I Slept With My Girlfriend's Mother! | KARAMO

In this episode of Karamo’s talk‑show, guests Bridget and Terry discuss a volatile one‑year relationship marked by constant accusations of cheating, daily break‑ups, and emotional abuse. Bridget claims her boyfriend (Terry) obsessively tracks her via Google Timeline and calls her derogatory names, while both admit to infidelity. Terry reveals he met Bridget through her mother, discloses a 17‑year age gap (he is 47, she is 30), and admits he previously slept with her mother. Karamo, acting as mediator, unlocks Bridget’s phone on‑air, finding no incriminating texts or apps but a deleted photo of a man identified as her son’s uncle. The host uses the evidence to highlight the lack of concrete proof of cheating, repeatedly urges both parties to reflect on why they stay in the relationship, and ultimately advises them to consider ending it. The episode blends sensational revelations with a focus on trust, surveillance, and the consequences of repeated betrayals.

My guest Bridget says her man is constantly accusing her of cheating and no matter how many times she says she never has, he just won't let it go. She desperately wants me to unlock her phone to prove that she is innocent. Everyone, please welcome my guest Bridget to the show.
Hi, Bridget. How you doing?
How are you?
Can I have a hug? Nice to meet you.
You too.
Yes, you look super cute.
This orange is nice. Thank you.
So how did you meet Terry?
Through my mom.
Through your mom. Your mom hooked you all up. Okay then, usually when your mom hooks you up, it's all good. Everything is great. You're like, not this time.
No.
So what's going on in this relationship? Are you happy right now?
I'm happy, but there's a moment, a few moments every single day where I'm not.
Oh yeah. What happens each day where it's like it gets to the place where you don't feel happy anymore?
We break up multiple times a day.
Hmm, really? How did you get to the point of breaking up every day and needing to unlock your phone today?
He thinks that I'm cheating on him with anything that I do. I'm being sneaky with anything that I do.
Can I ask you a question? And this is what I ask for all my guests. Have you ever cheated?
No.
Not once?
Not one time.
So where does he get this from?
His imagination. He'll check my Google activity, my Google timeline.
I didn't even know you could do that. Google timeline, okay, what is that?
You can go on Google Maps and there'll be like a timeline of everywhere that you've ever went.
Oh yeah, now I know about that part. Okay, then yes, I didn't know it was called Google timeline. Oh yeah, okay, so he's tracking your locations and exactly which point you've been at.
Yes.
Wow, okay, then how long has he been doing that?
A few months.
Yes. So for a few months.
A long time.
So this is a 1-year relationship in totality that has him now the place where he's searching and accusing you and tracking your locations?
Yes.
Has he ever cheated on you?
Yes.
He has?
Yes.
So in the 1 year you've been together, he's cheated. How many times has he cheated on you?
He said twice, but Wow. I don't believe that. I think it's more than that.
Well, the fact that he would even admit twice, how did you find those times out?
The first time he asked me if I cheated on him, he told me he cheated on me to see if I would admit that I cheated on him. And it backfired on him 'cause I've never cheated on that man.
Yeah, and the second time, how do you find out?
I literally just found out about that the other day, last week.
Last week you found out he cheated a second time?
Yes.
Okay, when he said that to you, why didn't you leave?
Because I love him.
'Cause you love him?
I love him.
Yeah, okay.
And I believe that we can get through anything.
Yeah, and does he try to say things to you that are hurtful?
Yes.
Like what?
I'm a whore, I'm a slut.
And how long in this year relationship has he been calling you that?
Just recently.
Just recently?
Just the last couple months.
Okay, and what gets you back to the place where you wanna make up?
The beginning, we couldn't keep our hands off of each other. Not one time that we have not been without each other unless he was working or I was working.
So you're saying it's the sex that keeps you going, making up?
It's the love, really. I could care less about the sex.
Okay, I still haven't figured out why you're staying. I know you said because I love him, But what outside of love is keeping you here? What do you love about him?
I love his smile, his personality, his everything about him. I've never had this before.
Have you been in bad relationships before? Yes. So outta all the bad relationships you had before, this is the one that seems most healthy?
No.
No?
No.
So you recognize it's not even the healthiest of the ones you've been in?
