Tunde Oyeneyin Talks Social Media Hate & Career Changes! | KARAMO

Tunde Oyeneyin answers three audience questions: how to grieve family loss, how to handle social media hate, and whether to make a career change. He tells the bullying question that negative comments usually reflect the commenter's own insecurities, and tells the career changer to seize the moment and jump in wholeheartedly.
Listen, we have a lot of audience members that submitted questions when they found out you were here, so I wanna go to a couple of 'em. Y'all down? Yes? Okay, here, let me get some audience questions for you. All right, what is your question for Tunde?
Hi, I was just wondering, with all of your family losses, and I'm so sorry, how do you maintain hope? How do I maintain hope? I think that anybody that's dealt with loss or has experienced loss, you recognize just how short life is. Like, life is short, that's a saying. But then when you see it happen, it hits differently. My hope is that I live this life fully because in the way that I feel, I use my brother for example, I feel like he didn't get to finish living life. And so I wake up with hope every single day that my life gets to be lived fully for him.
That's nice. That's beautiful. Thank you. Marian?
I am an online livestreamer and I deal with a lot of bullies. And when I do deal with them, I respond with comedy. "but do you have any tips on how to not let those words sink in and negatively affect you?" [Speaker] Yeah, social media is real. I say focus on the good. With love, there's always gonna come hate. There are gonna be people that look at you positively and say positive, wonderful things, and there are gonna be people that focus on the negative. I'd say focus on the positive. 9 times out of 10, the person that's saying something negative, they're really just showing a reflection of the way that they feel about themselves. And if you can remember that when you read the comment, you know that it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with the way that they see themselves.
Hey, that's the truth. That is the truth. That is the truth. All right, Stephanie, come on down.
Hi, I am considering a change of careers, and so I was wondering what advice you have for somebody starting over. Yeah, first and foremost, congratulations. Not everyone gets the opportunity to experience their blue light moment or this moment where they see their path so clearly. If you are amongst the chosen few that sees where you're supposed to be going, that recognizes your purpose, then live it fully. Live it fully. If this is the next step for you, jump into it and live it fully. Yeah.
I hear that. Good job. Thank you. Hold up, hold up. Where are you going? I know you wanna watch more Karamo, so click here to subscribe and click here to watch more so we can keep talking and growing, friends. I love you.
