Chapters
So since March, what other issues have you been having in your relationship?
I catch him just randomly looking at females and then he claimed that's his peoples and then I'll be like, okay, then when I ask again, he be like, I don't know that person. And then every time I walk away or whatever, he get my attention by calling me A. I'm not your friend, I'm your girlfriend, not your friend. But when he see another female, he call her by her name. I don't like that.
But he calls you A?
Yeah. That A? Get my attention. Oh.
Is he controlling?
Yes.
In what ways?
Just like last night, I wanted a separate room. He ain't want me to get a separate room because we came out here together. But my thing is, if you get under my skin, I need a separate room because if I hurt you and we out here, I could go to jail. I'm not trying to go to— This is not my city. Like, no.
You said, "I could go to jail." I could go to jail. I get it, girl. You could go to jail. I'm glad you did. Did you get your separate room?
Nope.
He didn't let you get your separate room? Nope. Oh, 'cause we would've gave you a separate room.
They booked it, but he just didn't want me to go.
Okay, I know, 'cause I'm like, if you want a separate room, we'd have gave you a separate room.
They booked a separate room. He just ain't want me going in a separate room.
Wow, okay. Well listen, I heard your side of the story and I wanna be fair and I wanna give Anthony a chance to tell his side of the story. So everyone please welcome Anthony so he can tell us his side of the story.
How you doing?
Welcome to the show, Anthony. Thank you for being here, man. Glad to be here. Yeah. All right, so let's go back. Anthony, are you still married?
No. No.
No. Okay. Do you have the paperwork to show you're not married?
Nope. Yeah. Do you? I ain't see it.
Not here presently, but it's at the house.
But I ain't see it.
I told her.
I ain't see it.
Okay. Is your shirt tan?
Huh?
Is your shirt tan?
No.
Your sweater, is it tan? Yeah, yeah, the jumpsuit. Okay, this way, okay. Do you have another girl pregnant?
No.
No, okay. Nah.
Okay.
But I do have a lot of fans. Like a lot of females, they, we all cool. We cool, we just cool.
So what was your point of texting her talking about is her stomach fat and is it a boy or girl? Like, but that's not your baby. I don't get that part.
I don't even remember.
You don't remember that?
Uh-huh.
You don't remember a lot of things.
Are you cheating on her? No, that's the whole point what we came here for. You're not cheating on her? No, it's good gentlemen out here, it's real men.
You don't gotta worry. But you're not a good gentleman.
Okay, are you controlling?
Yes.
No.
Yes.
It's the other way around?
Yes.
You think she's controlling? Tell me from your opinion.
Don't know. Don't know.
That's not true, that's not true.
Don't know.
She controlling. It's always like last night, controlling. You debating, you get into an argument, you start an argument up purposely And then like during the debate, I'm gonna get my own room, you know? So I want to make sure I'm safe. Why won't you leave her alone? 'Cause you're still in the same hotel. You could just went next door and checked on her and said, you all right? And went back to your room.
Insecure.
Yeah, yeah, I'm gonna be honest. I'm insecure with safety. I really am.
Okay. No, you just insecure, period.
No, that's not true.
Yes, it is. Yes, you is. Okay, it's the other way around. No, it's not.
My producers told me that you've been arguing since you got here.
Is that true? 'Cause like I keep saying, he compare me to a dead person.
You ever seen people be with a dead person?
Bro, so I guess I called him a bitch.
Hold on, hold on, hold on.
I called him a bitch. So he brought up my ex and I said, why you keep bringing up my ex? I don't bring up your baby mama. So he compared me to his baby mama. But like I keep saying, she's no longer here. If I don't bring her up, why you keep comparing me to a person that's no longer here?
His child's mother has passed away?
Yes.
Okay, okay, got it. She got assassinated a few years back. Okay, got it. So Anthony, you called the show why? Because the bro is some real gentleman and I ain't cheating and I don't know about all these other females. I don't know nothing about no, none of that.
So all the messages that was in your phone was just lies?
Nah.
Nah, so I'm right.
So you have cheated and texted with other people? No, I ain't cheat nothing. Okay. Okay, you didn't cheat anything. Okay, well listen, it's time to unlock your phone. Unlock, unlock, unlock, unlock, unlock, unlock. Well, Anthony, we unlocked your phone.
Go ahead.
Is there anything you wanna confess first? Ain't nothing to say that she don't already know. Makyla, you wanna know if Anthony is having inappropriate conversations with someone named. Anthony says he is not. My locked phone investigator searched his texts and found he is telling the truth. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Makyla, you wanna know if Anthony is talking to other women. Anthony says he is not. My locked phone investigator searched his apps and found that he is telling the truth. Thank you.
Oh, y'all ain't doing enough digging. Y'all ain't digging right. Y'all ain't digging right.
Truth is facts, man.
Truth is facts.
Y'all ain't digging right.
Y'all ain't digging right. Y'all ain't digging right.
Listen, Makyla, you wanna know if Anthony is cheating. Anthony says he is not. My locked phone investigator searched his phone and found 236 web searches, but it's for a new apartment. Why you looking for an apartment if you already have a place to stay? Well, we upgrade. You always upgrade, upgrade, upgrade, upgrade. Okay, so you searching for an apartment. She know about it though. Okay, you know he's searching for an apartment?
Yeah, I know. We was both searching for an apartment together.
Right, right, right.
Thank you.
So can I get my gentlemen applause for some of y'all?
Thank you. Let's go, Karamo! Let's go, Karamo! Let's go, Karamo! Let's go, Karamo! I'm being real. I don't do nothing.
I dedicate everything to you. Okay, so do I think that Anthony has a wandering eye? Yes. Do I think that Anthony will allow things to be inappropriate? Yes. Do I think that he's crossed the line?
No.
I'm gonna tell you something. Let me tell you why. Let me tell you why. Let me tell you why. So I read body language and I do things on purpose, which is I can already tell his tells for lying, which is why earlier I asked you if that shirt was the color I asked you to see how you would respond. Because when you lie, you do this.
Heh heh heh.
Heh heh heh. That's your tell. Oh, don't worry, you gonna watch it back.
You gonna watch it back.
I don't lie, I don't lie. And so I was gauging on the things that when I would say, did you cheat? You wouldn't do that. But when you would say like, yeah, I held the door open. Or yeah, maybe I sent a text. Oh yeah, oh, the girl, the, the, the, you lied on those things. But what I can tell you more than that is what's going on in this home life is super unhealthy. I think that y'all rushing something too quickly. I think that you were in a vulnerable situation and you saw somebody who just got out of a relationship and you knew that you could manipulate your way into this so that she could take care of you. Nah, not at all. So then if that's not the case, why you don't have a job or apartment and you 35? Nah, I can't work. I got disabilities. What happens with your disability check? Yeah, I get that, but they cut it off these past two months. Just now got it back on. Ask her what we do. Okay, so what I'm saying to you is I do respect if you have some disability. I will never make fun of that. But what I do know is individuals, because I worked in social services, that you're gonna be getting some type of assistance. Then that assistance, she just said that when you're in the house with her, you have not paid anything. So even if you, those were her words and she said you haven't paid nothing.
You paid something.
No, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. My point being here is that at 35, with or without a disability, there should be some trying to help and support in the household. And so that's why I can come to the conclusion and feel confident in the fact that you saw someone who was 20 20 years old and said, oh. I do also know that because of the way that you established a relationship, it was a dominance, it was a power play. You said, make me a sandwich. She said yes. And then when she made it for you, you said it's wrong. That is a part of manipulation and control. It's textbook almost.
Do you mind if I help?
I can't eat nothing that you done. What are you talking about? No, I'm telling you that is textbook. I'm gonna get in your head. I'm gonna tell you this. No, it wasn't it. Makyla, I need to know from you. What was your home life growing up?
My mama always had something going on, you know, fighting and abusing and stuff like that. I grew up like that.
Okay, so I wrote that down because I could already tell that. And that's the reason I asked that question because your behavior is mimicking that. And this is common. And I'm sorry that you did not get to witness a healthy household because now you're trying to figure out at 20 how to make that happen on your own. So you get emotional with school.
What's going on?
It's okay. It's okay.
'Cause all I could do is just, I don't know, if I see something wrong, I just yell at him about it, go at him about it. But it's the fact that when you came in my house, bro, you was texting all these females. Now you want me to be nice and all? No, I can't do that.
I get it, I get it, I get it. But I wanna stick on this because what I want you to understand is that you can have your own breakthrough.
You should've left it in the past then.
What you all don't see and what I see is this is a young woman who was in a household where this is what she wanted to scream to the men that your mother dealt with. Am I right? Okay. But that's only going to hurt you. And so what I would encourage you to understand is that yes, you deserve love and you deserve security. You do too. I'm not saying you don't. You deserve those things. I believe this relationship should end. You should not be in this relationship. And if you have the courage to end this relationship and ask him to leave your house, Take a year or two to be with you. Realize how great you are. Oh, calm down, baby. Can you go to the back? Yeah, you go to the back.
