My Own Daughter Bullies Me Online! | KARAMO

In this episode of Karamo’s talk‑show style program, mother Tamara and her adult daughter Tiasia (also referred to as Tiaja) confront a public, social‑media‑driven conflict that has escalated into online bullying. The daughter repeatedly posts on Facebook and TikTok accusing her mother of neglect, starvation, financial exploitation, and even attempting to run her over with a car. She also claims her mother’s behavior is motivated by attention‑seeking and monetization of her trauma. Tamara counters by describing a lifetime of sacrifice—supporting her daughter’s track career, working long hours, and providing financial assistance—while denying the accusations and emphasizing that she has never responded to the online attacks. Karamo moderates, presenting excerpts of the daughter’s posts, asking probing questions, and urging both parties to acknowledge each other’s “truths.” He offers conflict‑resolution advice: avoid profanity, consider the impact on any younger children watching, and model respectful communication. The conversation also touches on financial disputes (car repossession, rent, money requests) and the broader theme of how family drama is amplified and potentially monetized on social media. The episode ends with Karamo apologizing to both, emphasizing respect, and encouraging a path forward that acknowledges each side’s perspective without further disrespect.

This is the My Mom Is My Biggest Hater series. My mom is 50, almost 55, and doesn't have anything. She has nothing, nothing to show for it. She don't own anything. She don't have no houses, no nothing. I just looking at her in my head with disgust, like, you're such a broke bum-ass bitch. Like, you're just a broke bum. Last year, 4th of July, I cussed my mama out. I'm talking about cussed her out like a dog. I cussed her out on Facebook. I put it on Facebook. I called her the worst mom ever because I'm so tired of her playing with me. Well, you done crossed the line, bitch. And that's why I gotta put back in they place. How you got me mother or not, you got me like I just I still have more stories to tell. Like I ain't even got into everything.
Well, listen, we'll talk to Tasia a little later, but everyone please welcome her mother Tamara to the show. What's going on with your daughter? From your point of view.
Karamo, I don't know what happened. She's the internet bully. She's outta control. The disrespect is just disrespectful.
Yeah.
And this all started about 2023. She started going left.
2023?
Yes.
From your opinion, what happened in 2023?
I have no idea. We were close. It's only been me, her, her oldest sister. I mean, we were close. I'm the mom that was there for everything. She ran track, she was big in track and field. I spent 15 years of my life, never missed a track meet, sunburnt, to get her a full ride, to set her up for success. She lost that due to smoking weed. After that, it was a post on Facebook.
And what type of things is she posting about you?
She says I'm a bad mom. She says I starved her. She says that I'm not there, I don't know how to listen because I won't agree to the nonsense or the lies or agree with anything wrong that she wants to do. You heard it, she disrespects me. She calls me out my name.
Well, listen, we have some of the Tiaja's posts from the past 2 months. So these are things she says. She said, who told my mama to go to the baby shower dressed like Thomas Jefferson yesterday? Where did she even find that damn purple blazer? Mothers really be jealous of their daughters once they start to become young women. I think it's weird. Got a BBL but still broke and asking people for money is crazy.
Oh.
I'm making a TikTok series right now about every issue I have encountered with my mama. I'm about to monetize off my pain. Child, the way my mama showed her BBL butt to my baby daddy when she first met him, you think she wanted to blank? Okay. Y'all, I'm mean, but why would my mama call Karamo's show? She want help fixing our relationship instead of just calling me. Yes, her number is blocked. Does that mean she couldn't have called me from somebody else's phone? If she really cared enough— Oh, okay, man, save it. Okay.
Okay, let me debunk all this that's up here on the screen. First of all, the baby shower, the colors were white, purple, and black. This is the purple blazer. And I had on gold boots, so I was actually cute. Okay, let's go to this one. What am I jealous for? I can't be jealous of anything that I created. I'm the original.
I'm the original.
Not a jealous bone in my body.
Do you ever respond to your daughter on social media?
It has took everything in me, the God in me, not to. I've never responded, but to see her trolls that don't know me try to insult me, like I said, it takes every strength that I have to not say anything.
Okay, I gotta ask this, and I'm gonna talk to your daughter, but I wanna talk to you first because children don't just act out unless there's something that's hurting them Or something that has bothered them. You know what I mean? She's angry about something.
If you can tell me, then we'll both know.
I know she said in this that she might as well just monetize her trauma in one of those posts. So you assume she's doing this to make money?
It's attention. You're bullying on the internet, literally. And because I'm your mom, I haven't took actions further, but you couldn't do this to an ordinary person. Uh-huh.
