In this interview segment, Cori Broadus, Snoop Dogg’s daughter, shares personal insights and practical advice on navigating negative comments and haters on social media. She emphasizes the importance of self‑love and believing in one’s own beauty as a protective mindset that diminishes the impact of criticism. Cori explains that her response to hateful remarks varies with her mood—on bad days she may react, but on good days she chooses to ignore them because attention is what trolls seek. She recounts her early experiences with platforms like MySpace and Facebook, noting that her parents delayed her access due to her sensitivity, which later informed her awareness of how social media can affect mental health. Cori advocates for blocking out negativity, focusing on positive feedback, and striving for authenticity rather than presenting a curated façade. She highlights the role of family support, with loved ones reminding her of her true identity beyond online opinions. The conversation underscores a broader cultural shift toward sharing raw, unfiltered moments online, encouraging viewers to be real, authentic, and resilient in the face of online hostility.

If you love yourself and you think you're beautiful, believe that all day. Because then when somebody else says something, it won't matter because you already know how you truly feel about yourself or about the situation.
She didn't even say it at all.
I know, she really did a good job.
Yeah, she's so thorough.
I think it just depends on the day, okay? If I'm having a shit day, then y'all gonna hear a few words or y'all gonna get a few replies from me. But if I'm having a good day, I just ignore it because that's what they want, right? They want your reaction. They want attention.
I just usually remind her who she really is. What people say don't define you. We know who you are. You know who you are. Yeah, people struggle with things, but this is who you are. I love you. I'm here. Your family's here. Just reassuring her. I think that's the biggest thing.

I mean, even when I'm reading my comments, There's all these positive comments, right? And then there's that one person that says something negative and my whole heart just drops or I'm just so angry. It's like, "Cory, all these 100 other thousand people just said positive things and this one person says something negative and you're sad, you're about to cry." Like, you know what I mean? Like, you just have to block it out, silence the noise, and really just focus on the positive. So it's so funny because I wanted Facebook, I wanted MySpace, I wanted all these things as a young girl, but They were like, no, no, for these various reasons, you know what I mean? So it took them a while to let me get on social media. They actually let me get on there when I started doing music at 13 years old. And I was just like, I see why they didn't let me get it, you know, because they know what it comes with, you know? And I've always been very sensitive and, you know, I'm easily triggered. So they knew what type of person I was and how it would affect me. So that's why they said no. But sometimes you got to learn, you know?
Do what works for you, because every relationship you will get into is going to be different from the last one. It's always going to be a form of compromising, a form of a little, a little change. It's going to be different. So just do what works for you personally and be real and authentic.