You go to the back.
You go to the back real quick.
I don't know. This how we going in. Oh.
Right, right. But yeah.
My daughter is a narcissist and a pathological liar. She making up lies about me and everybody else. Anybody else. You smoking weed, you drinking, and then she even lie about that. She tells people I starve her, beat her. People think I'm an abusive mother. None of that's true. We have a strained relationship to the point I feel like I just hate her. I can't take this no more. That's why nobody wants a relationship with you.
Toriana, thank you for being here. Everyone, welcome Toriana to the show. So we were watching that together and I saw that you immediately had a reaction. What was going through your mind when you were listening to what I'm saying?
Oh my gosh, that's one of my traumas that hurts me the most.
Yeah.
That's one of my traumas that hurts me the most. He wasn't even fucking there. I had a miscarriage and I dealt with that alone. You wasn't even there. You calling me a liar. I'm 21, I can drink, I can smoke weed. It's how I keep myself sane, how I hold myself. So I don't lash out, so I don't blank, and you sit here and you call the show to try to build a relationship? It's been 21 years! 21 years! You haven't had me since I was 7! Since I was 7! And you left me home! You left me home every day with 4 other kids so you could be young and do what you wanna do. You starved us when you was mad at us. You beat us. Oh, you didn't burn me with the iron? Well, let's talk about that. Let's talk about that. You don't remember putting the iron on my arm because I couldn't find grease for my little sister's hair and my granddad came and wrapped my arm up that day? You don't remember that? You don't remember choking me, throwing me down the flight of stairs and I blacked out, had no memory of doing that? You don't remember hitting my brother in the nose with a bat? You don't remember hitting my sister and throwing her against a glass table, busting her head open and we sitting in a hospital room and she getting staples in her head?
So that's what got you On top of everything, when she called you a liar in this.
Yeah.
It seems as if—
What the fuck I gotta lie on you for? Why is DSS involved? Why is they involved? People just lying on you. People just making up shit on you. I got taken away the first time when I was 4. They give you the benefit of the doubt to give me back to you and then take me away again, take all of us when I was 7. Then we all split up. We have to find each other. You didn't come searching for me. You only cared about them.
Was she drinking and doing drugs during this time?
My mom, yeah, when she had my brother and all that time she was drunk, that time she didn't even remember. How my brother started bleeding? She said it outta her mouth. She literally said, "Who's bleeding?" Now we all said my brother. Like you didn't remember hitting him in the nose? She don't wanna take accountability. She lives in this world where all her children lied on her. You just delusional. You don't wanna believe nothing. You don't wanna confess to it. That's my big thing. It ain't about the relationship. It's about standing in your truth because at the end of the day, rather you're here or rather you're gone, you gotta sit in front of God and he's gonna ask you. About those times, you gotta stand in that truth.
Do you want a relationship with your mom?
Yeah, because I'm willing to break that generational curse.
Got it, okay. So what do you need from your mom today to move forward?
Stop telling my business.
Stop telling your business.
Stop lying, stop trying to make it seem like somebody just trying to portray you as a horrible mother because I'm not.
You need her to admit?
Yes.
Got it.
At the end of the day, I don't care about nobody out here, Toriana. Do you understand me? Do you understand? First of all, you had your fame, right? That's what you wanted. So let me say what I gotta say. Let me— okay, but the way I know you was gonna lie, Toriana, but I ain't know you was gonna lie like this. I ain't know you was gonna lie like this, Toriana. I know you was gonna lie like this, and I left a lot of stuff out on the strip because I care about you. But first of all, you telling people I burnt you with an iron. When I do that— You did. First of all, girl, he was greasing my sister's head. You said, can you get that grease out the bin for me? And I said, where's the grease? You told me the bin. I looked in the bin, couldn't find the bin. You said, come here, took the iron that was on the ironing board and put it right on my arm. Let me tell— Then you did— You put that on everything. Stop it, Karamo! You better get her before I get her, because I don't care about none of these cameras. That's the thing. The way she's lying, the way Toriana is lying is crazy. What you so afraid of? It's crazy. First of all, y'all let her talk, so it's my turn now.
I would love to hear your point of view. I would love to hear your point of view.
But the way, I ain't mean to, I'm not trying to get rowdy and make a scene, but at the end of the day, I called the show.
I understand.
I called the show, I hit her up because I care about my daughter. Why would I get on camera and make up something like that? Now I'm gonna say what I got to say. I wanna hear it though. But what I'm telling you, I don't care nothing about these cameras on here.
Take a seat for me. Let me hear what you gotta say though.
It's crazy.
If you wanna tell me, tell me what you have to say.
I had to show up, okay? Because I was really sitting there thinking, at first I had got to a point like, you know what, fuck it, she older, I don't care if she disrespectful, whatever, I don't apologize.
When was the last time you saw her?
Saw who?
Her.
Almost 5 years ago because it was COVID and we video chat a couple times.
So the last time y'all seen each other in person is 5 years ago?
Yep, almost 5 years ago.
This is the first time today?
Yep, yep.
Okay, and you are 21?
Mm-hmm.
So you were a teenager the last time you saw each other?
I was in high school.
High school, okay. I spent over a decade working in social services. Right. So you said that none of your kids are with you, that they were removed from the house.
Right.
So what was the conditions and why they removed them from the house?
Okay, May 2009, I went out of town to go see my grandmother. I had never left my kids, never been nowhere. I had people in my house that had been around my kids since they was little. Fast forward, went out of town, like a day later I get a call from the ACS worker telling me, "Oh, your son," and my son was like 6 at the time, I think. "My son had walked to school by himself and a stranger picked him up." Down south, you have to be supervised to get on the bus down there. But because of that, I had got a CPS case. Right around this time when they was doing the investigation, my mother asked, "Could she take the kids?" And even though I was in foster care and I had history with my mother, I trusted her enough. One of the stipulations was she wasn't supposed to have 'em around my cousin. They called me and said, "Listen, we specifically told your mother not to have them around the kid, your cousin." Around his cousin. "Do you want your kids in a foster home or do you want 'em with they father?" They had already took, like already gathered them up. My mother already told them that I left my kids for some man on the internet knowing Then I went to go see her mother. I came back down south, we went to court. They was just saying, they told me prior to this like, you're not gonna get your kids back today. So I'm like, well, how I'm gonna get my kids? They said, you have to hire a lawyer and go into court. All they lawyers.
So the problem that I'm having with the story just from working in this field is that normally if you've gotten to the place of a court case, that means there has had to been some signs of neglect and abuse for them to take it that far. And I understand the neglect part when your son was caught on the street. And I understand that maybe there could have also been signs of abuse from with this person being around. But at that point they would've given the kids back to you unless there was more.
I'm telling you the truth. I wish that I could show y'all all the GoFundMe emails, everything, me trying to contact lawyers to get my kids. I got it. This is the truth. I'm not lying.
So what happened during that time? Did they discover more neglect?
Karamo, let me tell you something. I'm not gonna sit here and act like I ain't had no ACS cases, CPS cases or nothing. Toriana got taken away from me when she was 2 years old.
And what happened during that time?
Toriana, she went to go live with her father. Some things happened. She ended up in a group home. And so when she got a certain age, she was able to make her own choice where she wanted to live. Around this time, my children's father had got killed. And I ended up going back down south, but to try to get my other kids back. But at the time, Toriana was living with somebody, and she felt like, you know, she didn't have a father. No, but the problem was you didn't want us to have a mother and daughter relationship. You was afraid that me and her was building that mother and daughter relationship, that you stepped in between that and broke it up. Because first of all, that's the truth. Let's go. No, you want to say I'm a liar? We going to prove everything. My child don't have nothing to do with this at all.
If you call the show asking—
what the fuck?
You called the show asking to repair?
You're sick. No, you're sick. You're sick. Go to jail today. Got somebody else wrong. Show them how you got somebody else wrong. That's why don't nobody want to fuck with you. Show them how you— show them how you don't want none of your kids, and none of your kids want to be with you. I'm not worried about none of that. I ain't worried about none of that. I'm not— I'm not worried about none of that. You're never going to change. That's your problem. You're never going to change. You're never going to change.
I'm gonna take 5 minutes. If you can just step back.
Yes, you gotta step back. I'm telling you. What's that? Go ahead. That's a threat. You're doing this for the camera. You're doing this for the camera. You're the one getting mad and petty with me. I'm telling y'all.
I'm tired of you. Y'all better get up.
I'm not worried about you. Y'all better get up. I'm not worried about you. Show them how you get. Show them how you get. Show them how you get. Yo, go get your ass up. You a wicked old dirty old bitch. That's why God will never do good for you, bitch. That's why God will never bless you. That's why God will never bless your ass, you stupid bitch. I don't give a fuck.
I don't care.