Exactly.
You just couldn't.
Yeah. And when was the last time you spoken to your daughter?
I saw her November 1st at the baby's birthday party.
Got it. Okay. Well, I think it's time to see what Tiasia has to say about all this. So everyone, please welcome Tiasia to the show.
Hi everyone.
Hi Tiasia.
Thank you.
Thank you for being here.
Hi Karamo.
Thank you.
How are you?
I'm good, thank you. How are you?
I'll be better once this is over with and I can part ways.
Okay, so you wanna part ways?
Definitely.
You don't wanna have any interaction with your mother?
No, I do not.
Okay.
I don't know why she called, same way I made the status. I don't know 'cause it don't make no sense to me. Like, you could have called. If you really wanted a relationship with your daughter that bad, you was only blocked from that one number. Me personally, I have my own daughter. I'm star 67, I'm doing whatever 'cause that's my baby. No call, not nothing. So all of this is fake, it's a show, it's for this. I'm grown. What accountability do I need to take? It's her responsibility.
What accountability do I need to take?
It ain't problems that I have but her, she don't like to hear about herself.
That's why she always— I think this is a very valid question. If you can give me one example of something that you're saying that your mother won't take accountability for.
Okay.
Did you try to run me over in a car?
When? When?
All right.
When?
All right.
How would I do—
All right, did we get into fighting when I was 17, yes or no?
We?
No, we didn't.
Did I whoop your ass when I was 17, yes or no?
No, you didn't.
Did I not beat your ass 'cause you hit me? Are you serious? And I blacked out?
So let's ask this. So she said, first of all, let's go by these facts.
Let's go by the running down her.
Yeah, she said you ran her over by a car.
No, no, she tried to.
So was there something that happened with you in a car and her on the outside?
Let me tell you the truth of the story. We stayed on a street and we stayed up a hill.
Did you try to run me over in the car or not?
It's not your time, he's speaking to me.
You don't tell me nothing. That's what you don't get. I'm grown. That's what you don't understand. That's why we're here. Act grown. That's what you don't get. Act grown. That's what you don't get. That's what you don't get, girl. You gotta love a girl that's gonna mop your behind. Baby, you act grown. Pay your bills. Stop getting your cars repossessed. Stop coming to me to bail you out every time you're broke. Repossessed? Yeah, let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. Let's talk about it. This ain't your car that's parked outside my house, my 3,000-square-foot house. Let's talk about it. That's your rent? With 2 cars? That's your rent? Then what are you doing? And at 55, what are you doing?
I'm doing the same thing.
What are you doing?
So you're saying what?
I'm broke, bitch. You're saying what? You wanna go dollar for dollar? Do you wanna go rent for rent? We can.
Look, man, please. Let's go back.
Let's go back to the car wreck. Man, this is so lame. You've been waiting 10 years. The same lady asked me for everything. The same lady that asked me, hey, hey, can I, you got $800? Then you coming to me asking me to help you with all your bills.
Look, girl.
Oh, I gotta move. She moved 5 times in the last year.
And still for $1,000 a day.
I need to leave you.
give it to me.
And I don't give you no money. I gave you money. I don't care. You owe me. You owe me. I just had a daughter 14 months ago. I would never ask my daughter for any type of money because I got a 27-year head start on my daughter. I would never.
Can I ask you something?
Do you hear me?
Let me ask you this.
Let's just state facts.
Since we didn't get to the issues, let me ask you this.
Let's state facts.
So in your mind, when did the problems start with your mother?
It started when I was a teenager. She starved me when I was 14. Really?
Girl, so for a week straight, did you not put me on protein shakes?
Yes or no?
You're trapped. Yes or no? See what she do?
No accountability.
Anybody that knows you run track, if you eat beef, it's heavy. Girl, bye. Did you put me on a protein shake diet for a week or not?
That's it.
That's all I had. You didn't buy me no food. You didn't put no meat in the house. Girl, you live in an imaginary land. It is in your head.
Get me off of here then.
Why are you still here? If I'm imaginary, why am I still here?
Because this is my last stop.
You? What do you do? What do you have at 54? What do you have?
A peace of mind.
You got your peace of mind. You're miserable, Brittany. Miserable. Miserable.
Literally.
I said miserable.
This is her. She loves to put on a show.
My whole family knows this. Everybody in Greenville knows this, and it's cool.
That's why I don't want a relationship with her. I don't have to deal with this.
I'll tell you, I'll tell you 2 things, and some people here are not going to agree with me. I actually admire you for fighting and speaking for your truth.