No.
Okay. All right, well listen everyone, before we unlock her phone, let's at least hear what Terry has to say. So everyone, please welcome my guest Terry to the show. Hey Terry. How y'all doing?
How you doing? How you doing, sir? How you doing?
Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too, sir.
So tell me, why do you think she is cheating on you?
I'm just being honest. Her emotions, I go off of actions too.
Her actions.
As I say, when you're into somebody, 'cause I've been into her since day one. You pay attention to who or what your mate is. You see what I'm saying? And I pay attention to her mannerisms and everything. And I say her actions really show that she's not what she says. And when I catch her in certain things, you know what, baby? When I say that, deer in the headlight look. Like, as soon as I ask her— 'Cause you get nervous?
Nervous?
Terry.
It's just me and you. How am I gonna make you nervous?
You know you like to take my words and run with them.
How did you two meet again?
Through her mother.
Yes, through the mom.
Through the mom.
How did you know her mom?
I used to work with her and we used to, I don't say mess, we messed around before. Yeah, I'm just keeping it honest. I'm keeping it honest. Just keeping it honest.
Wow.
Yes.
Okay, I was not expecting that. Were you aware of that? Were you aware of that?
Yes.
You were?
Yes, I knew that.
You were aware of that, okay.
Yeah, she was aware of that.
Okay, what's the age difference between you two?
17 years.
17 years, okay.
Yeah, I'm 47 and she's 30.
Okay, okay.
Yes.
So do you keep tabs on her?
Not really. I started to, now I can say this, and she tell you now, be honest. I didn't do no phone checking, none of this. Like I don't do none of that. It got to the point where at first, that's why I was trying to show you, say actions speak louder than words. I was trying to show her I'm not gonna talk to nobody or nothing. I broke my first phone on purpose just to show like, I don't need the phone. I get in contact with my kids, my family the way I can. But I'm just trying to show you that I ain't worried about talking to nobody or anything. I went without a phone forever. There was no phone checking or this to where it was like, it started coming about with her. And I was like, why am I getting accused of so many things on certain levels? And I know I haven't done nothing. I feel like that's a guilty— Single day.
So the only reason outside of the two, but she did just say that she caught you cheating last week.
No, she didn't catch me. She asked me and I said, "Yes, I have." So you cheated again? Yes, I told, she asked me. She asked me.
So I wanna know, why are you in this relationship if you keep cheating? Why are you in this relationship? If you feel like you can't trust her, if you feel like she's lying to you and you have to go out there and find love from someone else, why are you staying?
I mean, put—
It's the same question I asked to her and I ask it to both guests because I wanna be fair.
Okay.
So why are you staying?
Nine times, I wanna say she asked me to. And you can't say, wait a minute, hold on.
Of course I asked you to because I love your ass.
Okay, 'cause there's plenty, I have tried to leave. I have tried to leave multiple times to say, 'cause I can't trust the situation. 'Cause I'm tired of going through it. So I'm like, if we don't have trust, it's over. Like I can't.
Did she hide her phone from you?
She definitely, I would say, hides her activities and things that she do, but I'm not the searcher, sir. Like, I'm really not the one that just runs around and, "Okay, let me see this," or whatever, until lately.
When was the most recent time she was messaging someone?
If you wanna be technical, the other day. And she say it's her friend.
It was not even no talk like that. He respect our relationship, Terry.
If he respect our relationship, he wouldn't be still texting him. Because he already said, "I like you more than whatever. I fell in love with you from the first day I seen you, this, this, that." So therefore, he likes you in a certain way, not as a friend. He looks at you like that. But if a woman looked at me like that, I don't even disrespect you and entertain the conversation. Really?
Really?
I mean, I cheated. I cheated. I admit that I'm wrong, but I understand what y'all saying, but—
Okay, so are you ready to— for me to unlock your phone to prove your innocence.
Please.
You ready?
Please.
Okay. All right, so we checked your phone for text messages, apps, and photos. When it came to text messages, we found zero text messages that were suspicious. When it came to apps, where you could be talking to anyone else or having any suspicious activities, we found zero apps.
I expect that.
When it came to photos, I did find one photo, but the interesting part is that I found it in the deleted folder 2 days ago. So it's interesting that you said that things might be deleted.