I don't care. I don't give a fuck about TJ. That's my life. That's my trauma. That's my trauma. That's the shit I've been through. I speak up for me and my 5 other siblings. Bitch, I don't give a fuck. I'm done. I'm done.
You don't need to be back here.
Because y'all really tried to play the fuck outta me on here, yo. I'm done. I'm not doing this. I'm ready to leave. Y'all really tried to play the fuck outta me.
All right, Akiyah, I gotta ask you, why is James accusing you of sleeping with family members?
Because something is wrong with him.
Uh-huh.
Like.
You talking about point blank?
Yes. Yes.
Okay.
I'm not cheating on him. I really love him. I've been with him since 2015.
Why do you think he's worried about you cheating?
'Cause he doing him.
So you think he's deflecting?
Yes.
And projecting onto you. Okay. Have you ever cheated on James?
In the beginning when we first got together.
Okay, so maybe not so much.
But we didn't know each other. Like that. Got it. Right.
Okay, so in the very beginning you started cheating? Yes. And how many times did you cheat in the beginning?
It was 3.
3 times?
Yes.
Okay. Has James always been loyal to you?
No.
No? Explain.
Like he used to send me pictures of girls, him, like naked pictures.
He would send 'em to you?
Yes.
Why?
I don't know.
Was it to make you jealous? Were you asking for 'em?
No.
You weren't asking for them.
He would just text me and just be like, "Oh, I'm with a girl." And I'd be like, "Oh, you lying." Then he'll send me the pictures. Yep.
So just throwing it in your face. Yep. And when was this? He was doing this in the beginning? Is he still doing this?
This was like maybe a year ago.
Got it. A year ago he's sending you photos. How long y'all been together again?
Since 2015.
Okay, so 2015.
Yes.
And just a year ago he's sending you photos of women he's with. You told my producer, do you feel like he acts controlling with you?
He do. Everywhere I go, he needs to know where I'm at. I have to FaceTime him, send him pictures.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
When did he start acting controlling?
He started acting controlling about maybe 2 years ago. Mm-hmm. Yep.
Got it. And what did that do to the relationship?
It's tearing us apart. Like, 'cause like I said, I know I'm not cheating on him, so why do I have to prove anything to him?
Mm-hmm. So you told my producer that one of his family members told you something about him. What was it?
That when I'm not at, well, when I'm not with him, that he's with different females at her house and she found crusty panties.
Said that she's with different females?
That he's with different females, yep.
So how does your family feel about the relationship with James?
They don't want us to be together. They don't like him.
Okay, tell me, 'cause I'm interested, girl. Okay. It's me and you here. Forget about them.
Yep. Mm-hmm.
What do you love about him?
I mean, he's not a bad person. Like, he's really not. He can be sweet at sometimes, you know? But I don't know. We've been together for so long.
You said he can be sweet sometimes.
Yeah, he can be.
You know they got a candy store around every corner. You can go get— if you need it, if you really got a sweet tooth, I can buy you a snack.
You right.
I'm just saying. So what else is it that would?
I don't know. He's always there for me when I need him, you know? So I don't know.
Okay, I understand.
We got time in.
So what are you gonna do today if you find out he's cheating?
Leave him.
Leave him?
'Cause I know I'm not cheating, so I'm not tolerating none of that. Mm-hmm.
You unlocked your phone for us to prove to him that you're not cheating, correct?
Yes.
Okay. And why did you do that?
'Cause I have nothing to hide.
Mm-hmm. Okay, understandable. Well, listen everyone, Ikiya's boyfriend of 8 years, James, is here. So I think it's time that we meet James and get his side of the story. How you doing, James? How you doing? Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you. So why do you say Ikiya is cheating with a family member? Because I went to a family event and she disappeared in a hotel with him and I was calling her phone. She didn't answer her phone.
No, that's a lie.
What was going on?
It was my niece and nephew birthday party. I invited him to come. He was so quick to leave. So me and my family went outside to smoke. I kept calling him, he didn't answer and he left. Got it.
And so where were you during the time when you left? What did you go do? I went, I drove off to like a little market or something.
You told me that she went back home.
My producer told me that you make her send selfies of herself just so she can tell you where she is to prove that she's not cheating. Is that true? Sometimes. All the time. So these are the selfies you take. This all say like 6:23 AM. Are you on your way to work?
Yes.
So when she's on her way to work, Do you think she's doing something? No, not when she on her way to work. But that's when you request the selfies? No, she off and she just sent 'em to me.
No, you're lying. You're lying.
What am I lying for?
You're lying.
What happens?
He be like, oh, send me proof. Or he'll FaceTime me.
So just to see where you're at?
Yeah.
If you're actually where you're at. So why do you do that? 'Cause you just, you think she's cheating on you that much? No, she do that to me. So I do it back to her.
No, I do not. No.
So if you think she's cheating, why are you staying? Because I care about her and we got time in. What do you love about Aikia? She a nice person. What else? She give me like, she give me her last. I never had no girl that care about me like her. Uh-huh. Got it. Do you care about her?
Yes. No, you don't.
Why you say that?
'Cause he cheating on me. How you care?
I don't cheat on you though. How often does IKEA, you said you're not cheating? No, I just got a lot of female friends. Got it. Why send pics of you with other women that you cheated with to her? I don't know, I just be mad because she be making me mad. What does she do to make you mad? Like she won't answer my phone calls or she won't answer my texts or nothing. Yeah. Okay, I got it. Well listen, we're here to unlock both of your phones, so there's no point, or unlock your phone, IKEA, 'cause you actually brought us here so we can unlock your phone. Yes. So you can prove to him that you're not cheating. Okay then. But first, whoa, my producer tell me that James, you have a confession that you wanted to share with IKEA. I care. I know you're a cheater, but you just keep hiding it. Since you cheating on me, I had to take care of myself. The truth is I had a one-night stand 5 months ago, and I had sex with my ex 2 weeks ago. This your fault. I had to do what I had to do because you was out there being a nasty little hoe. If I find out you was cheating, I'm doing me.
Did you? Did you?
What you mean, did I? So did these other women that you just talked about mean anything to you? No. Why'd you do it then? Because I thought she was messing with a family member. Oh, okay. 'Cause I heard you say it's her fault. Why was it important for you to make that confession? Why was it important for you to make that confession? I don't know. What's going on in your mind, Aikia?
I'm done.
You done? Yep. Are you surprised to hear that confession?
No.
You're not surprised to hear it?
Nope. Okay.
Well, I think since you did come here for us to unlock your phone, let's go ahead and unlock your phone and tell us what we found in your phone. So James, you've been questioning if she's sleeping with anybody, if she's doing anything. So we unlocked her phone, we searched through everything that she has on her phone and things that she deleted. So anything and everything was found. My Unlock the Phone investigator searched her apps. And in her apps, we found that she is telling the truth. There is no suspicious activity. My Unlock the Phone investigator searched her calls and found she's telling the truth. There's no suspicious activity. We also searched photos and videos. And found nothing at all. The only nude photos we found on her phone were photos that she sent to you, not to any other man, deleted and present. So Aikia has not been cheating on you or talking to any men. There's been nothing in her phone. So now you just said in the video that it was her fault that you cheated, but now you know she didn't cheat. So whose fault is it?
My fault.
My fault. So Akiyah, are you really still gonna leave him? Yep. You are?
Yep. Yep.
What do you wanna say to him?
We done.
Do you believe that she's finished with you? I guess. I guess.
Oh, I am.
Okay. So how long has it been going on, this recurring pattern of like telling you lies?
For about 4 or 5 months.
4 or 5 months. And how did it start? The first time I was with my cousin and I was supposed to pick him up and when I got to the place he wasn't there. So when I called, no answer again. So do you have proof from his phone that he has been cheating?
No, he won't even let me touch that phone.
That's why I'm here. Oh yes, I have. We take pictures.
And I'll be like, baby, let me see that phone. No, no, I'm gonna send it to you.
Like, I can't touch your phone.
It's just a phone.
Sleeps with it under the pillow when he is home. And I know your cousin's here today and she's part of the audience, right? Oh, Lord. Rosie? She's Rosie? Where Rosie at? Okay, let me come talk to Rosie for a little bit. You brought Rosie here, not me.
Oh, girl.
Okay, let me hear what Rosie gotta say. Rosie, how you doing?
I'm doing.
Rosie, I already see your face, girl. Let me know, what are you feeling?
I mean, I love my cousin to death. I love you too. And I feel that she rushed in this relationship too soon and he's not trustworthy. I don't think I did, I don't think I did.
You single so you won't understand.
You know, and I'm gonna be single until I find a man that's gonna treat me right and not cheat on me and all that. So I'm good, you know, I love myself. If y'all not gonna do it and do it right, then y'all don't need to be together. Point blank, period. That's it.
Rosie, I appreciate your perspective. Yeah, thank you so much. Anybody else have something to say on this? Yeah, come on over.
