No, I didn't. The first mystery man, which is my ex, I did not reach out to him because he wasn't in the time slot at all. So I did go back and I did go back through all of our messages. There was so many messages. And so he is excluded. And so, but I did reach out to Dante. Well, I didn't reach out to him concerning the show because that was just something I did.

Yeah.

But I did reach out to him eventually because I was just on my way to where he lives. I was going into that area and something just hit me to just text him and just see. And so I just text him. I said, we're finna be in the area. If you wanna see her, you could just meet us where we are and things of that nature. And so he did end up hitting me up I had sent him my location. He was on the way. But we were just so tired. We had just been in the book, just came and worked all those hours. We were tired and we had a long drive to get back home. So he was coming into town the next day.

And so he would see her then. And so I wasn't expecting to hear from him then though, but I actually did end up hearing from him.

Okay, perfect. So just take us back. How did you lose contact in the first place?

I had just got tired of him saying what he was gonna do and not doing it. Got it. when it was coming to her. So I just cut off contact. And so that was all. I had planned to leave him in 2025, actually.

Yeah, so you were already done with the relationship and he wasn't showing up.

I was done.

Right, I was done.

So were you surprised that he actually showed up to meet your daughter?

Yeah, I really was. I was very surprised that he came, but he did. She went to him, they had they little moment.

And then I went back to work.

Okay. Prior to reconnecting, did he ever help you with the baby at all?

Um, no.

Nothing at all?

But I never really asked him for anything either, simply because when I first got pregnant, I told him, I told Marty, we discussed everything. Marty said he didn't, you know what.

Yeah.

And then so that way I told Dontay what Marty said. And then we, we knew, Dante knew that he did it.

And so it went along from there. I would tell— show him pictures and stuff, um, but then I started replying to myself, so I cut contact then. And we had initially said we were going to do an abortion anyway, and I came back. I changed my mind.

So, so I had already told him that I wasn't going to really contact him for anything anyway.

Got it. So how would you describe your relationship with him right now?

Right now we're good. He came and got her one weekend and so he kept her for one night and she did really good. I'm surprised she— he said she did good.

She acted good because she's bad with me. So I was just surprised.

Is he stepping up financially? I know that you said he's showing, he's picking her up and all that, but is he stepping up financially?

I don't expect him to.

He will, if she needs anything. But it's just something about when you do what God says, and having her was what God told me to do. I haven't had to buy anything for her really from the time she was born, so.

I mean, different sources. I mean, it just came from some of everywhere.

Yeah. Well, I agree. I'm glad that you got that support. But if he is found to be the father, I do believe no matter what the choice is, and I think this is something that, the reason I'm sharing this with you is because I can hear you're grappling with the fact that you made a decision, then you changed your mind. And you have full liberty to change your mind. That is your right as a woman to say what you wanna do with your body and when it comes to your child. And the fact that, the fact that he made a choice to be there and have unprotected sex, he was saying in that moment, we have a mutual agreement that if you get pregnant, that I will support this child. So though I can see you're dealing with that sort of like going back and forth.

Take that guilt out the picture, girl. Take it out. Uh-uh. The mutual agreement, the minute he laid down with you and he said, I ain't gonna wear a condom, that was the agreement, okay? Whether you change your mind or not. So if he is, If he is this child's father, then he does need to step up financially in a big way.
