So y'all need to know that when I worked in social services, I worked primarily with LGBT youth between the ages of 12 and 21 years old. And I understand the damage, especially for an LGBT youth, when you have a parent that's rejecting you and the rejection continues through your life and how it causes anger issues, trust issues, walls going up. And so for me professionally, and just personally, I would never re-trigger someone for a television show. And y'all, anybody who's been in this audience knows me, but this ain't for TV for me. I actually come out here because I want to help people. And so I'm scared about putting him in crossfire again.

You have been rejected from a child and you did not deserve that. The thing that I could only leave with you is I'm sorry.