I just feel like before you find love, sometimes you gotta love yourself. And so just make sure you're loving yourself before anyone else, before giving that love away.
Beautiful statement, yes, I appreciate that, yes. You have two people here who are telling you, your cousin, you have a complete stranger who's saying, I don't know if you're loving yourself, that if you're giving yourself the self-love that you deserve. I think it's time to bring Dontez out and see what he has to say about everything we've heard. So let's go ahead and bring Dontez to the show. Sitting up here lying to these people. I ain't cheated on you not one time. I didn't say you cheated. Okay, Dontez, nice to meet you, man. How's it going? How do you feel about what Keith said? Man, she's sitting up here making nothing but lies, man. She's over, she's controlling. She wants to be the boss. I'm not controlling. And I ain't ready for all that right now. So my question is, before he even came out, you picked a tissue up and I see you getting emotional. He didn't even come out yet. What's going on? 'Cause I'm ready for this unlock. The phone? Okay, we gotta still, listen, we gonna get to unlocking the phone. But I got to get his side of the story. Do you feel like you need to lie to her? Yeah. You do? Why? Because she's controlling. She wants to go through my phone. She calls me 15,000 times. I say I'm going to my daddy's house. She's gonna call me as soon as I walk out the house and ask me, what am I doing? Why am I doing that? 'Cause you say you're overnays and you don't be overnays at your daddy's. So just tell the truth and I won't have to call you 20,000 times. So you're saying you admitting that you do have to lie because she's controlling you, then where are you then in those times when you're not at your father's side? I might be with my kids. I go to football games with my sons. I'll be with my fat mother, baby mother. So you at football games till midnight?
Sometimes. Kids' football games? Yeah. Oh.
One of the big things that I thought was interesting is that she has called your sister and your sister has said to her, "Hey, my sister's a hater too." Oh. She's a hater too. So I guess I know how you feel about your sister. Used to be involved because we grew up together. That's supposed to be my dog, that's my sister. So that's what they teaming up and saying, it's girl code. It's girl code. It's bros over, you know, what y'all say.
So why can't we have a girl?
Damn. But that's your sister. Your sister is the one saying, listen, he's not here, he's lying. I'm not about to lie. How do you feel about her? I didn't believe my sister was doing that at first. Until I got a call from somebody from your show and my sister was in it. So I knew she's been telling her some things that— Okay, so what about you FaceTiming me from Nays and you wasn't there? What was I at? Until 20 minutes later, then you FaceTimed me from there. Okay. So where was you before then? I don't know, we'll figure that out. So Dontez, I'm gonna ask you right now, is there anything that your sister can say to me to Key to let us know that you actually are lying and cheating? No. Okay. I just don't tell her. It's not lying, I just don't tell her nothing. Well, I think it's time. Why not? Well, I think it's going time to go ahead and bring out Nay and hear her side of the story. So let's go ahead and bring out Dante's sister Nay and hear what she has to say about this relationship.
She's coming.
Nay, how are you doing? Good to meet you. So let's find out right now, do you ever tell your brother to stop lying?
Yes.
Okay, and why do you have to tell him that?
Because, because as we done got older, back now, as he said, back in our younger days, I did laugh for him. I did. I might cover up for him anything. We're older now. If I get hurt, he's hurt. So it's not fair to him to hurt another woman.
Plus, I'm a woman.
Talk about it. I don't want my Black women to be let down over just being dogged to be dogged. That's why I do that. That's where it comes, that's where it is.
And how does it make you feel to know your brother's acting like this? You said you want Black women to feel empowered.
I know it's hard. I know he's better than that.
Yeah.
It might be something, it might be the last relationship, that's where he's turned the next woman down. It might be, that's what it is. 'Cause I know he is, it's really not even him.
But that's different from me though. You are my sister though.
So?
You ain't supposed to be going against me like that.
It's not that I'm going against you.
You ain't supposed to tell nothing neither. I don't tell.
I just say, did you come over my house? No, he ain't over my house. She told the truth.
She told the truth.
Nah, he ain't over my house. So I didn't let— he ain't over my house.
You should've called.
He over his daddy house, but he ain't over my house. He might be over Trey's, but he ain't over my house.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. I get it. How do you feel about being caught in the middle?
It's not— I just want him You a hater, that's what you are. I am a woman in the part, as far as—
She's not a hater.
I want all of us to not be dogged by nobody just because you've been hurt or somebody hurt people hurt people. Yeah.
But you are my sister, you ain't gonna hurt me.
It don't matter who's sister, who's not sister, it's called human.
She got two baby daddies, I ain't tell 'em that.
Yes he does.
But that's my friend.
My last relationship, the more that I was hurt, it hurt him. So it wouldn't make no difference for you to hurt her?
Yes, got it. My brothers don't want me to be hurt like my cousin. I wanna know from you, do you think that your brother is using Key?
I don't wanna say he's more using her because my thing is a person only gonna do what you allow him to let you do. So if you keep allowing him do you like that, he's gonna continue to do you like that. That's right.
All right, so listen, before I get to the unlock the phone results, Key, I wanna know, is there anything that you wanna say to Dontez? I just wanna know the truth. I just need the truth.
Like, keep it real with me.
I ain't cheating on you.
It's all we're here for is to make sure he ain't cheating on her. It solves all the problems. I just need the real truth.
All right, well listen, we unlocked your phone and as you know, we go extensively through your phone. I got that feeling in my stomach. We go through every single app, text messages, emails, location services. Everything. So when you saying you at football games, are you at football games? Oh, you smiling now. Sometimes I'm at the football game.
Okay. Sometimes, not all the time.
Most of the time. Okay, well listen, we have unlocked your phone and so we're gonna be going through every single thing. All right, so Key, you asked us some specific questions. Specific questions about other women, about the football games, about sites on his phone, about everything. I'm gonna go through those for you one by one. So when it comes to nudity of women on his phone, the only woman that we found on his phone was you. Told you I wasn't cheating on you. I tried to tell you, I tried to love you, I tried to be there for you. You just took The question, we still got a lot more. When it comes to the question of him being at football games, watching football games with other people, going to kids' football games, is he lying? And we tracked location services each of the times that he has texted you to say, we looked at location services and we have found that he has always been at those games. There was nothing found on his phone that could show that he was cheating. I told you I would.
Okay.
No, 'cause your whole thing is— Okay, so the thing is, is that he's told us right now that he was doing this because he felt like he was being harassed in some way. And I'm not saying that's the proper behavior, but we now understand why he was doing it. Do you have anything to say to him?
My bad. What do you want me to say? I don't wanna be sorry.
Not my bad.
My bad? What you want me to say, sorry?
Okay, then you know what? All right, so how do you feel about those results? I'm proud of you.
That's right.
You was right this time. Not my bad and I'm proud of you. I'm right. I ain't gonna say that, 'cause that was, you accused this man of cheating.
Yeah. You would too if you was with the one I was with.
Listen, I'm not judging, I'm not in your relationship. I'm just saying that's what you had said. All right, so the question is, Dontez, you have been found to have not cheated. There was nothing on your phone. Do you wanna stay with, what do you wanna say to Keith? I don't wanna be in no relationship with you. I just want you to lose my phone number. Don't call me or none of that. I'm done, okay? It's done. I didn't see that coming. I did not see that coming. I'm sorry. Please for me, describe your relationship with your mom. So I'd say that my relationship with my mom has been strained the past few years because we just argue a lot. She's very in my business and she just oversteps her boundaries with things and I just need help setting those boundaries with her to have a healthy relationship. So my producers told me that your mother wasn't fully in your life. She wasn't, so— So what was it like growing up with her when she was there and what was it like without her? Well, growing up it was really nice most of the time with her, but there was a custody battle between my parents and my mother lost. So when I was around 10 years old, I went to go live with my father and I didn't really see much of my mother after that until I turned 18. I was 18. It's not often you hear about a mother in a custody battle losing custody. When did your mom find out that you self-identify as gay? She found out actually after I turned 18. She didn't really have an idea, she said, before. And I thought that was kind of surprising because look at me now. You're like, girl, you got eyes, girl.
Yeah.
She found out, she said she saw a social media post on my Instagram and that's how she found out. 10 years is a long time not to be in contact. It is. With your child.
Yeah.
Tell me what was going on there.
Yeah, so let me clarify. Luke and I did go through a very long contentious custody dispute that lasted around 10 years. We did have contact twice a month. We had visits. We also had holiday visits with my parents But it was still strained because we weren't able to communicate between those visits. I'm a very dedicated mom, love my son to death, and my issues with him now are partially about him being in the gay community and how the choices he's made with certain unsavory friends and toxic sexualized, over-sexualized maybe situations. However, I have been very accepting of him in every way.
During that time that you didn't get to see your child, what life were you building in your head? Because this is the thing as parents, I know this just for myself, we start to imagine our child's future.
Exactly.
Especially when you're not around them.
