What was your motivation for contacting the show?

I contacted the show because I really need to know who my father is.

Yeah.

You know, I grew up with one man last name and then I grew up knowing another man my whole life. But throughout, like when I was younger, one family member told me that he was not my father. And then another family member told me as an adult, which was on his side, so it was two different people and said the same thing and said that it could be potentially his cousin. So when I brought it up to my mom, you know, she denies it and everything, but.

So those are the 3 different men that could be your father? Who are they again?

Well, yes, Reynard and.

And then there's another guy, my brother's father. Yeah, I have his last name.

Okay. And so which one of them raised you?

Reynard.

Reynard did. Yeah. So he raised you. Was it a good relationship?

Well, yeah, it's always been a good relationship, but he didn't really raise me 'cause he was always in prison, like in and out. My mom raised me.

So who do you believe your father is?

Well, I'm not sure because he's short, my mom's short, and I'm tall. And his cousin is tall, so.

And who did your mother tell you your father was?

I do, yeah, it's good.

When you were a kid and you were hearing people just talk about who could be your father, What was that like for you?

I was probably 10 when my auntie first said it, but I just, you know, I was so young, I just like brushed her off like, you know, she's crazy anyway. So I just kind of brushed her off. But when I heard it again, like as an adult, like just hanging out with his side of the family, you know, that's when I was like, mm. And me and him talked about it and we always said we'll get a DNA test, but I moved 2 years ago, like 9 hours away. That's why I really called the show. Like, I think this is how we're gonna get our answer.

Yeah. So Reynard is the one who told you that his cousin might be your father?

No, he never, he never.

No, I think I just spoke to him once. I probably met him when I was little because I used to be at his house a lot, Reynard's house. I don't remember that. But I did speak to him when I got back in contact with Reynard as a teenager over the phone. I think he just reached out and was like, "Hey, I'm happy that, you know, we found you again," and stuff like that. You know, stuff like that. And I just sent him some pictures of me. I didn't talk to him again after that.

Have you seen him since then, the cousin?

No, I actually heard he passed.

So you just said you were there when your cousin was In a relationship with her mom?

So there's been several times in your life that you've had people pin children on you that were not yours.

Yes, right.

Wow. That's interesting. That's interesting. No, no, no, no. Because that goes to, it also plays in and it's not right for you as a child because you should never be the victim of these things that adults and choices they made. But it gives context.

But it gives context to me of why there could also be doubt. Do you want a relationship with her if she is your daughter?

Yes, I do. I really do want a relationship with Diamond.

What would you do if she's not your daughter?

Well, Karamo, if she's not my daughter, I'd be sad, but you know, I'm gonna still be in her life. I still wanna be in her life and you know.

If he's not your father, do you still want him in your life?

To me, it wouldn't really matter because He wasn't like there my whole, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, he was gone most of the time.

So we're getting a ping and this is a statement from Diamond's mother. It says, I don't understand why he's doing this. He doesn't really care. He's been in and out of jail all this time and I don't know why he's worried about it as if he's been there.

Why would she tell me that's my daughter if she didn't, if that why I'm doing this? Why she lied to me then?

He is her father, so I don't know why he's acting like he's not. It's crazy.

Yeah, I haven't been in there. I've been incarcerated in and out. But every time I came home, this is when I was younger, you know, you just pass catch up with, I'm old, man, I'm getting old up now. I'm not that old, but I ain't no 48 years old. But this happened when I was in my 17, 18, you know what I mean? And what she's saying that, why was she telling me why I'm doing it? And she know, She know.

And I didn't come really bad, but Diamond don't really know, you know?
