In this episode of Karamo’s “Talk, Text, or Ghost” segment, host Karamo reads listener-submitted relationship dilemmas and advises whether the asker should talk, text, or ghost the person involved. The scenarios cover a range of modern dating and interpersonal issues: reconnecting with a polyamorous ex‑boyfriend, addressing a best friend’s partner after expressing dislike, deciding whether to inform a married coworker’s wife about his infidelity, confronting a roommate about snack theft, negotiating financial boundaries with a girlfriend’s sister, confessing cheating before ending a relationship, and handling an unwanted one‑night‑stand suitor. For each case, Karamo outlines a communication strategy—often recommending a direct conversation (talk) when the issue involves trust or boundaries, a low‑stakes text when gauging interest or re‑opening a connection, or ghosting when the interaction is unwanted or potentially harmful. The episode ends with a call‑to‑action encouraging viewers to submit more scenarios.

Should I contact his wife? If so, how? Ooh, this is messy. Hey friends, so I am back with another episode of Talk, Text, or Ghost. So I hit you all up and said, tell me about what's happening in your lives and I will let you know if you should talk to the person, if you should text them, or if you should ghost them altogether. So let's hear what you had to say. I ran into my old college boyfriend and now he's polyamorous. Ooh, okay girl. And I'm kind of into reconnecting. Handling it, if he's open to it. Oh, okay. How should I bring it up? Well, first of all, just because he's polyamorous doesn't mean that he is open to dating you if you're an ex. I don't know why y'all broke up. So if anything, I would say you probably should text him on this. Feel the feels. Check him out and say, hey, was so good running into you. And you can do that casually through text where it just seems not so invasive as like a call and saying like, tell me about your life, do you like me again? Just like ease in there, and then that way you can get the information you need to know. To know, first of all, if he even likes you. Secondly, if they're trying to open up their relationship to more people. And thirdly, if it would even work for you. So just a cute little text. I told my best friend in person that I don't like his boyfriend, and it caused a strain in our relationship. Should I talk to him again? Yes, you should definitely talk to him, not text him, and definitely don't ghost him. If I can be honest with you, telling someone that you're friends with that you don't like their partner is always a tricky situation, especially if they didn't ask you your opinion. It's a different story if they said, hey, tell me what you think about my partner. Then they're inviting you in, but even then you should tread lightly if they're not a best friend. So I think you should call your friend on the phone, apologize and then hopefully they forgive you and you can move on. And you just create better boundaries so that you don't have to be around their partner and their partner doesn't have to be around you. I work at a hotel and every Saturday I see this guy who I went to high school with check in with different women. I'm friends with him on Facebook and I know he's married. Should I contact his wife? If so, how? Ooh, this is messy. Don't contact his wife, contact the Karamo Show and we'll contact his wife. This one you gotta ghost, girl. You gotta just let this go. Because you really don't know what they're going up into that room and doing. You don't know if his wife is aware of what he's doing. Mind your business or recommend they call the Karamo Show. All right, on to the next one. I'm 99% sure my roommate is eating my snacks. I don't wanna cause tension in our apartment, but I want him to stop. How do I nicely confront him? Well, if he's eating your snacks and it's just the two of you in there and you didn't eat them, I mean, it's clear that he's eating your snacks. So, I would sit him down and talk to him in person and say, hey, why did you eat my food? Going forward, I'm setting a boundary that you do not touch these things. So, whenever I hang out with my girlfriend and her sister, I always end up footing the bill. I didn't mind in the beginning, but now we've been together for 4 months and I'm annoyed that her sister never offers. How do I ask her to start paying for herself? This is a conversation where you talk, talk, talk, but not to the sister, to your girlfriend. You need to sit down with your girlfriend and say, hey, listen, these are my finances. I don't want to have to feel like I have to feel obligated to pay for your sister every time. If she's really your girlfriend and she really loves you, she's going to respect that and she's going to talk to her sister for you. So talk to your girlfriend, not the sister. I've been cheating on my boyfriend and want to end my relationship. I'm ready to break up, but don't know if I should tell him I was unfaithful "what should I do?" Well, first of all, this is definitely a conversation you need to have in person. It's hard, but yes, you're in the wrong. Leaving somebody feeling like, "I don't know why they left, what's going on?" makes them start to doubt themselves. Just be honest with them. Say, "I was unfaithful, I know our relationship has to end after this, I think it should end, but this is what I did, and let's figure out how to move on." So, I had a one-night stand and the guy will not stop texting me. It was cute for a night, but I'm not interested in anything else. What should I do? A one-night stand and y'all didn't do anything else? Girl, you can ghost him. Call it a day, block him on Instagram, just block him, block him, block him. And if you see him out in public, then just say, hey, I don't want anything. So you know that I love chatting with you all and I love hearing about your relationship situations. So keep sending them to me and I'll keep letting you know my opinions on if you should talk, text, or ghost a person. I gotta get out of here right now, but this is cute. I had a good time. You had a good time? Me too. All right, friends, see you later. Hold up, hold up, where are you going?