Right.
What life were you building in your head when you weren't around your child?
So to be honest and to be fair, he played every sport. Baseball, soccer, ran track, basketball. He was gonna get married and have kids. And then I did find out on social media that he was gay and I was shocked just because of, I mean, I don't know if I was a little in denial, but I never honestly didn't see the signs.
Yeah, yeah.
So I didn't see 'em.
Yeah. You say Luke is irresponsible. And naive.
Just recently he picked up a homeless gay guy from California who flew out here to live with Luke. Fast forward, the kid gets my son's name tattooed across his chest. That was a red flag and an alarm bell for me. The kid just recently totaled his car. So there's been other situations. There was a situation where one of his friends called me at 4 AM 4 in the morning claiming Luke was missing. And I don't know if this was a prank, but for 5 hours I didn't know where he was. I had to call the police, all the police stations.
I just have a few things to say about what she just said. Please tell me what you think. I honestly think that my mom can have her opinion on the friends that I have, but at the end of the day, it's my choice and my life and my journey that I have to go through and I have to make the mistakes to learn from them. And the thing like my mom does is if I'm arguing with a friend, she'll go out of her way to go message them on social media and blow the situation out of proportion. Also with the me being missing, my phone was literally just lost. So that like—
Okay, but your friends did call me at 4 o'clock in the morning claiming you were missing.
Well, my phone was just lost and then she started calling the police station and everything and I'm like, chill out, like my phone stays off.
That's what a responsible parent would do.
And that one I get 100%. Somebody call me at 4:00 AM to say my child is missing, I'm gonna be on every dial on calling everything. It is what it is. So that one as a parent I do understand. But when you take it further, like you just said with social media and then message someone's friends, now that's something I don't do.
No, I've done that once or twice.
And she comments like mean things on their posts. She just blows up situations that could be dealt with in a better manner. What mean things has she said? She, one day she says she hates me, never wants to see me again. The next day she loves me. So I never really know exactly what I'm gonna get from her. Your child just said that you say things like, "I hate you," and then say the next day, "I love you." Right, and I have regretted that, but I think there's a big chunk that we're missing here. Tell me.
The story. And I'm not trying to clear, justify that.
Where does that come from?
Here's where it comes from. He's put me through a lot of stress. The poor decision making, the calling me up. I don't get it. I get no respect. It is a respect issue for me. There's a lot of rudeness, a lot of disrespect, a lot of blowing me off, putting me last on the list. And I'm the one who's always there.
You're here now. Exactly. And so I'm looking at the patterns of behavior There was many years you weren't there.
Well, I was there. I wasn't allowed to be there. I was there. I went to the school for parent-teacher conference.
So why is your child's feelings that you weren't there?
Well, his feelings are valid, but so are mine.
They are valid, but as a parent, and as a parent to another parent, when your child says you weren't there, that impact has a greater impact on what our child goes through versus what we went through. I do believe when I hear things about how you're acting and how you talk about your child, that you call their, who they are a lifestyle. Just let y'all know very much, anytime you say to someone who is gay or trans that their life is a lifestyle, you would not like to be told that who you are is a lifestyle. This is just who your child is.
Right.
Secondly, when you say things about unsavory friends, when you say things like they're not good, these things are something that I know to be true is called implicit stereotype. Let me teach you this really quickly. Implicit stereotype, 'cause I see you're shaking your head, but I'm very knowledgeable about this stuff as well.
I'm talking about experiences I've had with them personally.
Listen, I understand what you're talking about.
And we don't have all day to talk about it, but—
We actually do, we on my show.
Okay.
So we do have all day. When it comes to implicit stereotype, what that means is when you have feelings that have already been deep down inside of you. I asked you that question about what life did you build in your head about your child? Because that life and that thought pattern And any feelings you had attached to the LGBT community are showing their head now. Even though you're saying, I'm there, I wanna be there.
Let me, yeah.
I'm telling you from your actions, you are still showing that implicit feelings of, well, I don't know if I really feel like this is right for you. I don't know if you're making the right choices because you built something in your head that they are not living up to.
I think you're making into, blowing it out of proportion because my son can speak for that. Why don't you see? Speak on that. Have I been accepting of you and your lifestyle and your choices?
Again, you just said lifestyle.
I said you and your lifestyle.
I said it's not a lifestyle. You can't do that. You cannot say—
I said you and your lifestyle.
But I am teaching you right now that you cannot say you and lifestyle. It's just say you.
But have I been accepting of you?
See, I, I'm here to support you, and I'm here to also make sure that you don't walk away feeling as if you're a bad guy, 'cause I don't think you're a bad guy. And I wanna be clear about that. Yeah, yeah. But I do believe there's some education that needs to happen. I honestly think that my mom loves me very much. And I think that now she accepts me way more than she probably could have in the beginning. And the reason that is, is because there's still things from how you perceived your child's life should be that is still coming up. You just said outta your own mouth that you've said to your child, "I hate you." You've said it.
Not for being gay, sir. Not for being gay.
Okay, like I said.
That's absolutely—
I'm telling you something. Things come out of you, what's in you gonna come outta you. And that's what I know to be true. My best friend say that all the time. What's in you gonna come outta you. And what's in you is that there's something about your child you hate. There has been. So whether you want to admit it or not, it came out of you. I don't actually think she hates me. I think she just says things to hurt my feelings when I don't do it. I don't think she hates you either. But what I'm saying to you is there's something within her that she hates you. That when you say something, I've never as a parent, let me just say that.
I think you might be projecting, to be honest.
Let me tell you something, my child, let me tell you something very clearly. My child is right there. I have never looked at my child and said, I hate you. So I can tell you very clearly that there's nothing. You have a great day.
So first I wanna say thank you for having us today.
Of course.
I appreciate this. The way you have calmness and patience with all the guests on your stage. 'Cause today you need your calmness.
Okay, I need my calmness.
You need your calmness, you need your patience, you need God, you need the support from your audience with my sister today.
Thank you for the prep, okay.
Okay, I don't know what we gonna get today, but let's all be in preparation for anything.
So what's going on with your sister? Why you think we need all that?
So my sister, she lies. She steals, she's just beyond disrespectful to my mother. Me and her, we've kind of never had a relationship.
What's the age difference between y'all?
6 years.
6-year age difference. And she's, how long has she been lying and stealing from you?
All her life, since she could talk. More specifically, she lied recently about stealing my earrings. I didn't pay $1,000 for 'em, but I paid some money and they mine, okay? So I'm looking for these earrings. I say, "Adre, where's my earrings?" "I don't know, I don't know." I double checked the earrings in her ear. You sitting up here lying to me with my earrings in your ears. They not yours, you didn't pay for 'em, they might give it to me.
I hear you, I hear you. What has she done to your mom?
Okay, first of all.
We all hear her backstage, right? What happened on Christmas Eve 2 years ago?
My mom had a health scare that could have been detrimental to all of our lives. It's me, Adreay, we got a younger sibling, so In this health scare, I can't even think about what my mom going through. All I'm thinking about is if this is the end for my mom, it's just me and these kids. So if my mom die and it's just me and you, I gotta depend on you to take care of this younger kid. You know what I'm saying? If I can't depend on you while she's here and alive, how I'm gonna depend on you if she die?
Mm-hmm. Yeah, I hear that.
So.
And what did she say?
She don't care.
She don't care. Have you ever had a good relationship with her?
We've had good moments. Okay. But a good relationship, I can't necessarily say that. I can say that we kind of grew up in an estranged household where everybody in the house kind of pass each other. You go to your room and that is what it is. So growing up, we thought that was normal.
So y'all grew up in a house where y'all didn't even talk about stuff?
Mm-mm. But I brought my sister here today because she needs some help.
Got it.
She needs some help. I'm trying to help my, I'm trying, You see the disrespect.
Well, listen, we done heard her backstage already, so I wanna meet your sister and hear her side of the story. So everyone, please welcome Adrienne to the show.
Hi. Let's talk about it. Girl, I don't wanna talk about it. Let's talk about it. You did that backstage and did all that for what reason? Let's talk about it. What did you just tell me? Are you here to tell the truth today or are you here to tell a lie? Didn't you just get to talk though? You hard to tell the truth when you just tell lies.
In all fairness, Karamo. Didn't you just get to talk though? In all fairness, when she was out here talking, you wasn't interrupting.
Exactly. Because I was talking, I was talking.
But in all fairness, in all fairness, so she getting defended, you was defending back. I heard all your defenses. So how do you feel about what your sister was saying then?
Okay, I understand where my sister is coming from being a big sister in this situation.
Okay.
But far as, she just came back really into my life, honestly.
Okay.
She's been gone.
Okay.
Karamo, I was 18. I left and went to college like 18-year-olds do. That's understandable, and I was so happy for you.
I understand.
Did you ever think how that made me feel too? I didn't think about that. Exactly. Thank you.
Did you steal your sister's earrings?
