay. Well, I don't like when people be calling her phone or whatever when she's at work, but they won't necessarily call when she's at home.
Who?
Burger Boy and that old man.
My baby daddy.
There's so much insecurity in this relationship. So what they calling about? And then they're calling— It's always nothing good. No, and then they're calling on your specific lunchtimes. And then when it's coming at home, they'll talk on the phone for like 2 seconds with their kids, but they'll have long-ass conversations with you During your lunch?
About the kids.
Man, come here now, come on, quit playing.
About the kids.
Every day. Have you gone through her phone before? Unfortunately, yes. Again, if you a year in and y'all already going through each other's phones, it's a wrap, don't do it. It's like, just break up, break up. And how upset did that make you?
Livid.
Why? Because some certain stuff that she's discussing with them, I don't feel that she should should put our family's business or what's going on in our relationship to talk to them about. Oh, so she shares your personal stuff with her exes? Yes. Is that true?
No.
Okay. Like, I know y'all on here commenting about how she's slouching. I read the comments. Y'all talking about her body language, how she's sitting. I'm gonna tell y'all this. Those couches aren't designed for you to relax back in. They're designed for you to sit up. So, they're not as comfortable. My seat is cute. Like, I be like lounging, but their seat, them, That is not like a plush couch. I just wanna let y'all know that right now. This is not the couch. We saved a coin on that couch. So she slouches like this. Maybe she has bad posture, but that couch ain't good either. So if there is something on the phone, you don't wanna leave the relationship, but you want some counseling? Yeah, I'm truly in love with my wife. Okay. Like I'm 10 toes on my wife. 10 toes on it. Many, many sacrifices for me. So you made sacrifices? Sacrifices as well. I left my beautiful home in Central West End in St. Louis. Oh, when people tell me they uproot their lives and do all this with somebody new, again, unhealthy behavior. Don't be uprooting your life for somebody you just met. And it's just like I'm a prisoner in the home. This is my only happiness, and those 4 little kiddos. I saw some of the comments, people were like, why do men sabotage their lives for somebody else? I don't think it's just men, I think it's women as well. I think people will sabotage their own lives because they're so desperate for love, they're so desperate to see someone, to feel supported. Let's be very real, most of us feel alone, feel lonely, don't know how to be alone with ourselves. We feel like we need companionship in those harder moments instead of understanding that we have ourselves and that we can actually be there for ourselves, give ourselves that comfort. And so you end up like not paying attention to red flags just not paying attention to the things that you need to. And then you end up sabotaging your whole life because of looking for love. So you feel like the intimacy, you're having some intimacy issues? Yes. I'm trying to give her that thang. I'm trying to, I want a baby. I'm trying to get busy for real. So, Judge, you wanna know if LaToya has been texting with any other men? If LaToya has been on dating apps on her phone and if LaToya has any explicit videos on her phone? Yeah, I, I, I did want to know that. Yeah. Okay, okay.
Well, I want to know what you doing.
Oh, well, we going to find out now, cuz it's time to unlock the phone. Doug, we unlocked your phone first. I love the new zoom in. Toya, you want to know if Doug has been texting with any other women? I don't even remember what was on his phone. My Unlock the Phone investigators searched his texts and found that Doug is telling the truth. Okay, good. I don't really even remember it after we get off the show, like what the results are. Wanna know if Doug has DMs with any other women? Doug, you got DMs? Doug says he does not. My Unlock the Phone investigators searched his DMs and found that Doug is telling the truth. Oh, Doug, okay, Doug, you telling the truth, Doug. You telling the truth. Latoya, you wanna know if Doug has any explicit videos on his phone. Doug says he does not. Doug. My unlock the phone investigator searched his videos and found that Doug is not telling the truth. He has 2 videos of sexual nature with 2 separate females.
Oh, these better be old.
It better be old. They gotta be. Let me tell y'all something. This is what y'all don't know. When I be getting that envelope, I don't even want to look at it, girl. I am not that person that want to see what other people got in their phone like that, and I don't even want to see it. But let me tell you something, my phone investor gonna be like, we found this and that, and I'd be like, some of y'all need to understand that your private parts are ugly and you should not take a photo of them. I'm gonna tell y'all that right now. You looked at it your entire life and you have fallen in love with it, but it is not cute. So stop taking photos of your private parts because they are ugly. To other people. That's my PSA announcement to you. That's my tip to you all.
Okay. I deleted all my stuff I had.
Yeah. She said she deleted everything. So— No, you can't. 'Cause y'all weren't together in September 9th, 2023, right?
No. No.
Okay, good. So these are— So this ain't that old. You talking about you couldn't go 6,000 months. This ain't that old. You could have clicked back. I could easily get to 2023 in my photos. Photos and videos.
Exactly.
So that's all we found. He does have these still on his phone. Is that an issue for you?
I just wanna know why you ain't delete it.
I mean, babe, I went back and deleted it. So if you're in a relationship, does that mean you have to delete all the photos and stuff from previous relationships? Because I don't think you have to. I mean, I feel like there's something controlling about it. Like if you're in a relationship and someone says we gotta delete everything from our past, I think it's a little bit controlling. I don't think you need to. Now, it is different if you have a hidden folder and you're specifically keeping photos and videos of your ex and you're making sure it's hidden. Now, there's some duplicitous about that. All right, well, Doug, you want to know if LaToya has been texting with any other men. LaToya says she is not. My Unlock the Phone investigator searched her texts and found that LaToya is not telling the truth. She has 116 inappropriate texts text exchange between her and 3 different men from January. One of them was her child's father. Can I see the evidence back? Yeah. Hold on, she got 160 messages. Ooh, girl, don't come out yet. We gonna find it. Look at her, what's she saying? She nasty. We got staples in it. She nasty. She got a book. A book. I mean, there's one that my producer want me to point out right here. My investigator, this is one that my investigator wants me to point out. It says, "Good morning, I've been good. How you been doing? I'll be single as soon as I drop this clown back in Memphis." Ooh, she called you a clown. I don't even know who Playboy is.
