Two sisters who haven't spoken in four years use a reset technique on the Karamo Show: they tell each other "I don't know you" to strip away past hurt and start fresh. One sister admits she's scared but wants to actually know her sibling again.
So I'm not doing this for a TV show. I'm doing this 'cause it was an opportunity given and it was outta nowhere. You understand me?
I'm gonna tell y'all this. So these sisters didn't call the show. One of their friends called the show and said, "I got two sisters that I think could use your help." Right. So the one piece of advice that I could give you both is to say to your sister, "I don't know you and you don't know me." And even though we've known each other for 4 years, You don't know her and she does not know you.
Right.
And I want you to ask each other, can we learn who we are without all this other, what everybody else says and without what's gone in the past? I'm telling you, it's a step that I've used many times in helping families come together. Say, I don't know you.
Right.
I want you to turn to your sister right now and say, I don't know you.
I don't know you. Girl, I don't know you.
But I'd like to know you.
That scares me, but I would love to. I wanna get to know my sister.