No, her earrings in her ears. Karamo, stop talking to me.
Have you ever had a good relationship with her in your opinion?
No.
No. Why not?
It's just me personally, it's just like she said, we did live in a household to where it's just, we just passed by each other. But I always wanted to be around my sister. I always wanted to be around her and her friends. She can tell you that. But it get to a point to where I can't take the rejection so much. So it's just, you gonna keep rejecting me, so I might as well not even do it no more. Mm-hmm.
Mm-hmm.
That's my favorite picture of us though.
What's your relationship like with your mom?
It's very different than her, her relationship.
What has your mom told your family about you?
The same thing she say, that I lie, I steal, I do drugs. And this new thing of I sell my body as well, which isn't true at all.
Do you engage in recreational drugs?
I did. I've been clean for a year.
Okay, good. Do you feel like your mother was a good mother?
I feel like she was a good provider. The nurturing was never there.
Okay, do you feel the same way?
Mm-hmm.
So is your mom the one who accused you of doing drugs since you said she's also the one that said—
Yeah, she accused me of before I just left and moved back to Michigan of being on heroin, and that's never been the case.
Okay.
So it's just like, dang, I could do 1,000 things good and 1 thing bad and we have a disagreement and it's just the bad things all the way. You got the numbers wrong. No, I don't. It's 1,000 bad things and 1 thing good, and you won't hand clap for the 1 thing good. Just before we got here, she called my mom and say, what have I ever done to you? I said, what have I ever done so bad to you for you to say the things that you said to me, Ma? That's what I said. You done told this lady I purposely did something to hurt her 'cause you hurt me. Would y'all ever tell y'all daughter that y'all would push her off a balcony? No. Thank you. It's a lot of hurt that I have and the reason behind the things. We all got hurt. There's deeper reasons behind the things that I do. It's sad. That's not just because— You be lying and disrespectful. What the fuck do I lie about? All you do is lie. Did you just tell me I wasn't gonna be your shit? I said you ain't got shit, 'cause you don't. What you— Let me finish. You 21 years old, you ain't got a shit. You barely got a shit. He a fucking nut. I don't give a shit about none of that though. That don't make sense. That's the thing. But you can sit down. You're not gonna keep disrespecting me. But you can sit down. You're not gonna keep disrespecting me and think that I'm not gonna disrespect you back. I'm grown as fuck now. That's what I'm talking about. I might be your little sister, but— What type of grown are you? What do you mean? What type of grown are you? Okay.
Well, I wanna meet your mother, Cassandra, I think it's time to meet your mother Cassandra, to hear her side of the story. So everyone, please welcome Cassandra to the show.
I'm ready to go. In all honesty. Mom, please, I don't wanna be touched. No, Mom, I don't wanna hug right now. In all honesty. Please, Mom. I'm sorry, I don't wanna hug right now. I'm irritated. I need some help. Do you hear me? If we all need help, why am I the topic of the show? Why am I the topic of the show? If we all came on here to get help, Mom. If we all came on here to get help, listen. Why am I the topic of the show? Stop yelling, because you know I don't do that. Sit down. I don't want to. I'm not in the mood to sit down. Sit down for me, please. I don't want to ask you again. Hi, Karamo.
How you doing? So how do you feel listening to what your daughters have said?
I'm absolutely torn. Sometimes I feel like I gotta go this way, this way, this way, and I'm overwhelmed. Mm-hmm. It hurts.
Yeah.
I can't sit here and say, "She's so wrong, she's so wrong," because I'm the common denominator here. Mm-hmm. And I know this, accountability and responsibility.
I got it, I hear you.
I've done my stuff, she's done hers, she's done hers. But how do we get on one accord and go all the same?
Do you believe she's stolen from you?
Absolutely, absolutely. I know that. You cheated me out of it and you told me we was gonna split that. Wait a minute, wait a minute, let's keep this together because how can I go to sleep at night when I don't know what you gonna take? You know how hard that is? How do you think it made me feel when I was an at-home babysitter? Please let me know. Absolutely horrible. I was depressed, Mom. And I've been more hurt than I speak on, cuz you know I don't even speak on my feelings. I don't care to for the simple fact of I see how y'all downplaying me now. That's exactly why I don't, and I don't be wanting to. That's why I don't engage in family activities because they go from a group thing to just a two thing. How is that? Who is the two? Those two there. Who got some money? That's fine, I got my own bank. I got my own bank now, boo. Every time it's time somewhere to go, see how you just talk so negatively? I've never really— Please let me finish talking. Out of here. Don't leave. Stop talking to me, please. What is the point of me being here if I can't even speak my damn truth? We all need— That's why you here. Get the fuck outta here. Leave me alone. How do I get outta here? How can we come up here and heal and she sitting up here telling lies?
Does he ever compare you to his late wife?
Yes, he does that often. So he'll be like, oh, if my wife was still around, I'll be doing this. Yeah, and it's just too much.
Wow, wow, wow. And have you and Carnell talked about marriage?
Yes, he actually proposed to me.
Oh, you're engaged?
Yes.
Oh wow, congratulations.
Thank you.
Well, congratulations, maybe. We'll see if this is the text. Yeah, yeah.
If I find out he's cheating on me, then I'm giving him his ring back.
So you said if you find out that he's cheating on you, you're giving the ring back?
Yes. He can have his ring back. I don't need it.
Got it, got it. Have you ever confronted him about his alleged cheating?
Yes, and he just deflects. He be like, "Oh, people that accuse are the ones that's doing it." So now he wants to unlock my phone because I wouldn't unlock his phone.
Have you ever cheated on him in the past?
No, I've never cheated on him.
Okay, never cheated on him. Okay, all right. How's your relationship with Carnell's family?
Distance. I met his daughter a couple of times, but—
Okay, how old is the daughter?
She's 32, so we're kind of in the same age group. Okay. So I feel like she has a problem with that.
Do you see a problem with your age difference?
No, I don't think so, 'cause age is nothing but a number, you know?
So age is nothing but a number. And we fall in love. But hold on, because I've heard people say this a long time, age ain't nothing but a number. But there is significant changes that happen mentally and emotionally with that number. And so yes, you can be 20 years apart, but like the emotional maturity, the honesty, the way that people interact in life, those things are significantly different. Well, Crystal, you asked my unlock the phone investigator investigator to unlock Carnell's phone because you wanna know if Carnell has been making any extra stops on his way home from work.
Yes. And text messages.
If Carnell's using any dating apps and if Carnell has been receiving calls from other women late night and if Carnell has been receiving inappropriate texts from other women.
Yes.
Got it. Well, Crystal's boyfriend Carnell is here, so everyone please welcome Carnell to the show to hear his side of the story. Carnell, thank you for being here, sir. Hi, nice to meet you. Nice to meet you as well. So how do you feel about what Crystal just said? Baby, I'm not cheating on you. I love you and I do want us to get married. I've never cheated on you. I haven't been cheating on you or none of that. When I take my walks, I take my walks just to be, you know, clear my head. I got a lot of things on my mind.
Okay, well I understand that, but if that's the case, communicate that with me, you know? Don't make me feel like you're cheating on me. And you asked me to marry you, so.
She said that her coworkers say that you're not really showing up for work. Is that true? No, that's not true. It's a big plant and sometimes I'm in a different area of the plant, so I don't see everybody. They don't see me all the time. Yeah.
Then why are your coworkers telling me that you're going to work late? Or you're not going to work?
Why are they in my business anyway? Our relationship Your relationship is none of their business.
Well, you're not communicating with me, so what I'm supposed to do?
Well, I mean, don't believe them. You still wanna get married to Krystal? Yes, I do. Yes, okay then, okay then. Well, we're getting a ping with Karamo. I do not. Carnell's daughter, Latia, so let me see what Latia has to say.
Hi, Karamo, I'm Latia, I'm Carnell's daughter. I just wanna say that this relationship between Crystal and my dad, it should not be happening. This is ridiculous that she's accusing my dad of cheating when she's the one probably out here doing whatever she wants to do. For one, she's, she's just way too young.
She's still in her party days. She still wants to go out.
She still wants to go be free, but then have him paying all of her bills. This is ridiculous that she's talking about marriage and kids. They don't, my dad does not need any more kids. She's got my dad paying all of her bills.
She's not stepping up to the plate as a woman.
And in my opinion, they shouldn't even be together.
So she thinks you're still in your party days. Are you still in your party days?
Yes, but first of all—
She said yes. You said yeah.
I wanna react to that because first of all, I have two jobs. He does not pay my bills. She's lying on that. And for one, she's disrespectful. She's annoying as fuck and she disrespectful. Like she needs to mind her business.
Got it. Carnell, how do you feel about what your daughter just said? Well, I'm with Crystal and I wanna be with Crystal. I understand my daughter doesn't like the relationship and that, but that's not for her to decide, so. Well, how do you feel about what Crystal just said where she said like they made these comments about your daughter? Maybe he is, I don't know. It's so funny because I have, my discernment is telling me one thing and I'm just really ready to unlock these phones to get the truth of it.