That was about my ex.
I'm good. Since January? Yeah.
He was living with me.
Since January, all these. January. They keep going on. Right on. Between, you know, as well? Burger Boy. Okay. Oh, Burger Boy. February. In February? Uh-huh. Sorry, in February. Were y'all together in February? Yeah. Okay, it says, sorry for putting that on you. Baby, you supposed to. I love it when you. She trifling. She trifling and she knows she trifling. Why people don't realize that I'm gonna find it? You know, they still don't realize I'm gonna find it on their phone. I get it. You do know we find things that are deleted. It keeps going all the way through of saying, talking about their sex. I guess they also talked about having another baby. Having another baby with this burger boy? He sends a photo of you of a child and say he wants to have another baby together. Let's see. He said he wanna have another baby together. Have y'all been trying to have a baby together? Man, I've been trying to get busy. I love the woman. I love this woman. Yeah. Okay. Wholeheartedly. Okay. Well, let's continue on with this unlocking the phone. Doug, you wanna know if LaToya has any dating apps on her phone. LaToya says she does not. My Unlock the Phone investigator searched her apps and found that LaToya is not telling the truth. She has Tinder on her phone that she just logged into 3 months ago.
No, I don't.
Why do they like to say, no, I don't? What do they? First of all, let me tell anybody who's watching this, we have an entire legal department here at NBC Studios that has has to approve everything that we do. So we just can't start making up shit because legal will be like, no, we're getting sued. So anything we say has to be verified, checked, sent, signed, sealed, delivered, all the above. So when we tell y'all something, trust me, there is about 30 suits that already said yes to this information. So don't come in here, come on, what? I didn't do that. Girl, we got it, we've checked it, we've double-checked it. And now we letting your ass know, and you just got caught. Is there any reason you don't want to have a baby?
My tubes are tied.
What? Oh, oh, yo, tubes tied? Did you know that her tubes were tied? So you got a chastity belt on the mushu? Calling it the mushu is the craziest thing ever, by the way. Listen, break up with somebody if they call your coochie a mushu, okay? If someone calls your vagina a mushu, that is grounds to break up. Now, this was heartbreaking to me because this is what I mean. When you get into a bad relationship that is toxic, not only does it affect your mental health, but he started to assume that it was affecting his body. That's how gaslighting lies can truly affect you. He assumed that there was something wrong with his body. And that's a problem because that type of like deceit is like that's— that has having like real life implications on how he sees himself and how he feels about his body. This is why it's so important to get out of toxic relationships 'cause you'll really lose yourself in 'em. Well, we got a pattern here is not telling the truth. She has two sexual videos she made with her ex in February. I saw the videos too. Girl, I didn't want to, but I saw 'em. Uh-uh. I saw 'em. So I asked you a very specific question if you thought you got into this marriage too quickly. You said the communication has been the best it's ever been. And clearly you know that you might have been communicating, but she has not. The communication has been one-sided, has not been honest. Run, girl. Like, and she talking about like, I got caught. That's how she did. Get your ass off my stage, girl. What I heard is a man that made a lot of sacrifices, that has been putting himself second because you fell in love with a woman. And I think, and this the same advice I'd give to a woman. I think it's time that you start putting yourself first. Amen. Amen. That should go back to season 1 when I had no grays in my beard, and now it's season 3, my beard is so full of grays. Oh Jesus, I'm stressed. Y'all see all these grays? They came up in a matter of 3 seasons. That's what dealing with other people's problems will do to you, okay? I don't want none of y'all at home to get grays, so y'all let me deal with people's problems. Y'all only deal with your own, okay? Honestly, do you wanna stay in this relationship? He gonna stay. He gonna stay. He gonna stay. It's just like when girls be like, "I know I wanna leave, but I'm not going to." He gonna stay. Displayed on here, whatever that she's forgiven me for, that doesn't— She was fucking her ex in February and she lied to you about having her tube tied and you trying to stay? What's wrong with him? Are any of y'all that toxic in here? Would you stay in a bad relationship like that? Good, thank you, thank you, thank you. Okay, I was about to say, don't, about to say. And he did this for me and he stuck with me through my bad times does not mean that you have to start sacrificing. You just said on this stage that you started questioning your own health. Tell him. You don't understand, those things play into your mental health as well. These things play into your mental health. Your value, your worth, it starts to play into it. And what will happen, a year in, 2 years in, you will find yourself feeling— You just saw how she was talking to her ex, the same ex that you asked her not to have these type of relationships with. Tell him. I plead with you that you walk off this stage and you figure out and choose yourself. Choose yourself. He was living with me.
We wasn't even married.
You gonna choose yourself? You gonna choose yourself?
I don't even talk to him.
Listen, all right, I'm gonna let y'all have this conversation, but I'm gonna leave you one last thing. Just because you stuck with her during the rough times doesn't mean we have to be stuck with her, okay?
So, give you the same question.
I'm very happy for you. Best of luck. I wish you the best of luck. Game over. Bye, girl. That's all I gotta say to that. Any closing remarks? Nope. I hope he left her ass. But I'm sure he didn't. Mm-mm-mm-mm. Game over, girl. Bye.