I know.
Do you know who that is?
My son's uncle.
That's your son's uncle. Do you know this guy?
Mm, no.
So you don't know if this is your son's uncle?
I ain't never seen that picture a day in my life.
Have you ever seen this man a day in your life?
No.
So you've never seen this man? So do you wanna explain to who this is?
The man is like 19. It's my son's uncle.
So why did you delete it before you told us to unlock your phone?
I was looking for photos for a smile picture for you guys.
Okay. And so you deleted that?
'Cause I didn't like the picture.
Got it. Okay, I got it. All right, so.
This man.
I ain't saying nothing.
Y'all already know what I'm about to say, right? I ain't saying nothing. Please tell me that when you leave this stage, both of you will kindly look at each other and say, "We don't need to be together." I'm gonna tell you something right now. As much as I want to actually have some sympathy for your situation right now, you're choosing to be with a man who's telling you he's cheating, who's told you he slept with your mother, who told you that he would get—
No, slept with my mother beforehand.
Nonetheless, you slept with her mom. I've never been in a relationship where I slept with my partner's parent. I mean, like, the levels of disrespect are just high, high, high, high. And the interesting part about it is that he's being very just forthright with it. He's just like, yeah, this is what it is. I did it, I'm doing it. And you're making the choice. So the funny part is like, as much as I wanna be like, you know what? Yes, you should be making better decisions. Terry, but you letting her know who you are. And one of the things for me is I'm saying when people get into relationships, I don't like when they don't tell someone who they are and then they sort of get tricked into it. He's not tricking you.
I never lied. I ain't lie about who I am, how I am, and what's going on in the world.
We all heard it. We all heard it. We all heard it. We all heard it.
That's what I'm saying.
I wish I could be like, of course, Terry, I'd say make better decisions. Decisions, of course, you know what I mean? I understand you've been hurt. I understand that you're making these choices and I would encourage you to make better decisions.
Yes.
Please. I'm not gonna pretend here and say like the things you're doing, but you have been upfront with her about who you are. Why don't you wanna accept who he is?
I guess I'm stupid.
No, you're not stupid.
I'm not gonna call you those words. There's nobody stupid. I'm not gonna call you those words because I'm not here to break down your self-esteem. I'm gonna say that why is it that you feel like you can't make a better decision for yourself? I asked you, what is it that's keeping you there? We all have reasons in our mind of why we stay in things.
'Cause he's not like that. I know he's not like that. He's not like that on a daily basis. He's only like that when he's mad at me.
But he's telling you who he is. Listen, I can see that he's a charming man and I see why you feel like on those days when you're not arguing, like it's good. You even said outta your own mouth you break up multiple times a day.
That's a lie.
That's a lie? You don't break up multiple times a day?
No.
Yes.
What goes on? We might, we do. Come on now. If you wanna say broke up, I wanna say if outta this year, if twice, if 3 times, like literally like broke up and I'm gonna say it for 24-hour span type stuff where I done left and then I done came back.
Well listen, you've gotten the facts. We only saw one photos in there. I didn't see another text message from her cheating with other people. So from what we know, If she's saying that's her cousin, I'm gonna believe her that she's not cheating. So if you wanna be vindicated for saying you're not cheating, we did scrub your phone, we did look through deleted photos, we did look through deleted texts, we did not see anything of you cheating. If you wanna believe that or not, it's up to you. My whole question for you, and I hope that when you leave this stage, you ask yourself, why am I staying in something? And it's not because you're stupid, it's because you're making a choice and you have to evaluate why you're making that choice. If you wanna be this man's friend, go for it, be this man's friend. But he is telling you right now what he is and what he's about. He's not trying to pull the wool over your eyes. He's telling you what he gonna do. Am I right?
Yeah.
Okay, I just wanna make sure. So do some soul searching, do some digging, figure out what it is for you of why you're staying in this. And I promise you the day you do that digging, he's gonna meet you where you need to meet because he said he's already been trying to leave. The ball is in your court. You are leading this game. So if you wanna continue playing, that's up to you. But I would suggest you put that ball down and walk outta this relationship. I wish y'all both the best of luck.
Thank you, sir.
