And those codependency issues are probably triggered by some type of abandonment, some type of abuse that you've happened. He just alluded to before that whatever you went through with your ex, you're now doing to him, which means there was some of this behavior that got brought onto you prior to this relationship. Mm-hmm. Okay. Yeah. So let's just take a moment and be vulnerable for a second. If this was happening to you, why do you want to do this to someone else?

Well, I didn't, but that was the first thing that came to mind. Mm-hmm. So I just did it. But I didn't really wanna, you know, hurt him in that way.

Because I tell you, that's the first place we have to start here. And so like, the relationship is unhealthy and the foundation established is also unhealthy. But outside of just a relationship with you two, there's a relationship with yourself that needs to be fixed. Because regardless if I tell you to break up with him or y'all separate, the next person you get with, if this is not healed, is gonna carry on. And so what I'm asking you to do is to really go home and say, how do I heal from this? That's the key to unlocking all of this is that you need to understand what happened there and how you gotta heal from that. Then secondly, for you. The journey starts with you to understand why you think this behavior is okay. Because you can love everybody in the world, you can love everything, but loving outside doesn't reflect the love you have for yourself on the inside.
