Karamo Reads Viewer Comments On Explosive Dad Who Went Viral | Karamo Connects | KARAMO

Karamo responds to viewer comments on a viral video of divorced parents arguing onstage in front of their daughters. He condemns the father's excuses, criticizes how the new partner became a co-parent, and argues the children's need for healing is being ignored while adults stay stuck in their own pain.
You made a promise you wanted to be in these kids' lives. We are not together because I cheated, you cheated. So what?
So ever since my guests Mo and Renee divorced, Renee's relationship with his daughters struggled. The hurt his daughters were feeling from the loss of their relationship with their father was very evident. And the anger between the parents was so big that they didn't even stop arguing when their daughters exited the stage. When I left the stage, there wasn't nobody up there, and they still going at it. This episode went viral, and y'all had a lot of thoughts, so let's get into them. I don't think Mama is bitter. I think Mama is tired. Yes, that is true. She had to take care of those girls no matter what while Dad did his own thing with another woman's child. Those kind of men want to control everything, but they have nothing to give. Everything is always about them. You know me, I can't deal with excuses. And I say this, and maybe I'm a little bit tougher because I'm a father and I don't give excuses. I step up and I do what I need to do. And even in my hardest moments, I either ask for support from other adults or I figure it out myself. But I don't ever make my kids feel like, oh, it's your job. I don't even make my son's mother feel like it's her job because we both made this child together. He had a lot of excuses about him, him, him instead of being like, oh, it's about you and I need to show up for you. It was tough because I know a lot of people are dealing with this. These young ladies are more mature than their parents. Listen, I ain't gonna say that the young ladies are more mature, but I will say the young ladies were definitely on a path to wanting to heal more than the parents were willing to acknowledge that they were still in a lot of pain. And I think that was important for me to realize that y'all was— y'all's— you over here, you so mad at him. He's so mad at her. You so mad at the new girlfriend or wife or whatever she was that y'all don't even realize that your daughter's over here trying to just get answers so they can be better. And that's where the issue lies in because that's why they— that's why they don't even pay attention to the fact that their daughter's left the stage and I left the stage because it wasn't their priority. Their daughter's left because it's about healing. They want to stay because they're still in pain. The new wife should mind her business because she only knows what he tells her.
It's 2023. We've been married for 2 years. He ain't stepped out on me not once.
Everybody clap for that. OK?
I don't need nobody.
That's easier said than done. It's very easy to be like, she should be minding her business. Get out of this. Stay out. You know? But at the end of the day, she is now a co-parent in this situation. Her new husband has put her in the middle. It's not rightfully so, but he has because he's coming home and he's talking to her about the situation, what's going on. And so it's really his fault for being the conduit between all of these that is dysfunctional. He should've been like, "Okay, let me heal this relationship with my ex-wife. Let me heal this relationship with my daughter. Let me not involve my new wife." He's the middleman. He's the point. He's it. That is him. You know what I mean? These people are all connected through him, and so he has to make better decisions. Karamo is fathering your kids while you fight. No shade. I ain't gonna say I was fathering, but definitely comforting them. You know what I mean? Because I'm not gonna be paying no money for these children, okay? I'm not paying no money for these children. But I will definitely show them the love and comfort they deserve. Matching a child's energy seems so immature, like yelling at them because of the issues you have caused just seems so dumb to me.
I'm sorry, but when I moved away, I didn't pack you up, fight your mother, and put you in the car and take you with me. I die and hurt every day because I don't get to talk to you.
I just wish that parents understood to stop giving excuses and At the end of the day, nobody wants your excuse. I think back to the things my father said to me. I don't need your excuses. I just need you to just do better. It's one of the things that I practice constantly with my own sons. If they say this is something they needed as children, I'm going to hear them because I'm their father. I'm gonna try to do better. It's enough with the excuses. It's just so sad. This next comment, if he wanted to, he would. You better preach, girl. 'Cause that is it. If he wanted to, he would. Wait, listen. Listen. If your man wanted to, he would. If your girl wanted to, she would. If your father wanted to, he would. But they don't. And so they give you excuses. And they lead you on to believe that they want to. When you want something, you gonna get it. Trust me. If you want to get somewhere, you gonna find a way. If you needed something to eat, you gonna try to get the food. It's just what it is. I love y'all comments. Y'all say some cute stuff. So come back next time so we can keep connecting. Hold up, hold up. Where are you going?
