So how often does KYC accuse you of cheating?

So I was getting my phone back last night and I told him, I said, well, I'm gonna wait in here and go look around the hotel and he left out. So the security guard showed me around and it was a guy. So when we came out, he immediately approached like, "What are you doing?" I said, "Well, this is a security guard. He's showing me the pool." He's like, "I don't care. I don't care who he is." And so he said that everywhere we go, I'm always in somebody's face. He said I made up that excuse about getting my phone so I can run back and talk to the security guard.

Oh. And how long have you two been together?

Almost 9 years.

9 years. So what happens when he visits you at work?

Oh gosh. So I like him to come, 'cause you know, to bring my kids, 'cause I work at night, so I'm not able to see 'em. So I do call him there. It's not like he's stalking. But if he sees a guy that, okay, one day it was a guy standing by my office door and he said that it looked like the guy was waiting on me. I'd never even seen a guy because I'm in the office. I didn't even know what was going on.

And what does he say about your social media?

Oh God. Social media, we argue. Like I cannot get on Facebook. I mean, I still have my page, but I do not get on it because if I do, It's like, "Oh, only single people get on Facebook." You know, you're looking for something. It's a gateway to cheat. Now I'm on TikTok. Everything that I try to do, he stops it. Instagram.

And so— And he thinks everything's a gateway to cheat?

He said I'm not, he's not on, I don't have him on my TikTok. So he says that I'm living a single life. I'm trying to be sure to be single. And I'm like, "Dude, this is my TikTok. It's not KYC and Brittany." You feel what I'm saying?

Yeah.

It's my TikTok. So if I run a TikTok by myself, you're not even that type of person.

But he's like, "Oh, everybody else got they man." 'Cause as I'm tracking this, that it sounds like sometimes he acts more like your dad than your fiancé.

Would you agree with that? Yeah, I mean, he's a lot older than me.

How much older?

14 years.

14 years older, okay.

And so, yeah, and so he, and when we get into it, he's like, "Oh, I know you want somebody younger 'cause I'm getting too old." Gotcha. And that's not the thing. That's not it at all. I love him to death, you know? That's not the truth.

So what do you think needs to change in this relationship for it to work?

I just want him to change. I want him to trust me. I want him to be able to, like, if he comes to my work and somebody's passing through the parking lot, I want you to just stop thinking that it's for me because I'm not gonna be with you and cheat. You know what I mean? I don't wanna hurt nobody. It's karma. I believe in karma.

Well, a lot of the stuff was just said, I really don't agree with it because as we all know, nobody gonna do nothing if you're not giving an example. I'm not gonna feel a certain way unless I have been given a reason to feel that way, all right? And I overheard her say that I don't trust, I always see when a car pass in the parking lot. Because it already happened. I'm not gonna feel no type of way about nothing if it hadn't happened before.

See, now you see? Man, look, I never in my life I have been called controlling or nobody I've been with in the past said I'm controlling.

Maybe you're giving me that reason to be controlling or to try to, not controlling, but more or less to protect your image, to protect your well-being, to protect me as a person. 'Cause I am a person with feelings. Nobody want their woman talking to every person they see. Another thing too though, Karamo, back to what I was saying about your lunch. So I goes to the job, And you sitting up in there having a good time with lunch with another guy, keep laughing, having a good time, like, "Oh." So me as a man—

He wasn't even attractive. Like, "Oh my gosh." I can't speak.

But this is my fiancée sitting here at a dinner table with another man. I don't care if he green. It's just another man you sitting there with. Well, that's me. You sit down like that, you know, but, and I'm not supposed to have this thought or this image when you're doing things like that on the job, you know?

Did you communicate with him that you were having lunch with him?

Yeah.

Well, no, I mean, but he knew that the guy bought food. And when he bought the food, it was me, the manager, and him. But he caught the part when the manager wasn't sitting. She got up and went to the back.

Let me elaborate on that. Okay, okay. And she even said when I come out—

He was not the same race as me either. I don't date outside my race, not to be, you know. And so, and that's what the big thing was too.

But you sitting out with this man, you conversating about, women he didn't been with. Why is that?

And found she is not telling the truth. Brittany downloaded 3 separate texting apps, Text Me, TextFree, Text Now in February, but now all are deleted. And within those deleted texting apps, there were over 20 photos that were deleted as well. And so we're only finding what—

Right, yeah, but I mean, I use Text Now because my phone was off. I mean, he knew about that. I mean, as far as, I mean, I don't even know.

So I will say this, how do you explain Bumble? Because Bumble is a dating app.

Maybe I thought it was something else, but I've never signed onto that. I never, honestly, I've never—

And I have watched you shut him down each time in defense of your point. And in relationship, that's unfair. Because he's trying to express to me, just a third party, what he's been going through. And I haven't fully been able to get your story.

But then when he's arguing with me, all we fuss, I can't do that.

We keep arguing because I can't speak.

It's hard for me to love you if you fussing with me every day.

I think if y'all take that first step of writing down what you need in this relationship and then giving that to each other, it's a first big step.