Thank you.
The part that I don't admire is that I don't think you have to cuss with it. I think that you can get your point across and express your feelings in a way that you don't have to cuss because there's some people who are not gonna hear your message anymore and they're not gonna hear your pain because of your delivery. I'm not gonna stop you. That's your social media platform. What I'm gonna say to you is there's a better way than cussing or doing some of the things because there's people who are not gonna hear your message. That's what I'm gonna say to you. The second thing I'm gonna say to you is is I also want you to make sure you remember there is a daughter now that's gonna watch this behavior. And so I wanna make sure that you understand that one day your child will see this behavior and could potentially think, I can do the same.
I understand that, but I need you, before we get so caught up on my child, because I'm a great mom.
If you— if you're a social media mom, I'm a social media mom, I'm about to smack the shit outta you.
Out of her.
I'm not saying you are. I'm not saying you are.
You really gonna try me like that?
You're a social media mom.
I'm not saying you wanna try me like that. I wish you would. Do you really wanna try me?
We're gonna give you your water.
No, no, no.
This is what I'm gonna do. Tasia, I'm gonna give you a glass of water and I'm gonna meet you backstage, okay? So I'm gonna have you go in your green room.
The trying my—
the, the, the, the—
me?
I'm a social media mom?
Yeah.
I'm gonna have you meet— I'm gonna meet you backstage.
You ain't had your baby since last Wednesday.
I'm gonna meet you guys in the green room.
Because I've been out of town?
Yeah.
Weird-ass kids. Tiaja, thank you.
Tiaja, first of all, thank you. Thank you so much for talking.
No problem.
We'll see you in the green room.
But you came from a good one, 'cause I did everything that I needed to. You see the disrespect? They just got a glimpse of my reality.
No, I did get a glimpse of your reality. You understand? I addressed her first.
Yes.
Because I think it's important to— I'm gonna validate that I don't know her childhood. You have your experience and she has hers, and so what I was trying to express to her If she felt like she needed to express herself online, it ain't the way we do stuff.
That's right.
I wasn't raised that way. I wasn't raised that way. The way I was never do stuff. But if that's the way she felt like she needed to express herself, whatever. But I do not think, and why I tried to encourage her, is the way she's delivering it. Speaking about you, cussing like that, it just, it turns off. And what she does not realize as a young mother is that it does model certain behavior. But the next thing for the reason I dismissed her so we can talk.
Yes.
Grown people.
Yes.
Your daughter is always going to fight against what you say.
Right.
This battle is not to be won.
Okay.
And the reason I said that is because I did ask for specifics in these situations and I heard discrepancies in specifics, but I can't judge that because I wasn't there.
Right.
So since I wasn't there, I don't know. But her reality, it's real. And what I've learned in helping people, what I've learned also as a parent, is that when a child says their reality, it's like, got it, I understand. That is your truth. That is actually the line that I usually tell people. That is your truth and I respect it. Because what happens is that I'm trying to give you a space to protect your peace.
Yes.
If she says, you tried to run me over, What you gonna say?
That's your truth and I respect it.
Oh, yeah.
You did so good until you did this. That's the part I'm trying to tell you to work on because that's the part that will then get you backwards and I understand why.
It's so hard to tell a lie. I know, I know. It's almost like you wanna degrade. It's almost like you're—
I know. Like she wants to, I feel you.
But it's saddening because when, as a mother, When you have to sacrifice you, going through things, working 7 days a week to make sure that these kids have, just to be talked to disrespectful.
Because I never—
But what I do—
You never deserve to be disrespected by one of your kids.
But I do know that you have a child. What goes around comes around, and karma don't wait for nobody. At 54, I do know that.
You know what? I listen. That's why I gave her the advice to say, the model, what happens, that child will see. And no matter what they could think, this is appropriate behavior. I saw it, I clocked it, I'm with you. And again, I wanna be clear, I understand the sacrifices and you don't deserve to be disrespected. And I don't want anyone to think that I believe you should have been disrespectful or that I agree with her disrespecting you online. I'm just saying to you is that the mother at this point, if you take my advice, No faces after it. Just say, that's your truth.
That's your truth.
And I respect it.
I respect it.
No faces. It could be a pathway, I promise you. I've seen it before, all right? And again, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry to both of y'all. I'm sorry for how she feels and I'm sorry that you've been disrespected.
I really am. I'm sorry for how she acts 'cause she wasn't raised that way. Yeah.
Amen. Okay. Well listen, make sure to come back next time, friends, so we can keep talking and growing. I love you all.