Congratulations, my man.
All right, well it's time to unlock the phone. Carnell, we unlocked your phone. All right, so Crystal, you wanna know if Carnell has been making any extra stops on his way home from work. Karnell says he is not. My Unlock the Phone investigator searched his GPS and found that Karnell is telling the truth. Crystal, you wanna know if Karnell is using any dating apps. Karnell says he is not. My Unlock the Phone investigator searched his apps and found that Karnell is telling the truth. Crystal, you wanna know if Karnell has been receiving calls from other women late at night. Carnell says he is not. My unlock the phone investigator searched his calls and found that Carnell is telling the truth. Crystal, you wanna know if Carnell has been receiving inappropriate texts from other women. Carnell says he is not. My unlock the phone investigator searched his texts and found that he's not telling the truth with this one. We have one text in the monitor.
Wow.
It's, "Hey, Anthony, it's nice to see you. I'll see you tomorrow." He says, "Hey, you finally text me, huh? Hi, yes, but I got to get to sleep now. I don't want to be too tired for work in the morning. K, I'll talk to you then. Good night, sweet dreams." So that was the extent of it. There was nothing more. There was nothing more past this.
Really, Karamo? Who the fuck is that?
And let's be clear. Who is that? This text was only Monday, this past Monday. There's nothing like that been going on for a while.
Who is this?
I couldn't tell you who it is 'cause I don't know the number.
You don't know the number?
I don't.
So who's texting? Who are you texting?
Well, you said you finally texted me. You finally texted me back.
It's clear that somebody's texting you and you're texting them back.
I honestly don't know who it is.
So you're lying?
No, I'm not lying.
Tell me the truth.
I'm telling you, I don't know who it is.
Who the fuck is this bitch texting you?
I don't know.
Wow. So you don't know? You're shutting me out, you're not gonna tell me the truth?
Look, I don't know who it was that texted me and I don't. I actually believe that you are telling the truth. I actually believe, I really do believe, I really do. And I'm a pretty good judge of character. I'm a pretty great judge of character. And I truly do believe that like he probably was trying to have an interaction with somebody. They probably did not text him for the longest. They finally text back, he say, oh, you text me back. And then this was the excuse.
Stamped.
You notice something else? It says it's unread. So he hasn't even read this yet. So I do believe that—
It just don't make sense though. It's weird like how you just suddenly get a text if you're not messing with nobody at work.
I'm not messing with anybody at work. I'm not exactly sure who that's from. But as you said, I ain't read it. You said it right in my face.
Dude, it's obviously something.
No, it's nothing. Well, outside of that, we do know, what we do know is that he's not going anywhere after work. That he's not, the late calls that he has have all been for work numbers. It hasn't been for any other number. So from based on your questions, and I can't say that I know what you're doing the rest of your life, but based on what you're asking, the late night calls are for work. The going, coming home, he's just there. Even when he walked the dog, GPS shows us around the corner and then come right back. We don't get anywhere extra when he's with his phone to say that he's going somewhere else.
Just because— And just his random texts.
The only thing that we have is this random text. And again, this text doesn't, for me personally and professionally, doesn't give me pause for anything. Like the fact that it was, hey, oh, you text me back and then no response, don't even open it. That don't give me anything.
Well, it's because his phone was broke though, so maybe that's why.
Possibly, but I will say this, well—
But obviously he had to give somebody his number. Yeah.
Well, Carnell, you wanted to unlock Crystal's phone. So Crystal, we unlocked your phone.
Unlock, unlock, unlock, unlock, unlock.
Well, Carnell, you wanna know if Crystal has been using any dating apps. Crystal says she has not. My Unlock the Phone investigator searched her apps and found that Crystal is not telling the truth. My investigator found that she has an active Tinder account from February of this year. Carnell, you wanna know if Crystal is on any explicit websites. Crystal says she's not. My unlock the phone investigator searched her phone and found that Crystal is not telling the truth. My investigator searched her web history and found that Crystal has visited SkipTheGames, an adult escort site, 131 times. And the last visited this site, October 10th, Carnell, you wanna know if Crystal has been receiving explicit texts from other men. Crystal says she has not. My unlock the phone investigator searched her texts and found that Crystal is not telling the truth.
What? No.
Crystal has 435 text exchanges with multiple men where she offered sex for money. Can I see the evidence back? What?
Where are you going? No!
Oh my God. Thank you all. Tell me what's going on between your mother and your sister.
Oh, it's a lot of drama. It's— my sister moved in 6 months ago with her 4 kids, 2 dogs. She just expects everything, everybody to stop their life for her. She doesn't think she needs to cook. She doesn't need to clean. Somebody asked her to do that, that's the end of the world. How dare you ask her to be an adult or a mother? And she'll start to call my mom a bitch, you know, shut the fuck up, I can't stand you, I hate you, you can't make me do this just because I live here.
Does your sister stay out all night?
She works as a bartender and then she'll stay out probably after her shift well until the morning hours. You know, her kids are sleeping is her philosophy. She doesn't need to be there and watch sleep.
Okay, so do you think your mom is raising her kids more than she is?
Absolutely. She has since the day my sister had my niece at 16 years old. Absolutely.
You said your sister needs to grow up. What do you mean by that?
Yeah, she's almost 30 years old. She needs to take responsibility like any other adult does. Granted, we all move back into our parents. That's what they're there for. But you still need to get a you still need to make sure your kids are taken care of. You have to feed them. I don't care if they're 14 years old, obviously you still take care of 'em. My mom's doing it for you at 30.
Oh, listen. Well, we've heard one side of this story, but Taylor, the person in question, is here as well. So Taylor, come on out. Let's welcome her to the show, everyone. All right, let me see. What's going on? 'Cause I can see the emotion.
I just don't understand why she's being so dramatic about this. Like, she's, this isn't, I don't even know. I'm just so sick to my stomach right now.
So what is it that you feel like your sister was saying that was dramatic?
The way I am with my kids. Like, I'm not a mother, I don't, I'm not You're not involved with my kids. Yes, I have talked to my mother that way, but she doesn't, what she doesn't see is what she does to me to push me to that extreme. It's not that I think I'm entitled to not do things around the house, but I work, I'm in school, and I'm a single parent.
Why does Jessica think that your mom is raising your kids?
Because at one point, yes, I was a very crappy mom. Taylor, at one point you were, but yet there's times where I come over to the house and you've been asleep all day, and Mom is so frustrated because she's taking care of everything, getting them ready in the morning, giving them— fixing them dinner, doing their schoolwork, and you were asleep. Mom does not do schoolwork with the kids. She does not fix them dinner. I've been there where she's cooking them dinner. I mean, yes, she has. She has cooked them dinner and I thank her for that. But she's not raising my kids because she fixes them dinner. I do their homework before I do my schoolwork, even though mom said that she had my back when I started school.
What do you wanna say to your sister?
Like, I don't even know who she is right now. That is a total line of craft, Taylor. You know exactly who I am. No. I've had this conversation with you at mom's house in your face before. Yeah, we've had this conversation long ago. It still happens.
Jessica, from your point of view, what is it that you're feeling like still happens?
She doesn't take responsibility for things. Mhm. She, you know, if I do come over, she is asleep a lot of times. Yeah, because I work at night until 3:30 in the morning. I get off work at 4:00 in the afternoon. You should be up and going. I I sleep until about 11 or 12. I wake up, I hang out for a little bit, do some schoolwork, go get the kids at 2, come back home, lay down for a little bit. Taylor, that's what you're supposed to do. That's part of having kids. Exactly, which is why I do it. That is why I do it, cuz it's what I'm supposed to do.
Everyone please welcome Brenda to the show. Brenda, welcome to the show. Thank you so much for being here.
Thank you. Everything I've tried doesn't work. You know, he's the youngest of 3 and I'm there for all of 'em no matter what, but I can't continue to get nothing back. For everything that I give, I get nothing emotionally back. She shouldn't have to do that much. I'm exhausted. If you say it's too much, Taylor, then why are you making her do that much?
What do you think about what your mom just said?
I just, I think she involves herself too much, more than what she needs to. She's not supposed to. She won't give me an opportunity to do something that I need to do as their mother. She inputs herself and does what she believes needs to be done if I don't do it the way she believes it needs to be done. Or when it needs to be done. I understand that, but I'm still an adult and I still have my children that I'm apparently not taking care of. You can't just decide, okay, I'm gonna step up 'cause they're yelling and screaming at each other and you yell and scream. You have to step up and be patient with your children.
Brenda, my producer told me that you think that you're, do you think your daughter Taylor chooses nightlife over her kids?
Is that true? I just think she chooses her own path over her kids. Like if she knows I have them there with me, they're safe, and she then has the opportunity to do whatever she wants. Come home whenever she wants. She doesn't seem to be here all the time. And then, you know, it's like there's 6 people, there's laundry, You know, and I had surgery, so I'm really out of it right now, and it just, I can't get no help from her.
