A single mother explains why she has to model the behavior she wants her kids to learn. When you shut down a child's feelings, you can't understand what they're actually going through. She's their only role model, so she has to be intentional about it.
Your daughters are mimicking majority of your behavior, but there's also something about shutting down your kids where they can't express what they're going through. And if you want me to help your kids, I have to know what they're really going through. I don't know the truth of any of this situation. I don't know what's going on. All I know is they fought, they mimic their mother's behaviors. There's so many things.
We're their only role model though. You have to understand. Well, for me at least, because like I said, I'm a single mom and I'm gonna keep going on that because it's really difficult.
I get exhaustion as a parent, but I also understand that you gotta model the proper behavior. She don't wanna stop.
I mean, you know what I'm saying? And she smiles the same way you smile every time you say something.
She does the exact same thing.
I'ma stand up for her though, because you know a lot of times—
Of course, because the same way Jamerrill and Nadia stand up for each other. Like, of course you gonna stand up for her.