I can't. You call her a bad mom to her face?
Yes, I have. I know that's not who she wants to be, but I don't know how to get her there. From where I am today as a parent compared to a year ago, This is a huge 180. Then I didn't care. They did whatever they wanted. I didn't care about their schoolwork. I would pawn them off on Mom or Jessica and just did my own thing. I still do. I still do. Pawn your children off on me? Yeah. Yeah. To do what? Go sleep.
Go—
I sleep when my kids are at school. School.
I just wanna ask you, Taylor, was there ever substance abuse issues on your end?
Before I had my oldest daughter.
What was it? Just alcohol? Was it drugs?
It was pills.
Pills, okay.
I think you don't understand, like when you go to work or you go to sleep, you leave the kids at home with mom. That makes that her responsibility. Granted, you're in the house, but you're not up, you're not interacting. So that's pawning them off on mom. If I ask mom, hey, I'm gonna lay down for a little bit, are you cool? And you tell me, yeah, that's fine, I figured you were gonna lay down. And if you say yes and tell me that's fine, I'm going to do so. Because I don't feel like I have a choice. What do you mean you don't have a choice? Of course you have a choice, it's your house. You always say that, but then the choice that I would choose to make sets you off. This is what I don't get. I don't know why you guys are coming at me right now like this. Like, this is crazy. We can have a conversation like this at home. We don't need to be on television to do this. You're embarrassing the shit out of me right now. Y'all are making some shit up. Y'all are making shit up. And it's not— I'm embarrassing her? Okay, you live a life in my shoes. You live a day in my shoes. You are embarrassing her because she's your mother. That one that you call a bitch, that one that takes care of your kids. No, that's embarrassing yourself.
Hold on, let me hear what you have to say. Let me hear what you have to say.
Y'all enjoy this shit.
What do you have to say?
Don't go, darling. Don't go. I'm done. I'm done. Get this mic off me. I'm done. I'm done. I'm not doing this. I'm not being judged by these people. There's people out here. I'm not doing this. This is not what I signed up for. Not what I signed up for. So if I'm doing all this cheating, bro, why you still with me? Mm-hmm. Why?
What's his response to that? 'Cause that's the question I would ask.
Because I'm so deeply in love with you. Love? What's love got to do with it though?
Yeah.
Like seriously, if I'm putting you through all of this so much, there's not enough love in the world. Honestly.
I'm gonna ask you the same question. So if he's putting you through all this, recording you.
Because I'm here today.
No, I'm using your own words. I'm gonna use your own words. Your own words was, if all this going on, what's love got to do with it? Why am I gonna put you through this? He's putting you through a lot.
What he's doing is he's assassinating my character and I'm going to prove that that's not the person.
And I respect being proving it, but why are you staying with it?
Okay, you know you got a point. You have a whole entire point because like I said, it was good in the beginning.
Okay.
It was.
And how long y'all been together?
About 8 and a half, 9 years. 8 and a half, 9 years, yeah.
8 years, okay.
So it's been my daughter, right? Mommy, like, 'cause I didn't introduce them at first in the beginning, 'cause you know, she's, Mommy, can I call him Daddy?
Aw.
So like that right there, it's a big deal.
She's like, no. But he, I mean. I love my audience so much. How does it feel to be under constant surveillance as a grown woman?
I'm sick of it. I'm so tired of it. Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
'Cause it's like, where are we going? At this point, just go our separate ways 'cause we're not going anywhere. We're not, we're stuck.
So what is stopping you from going your separate way? And don't use the word love.
I don't know.
What would be the breaking point for you in your mind? What would you do if you found out that he was cheating on you?
He has.
He has cheated?
Yeah. And I know, I know, I know. Because this is, because he thought I've done it so many times. I can't, Karamo, I can't even tell you. I don't know what my break, I don't know.
Okay. Do you think he's making up these recordings ever?
Yes.
You do?
Yes.
You think he makes them up?
Because I'm not doing anything, so where are you getting them from?
Yeah. Have you ever cheated on Adam?
No.
Well, I think it's time to hear what Adam has to say about all of this. So everyone, please welcome Adam to the show. Hey, how are you doing? Nice to meet you. Nice to meet you too, bro.
Yeah.
So, hmm. So why do you keep recording Sylvia? Let me tell you like this, man. So 3 years ago, we was down and out. My mans let us move in with him. So everything was good for a couple weeks. Honestly, I thought that was my brother, and I thought she had enough respect for me not to, you know what I'm saying, violate. But just like women got intuition, man got intuition too. So basically what happened was is, Dude was basically a drunk and he's verbally harassing me. But at the time I needed him, you know what I'm saying? So I kind of took it.
But that's not my fault.
I'm not saying this, I'm not saying this, I'm not saying this. But what I'm saying is it was happening a lot. Now it would be like, yo, all right, go gimme some, go gimme some bottles, go gimme some drink. Send me out the house. Now this is after he done damn near put me in tears. You think, you think she'll walk with me? You think she'll leave the house with me? Not one time she ever left with me. She always stood back. Now what made me start recording was one time—
But babe, how many times did I say, "You want me to come?" "No, baby, you stay here, you stay here." That's when it's snowing out.
I'm not gonna have her walk with me somewhere in the snow. I have you stay there. I should be able to trust you enough to stay there. Like I said, I got the first recording and the only reason I started recording is because, like I said, she butt dialed me one day and on a voicemail I had her talking shit about me to him. So that's what made me— You gonna deny it?
No, I'm not gonna deny it. No, I'm not gonna deny it. I wasn't talking shit about him. It was more or less the thing like what it was. I was talking to his friend, right? But sometimes with him, Adam has the tendency to feel like he's entitled, right? So everything has to be his way. And if it's not his way, it's not the right way. So there was a conversation about that. Yeah, he's entitled.
That's a lie.
No, it's not.
This conversation had nothing to do with me. It had to do with basically her beating the punk ass down.
No, no, no, no, no. Did you hear him tell it? I went to that guy and told him to beat him up.
So anyway, yeah, that's true to it.
See, no, it's not.
But listen.
I'd have beat you up if that was the case.
So listen, but from your point of view, you felt disrespected. To the point where I wanted to see if I left the house again, could I have a conversation with her? She said she wasn't gonna do it no more. So I said, you know what, let me. So I put the recorder in a common place and instead of hearing her talk shit, it was more or less hearing her Getting spanked. You can hear it.
You can hear it.
Well, we heard the audio in the tapes and none of it actually, there's no way any of the audio we heard is actually sex. Now that's true. Now the clips that they took, now you gotta remind you, the clips that they took out of the audios.
You have more on your phone. Now see, he's gonna—
They took sound bites, they took little parts. I got 22-minute videos. I got 22, you know what I'm saying? I got 7.
You gave them your whole phone, right? Then they should've been listening. You should get involved.
So you spend that much time recording and listening?
Baby.
Listen, I spend that much time recording when it's necessary. How often would you say you listen to these recordings? I'm always like, it became almost an obsession because I know what I'm hearing. I know what I should be hearing and not should be hearing. You see that word I wrote right there before you said it? Obsession. Yeah. My goal is actually to exclude her from what I'm believing. So after you hear these recordings and you decide what you've heard, Do you then berate her? No, I go to her and I ask her.
You don't ask me. You don't ask me, you tell me.
Babe, what's this?
You tell me it's true.
As soon as I bring it up, this is what I get right here.
Because I'm sorry.
Listen, listen, you can't even talk about it. You can't bring it up.
Because you know how many times you accuse me?
Let me tell you something. In Albany, she sat there and—
Because I didn't do anything.
I'm 40-some years old. I would never do that. You did a whole lot of shit. Stop lying. Like, stop lying, bro, for real.
I'm not lying. You're lying.
You're trying to be cute on TV.
I'm not trying to be cute.
At least admit the Albany joint.
I didn't do nothing.
Come on, Ma. So he does this for hours. This is y'all's relationship for hours. I'm not gonna stop. 'Cause she said you cheated in the past. Have you cheated? Oh yeah, I cheated. You cheated in the past?
Yeah, because, yeah.
I cheated because I needed a place to live, right? I came back to New York.
I left North Carolina.
I went back to New York. Why y'all surprised by that? Y'all never heard of homosexuals?
I'm cheating, cheating, cheating. Oh, I'm so over it.
Dudes that will come and date you just for your house. Y'all don't know about that? I didn't date her. I didn't date her. That's what I mean, sir. I kept it real friendly. I told her what it was, but she allowed me to stay in the house, you know what I'm saying? Has anyone ever cheated on you in the past?
Yeah, me.
So you cheated in the beginning?
No, I'm just being sarcastic. I'm sorry.
Okay, okay. She's never cheated? Ever? So she's never cheated?
Never.
